The small sea bream with a few potatoes and a small salad bowl was too expensive at 24 euros. And I definitely didn't get full. If you then think about where you might get something else to eat, something is generally wrong. Many people have to work half a day for at least 35 euros. And then go home dissatisfied? That doesn't work.

My husband and I went there for the first time and we were not disappointed 😁. I fortified myself at the buffet, my husband ate grilled cuttlefish a la carte and said it was the best he had ever been served. Super tasty, very nice service. There is a wide selection at the buffet, which is a difficult phase for those who are undecided!!!

Nice atmosphere, fast service and very flexible!

Has little to do with Spanish food. Calmaris, cheese, breaded everything comes out of the bag. Breaded crab meat can be redefined in taste. Buffe presented carelessly. So if you don't care what you eat, you're in good hands there. Uncomfortable atmosphere. Servise was good and quick. Overall I was very disappointed. I was happy to eat Spanish again but unfortunately that was nothing.

Sorry, I can't get more than 2 stars. You walk into the restaurant and almost run into two refrigerators standing in the middle of the aisle. The whole facility seems wildly thrown together and extremely crowded. Many of the upholstery are worn and torn. This doesn't create a positive mood. My colleagues and I chose the buffet, but some of us regretted it. The dishes taste like ready-made food across the board. A colleague had yogurt for dessert, but it was even spoiled! So we won't be visiting the store again for the time being.

I actually really enjoy eating here, but the service should have been much better yesterday. Had the tapas platter El toro, almost everything was very tasty. Only with the bruschetta was the baguette completely soft and seemed untested. I told this to a young lady and asked if it was even toasted or something like that. Just said, actually, I don't know. And after I repeated again that it was too soft, all I got was a simple yes. They didn't pay any attention to what I said, instead of just asking someone else or something. No apology, nothing. Bruschetta ended up being thrown away again, such a shame! Otherwise I was always very satisfied with the service, but the lady seemed to have little enthusiasm for her job.

Food was ok, there was plenty of tappas. Quality is good, but was once better. Service was great. Preferably just 3.5 stars

Ich war total begeistert, war mit Freunden da und wir fanden es alle super. Das Personal war super geschult, was Unverträglichkeiten anging und sehr nett und witzig. Wir hatten das Buffet und es war einiges geboten. Die Dorade war der Hammer. Wir kommen definitiv wieder.

We had food from the buffet. There is a nice selection of small tapas, salads and really delicious desserts. However, I wouldn't call it a "big buffet". It was absolutely sufficient, tasty, everything was always available and fresh was often added. An absolute highlight in my opinion was the salmon. The service was really very friendly and you couldn't eat as quickly as the attentive ladies and gentlemen cleared the plates away. Always friendly and accommodating, really great. The ambience was quite nice, but it was very crowded and still reverberant and very loud. We had a lovely evening and will definitely go there more often, even to eat à la carte.

I have never experienced such a great, young and trained team. I have lactose and everyone was able to and explained to me directly what I was allowed to eat and what I wasn't. Great network, funny and accommodating. It was my first but not my last time there. Mucha Gracias para todos amigos

The “buffet” was very clear. In some cases it wasn't replenished. Maybe it's better to order ala cart. The service was good and the ambience was quite loud.

We felt like going on a Thursday to go out to eat. Gladly a buffet if that is offered. It will happen at El Toro in Minden. I'll be honest: for whatever reason, I haven't visited this restaurant in a long time. Somehow I didn't really have it on my radar. But I still remembered that it always tasted good there. The restaurant opens at 6 p.m. and from this point on you can also eat from the buffet. Arrival almost exactly 6 p.m. A friendly gentleman greets us and leads us to our table (which we had reserved in advance). That starts well. The guest rooms are attractively decorated, the lighting is subtle and pleasant. The drinks are quickly brought to the table and we express our desire to eat from the buffet. Would we like the included soup (tomato) in advance? It would be served to us at the table. We reject that and prefer to see directly whether and how we can find what we are looking for at the buffet. We will and how! To be honest, we didn't expect such an enormous selection. And I'm not giving away a secret when I say that the dishes tasted at least as good as they looked. Of course, the hot dishes are usually covered...but the boss (greetings go out) was kind enough to allow me to take a few photos of the delicacies when I asked. The covers were briefly removed for this purpose. Anyone who thinks that there really is a decent selection so far... that's not all. If requested, a portion of the day's fish would have been available for the buffet guests. In any case, one of the two types was tuna, but unfortunately I can't remember the other. At the end, guests can look forward to this incredibly delicious and rich selection of desserts. To be honest, we didn't expect that at all. If you notice one or two points on the labels on the buffalo: they were added specifically for a person with a certain food intolerance. The buffet was explained to this person in a friendly manner in advance. I've never consciously experienced a restaurant putting in so much effort. The staff in general: very friendly, very attentive, really great. For such a great achievement, five stars are actually one too few. And no, I didn't get paid anything for writing them. Go there and see for yourself. The price of €27.50 per person is absolutely fine. Clear recommendation with a high risk of repetition!

A very nice location with plenty of on-site parking. The food was very diverse and extremely tasty. We had a buffet, which was rich and very varied. Refills were also carried out regularly and very neatly. Starters, main course and also desserts of various kinds. I found the service to be very quick, very attentive and extremely friendly. My partner and I went there for the first time yesterday on a recommendation and chose the buffet and I have to say we weren't disappointed. We were warmly welcomed and shown to our table, as we had reserved one as a precaution. The buffet has a reasonable selection of hot dishes and antipasti. In addition, it was always refilled very quickly when something was empty. The service was great. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and attentive. Thumbs up and thank you very much ☺️. The ambience is very nicely designed and cozy. There was also music playing at a reasonable volume so that you could still have a normal conversation. Great value for money, we were full and found everything delicious. We definitely recommend it and will eat there again ourselves because we would like to try out the menu and the tapas. Thumbs up and keep it up 👍☺️

Wir haben spanisches Essen erwartet, das bedeutet u.a. wirklich frischer Fisch! Leider schmeckte eins wie das andere, wie bei Gefrorenem, scheinbar alles mit der gleichen Würzmischung versehen. Dazu arbeitet die Küche wohl viel mit Friteuse. Der Service war sehr freundlich. Auf unsere Nachfrage sagte man uns, der Frisch sei natürlich Frisch, nur die Calamari gäbe es zur Zeit nicht, deshalb seien die tiefgefroren. Man tauschte sie gegen ein Stück Thunfisch aus, das leider auch überwürzt war und in auffälliger dreieckiger Form. Die Geste war aber sehr nett. Am Ende gab es noch ein Kaffeegetränk nach Wunsch aufs Haus, danke dafür! Wenn ihr das Essen dem Namen anpasst, kommen wir sicher wieder.

First time at El Toro. Friends took us to this great restaurant. Service and food simply great. The five of us were greeted very friendly. After receiving the menu we chose our drinks (Estrella). We opted for the buffet meal. The waiter brought us the accompanying tomato soup and then a plate of sea bream and tuna. Delicious !!! Then we went to the buffet: dips, sauces, salads (bulgur, tomato, avocado,.....) falafel, fried shrimp, ...... At the end there was a dessert buffet with various cakes, desserts, fruit and others Sweets. Soon I will try one of the tapas plates (fish, meat, or vegetarian). The menu offers a wide selection of tapas 👍👍👍. A big compliment to the friendly staff 🥇. Next time we visit we will be outside in the beer garden ✨️

A great restaurant. I've been a regular for years and I love the tapas table buffet. The last time I had a tapas buffet was 2 months ago, and for the first time I didn't like it that much. What it was, I don't know. The food was worse but the price was 10 euros more expensive. I was very disappointed and also shocked at the price. But I would try it again because otherwise it has always been good. Last weekend I was there for the second time at the big Saturday buffet. Like the first time, it was really great. Simply delicious. I was so convinced that I wanted to write this review. I was so excited. Next time the tapas buffet isn't so good, I'll stick with the Friday or Saturday buffet. The staff is super friendly and works quickly. I have to mention one thing that I don't like at all. Sometimes the things that are empty are put away and not refilled. I've seen that twice now and I think that's a shame, especially because it happened twice with the avocado salad. And I didn't even have the chance to eat it the second time because it was almost empty when I started eating. A type of meat was also not refilled, so my partner unfortunately couldn't try it.

The food was good and plentiful, especially the tapas, and the service was friendly and very attentive despite the restaurant being full. Unfortunately the ambience is no longer as nice and due to the buffet offering it was also very crowded and loud which overall seemed very hectic. But the food was delicious and that is almost more important than the surroundings.

Were there for the buffet on Friday evening. Be sure to book a table in advance, there is great demand. Extensive tappas buffet, super nice and fast service. Dessert is a dream, gladly again!

We used the catering service and three days later everyone was still raving about the great food. The service was very accommodating. Totally recommended.

The four of us had a very nice evening there. The food was very tasty, we had lamb fillet on a hot stone at the table. The service was very attentive and friendly. Dessert delicious. It's the best Spaniard around. We'll come back and happily drive 40 minutes.

Actually a very nice restaurant, but the food/buffet has nothing to do with Spanish cuisine. It tasted delicious but e.g. For me, cauliflower in hollandaise and shrimp like at the Asian restaurant are not part of the Spanish buffet. I asked for a beer 0.0. I was then served a non-alcoholic drink (0.5) even though I specifically requested it and asked several times. Something like that shouldn't happen

Wir waren mit 6 Personen zum Buffet im El Toro. Der Service war spitze, das Buffet unschlagbar lecker und sehr reichlich. Es gibt warme und kalte Speisen und ein Dessertbuffet. Alleine das kalte Buffet ist schon den Besuch wert. Weil alles so lecker war, hatten wir kaum noch Platz für ein Dessert. Am Ende gab es noch einen Schnaps auf`s Haus. Es war alles perfekt, der Preis angemessen. Wir kommen sicher wieder.

Freundlich, gemütlich ,nette Bedienung, leckeres Essen wir würden Buffet empfehlen, hat man die Wahl verschiedene Speisen auszuprobieren und der Preis ist angemessen auch sehr lecker, würden immer wieder hingehen

Tolles spanisches Restaurant. Obwohl es super gut besucht war, wurden wir sehr schnell,freundlich und kompetent beraten und bedient. Das Buffet war super lecker, die Fleischgerichte heiß. Das Angebot war top und die Qualität der Produkte konnte man schmecken. Wir hatten einen rundum gelungenen Abend. Kommen auf alle Fälle wieder.

Wir hatten zwei Tapas-Platten bestellt (Fleisch und vegetarisch). Das Essen war nicht schlecht, hat mir aber leider überhaupt nicht geschmeckt. Irgendwie fehlt der Pfiff... Der Service und das Ambiente haben uns jedoch gefallen. Abends viele kostenlose Parkplätze an dem Restaurant.

Ein hervorragender Spanier! Das Torro ist in zwei Bereich gegliedert: Auf der einen Seite gibt es die Bar, auf der anderen Seite das Restaurant. Das Restaurant ist wirklich schön eingerichtet und hat eine sehr stimmige Atmosphäre. Die Bedienung ist schnell und zuvorkommend. Die Speisen sind wirklich hervorragend. Neben Tappas bekommt man hier auch Tellergerichte oder Platten für mehrer Personen. Die Qualität ist durchgehend spitze. Auf jeden Fall reservieren, da man sonst in der Regel keinen Platz bekommt. Die Bar ist auch gemütlich und hat im Sommer einen Außenbereich. Hier kann man auch Tappas und kleinere Speisen bekommen.

Grosse Auswahl an Essen. Hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Leider nur 3 Weine zur Auswahl. Bedienung war bezüglich Wein ahnungslos.

😊Ich (…Erzieherin mit mehr als 25 Jahren Restaurant- und Kneipen-Arbeit Erfahrung) … hatte für den 30.09.‘23 einen Tisch für unseren Mädels Abend reserviert (…habe am Telefon gleich erwähnt… das wir 6 „gackernde“ Hühner sind und Buffet essen wollen) Wir gehen 1mal im Jahr ins ElToro (6-8 Mädels zwischen 39 u, 60 Jahren) Wir können alle kochen und fanden das Buffett gestern mit, als eines der Besten!!! ✊… Dorade, Muscheln, Kabeljau und Thunfisch wurden auf Wunsch an den Tisch serviert… genauso wie die sehr geile Tomatensuppe 👍)… unsere Service Kraft Valli war immer sehr aufmerksam… hat Teller abgeräumt… gefragt, ob wir noch einen Getränke Wunsch haben… und ob alles in Ordnung sei 🫶… (…auch ihre Kollegin war sehr nett) Wie sich heraus stellte… war ihre Mama die Köchin… und meine Mädels hatten recht… bei der Wette… ob es ein Koch oder eine Köchin gibt 😉 … das Nachtisch Buffet war sehr vielfältig ✊… meine Schwester wurde gefragt… ob sie den Brownie erwärmt haben möchte… dazu Vanille Eis und Schoko Soße… wir haben „Dankend abgelehnt“… weil wir so voll gefressen waren… haben dann „nur“ Vanille Eis mit Schoki Soße und Sahne genommen… und frisch flambierten Tiramisu und Natur Joghurt mit Fruchtgrütze und Pudding, Kuchen … und Haribo und frisches Obst (…die Ananas war n bisschen sauer… aber irgendwas ist ja immer 😉)… dafür waren die Weintrauben echt leggar… (…n Schnaps hab’s zur Rechnung gratis auf‘s Haus… 🙌) Mein/Unser Fazit: 24,50 € !!! Preislich unschlagbar… und geschmacklich seeeeehhhr gut ✊ Freue mich auf‘s nächste Jahr

Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis .Wir saßen im Wintergarten ohne Reservierung . das Buffet war gut auch wenn es jetzt nicht ausschließlich typisch spanisch ist, sondern ein Mix aus mediterran bekannten leckeren Speisen . wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Die Creme catalanen würde ich allerdings nicht mehr essen. Die war mir zu wässrig

Bedienung war freundlich und hat sich gekümmert. Glutenfreie Ernährung eingeschränkt möglich das ist etwas schade ,bei so einem gut aussehenden Buffet.Der Rest unserer Truppe war sehr zufrieden.

Wir haben hier in einer größeren Runde einen sehr angenehmen Abend erlebt. Das Gericht "131 Hähnchenmedallions" kann ich persönlich empfehlen.

Alles in allem ein toller Abend, die Tapas-Karte ist mega. Leider hatten wir uns gegen a la carte und für das Buffet entschieden. Auf dem Buffet liegen hingegen eher allgemeine als die ganz besonderen Tapas, das fanden wir schade. Geschmeckt hat es trotz dessen, wir kommen daher definitiv wieder.

Seit Jahren Stammgäste, immer wieder toll

Buffett ist gut für alle die eingedeutschtes spanisches Essen mögen (Gemüse in Hollandaise finde ich da grenzwertig aber der Massengeschmack muss ja auch bedient werden) uns fehlten echte spanische Leckereien wie Meeresfrüchte und Fisch-kein Problem, es gab frisch zubereitet auf Nachfrage Garnelen und Schwertfisch ohne Aufpreis an unseren Tisch und war wirklich super-macht auch Sinn das nicht auf dem Buffet trocken werden zu lassen. Das Dessertbuffet ist umfangreich und köstlich. Es gibt für alle Geschmäcker eine reichliche Auswahl zu einem fairen Preis, der Service ist extrem aufmerksam, sehr freundlich. Insgesamt sehr! empfehlenswert, ohne Tischreservierung oft kein Platz zu bekommen-aus gutem Grund!

Wie im Titel erwähnt, war des Essen ok, aber auch kein Highlight. Bedienung und Ambiente aber mangelhaft. So haben wir nach vorheriger Reservierung zunächst einen Tisch an einem Durchgang bekommen, erst auf Nachfragen dann einen der vielen freien Tische in einem ruhigeren Bereich bekommen. Im Verlauf des Abends wechselte dann die Bedienung, und es war nicht mehr möglich durch Blickkontakt und Winken deren Aufmerksamkeit zu erlangen. Ein freundlich gemeinter Pfiff führte dann zwar bei den offenbar überforderten Kellner dazu, sich und zuzuwenden, aber man hat uns dann zunächst verbal heftig attackiert. Die Krönung schließlich kam beim Bezahlen: Bei einer Rechnung von 89€ habe ich einen 100€-Schein gegeben, und der Kellner hat zunächst den Geldschein angeschaut, dann uns, und schließlich empört die Frage gestellt, wieviel er denn abziehen solle. Da ich nur bereit war, den tatsächlichen Betrag zu zahlen, haben wir dafür Blicke erhalten, die nichts Gutes vermuten lassen. Zusammenfassend war ich hier das erste und das letzte Mal. Übrigens Corona: Ein Mitarbeiter zeichnete sich dadurch aus, das er den Mund-Nasen-Schutz penetrant nur über den Mund trug, nicht aber auch über der Nase - Ein Fall für das Gesundheitsamt?

Wir wollten eigentlich den Abend Tapas satt essen . Aber nachdem wir recht lange auf die Karte , unsere Getränke und nicht zuletzt auch die Bestellung aufgeben, warten mussten , die Bedienung einen unkoordinierten Eindruck machte , bestellten wir Tapas-Platte . Diese war offensichtlich komplett aus der Fritteuse entsprungen und nicht sonderlich hübsch angerichtet , war mal besser , geschmacklich ok , von der Menge hätte es etwas mehr sein können ! 20€ für diese Fischtapas-Platte Naja !!
