After learning about the little shop via TikTok and then Google, we quickly drove the 40-minute drive over this evening to see for ourselves. And what can I say? Amazing!!! Great meat, incredibly juicy, and the bread is beyond delicious. You can taste that everything is fresh and homemade. Unfortunately, I made one mistake: I ordered everything with sauce. All the sauces are very, very good, but the meat is so delicious that it doesn't need any. Next time, we'll eat it the classic way 👍

Disappointing. The bread was soft, not crispy at all, round, and extremely small. The meat had no real flavor. The only positive thing was that you could park right in front of the shop and your order was ready quickly. The employees all seemed to have a poker face, and the doner meat cutter was clearly not in the mood for his job. They should take a leaf out of Efes Grill's book in Schwerte—they serve the doner with love and everything is fresh.

I drove 75km specifically for this place while looking for an "old school" kebab shop, but somehow I wasn't convinced (yet). Service matches the ambiance: just the bare essentials, and it's okay. Food: Kebab with just onions and no sauce - as it should be!!! Bread: Good, warm, crispy, and not overly overpowering. Meat: Somehow too dry and lacking in flavor. The mouthfeel and (spiced) taste were more like a kofte (meatball) than a kebab. Onions: They could have added a bit of sumac and parsley for this kind of meat, which lacks a bit of zest. Now I don't know if I was just unlucky or if it's always like this because when I arrived, the old man cut off the last piece of skewer 1 and also "peeled off" the first layer of a brand new skewer 2, and I don't know which one I got.🤦🏻‍♂️

I was there again today after years. It's absolutely delicious. It's definitely worth the 20-minute drive from Hagen to Letmathe.

We came here spontaneously (80km away) and were not disappointed! The doner kebab is absolutely amazing, the meat is so juicy and perfectly seasoned, the bread as soft as a freshly made bed yet still crunchy to the bite!!! We'd love to come back!

Long waiting times 7.80 euros for your kebab is intense!

I have no idea what people here think of as good meat, but that was absolutely standard minced meat kebab. I was told that the skewer itself is stuffed with minced meat and meat. There is definitely more minced meat than meat. You can eat it but for just under €8 it's a really cheeky price. In addition, these catastrophic waiting times with hardly any structure do not even write down the order. People who ordered much later are treated very rudely. I wanted to test it and had a bad experience, definitely never again.

Actually my favorite kebab shop. The meat and bread are undeniably the best you can get around here. I like coming here. Often with my 2 children. But today was really a joke! I ordered a lahmacun with meat. The skewer was still as thick as a kitchen roll but was visibly coming to an end. They cheekily only put 4-5 mini slices of meat on the lahmacun. When I mentioned this they cheekily said it would cost extra. I didn't order a salad bag! And for €7.80 I would like to have decent meat - which is what I got after asking... But you can give it a try... The customer before (a Turk) got a kebab plate with a bunch of meat on it - costs €1.20 more. Kind regards

Unfortunately I am very disappointed with my last visit. I waited over an hour for my food even though the place wasn't particularly busy. After about 40 minutes, new guests arrived who had clearly ordered after me and were served first, which I honestly found quite cheeky and unfair.

The best kebab shop I know, the kebab here is still worth it. All the meat and bread is made by the team themselves and you can taste it.
