Edo Sushi & Grill Oberhausen in Oberhausen

Why was my 5 star rating taken from the previous shop, Edo Sushi? This leads to an incorrect overall rating for this new shop. I have now adjusted my rating after having the chance to visit the restaurant. Unfortunately, I was not so impressed. I liked it better at Edo sushi. It's not bad, but the overall concept was just better.

We visited this Chinese restaurant because of the many positive reviews and thought we would have a good time here. Unfortunately, that was not the case - our experience was anything but pleasant. The prices are completely excessive and not justified in any way. We paid 200 euros and still went hungry. The portions were small and the food did not even come close to justifying the high price. The atmosphere was not particularly inviting either. We wanted to enjoy a nice evening, but unfortunately it was anything but that. Overall a big disappointment - we definitely cannot recommend this restaurant.

Very disappointing experience - way too expensive and unfriendly service We visited this Chinese restaurant but unfortunately our experience was very disappointing. The portions are incredibly small - for the prices they charge here you definitely expect more. It is completely overpriced and not justified in any way. Another big problem was the service. Some waiters were rude and not particularly helpful. What was particularly annoying was that the terms of an ongoing promotion were not properly explained to us. In the end we had to pay for things that we thought were included in the promotion. This is unacceptable and seems like a deliberate deception. For the money you spend here, there are definitely better restaurants with a much more interesting ambience and, above all, with tastier sushi. We will certainly not visit this place again and cannot recommend it to anyone.

Unfortunately disappointed :( The food wasn't good. The individual pieces of sushi were rather small and thin than we were used to elsewhere. For almost 33 euros per person we expected more. Very unfortunate. Service was good. Some of the dishes looked like they hadn't been washed. More like some of the dishes had just been wiped clean.

Were very satisfied. Big praise goes to Lilly - a very friendly and attentive waitress.

Today I went to the newly opened MAKI & TEA with my family: All four of us were disappointed by the quality of the food: everything fried was obviously fried in old fat (the breading was correspondingly dark), the soups were lukewarm, the sushi lacked a kick, the noodle and rice dishes were swimming in oil, the grilled mini pieces of salmon were grilled to death and dry, the gyoza were not steamed but fried!!! and much more. The "All You Can Drink rule" "all or none" also caused displeasure because the kids would have liked to choose "All You Can Drink" but weren't allowed to because the adults didn't want to. All very unsatisfactory.

It was our first time there and we really liked it, a star suit, as not all the things we ordered came in each round.

We were there with three people, the staff is very friendly, pretty and accommodating. We were thrilled with the food, nice portions so we could try everything. The service is perfect, empty bowls are cleared away quickly, new dishes are delivered quickly! Everything was great, gladly again

Disappointing – never again! Unfortunately, our visit to Maki & Tea Oberhausen was a big disappointment. The restaurant was extremely overcrowded, which meant neither a pleasant atmosphere nor good service. The waiters seemed completely overwhelmed - a simple “please” or “thank you” was not heard, let alone a friendly smile. The courts? Almost everything is fried - anyone hoping for authentic Japanese cuisine will be bitterly disappointed here. This is not a real Japanese restaurant, but more of a typical Asian palace with a bit of sushi. An absolute no-go: The glasses had not been cleaned properly and some lipstick residue was still visible on some of them - disgusting! My first visit was also my last. If you really want to enjoy good Japanese food, you should find a real Japanese restaurant. Definitely not recommended! 🚫🍣

1. We waited around 10 minutes today until we even got a tablet to order the food. 2. We called service via tablet or missing cutlery because I had ordered steak, my steak came, but I didn't have a knife. Unfortunately no one came. 3. The sun was beating down so hard, and it was just under 3 degrees outside, that after a while you could hardly stand it anymore. I don't even want to know what it will be like in summer. 4. When I went to the toilet there was already a queue. There was no toilet paper in any cubicle. 5. The food arrived very late. Some of the food was already cold when we got it. 6. When we wanted to pay and entered it via the app, we waited at least 10 minutes until we could finally pay. Positive: the price for the selection of dishes was justified and perfectly fine.

The sushi was really tasty. The later it got, the colder the fries became. The food came really quickly. Mochis were also delicious. Overall recommended

We were served by an extremely friendly, young Asian employee who patiently explained all the dishes to us. The food tasted excellent. Using the iPad, everyone could individually select five bowls and reorder them every 15 minutes. After the third round we were already full. For larger groups, I recommend booking a table, especially on weekends, as there may be waiting times."

Unfortunately, the visit to Maki & Tea didn't convince us. The grilled dishes were served cold, the fries were soggy and also cold. Unfortunately, the sushi was only lower middle class and tasted disappointing. The very good selection of drinks and the friendly staff are positive. However, it seems like another store with a lot of TikTok hype that fails to live up to expectations. Unfortunately for us the price-performance ratio is not right.

I visited the restaurant with a friend after she saw it on Tiktok. Unfortunately, we weren't too impressed with the food. Our biggest complaint was that the rice was undercooked and icy cold when it was served. In general there is a large selection, but it was all really bland and surprisingly boring. We didn't really feel like ordering any more sushi. But the mushrooms were very, very tasty, as were the udon noodles. The dessert selection was also good, you can't complain about that. Just like the service. Very attentive and polite. We personally wouldn't go there again and wouldn't really recommend it either.

We ate here with 2 people. The sushi was very tasty. My favorite are the grilled salmon, grilled shrimp and salmon sushi. We also had sesame ice cream for dessert. The orders came very quickly and plates were cleared quickly. We will definitely come back here if we go shopping in Oberhausen for a day.

The food is an insult and charging almost €33 for it is simply outrageous. Anyone who gives 5 stars here suffers from a complete loss of reality. Ambience and service are good. The boys and girls move quickly and the system is explained well. The drinks flat rate for €11 plus surcharge for beer and cocktails is fine. What is noticeable negatively is the completely tattered cover of the tablet that was ordered from. Why don't you exchange something like that? Because it doesn't matter and people seem to come that way and unfortunately you notice that... Food, because what a restaurant is primarily about, is unfortunately shitty. Rice from sushi overcooked or not cooked long enough. Food partly oversalted, fries cold, limp and raw. Chicken completely dry and fried to death and the churros.... As if they had been taken out from under the couch after 3 weeks. If this store were in Düsseldorf, it would have already been forced to close by competition. Then better sushi from the supermarket.

Okinii for the little man We were there today and have mixed feelings. If you want to enjoy an evening with a bit of variety, this is the right place for you. But you won't find high-quality food here. As usual, here is a detailed review: CLIMATE: The staff, without exception, were all incredibly nice and friendly. However, it is not suitable for a romantic evening - it is probably suitable for a varied meal with students or the family. The tablets are lying in the middle of the room between the decorations, the bar is full of plates, and there are paper documents a la McDonald's on the tables. All in all, the restaurant unfortunately has a strong takeaway character. The toilets were clean, unfortunately the soap was empty. So mixed feelings here too DRINKS: The drinks flat rate is a cool thing - but it's only worth it if you order 3 drinks per person. The lure here is that the bubble tea is 50% off - but bubbles cost 70 cents extra. The lemonades taste very good - but with 8g of sugar per 0.3l they tend to make you constantly thirsty. Unfortunately I didn't find a zero version. SWEET FOOD BUFFET: There is a self-service sweet food area. Here you will find a chocolate fountain, all sorts of fruit, many types of cakes and brownies, ice cream... all of it tastes very good and despite self-service, care is taken to ensure that the place looks tidy. We thought that was great! LUNCH / SUSHI / MEAT: Unfortunately, here you realize that you are not sitting in a higher restaurant. Unfortunately we also have to deduct a star at this point. Of course you get what you pay for, but some things don't have to be that way. You can order on the menu via tablet. It's practical that you can look at everything in peace and try it out, and there are always photos too. BUT: some things cost extra. However, these dishes are NOT in a separate area, but rather in the middle of it. So you can quickly overlook it + when ordering there is no indication that you are paying extra. Addition: I paid €1 more for Rainbow Rolls, but unfortunately I didn't get them. I don't think that's so good. We were also NOT impressed by the taste, because unfortunately the snack character also prevails here. The dishes are drowned in sauce. In the salmon 'sashimi' we had 5 bones. The sushi fish is ice cold, so probably fresh from the refrigerator. The eel was also ice cold. In our opinion, real sushi fish is not used here, but simple fish or ready-made frozen packages from the wholesaler. We had to chew the beef fillet endlessly - until we let it disappear into the napkin. Additional information: Unfortunately the robot wasn't with us.

The shop is nice and the woman who served us was very courteous and attentive. However, the food wasn't that convincing. Starters such as spring rolls or gyoza tasted very dry and sticky and were cold. The selection is not as large as I know from other all you can eat stores. What I liked were the fried sushi rolls, but unfortunately nothing else convinced me.

It was our first time there and it was really tasty. Unfortunately, the sushi came a little later than ordered, but that wasn't a problem since enough other dishes came quicker and you didn't have any free time without eating. Very crowded and noisy. Accordingly, the staff couldn't keep up with the clearing. Even so, I didn't find it very friendly. Rather neutral. The food came quickly, but some of it was cold!! That doesn't work at all. Selection was fine. Even tasty when it wasn't cold. Wasabi and ginger had to be ordered separately otherwise you wouldn't have any bowls for the soy sauce! This means you lose count of the number of products you ordered! Don't know what to think about that...something like this should be on the table when you get the tablet. The price for “all you can drink” has not yet been adjusted on the website. The selection was fine. NO alcoholic drinks included, only for an additional charge.

The service is really unbelievably bad and rude and you don't need to talk about Chef Can and his goodwill. The store was so crowded and the staff was so bad. When you placed an order, you waited forever for things to arrive and they only arrived one at a time. We only managed 4 laps in 3 hours because it just took that long. There was so much that happened that would go beyond the scope of this, but trust me when I say it was so bold that I was shocked. Imagine, because of the time because the kitchen was closed even though a different time was on the menu, he said that we should have checked it on the website??? So it couldn't be more ridiculous. The colleague correctly informed us that the kitchen was closing and one last order was still being made. What happened? Nothing happened... They really have no coordination and don't train their staff properly. I don't directly criticize the staff because they are only as good as their boss or the person who teaches them. Then the plates piled up on all the tables because no waiter took anything and they just kept running empty. The tables around us were really stacked up (see picture) and they stood there empty for over an hour and nobody cleared anything away... And in the end the boss actually argued that he wasn't making any profit from the discount and so he preferred to accept it to let angry customers go instead of saving 4 customers more or less because of 20€ and at least making them happy. Sorry Chefe, but you can be lucky that with our money you at least got your ingredients out instead of telling me how expensive rent is. You also now have 4 bad reviews on Google. So it's a real loss, but well I know I'll never go to the store again and advise everyone against it. But come on, I shouldn't care about anything, I feel much more sorry for a Dutch family next to us who only got food twice and still had to pay for everything in the end, they were deducted so much that I really feel sorry for the poor ... If anyone still wants to go, only if the shop is empty otherwise it won't work.

We visited the restaurant having previously made a reservation but were unfortunately disappointed with our experience. Despite the reservation, we had to wait and were finally seated at a table where the floor was full of leftover food. The ground in the area was sticky which left a bad first impression. It took all of 45 minutes for our table to finally be cleaned and ready. That was really annoying, especially since we expected more organization and service from a reservation. However, the food is positive. The quality of the food was good, fresh and tasty. It's a real shame that the service and cleanliness marred the experience so much as the food definitely had potential. Overall a mixed visit - the food was good, but the service and hygiene desperately need to be improved to ensure guests have a pleasant experience.

I can't understand the super hyped comments on this restaurant. When we arrived we were allowed to wait at our table for 35 minutes. The first order we entered on the tablet came within a few minutes but was still cold. Four people each ordered 20 portions of food, but only 12 to 15 meals arrived. If you ordered twice, they simply slapped the two portions on a plate and then only served one plate so you had to guess which amount was for which person. Here, too, the food was always cold, the waitress didn't explain what food she was putting on the table but just kept walking after she put the plate down. Only one waitress always explained what they were eating and put it on the table so that the person who ordered the food could take the portions. The portions themselves were all very small, generally always with far too much oil on the plate, so accepting the plates led to a slippery experience. If we were in the fourth round of orders, orders from the first round would still arrive. In general, the selection of food looked very rich and very extensive, but in the end it wasn't because the food theoretically tasted like the food before because everything was soaked in oil. The selection of sushi was also not a choice because most of the sushi rolls contained avocado, which I personally dislike in terms of taste and consistency. Now we come to a point where it's better to switch off: the non-existent toilet hygiene... In my opinion, a toilet should be the flagship of a restaurant, as you can expect from an almost foladen, the toilets are extremely overused, completely filthy and some have so-called sprinklers. Photos in the appendix. Everything that came after a few minutes was still cold, including the cup of coffee. So if you want hot dishes and drinks, don't go here. Our dessert a tiny little crêpes can be had after 30 minutes of waiting. From my point of view, this shop didn't deserve a star, unfortunately I have to give it one. Unfortunately it was the first and last time there. Called in advance and asked if something was free and you could come in 60 minutes, yes there is something free and we can come (basically reserved for me). There was a bit of stress at first but we still got a table. The choice of food is okay, but quite boring. The sushi was okay. Sashimi (for an additional charge) was unfortunately quite watered down and had a strange aftertaste. Sometimes dishes from two rounds arrived in advance (about 40 minutes after ordering). Dishes that were supposed to be warm were already cold and/or too salty. The employees tried very hard, but overall things are getting better. Solid performance but nothing more. I know from other comparable restaurants that it can be done better. Very unfortunate

When it comes to sushi, we know much better. The selection was large but unfortunately many of the fried foods were cold and dry. And the table next to us even sent 2 complete rounds back. The sushis were also very large. The proportion of rice was higher than we usually know. Actually 3 stars but I want to come back and see improvement. For 32.50 it wasn't fair to the price as the quality wasn't right. Best example, the smallest and thinnest fried shrimp I have ever eaten. We'll give you a second chance. PS: Cafe machine didn't work either when booking a drink flat rate, which is a shame.

Don't understand the hype. We were there and I'm really not one to pay attention to little things but from the poor service to the food. The predecessor was worlds better. Many dishes were not available because the boss was still shopping??? Alternatives were offered, but if 3 of the 5 dishes are missing, you don't feel like it. The service is nice but ultimately they can't help it. But the food is really not good, it's a waste of money. Noodles cut into small pieces etc. It also started with no cutlery, no chopsticks, asking several times for soy bowls etc...

I've been there a few times now and always incredibly satisfied. Unfortunately, I can't attach any photos of the food or the location because it's always so delicious and you completely forget to answer your cell phone. There is simply nothing comparable to this restaurant in the surrounding area!! All I can say about the negative reviews here is that it's totally normal that it gets very, very crowded on weekends and late in the evening. One must not forget that this restaurant is currently going viral on social media and is being highly praised. I've never had the experience of having to wait for a long time despite having a reservation. And even if there are disagreements, all employees are extremely open to criticism and don't make you feel like it's unimportant. I am particularly enthusiastic about Fiona. She is one of the service employees and really puts her whole heart into it. I always see her beaming and am immediately infected by her good mood. Today I asked her her name and am actually only writing this review because of the positive encounter I had with her. So I can only recommend: don't make a reservation too late in the evening, be there on time, be nice to the staff, If you are dissatisfied, simply speak up openly and politely. I've only spent nice evenings there so far and even when it was so full that you were almost sitting on your lap at the next table, the ambience, the food and the staff balanced everything out. There is of course a difference in the lunch and dinner menu when it comes to food selection, but anyone who can read will be able to figure this out on the website when making a reservation. So I can recommend it. Fiona is simply the best there. you'll know who I mean when you see her.

Delicious food, great service and the ambience is great too. Depending on the time of day, the menu price for all you can eat is charged. You can also book a drinks flat rate. If you drink more than one drink, it's worth it. It is cheapest during the week from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. It's best to reserve a table from 3 p.m. as the location is in high demand.

So the price performance in this restaurant is unfortunately not right at all. An all-inclusive restaurant where beer and wine have to be paid extra (even if it's only €1) should attract more attention. A restaurant in Moers does it better. Unfortunately, the price per person is absolutely excessive here. There are much better alternatives to eat here again.

Fantastic sushi experience! An absolute must for sushi lovers! Ordering via tablet is super modern and convenient - no waiting times and everything comes to the table fresh. The selection is huge, from classic maki to creative special rolls. The quality and taste are top, the fish is fresh and tender. Perfect for a cozy evening with friends or family. Price-performance unbeatable – we will definitely be back!

Food is a 100/10. The employees are all super nice and helpful. The only “stupid” thing is the volume when it’s busy. In some places the tables are so close together that you are essentially sitting at the same table as the people sitting next to you.

4.5 stars! Food delicious, service quick. Allin is sushi-heavy, more sushi than Chinese. That was good for us, but definitely not for everyone. The room is very large and loud. Everything else fits and is consistent. You should plan 40 euros per person. We'd love to come back.

What was a shame was that some of the orders arrived very late, we were already a few rounds further and food from the first order still arrived. Towards the end you lost track of what was still missing and the sushi piled up at the end... afterwards it was said that the kitchen was poorly staffed due to illness, then the problem probably stemmed from that... we would definitely go there again!

We were really disappointed. There's finally a halal buffet and we didn't leave happy. The two stars are for the appearance, because the restaurant is beautifully furnished and decorated, and the speed with which the food came. The food itself was, with very few exceptions, not good to mediocre, and with two exceptions, ALWAYS cold. The chicken dishes, whether chicken teriyaki (which was really the biggest disaster), fried chicken or sticks - too dry. I have attached a photo that is supposed to be chicken teriyaki - there is a world of difference between the picture on the tablet and what we got. Kimchi had hardly any flavor, edamame was drowned in salt, there was simply no tofu in the miso soup, just soybeans. You can get many dishes like fried rice or noodles at Asia Hung at the main station, nothing special. The sushi rice was good, as was the filling, they weren't stingy in that respect, but every maki or inside out piece fell apart. I also ordered a specific roll twice and it was wrong twice. Absolutely unsatisfactory for the price. Conclusion: Nice shop, not much behind it. We won't be coming back. Very too bad.

I agree with some of the reviews, the service is a disaster. The store was very busy and the employees seemed overwhelmed. When we arrived we had to wait a long time until the table was cleaned. There were a lot of tables that were simply dirty and not tidied up. We waited about 20-30 minutes in the first round. The food always came very late, sometimes the food was cold. The drinks flat is good. The food so-so. Something urgently needs to be done to the service. Otherwise, many will not come a second time.

We were there with four people on a Monday at 1:30 p.m. A reservation would not have been necessary. However, the parking situation is already difficult at lunchtime. The food was super tasty and high quality. The choice of food for lunch (€17.90) was more than sufficient. There were starters (edamame, wakame, soups etc.), various sushis (maki, nigiri, inside out and even fried rolls), grilled food (chicken, but also fries etc.) and dessert (crêpes, but also a buffet with cakes, fruits, ice cream and chocolate fountains). We didn't book the all you can drink (€10.90), but there would have been enough choice there too. On the one hand, there is a star deduction for the service. This is super nice, but the individual dishes sometimes arrive at the table two rounds later. When the store is full in the evening, I don't want to know what it's like there. On the other hand, the women's toilets were not clean. One of two toilets was blocked. There was also no more toilet paper. If these points were changed, everything would be great.

Best sushi buffet at Maki & Tea If you love sushi and Korean, this place is definitely for you! My favorites are baked mussels, freshwater eel nigiri, and Cajun-style shrimp udon. There is a wide selection of Korean and Japanese dishes here, so you can enjoy to your heart's content. And if you don't want to leave your home, order delivery!

Very good food indeed. No wonder the store is so popular. However, because we made a reservation at 7 p.m. and only got a table shortly after 8 p.m., I can't give it more than 3 stars. We were offered a free drink, but that's not exactly worth much if you order with all you can drink. It said online that there could be a 15 minute wait despite a reservation. Well... That could also be true if the store seems to manage all of its reservations properly and doesn't make any mistakes. Unfortunately, we came on a day when a lot apparently went wrong. It's a shame that you can't really accommodate the people who have to wait at least an hour for a table despite having a reservation. But the food was of good quality and tasty. Drinks selection was also completely satisfactory.

Squealing in the entrance area - waiting despite a reservation? And then also in the area where the self-service refrigerators are. 3. Waiting time and arrival of orders - tablet only received after 30 minutes. The food also took a long time to arrive. Sometimes it came 2 rounds of ordering later, sometimes not at all. 4. Orders - too many things only for an additional charge. 4 servings per person per round? You can do it, but I'll get to the portions next time 5. Portions/Food - if not mentioned in the menu, the portion does not match the picture. Best example is grilled shrimp. There are 12-13 pieces shown in the picture. But you get four yourself. So theoretically you have to order 3-4 times and then have to wait 15 minutes for the next order. But the portions are generally too small and sauce is registered as a separate ordering point. Food itself tastes good as long as it's done. My octabus (that's what it's called on the menu) was still frozen. 6. Selection - all standard sushi all-you-can-eat. Lighting pleasantly warm and dimmed. We traveled an extra 50 minutes because of the hype in Tiktok. Since you explicitly ask your guests to advertise for free food on tiktok or insta, I'm starting to understand why you have such a hype. There are shops where you can also continue to go. The journey to you would have to take a maximum of 10 minutes by car for it to be worth it

Pure disappointment The food always arrived cold and some didn't arrive at all. There was hardly any choice this afternoon. Under the grill category there were only chicken skewers, nothing else. Overall, no shrimp, mussels, lamb...honestly too expensive for this quality and selection. The waiters all seemed overwhelmed. I won't come back

Unfortunately I was blinded by the pictures. The sushi selection wasn't very large, some of the sushi and desserts in the pictures were not available (e.g. sesame balls). The taste was okay. Unfortunately there was no wasabi or ginger, the soy sauce bowl was more than unsuitable, too deep and too small. The seaweed salad served was still frozen. The time between ordering and serving was quick at first, but continued to increase with each order, even though the store was emptying. The iced tea in the pictures is beautifully prepared, you can get iced tea in a normal bottle on the table for almost €5. Our actual reason for visiting was the robots, which were not available locally.

Overall, delicious food, nice ambience. Fair prices. The food came pretty quickly too. We just had the feeling that the waiters mixed up the tables every now and then because we didn't get a few things that we ordered. However, we also received food that we had not ordered.

We got ToGoodToGo boxes. There's a lot in it, super tasty and nice staff. The shop is also very nice!

We already knew the restaurant from the previous owner, Edo, and had expectations accordingly. I have to say that we are completely satisfied, even if the speed of the service still needs to change a bit. Tried sushi and various warm dishes, everything was delicious and there was a lot to choose from. We'll definitely be back!

If I compare the whole thing with other all-you-can-eat concepts and restaurants: average and nothing (!) special at all. At 30€ + 10€ drinks flat (i.e. 40€) very steep. The atmosphere is quite uncomfortable (lighting concept and furnishings are not my thing). The service is friendly but average. The food sometimes came quickly, sometimes it took forever. Somehow quite confused and often something was missing. Many dishes that should have been warm or even hot were very cold - I don't understand. All in all "okay" - but nothing more.

I came across the restaurant through TikTok and because of the good reviews I celebrated my birthday at Maki&Tea. Unfortunately, I have to say that I find the restaurant a bit "overhyped" and that the quality of the food (especially sushi) is not as good as in comparable restaurants with a similar concept. Some orders also arrived very late or not at all. What I liked was that in addition to the all you can eat you could also choose an all you can drink, which is very worthwhile for heavy drinkers. I probably won't come back again.

Most of the food was served cold. Food itself is not particularly special. Sushi was okay. Long wait for food but understandable with the house full. Price performance poor. Any Chinese buffet restaurant is better.

We were there on a Tuesday, the food was generally not good, there were few dishes that were really tasty and warm. Unfortunately most of it didn't arrive at all (couldn't even eat 3 rounds because the food never arrived) I thought these drinks were good, the drink selection was also very good. The advertising that many people see on Tiktok and co. make is not authentic at all. I wouldn't go there again. Unfortunately we weren't the only ones who complained, but everyone who sat near us complained. At least the employees were friendly. Conclusion: unfortunately not worth it at all.

Unfortunately, the orders are only partially or not delivered at all. When we asked, we were told that the orders would be delivered straight away. Unfortunately I cannot confirm this. Some of the food was cold or at least lukewarm. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this restaurant.

Unfortunately not worth the hype! Orders only arrived partially or not at all. Some orders from the 2nd round came earlier than from the 1st round. We waited almost an hour for a drink, which we were charged in full. Plates and empty bottles were not cleared away at all. Most of the waiters neither spoke to you nor seemed very friendly. The dessert selection is really manageable. Most of it was empty. The ice cream scoops were floating in standing, dirty water that I don't want to know when they were last changed. There are much better all-you-can-eat restaurants that are managed even when the number of guests is high. It's a shame about the money, we would have preferred to get a kebab on the corner. We won't be coming back

The food was very tasty, service was great. The only drawback: the waiting time, even though a reservation was made. We were already sitting at the table and were being stared at stupidly by those waiting as if we were to blame for the restaurant taking too many reservations. The service was very nice and accommodating. The food came quickly and was very tasty, only some of the sushi was a bit too big. The drinks flat rate is quite good, only branded drinks are offered. The dessert was also very tasty. We were there on a Friday evening and it wasn't too crowded.

The restaurant is very nicely decorated and has super friendly service. This was our second time there and I have never been more enthusiastic about sushi tried it and was pleasantly surprised. Super tasty combined variants and too than fried. Everything was freshly prepared and very nicely presented. The quality was top, whether beef, chicken, duck, fish or shrimp and the selection was very sufficient. The starters and desserts were also very tasty. The drinks flat rate is also very good, where you have to help yourself, but the selection is more than great. If you prefer to have it served, you pay 1 euro extra for a glass of beer (tapped), for example. However, warm drinks are brought to the table free of charge. We were all very satisfied (6 people) and we will come back, not just run of the mill Restaurant, but something special. It was a really nice evening and we can only recommend it. Keep it up and you will make many guests happy.

We went to this restaurant spontaneously and for the first time. The reservation was made relatively spontaneously 2 hours in advance for the late afternoon. The concept of trays and ordering rounds is now quite normal for us. What made the restaurant stand out was the delicious food. From appetizers to sushi to the warm dishes, almost everything we tried was good. You can't like everything all the time, but that's normal. The food was of good quality, fresh and tasty. Really good for this price. We'll be back!

Despite reservations everything was totally chaotic. None of the staff knew where to go. Unfortunately, the food arrived every 5 to 10 minutes, which was very annoying since we were there as a small group. The food was excessively greasy and not tasty. The refrigerators are in the middle of the entrance, which I don't think is nice because there was a big queue there and I couldn't really get to it. Dessert was also an absolute disaster. Nothing freshly made, everything bought cheaply. The shop is really poorly done, copied too much from others and hasn't developed its own proper system.

I would like to note that this one star is even too much, but I had to give it for the rating. We with 8 people today were a TOTAL failure, never again!! The staff was inattentive and unfriendly, half of the food didn't arrive at all and it wasn't particularly good either, every Chinese snack bar around the corner is of better quality! Several times we politely asked to place our orders and asked what it looked like and all we got was a shrug of the shoulders and annoyed, uninterested looks. Conclusion: Mecces would have been worth more!

We were there with 5 people. We made a reservation, otherwise we probably wouldn't have gotten a table. It was busy, sushi took a while, but all the other dishes arrived quickly. 2 hours is more than enough to fill you up, while you wait between rounds you can put the next round in your shopping cart. There was a large selection of drinks. Non-alcoholic drinks were included in the flat rate. Beer costs 1 euro extra per beer, which is still very cheap. The food was great, there was little to complain about. Great selection for everyone, even if you're not a fan of sushi.

Full 5 stars for this great restaurant! You can simply order your food on your tablet and it even arrives relatively quickly. Everything was very convincing and tasty, great ambience and friendly staff.

We found it quite tasty, although a bit too crowded and loud on a Sunday evening. Accordingly, it unfortunately took a little longer for the food to arrive. The service was still very friendly, even though they were stressed. We would visit the restaurant again, but avoid the weekend because it was too loud and crowded for us personally. :-)

Maki&Tea has been open for about a week and still needs to work on its service. With a maximum time of two hours for orders, you shouldn't wait more than an hour for your food. We ordered four rounds with a total of 35 small dishes, of which unfortunately 8 didn't arrive before we paid for them. - definitely a no go. And the answer was "yes, we've only been open for a week". It doesn't have to be an issue that the team gets used to it, but you still have to come up with something. The food tasted great - at least what we were able to try. The atmosphere on Saturdays was of course very loud and very confusing with many people, as we were not the only people who had to wait for their food. The staff was otherwise friendly, but not very accommodating. Especially at the price, the restaurant concept should work and if you're still working on it, you have to pay for any cancellations - so you can go home really hungry. Edit: We were there for the second time, had a different table, during the week and a little later at the time. Unfortunately the entire order still didn't arrive, but it was much quicker and only two dishes were missing. We definitely didn't go home hungry. One measure taken by Maki and tea to better coordinate orders is to go from 5 dishes per person down to 4, which is clearly enough and apparently worked well! The service staff also seemed much more oriented this time, everyone was friendly at all times and worked quickly.

It was our first time but certainly not our last. Really great service staff and a large selection of sushi, including something more unusual. The grilled meat was also juicy and very well cooked. Overall, a very successful evening. Thank you for that.
