El Greco in Neusäß

It was extremely dark at the table so we could barely read the menu. The food wasn't good for the price. Veggie plate: Vegetables almost raw and hardly seasoned, certainly not with herbs or garlic, that were just put on the grill (too) briefly. 3 halves of peppers, 2 mini slices of zucchini and 1 mini slice of eggplant. Raw eggplants don't work at all! After a complaint it became a little cooked but actually not enough. Haloumi skewer is therefore almost cold and no better because it has no spices and is rubbery. Vegetarian mousaka: o.k. but by no means freshly prepared. Both dishes included farmer's salad and tzatziki. The latter is the only really good thing. The farmer's salad was o.k. but hardly dressed, unfortunately without olives. Disappointing except for the friendly service.

Had a nice evening again, nice atmosphere, friendly welcome, very good food and the service was very attentive and friendly. We would love to come back 🤗

We were there again last night for our 2nd wedding anniversary. To be honest, I don't remember how many times we were there. It's just a damn tasty meal and Mr. Kosta really sweetened our evening with his nice and friendly manner. Thank you for that!

I was here for the first time and I'm thrilled. The food was great, large portions and very tasty. The terrace is beautiful and the inside is like a dream. I've been to Greeks all over Germany but this is by far the best shop. If I have my way, you have gained a new regular customer. The waitress, Miss Nicolle, is super nice and very personable. 5 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 is honestly not enough. A little hint I missed the Greek famous dressing in the salad. But charging is absolutely recommended.

We spontaneously reserved a place by phone. (30 minutes before arrival) We were warmly welcomed and were even able to sit on the terrace. The menu is nicely laid out, with a good selection for vegetarians. There are many dishes typical of a Greek restaurant. The service was courteous and always interested in our well-being. The food is only recommended. All of our starters and main courses were freshly prepared and incredibly tasty. All in all one of the best visits to a Greek restaurant.

We made a reservation for a birthday and it was really worth it. Beautifully decorated table and also a present (bottle of wine to take home) for the birthday child. The service was excellent, very friendly and accommodating, the food came really quickly and was really good and plentiful. The price was around €30 per person (main course+dessert+drinks). 5⭐

Best Greek in the universe. We have been regular guests at El Greco for years and have never had anything to complain about. The food is fantastic to gigantic. Ich war gestern mit meiner Frau wieder mal im El Greco in Steppach Leute. Ich kann euch nur eins sagen wenn ihr Essen mit guter Qualität tollem Service absolut spitzen Speisen und Getränken genießen wollt, müsst ihr dort hingehen. Der Spiro ist ein sehr guter Gastgeber macht immer wieder Spaß und man kann den Abend wirklich genießen, es wird auch jegliche Wünsche eingegangen und promt reagiert. Probiert es einfach mal aus. Eine absolute Empfehlung, dass seines gleichen sucht

We had the fantastic Salamina plate with baby calamari and shrimp skewers, fries or rice and each salad and a very good cocktail sauce. The alcohol-free aperitif Spulma is also recommended. Not to mention the excellent service. All around a great dinner. Gladly again.

Our favorite Greek ever since it was created. Here even the boss Spiro is always on site and takes care of everything. You always feel warmly welcome and the appetizer platter is amazing, but all the other food is also absolutely delicious. An absolute insider tip for Greek food for decades. Ambience is indescribably beautiful. Map is not too big and not too small. There is something for every taste including a side for vegetarians. Service and operation exemplary. It wasn't the first time and definitely not the last time.

The culinary offerings are nothing short of excellent and the ambience is extremely inviting. What catches the eye negatively, however, is the “interesting” pricing policy. An increase of up to 70% over a period of 7 years for some dishes on the premise of ever smaller portions of the dishes I often eat does not seem to be justified, even taking inflation and the increase in various additional costs into account. The suspicion arises that the increases in question only serve to optimize the profit margin. Nevertheless, the location is probably one of the best of its kind in a wide area, which is why a visit is still recommended, even if it puts a significant strain on your wallet.

So the food is really good and the service, but to be honest, charging €19 for a schnitzel is way over the top just because it wasn't a children's portion. I've always enjoyed going there, but let's see what the future brings.

Zucchini chips - do not recommend. The seafood and meat tasted like grill and nothing else. The shrimp and potatoes - recommend. The staff was very accommodating.

Our favorite Greek restaurant in Augsburg and the surrounding area. Very tasty food of really good quality. Super friendly staff and a great ambience in the restaurant and in the small garden in summer. You always feel welcome. Card payment is possible, including by credit card. Tables can also be reserved online.

Unfortunately the meat was very dry. I also found it really impressive that we had 3 slices of Obergine as a starter for just under €8. But the service was very nice. The reaction to the complaint was also great. We only complained about the dry meat when it was cleared away. We were still offered to bring us a new one. The restaurant is very nice. However, it was super busy and the tables are very close to each other.

It's certainly not the shortest route from Friedberg to Neusäß, but I have to say it was worth it. Starting with the ambience, the always completely freshly set table, the really clean toilet... The absolute highlight, however, is the staff, who were always incredibly friendly and courteous and were never at a loss for a joke. And of course the most important thing, the food... there's not much to say here other than a really honest THANK YOU to the excellent cuisine. We'd love to come back.

Von außen ist das griechische Restaurant "El Greco" unscheinbar. Wenn man die Treppe in den Keller hinuntersteigt, findet man sich in einem gemütlichen und modern eingerichteten Gastraum wieder. Wir wurden freundlich begrüßt und zu unserem Platz gebracht. Die Speisekarte bietet eine große Auswahl an griechischen Spezialitäten. Wir entschieden uns für den Mykonosteller mit Gyros, Souflaki und Souzuki sowie Paprika-Reis und Tzatziki. Das Essen kam schnell und war ausgezeichnet. Das Fleisch war zart und mit einem schönen Grillaroma. Es war offensichtlich, dass hier auf Tiefkühlware verzichtet wird. Die Preise sind aufgrund der allgemeinen Preissteigerungen gehoben, aber immer noch angemessen. Der Mykonosteller kostete etwa 23 Euro. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Sie haben öfter nachgefragt, ob alles in Ordnung ist. Insgesamt hatten wir einen sehr angenehmen Abend im "El Greco" und können das Restaurant uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Gutes Essen, gemütliches Ambiente und ein guter Service

Ich habe wie immer die warme Vorspeisenplatte bestellt und habe erst mal ganz blöde gekuckt, sie ist die Hälfte kleiner so wie ich es sonst kannte, darüber war ich echt geschockt(für den Preis). Essen war wie immer lecker. Wollten zum Schluss noch eine Flasche Wasser haben,die haben wir dann nicht bekommen weil wir gehen mussten,weil wir online reserviert haben. So etwas ist halt sehr ärgerlich, da wir irgendwie wie raus geschmissen wurden und sich gleich die Tischnachbarn alle umgedreht haben. Schade

Wir haben uns zu zweit für die gemischte Tischplatte entschieden. Die Platte war ansprechend angerichtet und sehr lecker. Von der Menge genau richtig für zwei Personen, nicht zu viel, nicht zu wenig. Der Kellner war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, was einem sofort das Gefühl gab gut aufgehoben zu sein. Die Preise sind - wie überall in den Restaurants - etwas gestiegen, dafür stimmt aber die Qualität. Wir hatten einen schönen Abend und kommen gern immer wieder :-) Danke!

TOP Location - nur zu empfehlen... Speisenauswahl und Getränkeauswahl lässt keine Wünsche offen. Wir hatten eine kalte Vorspeisenplatte, Korfu Teller, Apollon Teller und Athen Teller und waren alle begeistert. Abgerundet wurde dieser Abend durch das aufmerksame und stets präsente, sehr höfliche Personal des Lokals. Ich habe das Restaurant inzwischen 3-mal besucht und ich war jedes Mal stets zufrieden. Mit meinem Partner war ich 2-mal zum Jahrestag dort und 1-mal zum Geburtstag. Das Essen ist ein Traum und ich kann, sofern man Tintenfische mag, den Athen Teller wärmstens empfehlen. Neben gebackenen Tintenfischen ist ebenfalls eine gute Portion Gyros mit einem sehr leckeren Tsatsiki und auch ein herrlich schmeckendrr Reis auf dem Teller. Bei den Vorspeisen ist die gemischte warm&kalt Platte sehr sehr gut. Mit 4 verschiedenen Aufstrichen, Pita Brot, 2 fritierten Aubergienen-Scheiben, sowie gehobelte und fritierte Zucchiini und zum Schluss noch einer mit Feta gefüllten Blätterteigtasche ist die Platte so voll und auch unglaublich lecker, dass wir den Teller fast geschleckt sauber wieder zurück geben, da es so ein Traum ist. Der Service ist fehlerlos. Als wir angegeben haben, dass es sich bei der Reservierung um einen Jahrestag handelt, wurde unser Tisch sehr lieb mit zwei Rosen im Glas bekoriert, es kam immer wieder die überaus nette Bedienung vorbei und fragte ob wir etwas bräuchten, ob es schmecke und ob wir bei der Vorspeise noch etwas Brot benötigten. Deko sowie das Nachfüllen wurden ohne Aufpreis verrechnet, dafür gab es von uns ein gutes Trinkgeld. Großes Lob an die Bedienung Frau Luisa, uns hat der Abend sehr gefallen. Der Chef geht ebenfalls immer wieder mal rum und erkundigt sich bei allen Gästen, ob es schmecke. Hut ab vor dem Service und ein riesen Lob an den Koch bzw die Köche, das Essen ist der Hammer! Das einzige Manko, dass wir haben ist mit dem Tisch. Wir sind Beide relativ groß und mit dem Standbein des Tisches ist es etwas schwierig die Beine unterzubringen. Wobei wir für uns sagen, dass das bei dem Essen und dem Service kein Hinderniss ist und wir uns gerne mit arrangieren. Mit dem Parken ist es auch etwas schwierig, da die Parkplätze hinter dem Haus nicht ausreichend sind, vorne an der Straße sind aber ebenfalls kostenlose Parkplätze und in den Wohnvierteln findet man auch noch immer einen Parkplatz. Wir haben damit aber kein Problem da wir in Steppach eine Wohnung haben und auch ohne Probleme dort hinlaufen können.

Mega gutes Essen. Sehr freundlicher und aufmerksamer Service. Tolles Ambiente, vor allem im Sommer im Außenbereich fühlt man sich wie im Urlaub. Sehr netter Inhaber. Bester Grieche in und um Augsburg.

Auch nach 12 Jahren komme ich immer noch unglaublich gerne in dieses Restaurant! Der Service und der Chef schaffen es, jeden Gast sich willkommen fühlen zu lassen und wertgeschätzt. Wir hatten an Weichnachten spontan ein neues Restaurant gesucht, nachdem wir in dem ursprünglich geplanten nicht bedient wurden nach 45 Minuten Wartezeit. Bei El Greco wurden wir SoFORT bedient, die Speisen kamen schnell und schmeckten mehr als gut!!! Die Bedienung (Tochter des Chefs) war zuvorkommend, kommunikativ, so lieb zu unserer Tochter und hat uns sogar empfohlen einen kleinen statt großen Salat zu nehmen, da wir schon so viel Vorspeisen bestellt hatten. Also nichts mit Profit um jeden Preis! Das Personal zieht sich weiße Handschuhe an, wenn das Besteck gebracht wird, es wird nachgefragt ob alles gut ist (vom Chef auch, der hier mithilft und Teil des Teams ist).
