We were there for the reopening of Maki&Tea and it was delicious and everything was fresh. The atmosphere is very inviting and modern, there are various seating options and everything is very stylishly furnished, you can tell that a lot of love has been put into it. Despite the higher number of customers, we were served quickly and the staff was very friendly. It definitely wasn't the last time here 👌🏻!

Today at the new opening everything that could possibly have gone wrong went wrong. We waited 45 minutes for our sushi and only when we asked again were we told that a mistake had been made. The drinks were not served like the pictures in the profile there was no kind of decoration on the drink. When we wanted to pay, the EC devices suddenly didn't work and only cash or Paypal was possible. All in all, unfriendly service staff and the service leaves a lot to be desired!!!

Today I was in the new restaurant maki & tea, this restaurant is extremely nice and modernly furnished and the food is very tasty, I tried a lot of things and everything tasted very good and the staff is extremely nice and friendly. We had the waitress Mandy with the red ones hair, she was a real sweetheart, I also thought the price was great. All in all, it was a nice evening with great food and drinks. I'll be coming to you more often now, thank you very much 😘👏🏽👍🏼

So we were there for a test meal and there was a huge selection of sushi that was also very tasty. Otherwise everything went well in terms of service and the decoration in the restaurant itself makes you very inviting to eat. The couch is very comfortable

Review goes to EDO: It's just an unbelievable shame that this store has been closed for so long and apparently won't be reopening. We were there often and enjoyed it very much. Everything always tasted excellent. Everything was fresh and warm when it came to the table. We really spent many, many hours at EDO with friends. At the end, we would have been happy if it had been said that it would be closed and not that it was a renovation. If you open again at some point, somewhere, my girls and I will be the first to come eat in the store, I promise you! ❤️ all the best!

Even before the opening, I think it's an outrage that Maki&Tea is taking over around 720 very positive reviews from its predecessor, Edo, without having done anything at all. Decorating with other people's feathers before the start... works for you...

Delicious food, good service. Have been there a few times, service is always immediate and the food is served to the table very quickly and warm. Salmon and beef have never been served dry, which is often the case in similar restaurants. I'm excited to see what the restaurant will look like after the renovation.

Edo Sushi is a great restaurant if you want to eat good sushi in a comfortable and relaxed manner. There is always space, the atmosphere is calm and the friendly robot brings you your order. The sushi quality is decent, there is a good dessert menu and the service is always friendly. I can only recommend.

Reserved a table online for my birthday. I was wondering why I didn't get any confirmation. At the agreed time we stood in front of a closed restaurant. The only sign on the door that said it was being renovated, even though the store didn't look like it was being renovated. Two days later I received an email with a photo of the note. Of course that doesn't help me anymore.

Is the restaurant still open? Google says it is temporarily closed. I received a message over the phone saying that the number was not in use (I had reached someone to reserve a table a few weeks ago) There is also no response via WhatsApp.

The food was great and they have a really great selection of dishes. I've been there a few times and have never been disappointed. Price/performance ratio is definitely right here and what I think is very good is that it's not too loud there even when there's a lot going on. I'll definitely be back!

The shop looks neat and promising, but the sushi wasn't fresh! The salmon in particular had a foul smell, which is a shame because I only came for the salmon. Sashimi is not included in the price either! The service wasn't good either. We waited a long time for our food, there were often mix-ups and they weren't friendly either. Total disappointment! In summary, not recommended at all for €33. Never again! :(

Value for money for 32.90 p.p. is an absolute disaster. Endless usury. Prices are hidden so that after the rather standard sushi there is a nasty surprise. Employees themselves have no idea what types of fish are served. Orders must be entered impersonally via tablet. Ambience is ok with the nice service robot. Anyway. Otherwise never recommended. You'll never see us there again. A pity!

My partner and I spontaneously went to your store for the first time today. And are totally thrilled! In contrast to many other sushi shops, the selection of sushi is totally unusual and diverse. Far from the food, all the staff were very friendly and tried to clear the plates quickly. When it comes to the store itself, we can say that it is super spacious and you can have a good conversation without a lot of background noise. The little robot is a cool benefit. In the Overall, you have gained new “regular customers”. We will be back and would be happy to recommend you!

Food was good, only everything with non-raw tuna/salmon was spicy. Dessert delicious On a Sunday at 9 p.m. everything was no longer available because the hairdresser had already closed and other things. A pity. Service is very nice and quick, the robot is also cool. Average food for too high a price. Yes, the food there is fresh, some of the individual dishes are tasty, but unfortunately there was nothing that blew us away or impressed us. The restaurant is clean but has something of a canteen about it. In addition, there was an unpleasant smell of frying oil and the clothes also smelled like it when I left. The staff is nice.

Das Essen war lecker, allerdings sind die Portionen sehr klein. Sollte man mit einberechnen, da man nur 5 Runden bestellen kann. Manchmal kam es uns so vor, als würde man am Fließband essen. Der Stress der Servicekräfte war deutlich zu spüren. Unsere Teller wurden wortlos abgeräumt und wir wurden nicht einmal gefragt ob alles in Ordnung ist. Stattdessen wurden wir alle 5 Minuten daran erinnert, eine neue Runde zu bestellen. Scheinbar sollte der Tisch schnell wieder frei werden. Das Ambiente hat uns auch nicht wirklich überzeugt. Auf großem Platz, viel zu viele Tische meiner Meinung nach, viel zu laut und man hat einfach keine schöne Zeit für sich. Insgesamt haben wir für 2x „Buffet“, eine Fanta und ein Wasser 86€ bezahlt. Unserer Meinung nach nicht gerechtfertigt.

Hallo zusammen! Ich hoffe euch geht es gut. Ich wollte euch kurz von meinem ersten Besuch in einem neuen Restaurant erzählen. Es war wirklich beeindruckend! Das Essen und der Service haben mich komplett fasziniert. Obwohl es keinen Lillet auf der Karte gab, hat die Kellnerin extra nachgeschaut und ihn nach meinem Wunsch mit Ginger Ale gemischt. Das allein zeigt, wie viel Wert sie auf erstklassigen Service legen. Das Essen war einfach unglaublich! Jedes Gericht wurde mit viel Liebe zum Detail zubereitet. Nachdem wir bereits die dritte Runde bestellt hatten, wollten wir zahlen und gehen. Aber die Damen waren total überrascht und meinten, wir sollten doch noch bleiben, da es noch Dessert gab. Wir haben dankend abgelehnt und sind glücklich und zufrieden aus dem Laden gegangen. Falls ihr also mal Lust auf ein außergewöhnliches Restauranterlebnis habt, kann ich euch diesen Ort nur wärmstens empfehlen. Viele Grüße

Waren zu 6 unter der Woche da. Waren total begeistert. Die Essensqualität passte auf jeden Fall. Der Service war genau so spitze. Die Küche schnell. Kommen gern wieder….

Super, die Bestellungen erfolgen übers Tablet und sind schnell am Tisch. Das Essen ist sehr lecker und vielfältig. Der Roboter ist lustig, aber der Service durch das super freundliche Personal ist unschlagbar.

Delicious Japan Food in Oberhausen. Really great tasting sushi in different variations which is fresh prepared from the chefs in the open kitchen. Modern ordering system via tablet app and delivery with a service bot or from the nice staff. The ordering with the family was a bit troublesome at the beginning as we all had to agree what to order first. Only buffet and no option to order a la cart. This would be etter as we didn’t had so much hunger. Food is very delicious and you can order all 15 Minutes 5 pieces from the app. Fast preparation and service. We payed round about 120€ for 2 parents and 2 kids with drinks inkluded. Parking is free directly in front of thr restaurant. I can recommend the restaurant. Book a table in advance and reserve it!

Wir kommen immer wieder gerne hier her. Super Essen und große Auswahl beim all you can eat Buffet und schöne Atmosphäre. Bestellt wird bequem mit Tablet am Tisch.

Das Essen war lecker, bestellt wird über Tablet, teilweise wird man von einem Roboter bedient der aber sehr süß ist. Dieser bringt bereits bestellte Speisen an den Tisch, manches wird vom Personal selbst geliefert. Nettes Ambiente

Waren zum ersten Mal dort und es war okay. Das Ambiente war ganz nett, die warmen Gerichte und die Getränke waren sehr lecker und das Eis zum Dessert war mein persönliches Highlight. Mein größter Kritikpunkt ist das Sushi. Das Sushi hat im Gegensatz zu den anderen Gerichten überhaupt nicht geschmeckt. Der Reis war sehr seltsam, gummiartig. Außerdem ist die Auswahl an Gerichten beim All-You-Can-Eat sehr klein. Es gab auch Mitarbeiter, die sehr unfreundlich waren, dann hat man sich natürlich nicht sehr wohl gefühlt. Würde ich nur empfehlen, wenn man nicht unbedingt Sushi essen möchte.

Bestellen via een tablet kwaliteit eten is vergelijkbaar met het restaurant sumo zoals je deze in Nederland kent dus best priemaaa

Leider mussten wir feststellen, dass die Auswahl stark nachgelassen hat. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis passt nicht mehr. 22.11.2023: Heute mal wieder da gewesen. Wir waren wieder begeistert. Deshalb wieder 5 Sterne!

"Klassisches" Sushi-Tablet-All you can eat-Restaurant mit Diner-artigem flair - hat mir von der Einrichtung her persönlich nicht so gut gefallen, aber das ist ja bekanntlich Geschmackssache. Es gibt einige Speisen, die es sonst bei den meisten Restaurants dieser Art so nicht gibt, was ein Plus ist. Der Service war sehr gut: nette Bedienung & die Speisen waren alle sehr schnell am Tisch, es wurde auch nichts durcheinander gebracht, gefehlt hat auch nichts.

Essen heiß!, bestes Sushi in Oberhausen,dass wir gegessen haben, Service auf einem Freitag Abend super flott, Roboterkellner witzig, modern eingerichtet mit offener Küche. Für uns ein klares Plus und transparent. Sauber und Akustik trotz offenem Raum gut.Kinderstühle sind vorhanden, barrierefrei. Preis-/Leistung stimmt. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Immer lecker und qualitativ gut

Mooie tent waar de prijs ook nog eens zacht is. Daarnaast is de ruimte ook mooi. Er is zeer veel ruimte om te lopen en het zitten is ook nog eens prettig. De robot die de bestellingen rondbrengt is ook nog eens leuk gedaan. Volgende keer komen we graag terug.

Am Freitag das erste Mal da gewesen,und ich kann nur sagen sehr freundliche Bedienung, das Essen kam immer sehr schnell! Das war nicht letzte Besuch!!

Gestern war ich mit einem Bekannten im Edo essen. Das Essen wurde mit einem kleinem Notebook bestellt. Eine große Anzahl an Gerichten stehen zur Auswahl. Danach brachte uns ein fahrbarer Roboter die kleinen aber feinen Portionen. Das Essen wurde frisch gekocht und jeweils schnellstmöglichst serviert. Liebevoll in kleinen Schälchen angerichtet. Die Qualität des Essens war fantastisch. Alles auf den Punkt gebraten oder gekocht. Wir hatten sogar Lammkottelets. Krabben, Sushi, Seegrassalat, Muscheln, Hähnchen. Usw. Mein Bekannter ist Chinese und war genauso begeistert wie ich. Ich komme auf alle Fälle wieder und werde dann wieder das hervorragende Essen geniessen. Toll.

Wir gehen hier gerne hin und genießen die gute asiatische Kost. Auch die Getränke werden kreativ serviert. Das Ambiente ist angemessen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und auch der Serviceroboter, der zuweilen serviert, bereitet Freude. Ein Stück asiatische Lebensweise mitten in Oberhausen. Ich freue mich schon auf den nächsten Besuch.

Gutes Sushi, eine große Auswahl mit speziellen Varianten zum Probieren, nette und schnelle Bedienung. Empfehlen kann ich die Mango-Lachs-Makis, die scharfen Lachs-Makis und die Avocado-Nigiri.

Eines der besseren All-you-can-eat-Restaurants im Ruhrgebiet. Das Essen schmeckt größtenteils so wie man es vo einem Lokal dieser Art erwarten kann. Es gibt Höhen und Tiefen, das Sushi ist okay, aber hat natürlich nicht die höchste Güteklasse. Die Auswahl ist gut und abwechslungsreich. Wer authentisch japanisch essen möchte, fährt ca 35 Km weiter nach Düsseldorf. Alle anderen dürften hier auf ihre Kosten kommen. Der Service ist insgesamt überzeugend, das Essen wird immer zügig an den Tisch gebracht. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam, leider aber auch etwas aufdringlich, wenn es darum geht, die Teller abzuräumen. Wenn jemand noch isst, dann nimmt man ihm nicht den Teller schon weg! Das Ambiente ist etwas trostlos, dafür war die Lautstärke für ein Restaurant dieser Art angenehm.

Super leckeres Essen, ähnlich wie andere Buffets, aber keiner muss den Tisch verlassen, dank Tabletbestellung. Wirkt auf den ersten Blick teuer, mit Groupon-Gutschein aber ausgleichbar. Einzig die frittierten Sachen haben meinen Geschmack nicht getroffen, ist aber Ansichtssache. Bedienung Ok, nicht überaus freundlich, aber auch nicht unfreundlich.

Wir waren Stammkunden und fast jede Woche da. Die Bedienungen wurden immer unfreundlicher. Gestern hatte ich Papier im essen und ich wurde gefragt ob ich nicht kochen kann . Ich bin sehr sehr enttäuscht. Sehr frauenfeindlich!!!! Werde es nieeeee wieder besuchen und allen Frauen rate ich ab, das Restaurant zu besuchen . Die Kellnerinnen lästern und sind sehr sehr frauenfeindlich

Die Gerichte sind durch die Bank weg alle sehr lecker. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Nun kommt allerdings für mich eine Sache die überhaupt nicht geht: Wenn bestellt wird werden die Bestellungen gesammelt bis genug Gerichte zusammen kommen das sich die Zubereitung lohnt,ich habe auf einig3 Gerichte mehr als 45 Minuten gewartet. Bei meinem vorletzten Gang habe ich nach 60 Minuten immer noch keine Garnelen bekommen. Ich finde das diese Vorgehensweise nicht geht. Also für mich das Lokal ein NO GO.

Alle waren mit den Speisen sehr zufrieden, alles wurde zügig und frisch zubereitet gebracht. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich, Es war ruhig, so dass man sich auch gut unterhalten konnte. Wir hatten eine gute Zeit. Das Restaurant ist relativ neu und startete in der schwierigen Corona-Zeit. Wir möchten es deshalb empfehlen, es ist auch Lieferservice möglich.
