Waren schön öfter dort, essen schmeckt hervorragend und Service ist sehr sympathisch

Mit Abstand der beste Grieche in und um Augsburg herum! Ich habe meinen Geburtstag dort gefeiert und habe mich sofort in das Ambiente verliebt. Wie wunderschön will ein Restaurant bitte sein? Wow! Das Essen war absolut perfekt und die Mitarbeiter super freundlich. Ein riesen Lob von mir! Ich war sprachlos und bin es immernoch. Bleiben Sie bitte so wie Sie alle sind, ich kann mich nur nochmal bedanken, vorallem auch an die Küche! :-)

Liebes Team vom Restaurant El Greco, ich war vor ca. 3 Wochen das erste Mal bei Euch und sofort begeistert. Das Essen ist super lecker, der Service mega aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Auch kleine Änderungen sowie "Kundenwünsche" werden nach besten Kräften berücksichtigt/umgesetzt. Vielen lieben Dank für den schönen Abend, das leckere Essen sowie den neuen "Lieblingsgriechen".

Das Restaurant hat ein besonders schönes und stilvolles Ambiente. Die Bedienung ist freundlich. Einen Stern ziehe ich wegen des Preises ab: Lachs mit Gemüse (4 kleine Stücke) und Wasser kosten 30,50 Euro. Das finde ich zu teuer.

Ich liebe die griechische Kulinakrik und habe mich zum 30. Geburtstag entschieden, endlich mal zum lokalen Griechen zu gehen. Saß essen ist hervorragend, der Service erstklassig (unser Kellner war sehr aufmerksam, locker und hatte eine feinen Humor). Ich war mit meinen Schwiegereltern und meinem Partner hier. Alle waren sehr zufrieden. Das dessert wurde anlässlich meines Geburtstags mit einer kleinen Fontäne serviert und ein griechischer Wein wurde mir noch dazu geschenkt. Das Ambiente ist wie gesagt romantisch, gemütlich und gibt einem dennoch das Gefühl bei Freunden zu sein. Da lohnt sich jede Reservierung 🥰 Danke an diesen tollen Abend an das gesamte Team ❤️ Σας ευχαριστώ

Ein gemütliches Restaurant mit tollem Ambiente und sehr leckerem Essen. Ich war seit 2019 schon mehrmals hier und mir hat immer alles gefallen – von den Vorspeisen bis zum Dessert. Der Service ist schnell und freundlich. Die Preise sind durchschnittlich; für Hauptgericht, Dessert, Kaffee und Cocktail habe ich zuletzt (April 2026) etwa 40–45 Euro pro Person bezahlt. Es gibt Tische für jede Gruppengröße, aber eine Reservierung ist empfehlenswert.

Die Qualität ist konstant exzellent, das Personal super freundlich und die Atmosphäre einfach perfekt. Ein echtes Juwel – absolut empfehlenswert!

Meine Schwester und ich waren am gestrigen Abend gegen 19:30 Uhr 10.02.2026 Spontan ohne Reservierung da. Wir wurden sehr herzlich und absolut professionell empfangen, uns wurden sogar zwei Tische zu Wahl gelassen. Wir wurden sehr ausführlich liebevoll beraten. Als serviert wurde war es sowohl ein sehr angenehmes Geruchs Erlebnis ganz zu schweigen vom Mega Geschmack und anrichten.! Ganz großen Respekt und Ein herzliches Dankeschön an das gesamte Team Service/ Küche.!!! Bis zum nächsten Mal.!!!!

Ich dachte eigentlich ich wäre bisher schon beim besten griechischen Restaurant, bis heute... Das Essen hier ist mega klasse. Sehr, sehr lecker und aromatisch. Dazu ein top Service und ein schönes Ambiente. Einzig die Parkplätze sind mitten in Steppach etwas rar, wenn die ausgewiesen Plätze vom Restaurant schon belegt sind. Aber dann muss man halt ein paar Meter laufen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder 😀 Und unbedingt vorher reservieren, geht auch online 👍

We ate at El Greco two days ago and it was once again outstanding. The food was incredibly delicious, fresh, and expertly prepared. The service, as always, was attentive, friendly, and welcoming. Add to that a wonderful, cozy atmosphere where you immediately feel at ease. We will definitely be back and can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant.

As always, very delicious, very friendly staff, very nice and clean atmosphere, and the owner, Spio, personally greets his guests. Only downside... there was no delicious ouzo after the meal ;-)

The service and friendliness at the restaurant are very good and deserve special mention. The ambiance is good, especially for a basement restaurant. The food, considering the price and comparable quality, has room for improvement. The lamb platter for €28.90 was average and came with one side dish. The grilled baby calamari were undercooked and still had a jelly-like consistency and were tough. The salad was good. The Onassis platter was good, but too expensive for what it offered.

I loved everything about our experience here. We went right when they opened hoping to sneak in because reviews said you need a reservation and we did not have one. They said yes as long as we could be out by a certain time. We were so grateful and it was plenty of time to get in and out. They seated our family of five and got us a baby chair. They were so courteous and happy to speak English with us. The menu was only in German and google translate didn’t do a great job so we just guessed at some menu items. The food was delicious and they had a good kids menu. Great prices and excellent service. I would go back again!

Truly world-class service – our second visit and it's even better than before. The menu offers a wide selection for meat and fish lovers. I've never had such good tzatziki. Gyros like you'd find at any other Greek restaurant. The waiter was very courteous, attentive, and friendly. The ambiance seemed dark to me on my first visit. Either it's changed or I'm remembering it incorrectly. Highly recommended!

Super friendly service, delicious food, and plenty of it. You definitely get your money's worth, and the atmosphere is amazing. It's in the basement, but with the painted canvas, you're transported to Greece. Simply fantastic! We always come to Spiro's for birthdays, and they even give us a little something extra. El Greco in Neusäß is the best Greek restaurant I know! 🇬🇷 I've traveled extensively in North Rhine-Westphalia and tried quite a few Greek restaurants, but none of them compare to El Greco. The food is always top-notch, and the atmosphere is incredibly cozy – almost like a little world of its own. The staff are friendly and cheerful, and the owner is so welcoming that you immediately feel at home. I've been there 6-7 times, and it's been absolutely fantastic every single time! 👌

I celebrated my birthday at this wonderful restaurant on Sunday (October 19, 2025), and it was simply perfect! The food was – as always – outstanding, the table decorations were very chic, the ambiance, as always, very stylish and cozy, and the service was top-notch all around 👌🏻 The entire team was extremely polite and attentive, and my guests (many of whom were here for the first time) were also thrilled 😊 Everyone felt very comfortable 🥰 (which was very important to me personally). A big thank you also to the chef, who was incredibly friendly as always ♥️ After a break of several years, it was great to be back here – and I can only say: It was the best decision! Absolutely recommend it! 👏🍷🍽️

A truly delicious Greek restaurant in Augsburg – for us, it's even worth the 20-minute drive! 😊 I was particularly pleasantly surprised by the wide variety of vegetarian options, which is rare in Greek restaurants. The veggies were a lil not enough cooked and some people complaint about sour (too much lemon) sauces. Chocolate desert is great. Overall, 5 star!!

The food was delicious and served quickly, even though the place was busy. There's also a good selection for vegetarians. The service was very friendly and attentive. The interior is exceptional – all the walls and ceilings are beautifully painted, which impressed me. However, it's located in the basement, so there's no natural light. However, the noise level in the room was a bit annoying due to the many guests. We had to speak quite loudly to be heard by the people across the room, which is one star less for that. Parking is scarce on-site, so we had to park a bit further away. In summary – recommended.

From the very first moment, you feel welcome: a warm welcome, lovingly set tables, and an atmosphere that transports you straight to the Mediterranean for a few hours. The food? An absolute revelation! The appetizer platter was a poem – homemade tzatziki, spicy dolmadakia, perfectly fried calamari. For my main course, I had the grilled lamb fillet – tender as butter, aromatically seasoned, and grilled to perfection. It was served with fresh pita bread and a crisp salad with authentic Greek feta. What I particularly liked: the attention to detail. Everything tastes homemade, freshly prepared, and served with a lot of heart. The service was also outstanding – attentive, friendly, and with a genuine passion for good food. I'm thrilled and will definitely be back. If you love Greek food or are simply looking for an authentic escape from everyday life, this is the place for you. 5 out of 5 stars – and if I could, I'd give it even more!

This was our first time there and certainly won't be our last. As we descend into the cellar, we are greeted by the cozy ambiance and good vibe. The food came quickly without a long wait, and what can I say? We had the fish platter for two people and it was amazing. The service was friendly and quick, and the chef helped out and spread a good mood despite the place being full. A perfect evening.

A bomb, not a place. The food is top-notch, the atmosphere is warm, the music is on point. But the main thing is the people. Especially the waiter Kosta. He is not just a person who brings food. He is a person who feels the guests. He knows the menu like the back of his hand, but most importantly, he knows how to listen and advise as if you were visiting an old friend. My father, who has lived and seen, said: "I have never met such a warm and professional waiter in Germany." And I completely agree with him.

El Greco is my absolute favorite restaurant for Greek food in Augsburg. The restaurant is small, but the atmosphere is wonderful. You're immersed in a little piece of Greek culture. The service is always friendly and very informal. The food tastes delicious every time. I recommend everyone to spend at least one evening at El Greco and let themselves be enchanted.
