EAT HAPPY in Rostock

For someone who rarely or hardly ever eats sushi, it will be an experience. However, it's generally not good. The fried rolls are overstuffed with rice, so the filling doesn't have a chance to shine. There's a wide selection of cold rolls, but the fish isn't high quality. At the buffet, one of the nigiri rolls was smoked salmon instead of sashimi. Even the cold rolls use so much rice to make you feel full faster, and the texture is reminiscent of a "lump of rice." We've only ordered once and eaten at the buffet once because we wanted to give everything a chance and the place had such good reviews – undeservedly so. For the price and our expectations, there are much better restaurants in Rostock.

How can something that's supposedly fresh have so many additives? My masago avocado sushi contains six different types of sugar. It also contains colorings and preservatives. At that price, I expect something different.

The food was delicious, the staff was very friendly, and it was cute and clean!

The sushi is great and very fresh for pre-packaged goods! Highly recommended! However, sometimes the selection is limited to nonexistent. Recently, around 11 a.m., for example, I only found maybe 9 or 10 packages. Unfortunately, none of them were to my taste. Compared to other days when the shelves are packed, this was very disappointing.

Great selection, fresh and tasty, prices ok.
