Eats in Wentorf bei Hamburg

I've often had coffee and cake in the cafeteria. And I would have expected more from the lunch menu (Holzfeller)... I'll still come back if I get the chance; the price/performance ratio was still good.

We actually only came to the furniture store for food. We had the Wiener Schnitzel and fish and chips. It was all okay, but nothing special. Unfortunately, they charge extra for ketchup and mayo, which I don't think is right, since it's included with the fries. Also not okay: when paying with a credit card, they charge an extra 50 cents processing fee. Where does that happen?

I've been there several times. Delicious lunch menu with constantly changing dishes that are always freshly prepared. The waiting time for the food is also quite acceptable. And no excessive prices either

We wanted to have a delicious meal in the restaurant at 4 p.m. on Friday, but the chef behind the counter was no longer in the mood or was already thinking about finishing work or the weekend - despite the sign saying "Hot food until 5:30 p.m."

Really good food, tasty and also ok in terms of price. The checking of the vaccination status was carried out flawlessly. The lady at the checkout was very friendly, there's nothing to complain about.

Since this is a serious allegation in times of the pandemic, we would of course like to respond immediately. According to the 3G rules, only those who have been tested, vaccinated, or recovered are allowed to enter our restaurant. Especially due to the long closure, we take this issue very seriously. Our employees are all fully vaccinated, and our guests must provide proof of one of the 3Gs before entering the restaurant. Proof of this will be checked by a member of staff directly at the entrance or, at the latest, at the cash register. There are no exceptions. For this reason, we verifiably turn away 10-20 customers almost daily, who would certainly be very welcome, especially after the long loss of income. We cannot understand your impression that guests were "sneaking by," as they could also have been guests who were just briefly using the restroom, returning from a customer meeting, or leaving something in their car, etc. – in other words, customers who had already provided proof.

On September 19, 2021, no vaccination certificates or negative tests were required upon entry. People were able to simply sneak past the person standing at the entrance. I find that irresponsible in this day and age.

Very friendly staff.. The food was delicious and the portions were generous.. Even for small guests, the portions were very generous.. Better than many restaurants.. 👍
