Seating on the terrace overlooking the beautiful park. Great food, friendly young staff. A schnitzel that's still good value for money. When will we go back? As soon as possible 😉

Highly recommended, classic, traditional German restaurant. We were in town as tourists, and I found this place by chance on Google Maps. I was craving an honest, freshly cooked meal. In the days before, we'd lived off currywurst, pizza, and other fast food or convenience products. When we arrived at the restaurant, we weren't sure whether it was open or not, as we were the only customers who wanted to sit outside. The gentleman who served us was very friendly and said it would be absolutely no problem if we wanted to sit outside. I ordered a schnitzel with asparagus on toast and a side salad. My wife had schnitzel with vegetables. Immediately after we ordered, we heard activity starting up through the open kitchen window, like meat being pounded and things being cut. It sounded promising, like it was freshly cooked and not just thawed and fried. When the food arrived, we were more than pleasantly surprised! Everything was truly freshly prepared and flavorful. My asparagus was still nice and firm, and the side salad with the dressing was also really delicious. Just as we started eating, the terrace was filling up. We were just 30 minutes ahead of everyone else... all in all, a great meal at a fair price, prepared and served by friendly people. And all without any unnecessary frills or other nonsense. It's a shame we live so far from the restaurant. But if I ever come back to the area, I would definitely visit again.

Unfortunately, my visit was very disappointing overall. The prices are significantly inflated, especially considering the quality of the food. The taste wasn't convincing in my opinion, but that's a matter of taste, of course. Another particularly negative aspect was a bald waiter whose behavior was completely inappropriate. He approached young girls, some of whom were obviously underage, and interrupted conversations with other guests without being asked. His demeanor came across as disrespectful and intrusive. Furthermore, one had the impression that he only gave preferential treatment to certain guests, while others were ignored or treated rudely. This kind of behavior is completely out of place in the restaurant industry. It's a real shame, because the place itself actually had potential.
