Eat Happy in Berlin

The food was delicious, just as expected. Arrived perfectly warm.

The old lady was very unfriendly. The mango soda was watery. After we mentioned this and ordered a Coke instead, the price of the expensive soda was deducted from our bill (€5.90 for a small Coke). I was in a bad mood during the meal; never again. The rice was not well seasoned.

The last time I bought something there was last year. I always loved eating there. Today I treated myself to the typical portion – only to discover, with great disappointment, that the amount has now been reduced to a tiny size. Before, I couldn't fit a piece of sushi in my mouth in one go – the portions were generous, and you could fill yourself up for €15. Now I'm standing in front of my plate and can hardly believe what I'm seeing. I don't like eating from plastic plates, so I always use the same plate I bought specifically for sushi. The one you see in the picture costs €15. Before New Year's Eve, it was the same menu, but back then the plate was full – the pieces were almost twice as big. Just embarrassing. I won't shop there anymore. I feel ripped off.

We ordered for delivery, and it arrived in a reasonable amount of time. All the meals were packed together in boxes, so we had to gather our sushi rolls together. They also provided plenty of chopsticks and sauces. The sushi really impressed me, except for a hair in the food. I was hoping for a bit more, which is a shame.
