Our first visit to a Turkish restaurant and it was very pleasant and tasty 😋.

That was super tasty! The meat was very tender and the taste was very good! The chef and waitress were very nice, friendly and helpful. I can only recommend such a chic and pleasant restaurant!

Really a great place to try Turkish food. The appetizer platter was a highlight - you immediately notice that you made the right choice. The atmosphere is great, especially if you come with the family!

If I could give it 7 stars, I would. Very nice ambiance, the waitresses were all very kind and attentive. The food was so delicious, and I'm very particular about that sort of thing. But here I was thoroughly impressed. Great location, parking available right outside. We were very happy and will come back next time we're in Bamberg.

After several visits to pick up, we finally made it to the restaurant today and it was totally worth it! The service was first class: extremely attentive, friendly and with extensive knowledge of the food. The cold appetizer platter is particularly recommended, as it was a real highlight in terms of taste. We also loved the grilled dishes. The crowning finale was an excellently prepared mocha, which perfectly rounded off the enjoyable experience. We paid just under 80 euros for two people, but it was still an investment that was definitely worth it. Here you not only treat yourself to good food, but also an all-round experience that is worth every penny. There is nothing like it in the region - a real gem among restaurants!

An absolute highlight in Bamberg! We were there with several people and enjoyed every second. The service was incredibly friendly and attentive – you immediately feel welcome. The food? Simply fantastic! Not the standard dishes you'd expect from many Turkish restaurants, but genuine, authentic cuisine with lovingly prepared dishes. The rice was perfect, the side dishes and appetizers incredibly delicious – you can taste that everything is homemade. The meat, whether chicken or kebab, was tender as butter and full of flavor. An all-around fantastic experience! If we're ever in Bamberg again, we'll definitely be back. A clear recommendation for anyone who loves really good Turkish food!

Fine Turkish cuisine in the former Bürgerbräu Stübla on Wilhelmsplatz in Bamberg. Very friendly staff and a wide selection of dishes. I had an Adana Kebap with two dips, bulgur and beans. There was also salad. I enjoyed it so much that I will come back here again.

In addition to the very friendly and courteous staff, I would like to highlight the really delicious food. The grilled dishes were to die for, but the vegetarian at the table was also perfectly happy. Special dietary requirements/intolerances were dealt with very competently and courteously. I recommend making a reservation, the restaurant was really busy, but given the delicious food it was more than understandable. We'd love to come back!

After more than 10 years we were once again at Effendie... and were pleasantly surprised. Between Christmas and New Year it was fully booked. The very friendly service was attentive and ensured quick service. The food was very tasty, the portions were large but not too generous. Both the vegetarian dishes and the meat dishes were well prepared and nicely presented. If you like ouzo, you shouldn't choose the raki on offer. The prices for the skin dishes are between 16 and 22 euros below the general level, including the drinks. So great value for money. Overall a successful evening.

Very tasty food, plentiful, beautifully prepared. Great price-performance ratio. We ate lame, veal pies, kofta, starters, we enjoyed everything. Young condition very nice and friendly.

Delicious food with a big BUT: We have tried to order and pick up food three times recently, both by phone and on site. Three times the staff were not very enthusiastic, and sometimes we were even brushed off in an unfriendly manner: “Theoretically, it would be possible to order, but it would take forever.” “Yes, until the kitchen starts cooking, that will take a while.” Both times we were there at 5 p.m. and the place was still almost empty. Once the order worked, a call from the staff to say the food was ready was unfortunately not possible because it would be too much effort. So we waited at the counter until we got our food about 15 minutes later than previously estimated. Overall there is a feeling that there is a lack of organization and that the staff wants to avoid the additional work that orders cause. We therefore only felt comfortable as guests on site, but as those ordering we were anything but welcome. You should fundamentally rethink how you can accept orders, perhaps only on certain days or at certain times. The way things are right now is not a satisfactory situation - we can just leave it alone, which is what we are unfortunately doing now!

A great authentic Turkish restaurant. Without much fuss, but tasty, plentiful and good value for money. What I would personally do differently about one of our dishes: Had the battered shrimp as a starter. These came to the table and the yogurt sauce was poured over them (and quite a bit of it). This will make the dough soggy. The sauce in a bowl next to it and the shrimp would be even better. To your answer: if you keep trying new dishes, you don't know how they will be received at the table (there are no pictures on the menu). So I can't express it as a wish "beforehand". You should generally take this into account in your considerations.

Located on Wilhelmsplatz with a beautiful view of the Higher Regional Court building, Efendi offers a diverse selection of Turkish cuisine. In addition to a variety of meat and fish dishes from the grill or the oven, there are also some vegetarian alternatives. Both the food and the extremely friendly service leave nothing to be desired. We'd love to come back.

Great ambience. But unfortunately no customer parking space. Lamb chops could be more seasoned. Unfortunately, dessert was too sweet for me.

Mediterranean, oriental good dishes. Great Turkish cuisine. Delicious flatbread with hummus and yogurt sauce. Rich selection of grilled meat, fish and vegetarian dishes. Efendi's is absolutely recommended.

We had dinner there last Saturday. Food was top as stated. Unfortunately the service wasn't good at all. Every time you needed someone from the service department it really took several attempts to be able to order something. Nobody came by themselves and asked if everything was okay.

We were at Efendi at the weekend and even though the place was full, the service was very attentive and took the time to give detailed advice and was always up for a laugh. As a starter, the five of us had the warm mixed starter plate and the large cold starter plate. The appetizer was the highlight. But the main course (meat and veggie) was also very tasty. We enjoyed the falafel with eggplant best. The only drawback: the dining room is a bit old.

Der richtig gute Türke in Bamberg. Die Preise sind zwar deftig, aber für gutes Essen, vielseitig, es gibt was für Vegies, was für glutenfreie Esser, was Deftiges u Edles.

Der Service war zwar sehr nett, aber auch extrem langsam. Wir waren eine große Gruppe, die aber natürlich vorher reserviert hat und haben unglaublich lange auf alles warten müssen. Die Vorspeise war sehr lecker, aber der Tintenfisch war total zäh und ohne Geschmack. Die Möglichkeit als Entschädigung was Anderes zu bekommen rechne ich dem Personal aber hoch!

Essen war sehr lecker, Portionen sind ordentlich. Der Service war super nett und offen alle Fragen zu beantworten. Der Platz war nicht optimal aber an einem Freitagabend zu erwarten.

Leider etwas enttäuscht, das Essen war soweit ok., aber nichts Besonderes, Fleisch war ziemlich zäh. Salat ok. Wir haben in der Vergangenheit bei anderen ähnlichen Restaurants wesentlich schmackhafter gegessen. Tische & Fußböden könnten stellenweise sauberer sein. Service war freundlich und schnell.

Waren heute Abend nach langer Zeit wieder hier essen, weil wir dem Lokal eine zweite Chance geben wollten. Bei unserem ersten Besuch waren wir nicht überzeugt. Heute aber, waren wir sehr zufrieden. Die Auswahl der Gerichte auf der Karte ist sehr vielseitig und auch für vegetarische oder vegane Ernährung geeignet. Die Preise sind völlig in Ordnung. Im Sommer gibt es die Möglichkeit draußen zu sitzen, obwohl es an der Straße ist, ist es super gemütlich und überhaupt nicht laut. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hat zu unserem gelungenen Abendessen beigetragen. Einziger Wehmutstropfen ist, dass für unserem Geschmack die Gerichte deutlich würziger hätten sein können, da wir bei türkischen Gerichten in Punkto Authentizität dahingehend etwas mehr erwartet haben.

Diesmal war ich im Sommer unter den Schatten spendenden Bäumen gesessen das ist ein wunderbares Ambiente und wirklich zu empfehlen! Leckere türkische Küche!
