Today I had a kebab plate and a freshly brewed Çay and I am more than satisfied! The kebab plate was absolutely delicious - the meat tender and juicy, the side dishes fresh and perfectly seasoned. Every bite was a delight! The Çay rounded the whole thing off perfectly: hot, aromatic and exactly how you want a good Turkish tea. What made the visit even more pleasant were the staff: incredibly friendly, attentive and warm. You really feel welcome here. Terrible store! The two guys behind the counter can't do anything and don't understand anything, plus they're totally unfriendly, extremely expensive, wrong food and, as others have already written here, I had a total stomach ache after eating. It's best to avoid this thing.

First of all, Edessa was my favorite kebab restaurant for a long time. The ambience is great and much nicer than the usual “döner kebab shop”, we really enjoyed being here. Unfortunately, recently there is no longer any kebab meat made from 100% veal, but instead cheap ground poultry meat - which tastes absolutely bland. They used to be real slices of veal, deliciously seasoned and great in taste. Clear step backwards and no longer recommended. All dishes without kebab meat are still excellent, especially lamb or vegetarian alternatives. But it's best to give kebab dishes a wide berth. The current development is very, very sad.

Food is okay, but service is rubbish. I've ordered there 3 times so far and they've forgotten my sauce every time. Last time I asked again, he told me three times to my face that the sauce was in it... of course it wasn't. If you want to keep your customers, you probably shouldn't lie to their faces repeatedly. Doner box with fries to take away for €8. The order was quick, preparation took a while, but a 5 minute wait is ok. The takeaway box comes in a plastic bag, no fork or napkin included. The fries weren't fried long enough, and the meat wasn't grilled until crispy either. Everything together in the box with sauce is not a real treat. For the money I've had much better kebab boxes. The service was friendly, the furnishings were quite modern and everything seemed clean. At peak times you definitely have to have some time.

We had doner plate and doner kebab here today. We found everything very tasty, good service. The sauces are also delicious and are provided in small bowls upon request.

Well, I can't recommend the meat - typical separated meat without great spices or taste and quite small portions (in my case kebab box). The employees were friendly and the atmosphere was inviting, but please swap the meat.

I got a kebab box twice. One time I was given rice instead of fries. When I said that I had ordered fries, I was given an estimated 15 fries. In addition, both kebab boxes were very small that you would need 3 of them to fill you up. Never again! Otherwise it tasted ok.

We looked all over Frankfurt for a good kebab shop and this one has great service, delicious food and a great price-performance ratio! The kebab is juicy and there is a good selection of sauces. The baklava tastes delicious like it was made by mom. We moved and tried several other shops and were looking for our “hey, let's get kebab today” shop, which is always good. The one where you can't do anything wrong. This is definitely our favorite kebab shop.

Not recommended I ordered a spicy kebab without tomatoes, the meat was completely cold and tomatoes were included and it wasn't spicy at all. The staff didn't care about the complaint at all.

In general, there is no restaurant in Eschborn that I know of that doesn't specialize in cuisine. What I have eaten at Edessa so far has also been delicious. BUT, as a guest, I expect a restaurant to be friendly and accommodating. Not that you feel like they don't care whether you come back or not. Of course: As long as there are no disagreements, almost all restaurants are good. If there is a problem, the wheat is quickly separated from the chaff and EDESSA is also one of the chaff when it comes to customer friendliness. The details of the incident would go too far here. It happens that not everything works and also misunderstandings. The question is always HOW a restaurant deals with it. I doubt whether it's worth it for a restaurant to lose a lot of guests at once because of a few euros!

Allgemein gibt es in Eschborn kein mir bekanntes Restaurant, dass die Küche nicht beherrscht. Auch das, was ich bei Edessa bisher gegessen habe, war lecker, das ABER ich erwarte als Gast von einem Restaurant, dass sie freundlich und entgegenkommend sind. Nicht, dass man das Gefühl hat, es ist ihnen egal, ob man wiederkommt oder nicht. Natürlich: Solange es keine Unstimmigkeiten gibt, sind fast alle Restaurants gut. Gibt es ein Problem, trennt sich aber schnell die Spreu vom Weizen und auch EDESSA gehört in Punkto Kundenfreundlichkeit leide zur Spreu. (Die Details zum Vorkommnis würden zu weit führen) Ob es sich für eine Gaststätte auszahlt, dass man wegen ein paar Euro etliche auf einmal Gäste verliert, wage ich zu bezweifeln!
