Beste Pizza überhaupt, auch mit Dinkelteig möglich. Zudem haben sie auch über Mittag und nicht nur Abends geöffnet. Bestellungen zur Abholung sind bereits nach 15 bis 20 Minuten abholbereit. Das Personal ist super freundlich. Holen nur hier Pizza! Eis ist auch richtig lecker! Da kann man nicht genug davon bekommen. Immer wieder gerne!

Man merkt sofort, mit wie viel Leidenschaft hier gearbeitet wird. Das Essen ist jedes Mal hervorragend frische Zutaten, perfekte Pizza und auch die anderen Gerichte sind absolut empfehlenswert. Sie bieten auch Catering, sowie Eis an. Geschmack, Qualität und Service stimmen hier einfach zu 100 %. Wer authentische italienische Küche und eine familiäre Atmosphäre schätzt, ist bei der Pizzeria Gazzola genau richtig. Bestes Eis ever und das schon seit Jahrzehnten. Ich bin mit diesem leckeren Eis aufgewachsen und es hat sich über die Generation nichts geändert. Beste Qualität und Geschmack. Auch die Speisen und Getränken im Restaurant sind superlecker, grandiose Pizza mit tollem Teig und viel Belag. Schöne überdachte Terrasse man sitzt gemütlich und geschützt, wir wurden sehr schnell bedient, der Service war sehr freundlich, ein kleiner Fehler wurde von selbst bemerkt und sofort korrigiert, sehr aufmerksam👍 Wir werden gerne wieder zum Essen kommen, es gibt auch tolle erfrischende Drinks für die heißen Tage 😉 Ich kann das Gesamtpaket nur empfehlen und hoffe, daß Mering nie wieder auf Euch verzichten muss!!!!!! Ich bin absolut begeistert! Die Pizza war frisch, perfekt gebacken und mit hochwertigen Zutaten belegt. Der Teig war schön knusprig und gleichzeitig angenehm luftig – einfach köstlich. Auch die Pasta und die Salate waren hervorragend. Das Personal war unglaublich freundlich, aufmerksam und herzlich. Man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen. Das Restaurant ist sauber, gemütlich und hat eine angenehme Atmosphäre. Für mich definitiv eine der besten Pizzerien. Ich komme sehr gerne wieder und kann sie jedem wärmstens empfehlen!

Das Essen ist OK bis schlecht. Ich bestelle oft Spaghetti Bollognese. Und oft ist es sehr gut. Aber OFT SCHMECKT ES UND RIECHT ES NACH KÄSE. ICH WILL ES DANN EINFACH NICHT MEHR ESSEN, weil ich Käse hasse. Ich kann es einfach nicht ausstehen und gut verdauen. Und dann wären meine 10 EURO einfach verschwendet. Bitte achten SIe in Zukunft darauf, darauf zu achten. ;-;

Die Atmosphäre in der Küche ist unhygienisch, aber die Kellner sind freundlich. Das Essen ist in Ordnung.

03.06.2018 Das Eis ist ok. Bei 1-2 Kugeln gibt's die billige Waffel. Erst ab 3 Kugeln gibt's die leckere knusprige Waffel. Leider war der Eisportionierer nicht ganz sauber und so hat das Kinderreis anfangs etwas nach Kaffee-Eis geschmeckt... vermutlich von der Vorsorte. Schade ist die Lage. Wir waren bei der Eispizzeria Gazzola in Mering und waren rundum begeistert. Das Essen war hervorragend, frisch und sehr lecker, und auch die Bedienung hat uns sofort überzeugt: humorvoll, sehr kompetent und dazu noch ausgesprochen schnell. Man merkt, dass hier mit Erfahrung und Herz gearbeitet wird. Absolut empfehlenswert – wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Früher in der Nachbarschaft, heute für mich in der Ferne - aber wenn ich die Gelegenheit habe, dann bin ich hier immer noch sehr gerne. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und auch wenn man Mittags mal alleine im Restaurant sitzt, fühlt man sich nicht beobachtet. Die Qualität des Essens ist top, egal ob im Restaurant oder zum Mitnehmen (gilt im Übrigen auch für das Eis). In der neuen Heimat hab ich bisher noch keinen würdigen Ersatz gefunden. Das Restaurant ist sehr schön eingerichtet und im Sommer bekommt man evtl. mit ein bisschen Wartezeit ein Platz auf der Terrasse. @Team Gazzola: macht weiter so !

Waren gestern Abend recht spontan hier. Haben noch einen Tisch zu fünft bekommen für 2 Stunden. Sehr nett, dass wir da reingequetscht werden konnten. Es gibt nichts negatives zu sagen. Der Service war prompt und zuvorkommend, das Essen (Pizza und Pasta sowie Lasagne) sehr lecker und gut zubereitet. Das ganze zu einem mehr als fairen Preis!

Tolles Essen, preisleistung überdurchschnittlich gut! Hier bekommt man eine Vorspeisenplatte die nicht nur mit dem Günstigsten voll gemacht wird. Die Pizza ist luftig, locker die Pasta liebevoll angerichtet. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam!

Das Essen war super lecker und sehr schön angerichtet. Wir hatten gemischte Vorspeisenplatten, die allen geschmeckt haben. Dann hat jeder entweder Pizza, Pinsa oder Pasta bestellt. Ich hatte eine Pizza, die wirklich sehr gut war. Ich hatte lange keine Pizza mehr mit so leckerem, fluffigem, aber auch knusprigem Teig. Allein wegen der Pizza kann ich absolut empfehlen, hier zu essen. Die Kellner waren alle sehr nett und geduldig mit den Kindern, die bei unserer Gruppe dabei waren.

We were there for dinner and ice cream. My meal was a galzone with spicy salami and anchovies. The anchovies were missing. When I asked the waitress about it, he asked the kitchen and then apologized for forgetting the anchovies. Also, (the galzone was very filling) it was cold in the thick part. The ice cream was great, as always; I would give it 5 🌟. My wife and daughter were all fine.

The waiters are bored and forget to serve. I left after half an hour without any ice cream. It's a shame for the restaurant.

We went there for ice cream today and were absolutely thrilled again. The ice cream is delicious and the value for money is excellent. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. We were greeted politely and served with a smile. The service was quick and attentive. Highly recommended.

We were there last night and were immediately asked three times what we wanted to eat. After we ordered and the food arrived, the service was over. We waited forever until we got another drink. The staff only went outside to smoke, not to serve, because it was raining. The tables weren't cleared. Every table was covered with dirty dishes. We put our plates away ourselves. Half an hour after we finished eating, no one came. We had to call someone outside to pay. We had pinsa and spaghetti, which were edible, but not good.

Great Italian cuisine and good ice cream. Great Neapolitan pizza.

We eat here regularly or pick up something spontaneously. The pizzas are really good value, and the staff is very friendly. We've even ordered food for larger buffets here for parties and have always been satisfied! Unfortunately, we noticed that the quality of the food varies somewhat from time to time—at least when it comes to the pizzas. All in all, though, it's a good place for Italian food in Mering, Merching, and the surrounding area.

The ice cream I ate with my girlfriend at the ice cream parlor in Mering was very good. Unfortunately, the courtesy towards the customers leaves a lot to be desired. Even though I'm not a regular, I can expect a greeting from the owner.

I love pizza, especially the pizza from Pizzeria Gazzola. It's in my personal top 3, and I've tried many, both in Germany and Italy. The dough is the most important thing in a pizza, and Gazzola's is sensational!

Everyone gets two chances. I've now eaten there twice, each time with a group (15 & 7 pax). Unfortunately, both times the process is the same and the same dilemma: the service comes late and the waiting time is correspondingly long. The kitchen is also unable to deliver the food ordered at the same time or at least very promptly. The first time in the large group, the first ones had already finished eating a good quarter of an hour before the last ones even got their food; Now in the smaller group, first part of a meal came, then after a short time some again and then the rest. The service is simply the same. The atmosphere is modern, chic. It's very loud and cramped inside. What should be highlighted very positively is the excellent cuisine, fresh ingredients and so far every dish has been very well balanced and tasty. Some of the best pizzas I know. The food is worth the price. Previous note: The ice cream is not bad, but nothing special either, but the scoop is expensive at €2. Addition: 03/2025 Ice cream scoop costs €1.70, it not only looks delicious, it is delicious too.

We can only recommend this pizzeria! You will be welcomed and served very friendly. The food was really excellent. And the atmosphere is comfortable. The tiny drawback is that the background noise is relatively loud, but that doesn't detract from the overall rating. Our conclusion: we will be very happy to come back.

I was in the restaurant for the first time after the renovation and was very satisfied. The starters were very tasty and beautifully prepared, and I think the pizza is the best in Mering. And especially when it comes to pizzas, the value for money is really good.

Tastes good, but extremely fatty. We ordered 3 pizzas to pick up today. Two of them were with salami and garlic. The pizzas were soaked in oil and unfortunately we didn't notice any garlic. The salami also had a strange color, it was grayish on the edge... The taste of the pizza was OK, but the appearance of the salami and the enormous amount of fat significantly diminished the enjoyment.

Wir waren zum zweiten mal mit Freunden insgesamt 8 Personen. So was von super lecker! Wir hatten vorbestellt Pasta aus der Parmesan Form mit Trüffel. Hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen.

A very pleasant discovery!!! A mix of Italian cultures very well put together, congratulations Davide!!! As soon as we entered we were greeted by a wonderful scent of truffles, and by a beautiful girl who immediately accompanied us to our table. The pizza is simply exceptional, enchanting tuna tartare, first and second courses of excellent execution. The fried fish, never greasy, is simple and appreciated. The choice of raw materials is excellent, never banal, such as the quality of the meat and seafood (finally mussels and clams!!!). The service is always attentive, and the rooms are as well looked after as they are clean. Absolutely reasonable bill for what was consumed. Thank you, we will definitely be back.

After the renovation, the pizza recipe was slightly changed. Kind of like a cloud pizza. Super delicious, airy dough with a raised edge. The pizzas are amazing! Staff very friendly and competent. Prices are completely humane. Ambiance very cozy. Highly recommended!

Mussels not edible (see photo). The service staff said it wasn't good. No reaction. After an hour of waiting, ice cream was brought from the front of the ice cream parlor and was liquid. Afterwards the boss was rude and made unfriendly excuses. This is not how you trade guests. Mistakes can happen, but then blaming the guests is really not okay. Really sad.

A year ago I would have said that the best pizza in Mering and the surrounding area was good value for money and the pizza was brilliant. After hearing bad things from other people, I realized last night that unfortunately everything has changed. The pizza has a good edge, but the inside is completely soggy. The topping was cold and apparently added to the pizza as an afterthought. Including mushrooms! We had to complain about the pasta dish we received. Afterwards we almost had some quiet pasta. The visitors at the next table were also very dissatisfied. Please change again and become like he was. I would love to come back as I have been a regular at your ice cream parlor and later also in the restaurant for around 20 years.

What we experienced there is hard to believe. The salad is served with your finger in the food. The main course was ok. The hammer came for dessert, the tiramisu was frozen upon request, it was taken away again the second time it was still frozen and the only answer was that it doesn't exist. It's been in the microwave twice now??? Not recommended

We had a very good dinner. Both the pizza with Parma ham, the spaghetti Aglio e Olio and the bruschetta were delicious. We were particularly pleasantly surprised by the fair prices. The service staff is friendly and attentive. We were able to get a table for two + baby in the full outdoor area. Unfortunately, some guests were out of luck, although the service staff did their best to seat as many guests as possible. The ice cream tastes delicious, the scoops could be a little larger, even if the price per scoop is €1.50, below the regional average. We also enjoyed the iced coffee. Unfortunately, we didn't like the ambience outside. In the afternoon (in summer) you sit under the corrugated plexiglass like in a sauna. It was more pleasant in the evening, but you still eat at plastic tables. The tables & chairs don't match the otherwise chic look with black fabric-like napkins etc.

Wieder einmal bei Gazzola zum Essen. Es ist immer noch sehr gut aber leider diesmal nur 4 Punkte. Das Vitello Tonato ist nicht mehr so gut, dafür wird es optisch moderner serviert. Zuviel Ruccala auf der Steinplatte und Sossenkleckse wie aus der Tube. Fritto Misto und Lasagne sehr gut. Die Pizza am Rand etwas verbrannt. Trotz allem weiterhin Top Essen!.

The renovation of the restaurant was very successful. Congratulations. There is nothing outside. Bare tables. What a contrast to the restaurant inside. The food: Cotoletta alla milanese The cotoletta was raw on the inside and was unusually bedded on a rocket salad. I ordered fries as a side dish, which came to the table already lukewarm. So the service took the Cotoletta back and brought me a new one. Which was also dry and completely tasteless, but not raw. Of course my fries were cold at that time and I didn't get any new ones. Pizza Magerita was also very interesting, 90% of it was missing the tomato sauce. There were 5 of us and no one was happy, we were also the only guests. We will 100% not come again. When I go to a restaurant and spend money, I expect to get something in return. That is my right! That was 100% not the case here.

The food was great as always, the service was only good from one lady. The other one is, as usual, not so good. But the food and the price make up for it.

So, it was our first time there to eat. The staff is super friendly. Eating is difficult. The vitello was the best we had eaten so far. Unfortunately, the pizza takes some getting used to. A huge edge and the middle soggy. My chop was good. The garden itself is unfortunately not very well maintained. So please everyone find out for yourself. We'll eat noodles next time 🍜 😁👍
