Essen war sehr gut, Service sehr freundlich, teilweise lange Wartezeiten

Heute einen Tag in Bamberg verbracht und im Efendi essen gewesen. Das war wirklich außergewöhnlich gut. Richtig gute hochwertige türkische Küche. Wenn ich hier wohnen würde, würde ich hier definitiv regelmäßig hingehen 🙂🙂🙂

Ein sehr nettes Lokal mit freundlichen Personal und sehr leckerem Essen.

Sehr leckeres Essen mit einem guten Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis bei schönem Ambiente. Der Falafel Teller ist sehr zu empfehlen (siehe Bild) und ist mit 12 Falafeln auch eine ordentliche Portion gewesen. Freundliche Bedienung und vielfältige Speisekarte :)

Wir waren zum ersten Mal da und waren sehr positiv überrascht. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und das Essen war ausgezeichnet. Es kam schnell und war von seiner Qualität und seinem Geschmack ausgezeichnet. Sollten wir mal wieder in Bamberg sein, werden wir auf jeden Fall wieder kommen!!!

Das Essen war sehr gut. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und Aufmerksam gewesen. Beim Ambiente hat man noch den 80er Jahre Chic der Brauerei Stuben vorher gemerkt. Aber vom Essen absolut empfehlenswert und ein gutes Preis Leistungs Verhältnis.

Es war fast alles gut. Den Tintenfisch bräuchte ich nicht mehr, der Rest (z.B. Lammkachse) war super...

Das Essen und die Auswahl gerade auch an vegetarischen Gerichten sind echt super und sehr geschmackvoll. Die Servicekräfte sind alle sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Weiter so!

Ein wirklich empfehlenswertes Etablissement, in das ich gerne zurückkehre.

Da hab ich wohl mein neues Lieblingsrestaurant entdeckt. So gut wie hier habe ich selten gegessen. Der Service war sehr gut, freundlich und schnell und das Lokal hat ein tolles Ambiente. Absolute Empfehlung!

Die türkische Küche ist unglaublich lecker, ich kann sie jedem nur empfehlen!

Waren hier zu Fünft. Haben einen Tag vorher reserviert und haben zum Glück noch einen Platz bekommen. Das Lokal war gut besucht. Essen war wie bereits bekannt von top Qualität. Die Vorspeisenplatte wurde uns nochmals genauer erklärt, aus was sie bestand. Service war top. Preis-Leistung ist in Ordnung. Die Getränke sind etwas teuer, aber das Essen dafür verhältnismäßig. Wir haben nicht lange auf die Getränke gewartet und auf das Essen jeweils vielleicht 10-15 Minuten zwischen den Gängen. Sehr zu empfehlender Türke 👌

Wieder einmal ein kulinarisch toller Abend im Efendi. Super freundlicher Service, sehr gute Speisenqualität. Mein Lammspieß war butterzart und gut gewürzt. Die Beilagen harmonieren bestens und auch der Salat mit dem fruchtigen Dressing ein Gedicht. Alles in allem perfekt. Efendi ist einfach eine Topadresse für qualitatives und schmackhaftes Essen in Bamberg. Ich freue mich schon aufs nächste Mal ;-)

Zweifellos das beste türkische Restaurant in Bamberg. Ich bestellte den Grillteller. Alles war köstlich. Die Bedienung war unglaublich zuvorkommend. Auch die Atmosphäre war sehr lebhaft. Ein absolutes Muss für alle, die in Bamberg wohnen oder die Stadt besuchen.

Ein bestenfalls zweitklassige Restaurant. Wir hatten einen Lammspieß und eine gemischte Lammplatte. Der Laden war voll, die Wartezeit aufs Essen überdurchschnittlich, circa 1 Stunde. Das Fleisch war lauwarm, ziemlich zäh und offenbar zu lange in der Pfanne und später in der Warteschleife. Die Salat Beilage sah schon ziemlich müde aus, die Dips waren Mini portioniert und sehr durchschnittlich von der Qualität. Ich habe alle drei Rotweine probiert, keiner war mehr als akzeptabel. Ich glaube kaum, dass der Einkaufspreis über fünf Euro pro Flasche gelegen hat. 0,2 l für acht Euro das Glas. Preisleistung hat weder beim Essen noch beim weingestimmt. Die Vorspeisen meiner Tischgenossen sahen allerdings gut aus. Die türkischen Restaurants in Köln sind eine andere Welt. Ich glaube nicht, dass die Efendis das eigene Lokal mit dem uns servierten Essen zufrieden verlassen hätten..

Zunächst einmal ist die Höflichkeit des Personals lobenswert. Wir kamen, um Künefe (eine türkische Süßspeise) zu essen, bestellten unsere Künefe, doch die servierten Künefe waren roh und teigig. Ich hoffe, dem Inhaber ist der Unterschied zwischen einer echten Künefe und der in seinem Laden hergestellten bekannt. Wer Geld verlangt, sollte im Gegenzug ein qualitativ hochwertiges Produkt liefern. Ich hoffe, Sie berücksichtigen dies.

The service couldn't keep up with all the orders, so it took quite a while for the food and side dishes to arrive. The food wasn't good and didn't compare to other Turkish restaurants, and it was also very expensive. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it.

If I could give it 7 stars, I would. Very nice ambiance, the waitresses were all very kind and attentive. The food was so delicious, and I'm very particular about that sort of thing. But here I was thoroughly impressed. Great location, parking available right outside. We were very happy and will come back next time we're in Bamberg.

After several visits to pick up, we finally made it to the restaurant today and it was totally worth it! The service was first class: extremely attentive, friendly and with extensive knowledge of the food. The cold appetizer platter is particularly recommended, as it was a real highlight in terms of taste. We also loved the grilled dishes. The crowning finale was an excellently prepared mocha, which perfectly rounded off the enjoyable experience. We paid just under 80 euros for two people, but it was still an investment that was definitely worth it. Here you not only treat yourself to good food, but also an all-round experience that is worth every penny. There is nothing like it in the region - a real gem among restaurants!

An absolute highlight in Bamberg! We were there with several people and enjoyed every second. The service was incredibly friendly and attentive – you immediately feel welcome. The food? Simply fantastic! Not the standard dishes you'd expect from many Turkish restaurants, but genuine, authentic cuisine with lovingly prepared dishes. The rice was perfect, the side dishes and appetizers incredibly delicious – you can taste that everything is homemade. The meat, whether chicken or kebab, was tender as butter and full of flavor. An all-around fantastic experience! If we're ever in Bamberg again, we'll definitely be back. A clear recommendation for anyone who loves really good Turkish food!

Fine Turkish cuisine in the former Bürgerbräu Stübla on Wilhelmsplatz in Bamberg. Very friendly staff and a wide selection of dishes. I had an Adana Kebap with two dips, bulgur and beans. There was also salad. I enjoyed it so much that I will come back here again.

In addition to the very friendly and courteous staff, I would like to highlight the really delicious food. The grilled dishes were to die for, but the vegetarian at the table was also perfectly happy. Special dietary requirements/intolerances were dealt with very competently and courteously. I recommend making a reservation, the restaurant was really busy, but given the delicious food it was more than understandable. We'd love to come back!

After more than 10 years we were once again at Effendie... and were pleasantly surprised. Between Christmas and New Year it was fully booked. The very friendly service was attentive and ensured quick service. The food was very tasty, the portions were large but not too generous. Both the vegetarian dishes and the meat dishes were well prepared and nicely presented. If you like ouzo, you shouldn't choose the raki on offer. The prices for the skin dishes are between 16 and 22 euros below the general level, including the drinks. So great value for money. Overall a successful evening.

Delicious food with a big BUT: We have tried to order and pick up food three times recently, both by phone and on site. Three times the staff were not very enthusiastic, and sometimes we were even brushed off in an unfriendly manner: “Theoretically, it would be possible to order, but it would take forever.” “Yes, until the kitchen starts cooking, that will take a while.” Both times we were there at 5 p.m. and the place was still almost empty. Once the order worked, a call from the staff to say the food was ready was unfortunately not possible because it would be too much effort. So we waited at the counter until we got our food about 15 minutes later than previously estimated. Overall there is a feeling that there is a lack of organization and that the staff wants to avoid the additional work that orders cause. We therefore only felt comfortable as guests on site, but as those ordering we were anything but welcome. You should fundamentally rethink how you can accept orders, perhaps only on certain days or at certain times. The way things are right now is not a satisfactory situation - we can just leave it alone, which is what we are unfortunately doing now!

A great authentic Turkish restaurant. Without much fuss, but tasty, plentiful and good value for money. What I would personally do differently about one of our dishes: Had the battered shrimp as a starter. These came to the table and the yogurt sauce was poured over them (and quite a bit of it). This will make the dough soggy. The sauce in a bowl next to it and the shrimp would be even better. To your answer: if you keep trying new dishes, you don't know how they will be received at the table (there are no pictures on the menu). So I can't express it as a wish "beforehand". You should generally take this into account in your considerations.

Located on Wilhelmsplatz with a beautiful view of the Higher Regional Court building, Efendi offers a diverse selection of Turkish cuisine. In addition to a variety of meat and fish dishes from the grill or the oven, there are also some vegetarian alternatives. Both the food and the extremely friendly service leave nothing to be desired. We'd love to come back.

Great ambience. But unfortunately no customer parking space. Lamb chops could be more seasoned. Unfortunately, dessert was too sweet for me.

Mediterranean, oriental good dishes. Great Turkish cuisine. Delicious flatbread with hummus and yogurt sauce. Rich selection of grilled meat, fish and vegetarian dishes. Efendi's is absolutely recommended.

We were at Efendi at the weekend and even though the place was full, the service was very attentive and took the time to give detailed advice and was always up for a laugh. As a starter, the five of us had the warm mixed starter plate and the large cold starter plate. The appetizer was the highlight. But the main course (meat and veggie) was also very tasty. We enjoyed the falafel with eggplant best. The only drawback: the dining room is a bit old.

We had dinner there last Saturday. Food was top as stated. Unfortunately the service wasn't good at all. Every time you needed someone from the service department it really took several attempts to be able to order something. Nobody came by themselves and asked if everything was okay.
