The food is okay. After the first food order, the second one either doesn't arrive at all or arrives more than an hour later.

Excellent value for money €20.90 for all you can eat

Honestly, I don't know where to begin. I'll try to summarize everything in detail. It started with the reservation. We booked a table for 6:00 PM, but weren't shown to our table until around 6:15 PM. None of the young staff seemed to have any idea what was going on; the place was packed and chaotic. Then we waited about 15 minutes for our drink orders to be taken. We ordered everything right away, though, because we suspected we'd have to spend the night there otherwise. The appetizers arrived about 50 minutes later, and the main course another 25 minutes or so. It's also worth mentioning that one of our main courses was forgotten. It arrived another 15 minutes late, but we were given a bottle of wine as compensation. In total, we were in the restaurant for over two and a half hours. The orders were all mixed up; we received food and drinks we hadn't ordered. There wasn't much positive to say about the food: the souvlaki and chicken were perfectly fine, but the gyros with Metaxa was very bland and didn't really have much to do with Metaxa. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant, even though the price is very low. At that price, you have to make compromises, of course, but you can at least expect a little professionalism. However, I must say that the staff, even though they were completely overwhelmed, always remained friendly and polite.

Unfortunately, I cannot understand the positive reviews at all. The food was mediocre. However, what was absolutely unacceptable for us was having to wait 45 minutes for drinks and considerably longer for the food. We were there for two and a half hours and spent most of that time waiting. A Coke we ordered was served just before we left. Everything was very hectic and disorganized. In short: It's better to spend more money and enjoy a relaxed and delicious meal without the hassle and long wait.

We went there on a recommendation and it was simply delicious! 😘 All you can eat... amazing! ...but you should order small portions. The staff were super friendly 😃👍 and very attentive. And you should definitely make a reservation.

Despite having a reservation, we were given a very noisy table near the entrance. But... the "all you can eat" meal was absolutely fantastic! You could order whatever you wanted, and the food was incredibly delicious. The waiters were really busy, but the food and drinks arrived promptly. We were completely thrilled and got everything we could have wished for. Thanks also to the friendly waiter who delighted us with the delicious ouzo. Unfortunately, very disappointing... the bread was unbaked, the fries tasted like old grease, and the service never came to our table. The verdict after eating: my partner and I both have stomach aches. Never again!

All you can eat and drink (non-alcoholic and wine) for €20.90! The gyros is incredibly tender, as is the liver, and both are deliciously seasoned. We had saganaki as a starter, which was also perfect. Very friendly service. Everything was great. Thank you!

The first Greek restaurant I've been to that isn't Greek-run. They offered an all-you-can-eat option or à la carte. The service was a bit overwhelmed at times. Several tables without reservations had to be moved because people with reservations suddenly arrived at those tables. This could definitely be better organized. The food was good. The alcoholic mixed drinks were so-so. Other drinks were okay. For the price of the all-you-can-eat offer, it was great. I would have been a little disappointed with the à la carte option.

I am absolutely impressed by the friendliness and service. The food is delicious and the service is perfect. This is exactly how I want to be as a guest. Highly recommended.

Unbeatable all-you-can-eat off-season offer for locals.

Very friendly and attentive staff. The food is plentiful and beautifully presented. We had the "all you can eat" buffet. It's a buffet where the food isn't left out for ages, but is freshly prepared to order and brought to the table.

Highly recommended! We went to Ella's for the all-you-can-eat-and-drink special – and let me tell you, if Zeus himself hadn't carried us home, we'd still be rolling around the restaurant today. The portions? Mythical! The ouzo? Liquid bliss! After the third helping, we seriously considered applying for sponsorship for our stomachs.

Sorry, I very rarely give bad reviews, practically never. But this place was just not good. The food was okay, but nothing special. We had a reservation for six people, but first there was no table for us, and then we were kind of stuck in the middle of the aisle. Two dishes were completely forgotten and arrived later. But only one of them came at first. The second dish was forgotten again. There was no bread left, and instead of bread with tzatziki, they just carelessly put fries on the table. Every few minutes, one of the waiters came to the table and said, "Drinks?" That was all they said. Three of our first six drinks were also wrong. So, go somewhere else. It's not worth it here. The price was okay, though: €20.90 for all you can eat and drink. But I'd rather spend a little more and get something decent. Sorry.

If you're looking to devour really large portions, this is the place for you. No one leaves here hungry.

After we were seated, we weren't asked if we understood the menu for about 15 minutes, and then another 10 minutes later for our drink orders. The drinks themselves didn't arrive for another 15 minutes. While the wait for the food was somewhat shorter, the main course was extremely disappointing: the meat was burnt and tough, and the fries were cold. We then had to wait another 45 minutes for dessert. Towards the end of the evening, no one came to our table at all, even though several guests – including us – hadn't ordered drinks. Despite the advertised closing time of 10:00 p.m., by 9:20 p.m. all the staff were gathered at the other end of the restaurant with backpacks, clearly waiting to close for the day.

The staff has unfortunately declined significantly. I saw that everyone was only wearing street clothes or tracksuits to work. The staff also seemed more interested in chatting amongst themselves than serving the guests. There was far too much cumin in the food; I had to leave it. We were quite disappointed and hope for a swift improvement, especially regarding the staff!

A "classic Greek" restaurant with a menu tailored to German tastes. Mountains of meat with standard names like "Hermes Platter" or "Athens Platter" with rice and fries—the kind you'd find at a thousand other "Greek" restaurants. The service is sometimes a bit chaotic and disorganized, but always friendly. If something gets messed up, at least you get a mea culpa and an ouzo. The food is mid-range Greek fare. Tasty, but nothing special. Since the pandemic, you can also sit outside on the sidewalk while the traffic whizzes by. Well, it's nicer inside, in my opinion. Overall, it's perfectly acceptable if you don't hold the fussy waitresses against you. It's a decent place to stop in and get what you'd expect from a Greek restaurant in Germany. (That is, if you get what you ordered...)

I went there for the first time today. It was my first time eating all-you-can-eat at a Greek restaurant. We shared the appetizer platter. I was actually already full from that. I unsuccessfully tried to order a portion of gyros with Metaxa sauce and fries. My conclusion: The trip from Lübeck was worth it. I'll definitely be back! 👍

I ate at your restaurant with my husband, and we found it very cozy. The ambiance was wonderful. The food was also very tasty. The only drawback was the slightly overwhelmed staff. They were very friendly, but it sometimes took a while for the orders to arrive at the table. That's something you can work on. Otherwise, keep up the good work.

Everything went well. We didn't have to wait long for the food. The service was a bit lackluster, and the drink prices were a bit too high, in my opinion.

We waited two hours for our food and were never asked if we wanted anything else. After three hours, we went upstairs to pay. We won't be coming back.

I can't say anything about the food. We had reserved a table for nine people at 6 p.m. At 6:15 p.m., there were still no tables available. Then they tried to squeeze six of us into a table for four in the middle of the aisle, with a wobbly bistro table simply placed there. We were fed up with that, and left. We've never experienced such terrible service in Hanover. It's all the more frustrating when you've had a tight schedule for the evening because you have to go straight to the night shift.

Very good gyro, friendly service. I look forward to going back every time! A little light on tzatziki, but that's certainly a matter of taste. Gluten-free options are also available. My friend with celiac disease hasn't had any problems so far. (Be careful with the dressing! The salad mayo, after consulting with the chef, contains wheat, as indicated on the allergen menu.)

We were there last Saturday with 15 people and were very impressed. The food was incredibly delicious. The price was excellent, especially considering the €20.90 menu. 10/10 Excellent service; we didn't have to wait long for anything, despite the busy place and the number of people we were there. Everything came in a timely manner; there wasn't a long wait between the starter and the main course. We highly recommend it and will definitely go back.

We were there yesterday, spontaneously, with five people, a child, and a small dog. We received a very friendly welcome. The staff was very accommodating. Every request was fulfilled. We were given a different table because of the dog in the corner, water for him, small drinks, etc. Tzatziki as a starter, delicious side salads, and incredibly beautifully presented plates. The food was more than plentiful. Absolutely top value for money! We all had to have something packed. It was wonderfully seasoned and deliciously spicy. The portion size was far too large—even for a Greek restaurant. Unfortunately, we couldn't finish half the plate. The bifteki was just as large on the grill plate as it was on the individual bifteki. The price was also almost the same. The restaurant could definitely do a better job of pricing. Otherwise, friendly service, typical good taste. The salad buffet with its delicious cheese is particularly noteworthy.

We booked a table for two at 6:00 p.m. So far, everything was great; our order was taken at 6:05 p.m. After dinner, we wanted to go to the open-air theater for a performance. We got our drinks at 6:45 p.m. Unfortunately, there was no ouzo to welcome us. Our food arrived at 7:15 p.m., which was unfortunately incorrect; a skewer was missing. I asked the waitress about this and she sent someone who had taken the food and told me to wait. My wife's food was fine. Then the waiter came after 5 minutes and said, "The skewer will be here soon." The food was delicious 😋, the Metaxa sauce was fantastic. We were full, but the waiter couldn't take the plates from the table himself; we had to hand them to him. There was no ouzo after the meal either, as has often been described here. Unfortunately, I will never find out how the skewer tasted ☹️. We then had to pay at the counter for the more expensive food we didn't get. I recommend this restaurant to everyone when it's empty, but not during events. Otherwise, it only gets bad reviews.

A very friendly welcome. However, we had to wait an hour for our food with four people. Other guests who arrived long after us already had their food. Only when we asked did things start moving. It's almost impossible to have a conversation with another 10 people in the room because it's so thinly soundproof. The staff are barely audible. The food was okay, not quite good, but okay. Overall rating: my first and last visit. 🤷

First, the positives. The staff are really very friendly and accommodating. I like the salad bar option. Unfortunately, that's about it for the positives. We both had gyros. The meat was very thickly sliced and barely crispy. It also wasn't really seasoned. It was only lightly seasoned with a few herbs, which I don't think is a typical gyro seasoning. The fries, on the other hand, were too salty. The rice was dry and didn't really taste like much. Price-wise, it was relatively expensive at just under €17 per person. A real shame.

Favorite restaurant in Eutin, returning here for the fourth year in a row on vacation. Very, very delicious dishes, huge quantities that you can't finish. The staff packs up leftovers so you can eat them for two days. Very friendly service, food came quickly. Nice salad buffet beforehand. Highly recommended.

Maybe they should adjust the opening hours and designate Monday as a day of rest....

Ellas, a traditional Greek restaurant, is located in the long curve at the entrance to Eutin's town center. We were warmly greeted with a house schnapps, the waitresses were quick, and the food was on the table in no time. The gyro was very tasty, and the portion size was decent. All in all, it was a great visit – we'll be back 👍🏼
