I'm really very satisfied! The team is incredibly friendly and accommodating; you can immediately tell they really care about their guests. The doner kebab was delicious, one of the best I've ever eaten. I came all the way from Switzerland because I saw the advertisement and was so keen to try this flavor – and it was absolutely worth it!

The doner kebab and the köfte ekmek and, best of all, the chilled cheese bowl were delicious. I'd love to come back, and the chicken doner meat tastes like it's homemade.

Das Produkt überzeugt, kann auch ohne Soße gegessen werden, das Fleisch ist kräftig und gut gewürzt und der Salat ist frisch. An Efendi mag ich sehr, dass es sich NICHT um einen Lifestyle-Döner handelt, der mit irgendwelchen Kichererbsen oder Kartoffeln, alles andere als ein traditioneller Döner ist. Tradition steht bei Efendi an erster Stelle und die Liebe zum Produkt schmeckt man mit jedem Bissen. Probiert Efendi aus und ihr werdet es lieben - und wer nicht, hat keinen Geschmack.

The meat is of very good quality, the kebab tastes excellent and the highlight is definitely the bowls.

I went here today for the first time since the reopening because I hadn't really noticed the place before. The interior looks modern and fresh. The kebab tasted like 100% chicken and, in my opinion, didn't have an artificial flavor like many other kebab shops. The fries were fresh and the sauce was delicious. Absolutely top-notch. 😭😭

The dürüm was okay, but the meat was a bit dry and, in my opinion, a bit too spicy. Otherwise, it was an average dürüm, nothing special. But the price was really good.

Unfortunately, we had to wait about 30 minutes for our food, even though the place wasn't very busy. Guests who had ordered after us were served much earlier. It wasn't until more than half an hour later that we were informed that they were out of vegetable doner. The food itself was okay, but not outstanding.

I was there recently on June 7, 2025, and was satisfied. The quality of the food is good. My falafel kebab was delicious, and the ingredients were fresh. I paid €11 for the portion shown in the pictures, which I think is absolutely fair for the quality and quantity offered. Another big plus is the option to pay by card – it makes paying quick and easy. The only downside was that I couldn't find a restroom, which would have been handy for washing my hands after eating.

Top-notch kebab shop, and another big step forward since the reopening. I ordered a yufka, and as always, the bread was very fresh. I tried the veal for the first time, and that was also very good. Visually, they've adopted a very nice, modern look and expanded their menu. Always happy to come back. Truly top-notch 👍🏽

Efendi is the number 1 kebab in Mannheim, especially after the reopening, it has improved by 150%. You can taste it immediately that the skewers are put together yourself and there is also a lot to choose from besides kebab 🥙. Super friendly staff.

Since the grand reopening on Tuesday February 4th, 2025, Efendi Döner has appeared with new splendor! The atmosphere in the newly renovated restaurant is modern and inviting. The veal kebab I ate was simply heavenly, perfectly seasoned and super fresh! The new selection of new dishes is just as impressive as the new vegan variety, which shows that someone here really takes customer requests into account! The staff is, as always, friendly and accommodating. I can recommend Efendi Döner to everyone in the Mannheim area, because I have personally experienced every process from the development to the marketing of the "Efendi Döner" brand and now eat Döner myself, with a 20-year tradition :)

The second food spot that I count as one of my personal favorites. The shop is well suited for eating on warm days as it has plenty of outdoor seating. Also possible in the store itself with a loss of space (on bar stools at the counter). The store is always clean and the service is friendly. Lahmacun is pre-made and not fresh from the oven, it is warmed up in the toaster - the taste is quite ok. Içli beöpfte is also recommended, tastes very Turkish 👌🏽. The main star in my review is the chicken kebab. The taste is VERY good in its overall performance, to put it arrogantly 😋 - plus an Ayran - pööörfäkt..

I would first be ignored for 5 minutes and then asked what I would like. Took a small kebab with cheese and I was really disappointed here. I know for many people that the cheese goes on the kebab first and is also kept warm. Unfortunately, nothing here, everything was simply thrown on top. There was also something missing in terms of taste and the yoghurt sauce is not my cup of tea, it's the nastiest I've had so far. They've probably never heard of friendliness either. Everything was the first and last time they saw me there.

I have been going to Efendi for many years now. Since I don't live nearby, it's limited to 1-2 times a year. Today the Yufka was oversalted and the sauce was different than usual. It was really not good and not what I'm used to. I'll try it there again and revoke my review if it's good again. Otherwise, with a heavy heart, I'll have to look for another kebab house.

Gute Lage, sehr große Getränkeauswahl. Preise sind etwas geringer als woanders, Döner 6€ und Pide 4€. Ich wollte mir ein Pide mit Weichkäse kaufen & es wurde gesagt, dass sie kein Pide mehr haben (es war 20:40 Uhr). Da habe ich mich gefragt, ob sie es nicht frisch machen können oder ob die Sachen fertig auf Menge eingekauft werden? Ich weiß es nicht, denn alles ist bereits fertig produziert, selbst die Nudeln und der Reis sind bereits fertig gekocht. Im Endeffekt habe ich einen Börek mit Weichkäse gekauft, der leider in der Mikrowelle warmgemacht wurde.. Mitarbeiter waren auch nicht allzu freundlich😅 Den Döner kann ich somit nicht bewerten, ich finde es aber gut, dass der Spieß aus eigener Herstellung ist.

I have taken donner from there. First they offer only chicken donner second it was not tasty. Dry and not juicy. Price is same you could find may be 50 cents less than other places. Not recommended.

Sehr gutes Geschäft wir essen sehr gerne dort. Der Laden ist Sauber es schmeckt sehr gut, vor allem das Dönerfleisch ist sehr gut gewürzt und der Salat ist immer frisch. Bedient wird man auch sehr freundlich.
