A nice restaurant with a great ambience. The food was very good, but the service wasn't great that evening. The two meals came very offset, which meant we basically ate separately. The service wasn't always there and sometimes didn't show up for a long time. All in all OK.

It was great again! The boss can still optimize the blue lighting 😉🤣

In terms of taste, the Bifteki was in the middle range. Unfortunately the service was very poor. I ordered a bifteki without salad and tzatziki. Additionally Metaxa sauce. To drink a glass of tap water. I was given a shot of schnapps beforehand without asking whether I wanted to drink alcohol. Even before I put it down, my “no” was ignored. The order could not be served successfully. The tap water became still water (additional cost for me). The Metaxa sauce was forgotten when the meal was served and I had to wait 5 minutes for it to be added... . When I asked for the bill, it was correspondingly disappointing. Unfortunately, the salad and tzatziki were not counted against the Metaxa sauce, but I had to pay an additional €3.50 and the full price for the bifteki. The “tap water” is just as ridiculous at a stable €3.00 for 0.2 l. Of course there was no tip from me. The employees are too insensitive for appropriate behavior in a good restaurant for my taste. Personally, I really dislike having conversations in another national language.

Not as good as before. The food still tastes good, but it has deteriorated somewhat in terms of craftsmanship, presentation and taste. Unfortunately, prices were increased at the same time. No more Greek music but more lounge music. But the worst thing was the service. The bald chain smoker was completely out of place in this atmosphere with his arrogance and the fact that he clearly has no idea about this profession. When, logically, he didn't get a tip, as is more common today with prices, he slammed the card reader on the table and left in an insulted manner. Please, dear boss, talk to your kitchen a little and fire this unqualified bald man in the service.

Today for dinner with 4 people. Restaurant more than full, loud and constantly loud, thunderous music with bass, something was reduced upon notice, it was not a good conversation to have. Greek ambience was missing. The service was a bit confused, didn't know where the food was ordered, forgot my garlic bread. For me the last visit to the Bavarian Court.

Have been to Elia several times. It was very good every time. We can only recommend it if you want to eat Greek. The beer garden is also very nice.

Unfortunately the food did not meet our expectations. The gyro pan was extremely seasoned, rather salty. The salad was, well, edible. Vinegar and oil were not served. The salmon was hard, so the cooking point was not reached. The food also came suspiciously quickly. In my opinion, the quality is not right for the prices that are quoted. Service staff weren't particularly attentive either. It's a shame, because the hotel in whose building the Elia is located is really great.

We had a wonderful evening in the Elia restaurant in a very pleasant atmosphere. We know many restaurants with Greek cuisine, Elia is definitely in the upper class. Our special vegan requests were catered for without any problem. The service was very attentive and friendly; The food came quickly even though the restaurant was quite busy. The portions are adequate, good value for money. AND the music, which played in the background at a pleasant volume, was clearly different from the usual sirtaki noise. When I asked about the music, the boss personally came to the table and sent me the playlist that same evening. Everything was perfect, absolutely recommended!

The waiter tried to rip us off twice by deliberately charging incorrect amounts. Twice! If you can't calculate €36 + €4 + €8, then you shouldn't work there or use any aids. What he deducted from my work colleague, he first calculates €27.50, then collects the €28.50 and then boldly says that it only costs €25 for her and I have to pay the rest instead of my said €48 €, in your case €49. Hit where you can...

We have been very enthusiastic about Elia so far, but the service this time was really terrible. The quality of the food is no longer as good as it was at the beginning. The size of the portions are really no longer satisfactory for the prices. Only after we asked for our main courses, over 45 minutes after the starter, were they brought. The waiter was very unfriendly, stressed, loud and didn't really listen when ordering or during the evening. Some of the food was brought incorrectly. Started strong and slowed down a lot. Really a shame. We will go somewhere else for Greek food in the future.

Very good food, best service and great ambience

I'm someone who rarely gives reviews. In this case yes. The three of us spontaneously drove past, were spoken to immediately, and were served directly. The service staff are very attentive and really provide service! The kitchen also deserves praise. Adequate time from ordering to the finished meal. Tasty to the point and recommended. Price is definitely okay. In addition to our praise, we also left a tip. This is how gastronomy works!

We ordered and picked it up ourselves. Gyros platter and bifteki. About 6 months ago we ordered several times, everything was great, very tasty. Today was really bad. Bifteki had fatty cartilage in the meat, the rice was boringly dressed, and the salad had a rancid aftertaste. The gyro was very salty. Don't know if the chef has changed since then. I can't recommend today's meal. Too bad.

Pepperoni as a starter was good and very reasonably priced. The salad with the meal had hardly any dressing, so it was a very dry salad. For dinner I had gyros and a skewer, the meat and skewer were good. Amount of meat and fries top. Service friendly.

Today we noticed that it was very stressful for the staff and the service suffered as a result. But since we have been there several times and are otherwise always completely satisfied, we will go back next time and expect the usual service.

Unfortunately we can't judge the food because after waiting for over an hour we still didn't get anything. Since we didn't want to wait any longer, we asked for the bill for the drinks and the appetizer, which we didn't have to pay.

Overall we were really very satisfied 😊 On a Saturday evening it is advisable to reserve in advance because the large beer garden was full. The service staff were really super attentive, friendly and patient. The drinks, the food and finally the bill came quite quickly. The portions are decent and the food tasted excellent. I also really liked the atmosphere, the beer garden was beautifully decorated and the toilets were also spotlessly clean. Nice, quick service, in a good restaurant atmosphere that doesn't get too loud, thanks to good space distribution and room separation. If you want a lot of meat then it would probably be 5, but I like it more balanced

Everything was delicious, whether it was a Delphi plate, a lamb shank or a starter platter. One of the best Greeks I know, and I know many. Service and staff are also top, making gastronomy fun. Keep doing exactly that.

The Wiener Schnitzel was very good and plentiful. The fries are crispy too. The Solomos Stifado was very good.

Unfortunately, the portions were too small, the wine was overpowering and the calamari was bitter. We put down a lot of money for this. To compensate, each of us was offered 2 ouzos on the house. The waiter was very attentive and the organization was good.

Seems like a pretty good Greek, have been here a few times. Food can be very cool, or - very easy for the kitchen - quick to prepare dishes that also taste good. Much better atmosphere outside in summer.

The best Greek restaurant of my life (so far). But there is no more room for improvement. I had the lamb in wine sauce. The lamb was super tender, which is rare. The sauce was thick and creamy, the wine flavor is not too dominant or bitter, but perfectly seasoned. A slight sweetness, I suspect also from the wine, rounds off the sauce and makes the dish a real treat. My companion had the gyros with souvlaki, also a dream. The gyro was crispy but not burnt, very juicy and you could taste the excellent quality of the meat. Souvlaki just like that, but without the crust. Service was also top. Very friendly, you get an ouzo before and after your meal, whether you ask or not. Food was on the table within 20 minutes. The restaurant itself is very cozy. I would give 10 stars if I could. Gladly again :)

By hectically clearing away the rest of the lettuce, the waitress spread the sauce on my trousers and T-shirt. There was a short "sorry" message; that's it ; without any compensation…. Very disappointing for a restaurant of this category!!!! Very unfortunate!!!!!!

We were at Elia for the first time a few days ago. “Man” has heard a lot of good things but also a lot of bad things. After our visit we can only say: We enjoyed it very much, the ambience was very good and the service was impeccable. We will definitely come back.

One of the best restaurants in Kempten. Ate at Elia again. As always, we received a very warm welcome, great service and excellent food. We will be back definitely.

Rarely experienced worse service! Absolutely bad-tempered waiter. Food was solid, but not outstanding. After sitting on dry land for about an hour, we left. Once and never again, definitely not recommended.

We had dinner there with the family on Saturday evening. My wife, her brother and I ate fish. And the three of us in particular are miserable today. I don't normally make predetermined decisions. But we will contact the health department tomorrow.

This was our second time in this restaurant and I was hoping that the first time the store was just having a bad day. On the first visit I got a moussaka that consisted almost 80% of pudding-like bechamel sauce and the thin layer of almost only potatoes and a hint of minced meat tasted completely like nothing. When I told the waiter that I didn't like it and that I expected something different from a moussaka, he just said that's how it should be. I was given a small bottle of wine when I left the restaurant, but I was still hungry and would have been happy to have been able to order something new. Unfortunately the service the second time left a lot to be desired. The staff was unfriendly across the board. We wanted to sit in the sun in the beer garden, where other tables were already occupied, but the waiter absolutely wanted to seat us in the shade with a wedding party. Only after asking several times that we would like to sit in the sun where other guests were sitting were we allowed to sit in the sun. Hey, why do you have to fight so hard for it? That's not customer-friendly, it gives the impression that the waiters don't want to walk the 5 meters away. We were also given the wrong drink order and when we ordered something else they just said I didn't hear that. Is that our problem? No apology from waiter... I will definitely never go to this shop again, which is a shame, because the beer garden and the restaurant are very comfortably furnished.

The restaurant overall offered a less than satisfactory experience. The food did not reach the expected quality, the service seemed inattentive and the Greek ambience was hardly noticeable. When visiting as a couple, we noticed that the meat was cooked through but cold in the middle, suggesting that it may have been reheated. The salad had an extremely acidic dressing and was not what one typically associates with a Greek salad. The rice was also disappointing as it tasted more like tomato sauce and wasn't seasoned enough. This resulted in an overall unsatisfactory dining experience.

It was really very tasty. It's well attended and also very noisy inside. The staff is on their toes, almost a little too fast. Wir lieben es hier! Dimitri ist super aufmerksam, damit es einem an nichts mangelt. Man fühlt sich einfach wie zu Hause. Beim Essen schmeckt man die Qualität, immer wieder gerne!

Liebes Elia Team, wir haben gestern Abend das erste Mal bei Ihnen lecker gegessen. Und uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Der Service top, das Ambiente und Licht sehr angenehm. Das Essen war sehr sehr lecker und fürs Auge toll angerichtet. Wir kommen gerne wieder aus Unterthingau zu Euch. Die 20 km weg sind es wert einen Abend bei Ihnen zu verbringen. 😍

Tolle traditionelle griechische Küche - sehr zu empfehlen. Wer gerne traditionelle griechische Küche mag, ist hier genau richtig. Die Speisen waren frisch und einfach nur lecker. Empfehlenswert ist es einfach mal nur Vorspeisen und davon reichlich zu bestellen. Aber auch die Hauptgerichte waren sehr geschmackvoll und gewohnt griechisch reichlich. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und strahlt die griechische Gemütlichkeit aus die man erwartet. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl und gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Dafür nochmal ein Danke an das Team vom „Elia“.

In stilvoll eingerichteten, jedoch lauten Räumlichkeiten haben wir hier die griechische Küche probiert: Dorade Royal, Bifteki, Souflaki und Baby-Calamari vom Grill, als Beilagen Tomaten- oder Spinatreis, Salat, Knoblauchcreme; zum Nachtisch Joghurt mit Honig sowie Mocca. Wir kamen zu dem Ergebnis: insgesamt durchschnittliches Essen (Luft nach oben), wobei auch zwei Personen das Essen nicht ganz so gut vertragen haben. Der neue Kellner hat uns allerdings freundlich bedient. Leider werden die Kemptner Schexs-Gutscheine nicht mehr wie beim Vorgänger akzeptiert.

Wir waren einfach nur rundum zufrieden

Richtig gutes Essen selbst die Calamaris sind selbst gemacht und on Point gegehrt. Sehr netter Service. Einrichtung auch top.
