One of our favorite restaurants for many years

Unfortunately, we weren't satisfied with the food; it was either lacking seasoning or far too salty. The price-performance ratio of the appetizer left something to be desired, but the price-to-quantity ratio of the main course was very good. We had to wait a long time for our food, but there were quite a few guests. The ambiance and service were good.

We've been to this restaurant several times and have always been very satisfied. Dropping in without a reservation is absolutely no problem; we always find a spot. The service is exceptionally friendly. We have nothing but positive things to say about the food. It comes quickly, tastes good, and the portions are generous. Changing the side dish is no problem at all. Overall, everything was to our satisfaction, and we'll be returning here more often.

Seit meiner Kindheit, liebe ich "jugoslawisches" Essen. Nach der Teilung Jugoslawen, sehe ich mich ehesten bei den Kroaten. Die dortige Bevölkerungsstruktur lässt noch Schwein ohne schlechtes Gewissen zu. Obwohl klar war, dass ich den Grillteller nicht schaffen würde: den wollte ich einfach haben. Endlich mal vernüftige Pommes Frites, die lecker sind. Endlich mal ein leckerer Djuvecreis, der nicht totgekocht wurde aber auch nicht noch Biss hat. Kommen wir zum Fleisch: Mein bisheriger Liebling war immer Raznjicij, aber seine Cevapcici haben leider meinen Raznjicij geschlagen und die fand ich echt klasse. Also bleibt nur eines für das nächste Mal: Pola-Pola: die Kombination von beiden. Sehr nette Bedienung.

After a long time we returned to eat. Very friendly staff, very tasty food at fair prices.

We just had dinner here with nice neighbors. The service is great, super nice, and funny. The menu is varied and the food tastes very good. Price-performance ratio is adapted to today's times. The portions do justice to the prices. We were here not for the first nor for the last time Thank you very much, it was super tasty and I would definitely recommend eating here.

The restaurant is very comfortable and has a somewhat rustic decor, definitely inviting you to linger! The staff was very accommodating, polite, and helpful. The food was incredibly delicious; we've rarely had such delicious Croatian food – this definitely won't be our last visit!

Appetizer: The mixed platter was good, but I would have liked more breaded feta cheese and fewer jalapeños. Can't say anything against it, it was very tasty 👍🏻 Dessert: The selection is relatively standard but okay. The tartufo was just a tartufo. The entrance door looks dated, but inside it's pleasant and quiet. The waiter/chef is the "Ronaldinho of plate tricks."

Unfortunately, after the change of ownership, it's not as great as before. The service was very good and friendly.

We always enjoy visiting the Dubrovnik restaurant. There is a wide range of Croatian and German dishes and an additional seasonal menu. The staff is very friendly and the service is great. Food tasted a lot like convenience food. It was only possible to reorder drinks if we asked; no one came to us on their own. Restaurant didn't convince me.

Update: not nearly as good anymore. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio no longer fits. We used to love eating here. Today was probably the last time. The quality has simply deteriorated too much. But the service is still super friendly. You actually feel very comfortable here.

Very nice atmosphere. There were four of us there. A Croatian restaurant that also offers seasonal (asparagus). Asparagus wasn't woody and was a bit firm to the bite, which I found to be very successful. Grilled salmon was also great. My other table neighbors also really enjoyed it. The beef liver to the point. Service staff very attentive and very friendly. I can recommend it with a clear conscience. Gladly again.

Ate super tasty. Very nice and helpful staff. We were there on the terrace twice on Sundays. We felt very comfortable. Will definitely come back.

Service was really nice and that was it. Food is simply bad for the prices. Schnitzel Dubrovnik with cream sauce. What can I say. It tastes like someone just dumped a ladle of whipped cream on it. Tasteless and boring. Ordered water bottle. Bottle came to the table uncapped. Pure skepticism. Justified. From the label it appears that the bottle has already expired for a month. Water is a transit product in a restaurant. So you can safely assume that tap water was filled here. Incomprehensible. The grilled vegetables were also some of the worst I've eaten in a long time. Boring ingredients and taste?! Yes...it just tastes like oil. Onion roast was also in the portfolio. Unfortunately it just doesn't taste good either. Absolutely not recommended and a big rip off. In particular the impudence of selling tap water in Hassia bottles for a lot of money. I hardly believe that this is the norm in Croatia.

A very nice restaurant that we have been visiting for many years. The operators are super nice and very friendly (you really feel welcome as a guest). The restaurant is very well maintained and comfortably furnished. There are a lot of dishes and they always taste great, especially the platters for two people. The meat is of very good quality (I'm very sensitive to that). For me one of the best Croatian restaurants in the area!

Was invited to dinner there today. I ordered breaded feta cheese as a starter, which was really OK. As a main course, rump steak medium, with herb butter, and fries. Unfortunately, the rump steak wasn't medium rare and the fries were so thin. I expect real fries with a rump steak and not such thin, flaky fries. The service was great, no question, but unfortunately the price/performance wasn't right for me at all. Next order, if I go there again, no more rump steak.

A solid and consistent performance for months and years! In terms of price/performance, 5 stars! Super nice running couple, the cuisine is consistently good and really tasty, even compared to the cuisine in Croatia (we know the comparison). Good home cooking, in addition to Croatian dishes there are also always very nice, seasonal specials and at a consistently high level! Service is otherwise always nice, courteous and quick. Friends were also enthusiastic several times. Thank you, we'll be happy to come back again and again! Addition: Even visiting with small children is relaxed and a dream! Addendum: As you can see from the date, my rating was based on the previous tenants. I can't rate the new tenants yet.

For years it has been the go-to restaurant when we want to eat out with the family at Christmas. Tasty, fair price and friendly service - and the schnapps at the end is the best anyway ;)

What to say than a place to recommend! Amazing food accompanied with super friendly but also very professional stuff members. We are lucky enough to get a table even without a reservation. Variety of traditional Croatian dishes prepared with a chefs signature. Menu is quite extensive with vegetarian option as well so everybody can find something to enjoy. We are definitely looking forward to visit again.

Auch ohne Reservierung haben wir an einem Samstagabend einen Tisch für 5 Personen bekommen. Das Essen war sehr lecker, der Service sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Absolute Empfehlung!

Das Essen steht den anderen Kroaten im Ort nichts nach, d.h. es ist sehr gut. Netter humorvoller Service, faire Preise und gute Portionen. Hinzu kommt, dass das Essen auch schön angerichtet wird.

Wir kommen immer wieder gerne hier her. Freundliche Bedienung, schneller Service und natürlich wirklich leckeres Essen.

Herzlicher Empfang, super nettes und aufmerksames Personal. Die Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken ist sehr vielfältig. Hier ist für jede*n etwas dabei. Das Essen ist mega lecker, der Koch versteht sein Handwerk. Einfach wärmstens zu empfehlen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und freuen uns schon sehr darauf. Daumen hoch und weiter so!

Leckeres Essen und richtig guter Service! Essen und Getränke kamen flott und das Personal war wirklich aufmerksam und sehr gut organisiert. Waren mit größerer Gruppe kurzfristig dort und es hat alles gepasst.

Es hat Anfang des Jahres ein Pächter- Wechsel stattgefunden , dadurch hat sich die Speisekarte etwas verändert, aber an der Qualität des Essens ist weiter hin super gut .

Das Personal ist super, höflich und zuvorkommend. Jedoch das Essen, leider nicht mein Geschmack. Für das klassische Gericht der slawischen Küche habe ich leckere cevapchichi erwartet. Diese waren, so angegeben, selbst gemacht. Doch durch die fein gemahlene Fleischmasse ist das Röllchen eher fest und kompakt. Schade😢 Der Beilagensalat dagegen war angenehm zum Essen, nicht zuviel Dressing und dies von leicht cremig/sahniger Konsistenz👍

Altes Gemäuer trifft auf neuen Pächter. Und der Wechsel hat den ehemaligen Bürgerstuben gut getan. So gibt es zum Beispiel eine Karte mit saisonalen Gerichten. Und wie sollte es anders sein, im Moment ist halt Spargel in seinen Variationen. So gibt es zum Beispiel Lachs mit Spargel. Gekostet wurde ein "gewöhnliches" Schweineschnitzel mit Salzkartoffeln. Die Kartoffeln wurden extra serviert und der Spargel war auf dem Punkt gar und ganze ohne das kleinste Bisschen Holzrückstand. Bei allem sind die Preise auf dem Boden geblieben, wenn auch die Portionen etwas kleiner wirken...

Seit dem das Restaurant Dubrovnik einen neuen Pächter hat, waren wir das erste Mal zum Abendessen zu Gast. Wir sind mehr als positiv überrascht. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis absolut angemessen. Das Essen hat uns außerordentlich gut geschmeckt und die Portionen waren weder zu groß noch zu klein. Okay, am Ambiente hat sich nichts verändert und vieles ist eben in die Jahre gekommen. Daran sollte man sich aber nicht stören, weil der Rest einfach passt.

Respekt. Essen war sehr gut. Unsere Sonderwünsche wurden perfekt berücksichtigt. Gerne nochmal.

Waren an einem Samstag Abend dort, das Restaurant war zu diesem Zeitpunkt nicht voll. Wartezeit auf die Speisen waren oke. Als wir die Bedienung fragten wann die restlichen Vorspeisen serviert werden, gab es eine schnippische Antwort, dass alles zusammen auf der Platte ist. Nach Aufforderung wurden dann noch Teller gebracht. Als der Hauptgang kam und wir nach den fehlenden Beilagen fragten, wurde wieder Schnippisch gefragt, „ Was den diesmal falsch wäre“. Darauf hin wurde sehr genervt die fehlende Beilagen gebracht. Als wir darauf hingewiesen haben, dass der falsche Hauptgang gebracht wurde hieß es das könne nicht sein! Was wir noch alle zu meckern hätten?! Als wir daraufhin sagten, dass wir bei diesem schlechten, unfreundlichen Service nicht wieder kommen wurde nur geantwortet: „Von mir aus müssen Sie nicht wieder kommen, das ist mir auch egal!“ Das Fleisch war zäh, Bratkartoffeln waren angebrannt & das Rotkraut war ebenfalls verkocht und schmeckte angebrannt. Wir werden leider nicht wiederkommen & können es sich nicht empfehlen.

Nach einem Shopping-Tag im Loop 5 waren wir unschlüssig, was wir essen wollten. Ein Blick im TripAdvisor empfahl uns Kroatisch. Mal was anderes, dachten wir uns, gibt es bei uns nicht so. Wir waren mehr als überrascht: das Essen war sehr gut, wir hatten die Grillplatte für 2 Personen, das u.a. Hacksteak gefüllt mit Schafskäse darauf war mega, die Bedienung freundlich und flott, wir haben draußen sehr gut gesessen in einer überraschend ruhigen Ecke und einen überaus fairen Preis bezahlt! Dieses Restaurant sieht uns wieder, sobald wir mal wieder in der Gegend sind!

War das erste mal in diesem Restaurant. Service war in Ordnung aber die Qualität nichts besonderes. Muss nicht nochmal.

Als wir im Sommer 2021 das erste Mal dort waren, waren wir begeitert. Die Lammkoteletts waren frisch und zart, der Tintenfisch Dalmatinischer Art super leckerund sehr fein. Dann beim zweiten Besuch (wir hatten uns sehr auf die Speisen gefreut) wurden wir bitter enttäuscht! Die Lammkoteletts waren hart und trocken, der Tintenfisch zäh, kalt, fast ungenießbar. Es ging fast das gesamte Gericht zurück Wir haben das dann auch reklamiert, die Reaktion war zurückhaltend: "Sorry, kann mal vorkommen" ....wir bitte??? Der Service an sich ist sehr freundlich, war aber mit der Reklamation offensichtlich überfordert. Die Speisen der anderen beiden Gäste waren ebenfalls nicht wie erwartet, aber okay.

Leckere typisch kroatische Speisen und ein toller Service. Besonders zu empfehlen ist die Grillplatte für Zwei. Hier kommt jeder auf seine Kosten. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Freundliche Begrüßung und Bewirtung. Die Getränke und Speisen wurden sehr zeitnah serviert. Die Speisen waren sehr gut gewürzt, gut gebraten, heiß...einfach lecker. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Es stand nicht auf der Karte: nur bei Pola-Pola... (Halb-Halb)... also versuche ich einfach nur Pola zu bestellen und zwar nur den Rasnicij-Teil. FANTASTISCH. Endlich mal jemand, der nicht das ausgetrocknete EU-Magerkotelette ohne Geschmack zu Rasnicij verarbeitet. Endlich Schweinekamm mit Geschmack und „böse“ oder besser „leckere“ Kalorien und Fett. Da ich leider die Ayvar-Zwiebel-Mischung nicht so mag, habe ich nach Ayvar pur gefragt. Kein Problem. Für mich war es eine Stunde der Himmel auf Erden. Während der Weihnachtszeit unbedingt reservieren (auch zu „unmöglichen“ Zeiten, wie 17:30 Uhr bei Öffnung), speziell, wenn man anschließend noch zu einer Veranstaltung im Bürgerzentrum möchte. Es war freitags: tolle Fischgerichte von der Mittagskarte konnte man auch abends bekommen.

Ich komme schon sehr lange hierher, jetzt auch gelegentlich zum Mittagstisch. Die Speisen sind immer sehr gut, die Gastgeber sehr freundlich und herzlich. Preis-/Leistungs-Verhältnis ist sehr gut. Es ist immer eine Freude, hier einzukehren, auch meinen Enkeln gefällt es hier.
