Eats in Wentorf bei Hamburg

Often enjoyed with coffee and cake in the canteen. And a lunch (Holzfeller), I would have hoped for more... I will still come again when the opportunity arises, but the price-performance ratio was balanced.

We actually only came to the furniture store to eat. We had the Viennese style schnitzel and fish and chips. That was all okay, but nothing special either. Unfortunately, ketchup & mayo is charged extra, which I don't think is correct as it comes with the fries. Also not okay: if you pay with a credit card you have to pay an extra 50 cents processing fee. Where can you find something like that?

I've been there several times. Delicious lunch menu with constantly changing dishes that are always freshly prepared. The waiting time for the food is also quite acceptable. And no excessive prices either

We wanted to have a delicious meal in the restaurant on Friday at 4 p.m., but the cook behind the counter didn't feel like it anymore or was already thinking about the end of work or the weekend - despite the sign saying "Hot food until 5:30 p.m."

Really good food, tasty and also ok in terms of price. The checking of the vaccination status was carried out flawlessly. The lady at the checkout was very friendly, there's nothing to complain about.

Since this is a significant allegation in times of the pandemic, we would of course like to comment on it immediately. According to the 3G rules, only those who have been tested, vaccinated and those who have recovered are allowed to enter our restaurant. We take this issue very seriously, especially due to the long closure period. Our employees are all fully vaccinated and our guests must provide proof of one of the 3Gs before entering the restaurant. The evidence will be checked by an employee directly at the entrance or at the cash desk at the latest.  There are no exceptions. For this reason, we demonstrably send away 10 - 20 customers every day, who would certainly be very welcome, especially after the long loss of income. We cannot understand your impression that guests "sneaked past", because they could also have been guests who only briefly used the toilets or came from a customer meeting or forgot something in the car, etc., i.e. customers who had already provided proof.

On September 19, 2021, no vaccination certificates or negative tests were required when entering the restaurant. People could just sneak past the person standing at the entrance. I find that irresponsible in this day and age.

Very friendly staff.. Food very tasty and decent portions.. Very good portions even for small guests.. Better than many restaurants.. 👍
