Efes Kebap in Cottbus

Over the past three years, I've been going to Efes on and off. For a long time, it was the best doner kebab in Cottbus for me. Unfortunately, I've now had two really subpar doner kebabs in a row. Too few toppings, the salad a bit stale, the meat somehow cold—overall, just not good. I hope you'll improve. Right now, I can't give it more than three stars.

A very good kebab. Prices are also very reasonable. A large XXL doner for 7.50 euros, a beer 2 euros. I definitely recommend it.

Everything is way too greasy there, the sauces are mixed in large buckets but the buckets are never cleaned

The food is truly delicious and always prepared quickly. The portions could sometimes be a bit larger, as the toppings are occasionally a bit lacking. The drinks selection is excellent, and the shelves are always well-stocked. The outdoor terrace is particularly nice, offering a cozy atmosphere, especially in the evening. The location is also top-notch and invites you to linger. Overall, a highly recommended kebab shop, where the price-performance ratio could be a bit better.

A surcharge of 50 cents is charged for card payments. This has been illegal in Germany since 2018! I didn't receive a receipt either. Please be aware of this and report similar behavior immediately; I did so immediately!

Since I lived in Cottbus in 2008, Efes Döner has definitely been one of the best in the region. The sauces taste excellent, the meat is of good quality, and the portions are also good for the money.

Card payment starting at 10 euros, got money, asked why, aggressive behavior from an "employee," who didn't want to sell me anything else. Another very nice employee then sold me something else. Asking for a receipt triggered a major meltdown. Luckily, while Lausitz Park doesn't serve late-night food, it's 1000 percent recommendable for both taste and tax purposes. The aforementioned Efes Döner: as long as you keep your mouth shut and don't ask questions in the evening, you're always "my friend." Dishonest behavior, and everything done for the masses. Customs, the regulatory office, and other authorities have been informed.

Best kebab in town. Fast, tasty, and friendly service. Unfortunately, card payments are only accepted for €10 or more. Parking is a matter of luck.

It's always the same thing: out of 10 orders, 8 are ignored. I've heard this from others a lot, too. Every time, there's something in there that shouldn't have been there or wasn't ordered, and then you even get accused of not saying it correctly. Just listen properly. That's it for me; at some point, it's enough.

Very tasty thick kebab, in my opinion chicken meat is better than lamb meat (ball of power) but the whole thing deserves 5*, delicate crispy roll, fresh vegetables to choose from according to your preferences.

The doner is so tasty and we eat it

I've been living alternately in Bavaria and Italy for many years and wanted to eat a really good kebab again - with real flatbread, but vegetarian. This kebab absolutely met my expectations: super fresh, crisp salads, the bread and sauces were perfectly seasoned, and the halloumi was really tasty! Despite the large crowds, the employees were in a good mood, friendly and overall quite well organized. The only small negative point: The ambience could be better - unfortunately the rubber tree looked sad, it doesn't like a draft right by the window and the toilets urgently need renovation. But the taste of the kebab was perfectly delicious! Definitely again!

Mega unfriendly to questions, you only get an answer after the third time.

About a month ago, I ordered a doner kebab for me and my girlfriend from a seemingly new employee. We both had diarrhea for two weeks afterward and ended up in the emergency room. Diagnosis: acute gastroenteritis. The doner kebab bread was touched from the inside with the fingers without wearing any gloves. Furthermore, the employee had previously accepted money and then prepared the doner kebab WITHOUT washing his hands. I'll be avoiding this shop in the future.

Yes, immediately... It tastes good, it's quick. The location is really ideal and if you are an Energie Cottbus fan, you sometimes meet players there too... I know kebab from Mecklenburg and Berlin because I lived and worked there, but it is really very tasty.

Doner kebab cold, not the best in taste. Sauce without love and taste / watery. I only recommend this store for alcoholic drinkers at 1 a.m. to refuel. This store can't be used for anything else.

I ordered a dürem, a kids menu, and a crispy chicken burger (as a menu), paid twenty euros and found out at home that there were only fries in the bag for me. I know mistakes can happen, but I'm still disappointed (and hungry 😔)

Unfortunately, the meat is cut off before customers arrive. I had more cold meat. Then a little something fresh is cut off but honestly people. Same with the fries. You really have to be lucky to get an awesome warm product

Long waiting times. Employees don't really know what they should do or what their tasks are. Doner is not the world, hardly any taste and sauce is like water.

I often had the impression that when I ordered kofta, it was done very reluctantly. Last time it even said "it doesn't exist", even though it said so on the menu above the counter. Since I speak the Turkish language, I could understand how the older employee said to his young colleague after I ordered köfte: "Uff ya, where does she come from with her köfte now?" Been there on the recommendation of many and unfortunately very disappointed. Neither the meat nor the bread really had any roasted aromas, unfortunately all the meat was only in one place in the kebab and if you order a children's kebab at "Ali's Döner" (not the one right next to it) 350m away, it is bigger than a normal one here. Above all, the size of the kebab is a real problem in my opinion, for the same price you can get a kebab 350m away at the town hall that really fills you up and also nicer service.

I was in Cottbus for the first time on Saturday September 21st, 2024 and I have to say: The kebab itself was really tasty. But when I wanted to (just) wash my hands in the toilet, I felt a little disgusted. The small toilet looked too rubbish and the soap was gone.

The Kebab Dürum is mouth watering. They also have nice deals. The Kebab Dürum makes your mouth water. They also have nice offers.

It's always nice to eat there. You will always receive quick and friendly service.

I had an appetite for kebab that Sunday, but where can you buy a delicious kebab on "Lord's Day" in Cottbus and the surrounding area, the only place that came to mind was "Efes Döner" opposite the Spremberger Tower. What can I say, everything was to my satisfaction, friendly, courteous staff, pleasant atmosphere and the kebab was also delicious 😋, what more could you want! Conclusion: If you are looking for a delicious kebab in Cottbus and the surrounding area on a Sunday, you are in the best hands at “Efes Döner”, I can only warmly recommend it! 👍

The best kebab shop in Cottbus. I love their kebab, Sunday is kebab day for me and it's from Efes. Very consistent taste, the sauces are great. Hot sauce with garlic sauce is good. They have burgers, fries and beer too. The fried chicken in the burger is nice and crispy and soft on the inside, just like their donor bread. The atmosphere is one of the best I've ever seen in a kebab shop. However, I would suggest improving the quality of the salad. The location is just perfect, at the end of the Altmarkt, a walk at night after a Dönor is a pleasant experience

We came into the store, the staff was unfriendly: "Will it be or do we just want to stand around?" The five of us were still briefly looking at what we should order. Indoor tables not cleaned and edges partially damaged, children could easily cut themselves. Because of this we went out, there was rubbish on the tables outside and the floor was full of food leftovers, cleaning is probably not done during serving times. We then had to go to the toilet there for a moment, please don't do that to yourself. No soap, rotten looking and smelling furniture, sticky toilets and uncleaned bowls, and no towels to dry off or anything else. The food was okay. With the fries you didn't ask what you wanted on it and half a soup of ketchup and mayo was poured on it. The kebab itself was quite tasty. However, the Vietnamese guy looked much cleaner and would initially be the target, but this dirty place is not recommended.

A cool place with tasty kebabs in the very center of the city. Nice service. The guys even try to talk to each other in Polish. For €8.50 you can definitely eat a set of kebab + fries and wash it down with a cola. Large selection of beers. Including, of course, my favorite Turkish holiday drink - Efes.

I ate there on April 4th, 2024 and my wife and I both suffered from food poisoning. Otherwise always satisfied but will now eat kebab somewhere else.

Good kebab and nice atmosphere. The cleanliness on and under the tables still needs to be worked on. The price I paid wasn't entered into the cash register, it was just "filed"!
