The best food ever. Consistent quality for decades. You can tell it's a family business. Father, son, son-in-law, and daughter are all there. You're greeted as if you know each other. Wishes are fulfilled. And afterward, as always, there's a schnapps or coffee of your choice. They prefer to invest everything in quality rather than in the decor; it's like "coming home." Delivery service with plates and a warming tray is also available upon request. I'd love to come back again and again.

Encouraged by the positive reviews, I went for a late Sunday lunch. We ordered Hungarian goulash and a grilled platter. To my surprise, the goulash was pepperless and underseasoned, while the grilled meat was overly salty and tough, and the rice was a substitute for typical "Croatian" rice. The service also left much to be desired. The waiter was rude. When we asked if there was Croatian beer, he indignantly replied that we were in Germany, and that's how Hungarian goulash is supposed to be. We got the impression that the waiter was more interested in us leaving as soon as possible because it was getting late. I don't recommend this place, as they're far from Croatian cuisine.

I've been coming here for 25 years... I love it. Still the same owner and still the same quality of food. I highly recommend it.

We came here on a recommendation and are already here for the fourth time. The price-performance ratio is excellent, and the staff is impeccable. Our favorite spot is right at the counter, and except for one occasion, we even got a seat without a reservation. Card payments are accepted, so nothing stands in the way of feasting on the menu. We rounded off our visit with an ice cream sundae and a glass of local wine from Croatia. We'll be back.

This is a Croatian restaurant as you know it. Facility, food, staff are all great. The food is excellent, drinks are varied and delicious. The price-performance ratio is very good. It is well located for this. A must visit if you are in the area.

The five of us held our club party there. The food is unbeatably delicious, the service is very accommodating, and the prices are reasonable for this great quality. After decades I was once again in a youth hostel. No longer recognizable. The Mainz JHG is very well maintained and colorfully painted in a youthful, modern style. The box is manned 24/7, the WiFi, of course. We had booked a seminar room, lunch and drinks as part of further training. It's all ok. The room was technically up to date, the food was simple but tasted good.

Instead of the steak described on the grill plate, there is turkey schnitzel 😯 But at the same price of €18.00. Not wheelchair accessible despite many older guests. The toilets in particular are too narrow and too low. There aren't even any handles to pull it up. As a long-time regular, you get stupid, cheeky answers to friendly complaints. You don't have to give in.

Lots of perverse meat, tender and tasty except for the piece of beef. This had something of the flesh of homesickness: full of sinews. Very friendly service, and there was also schnapps on the house. We'll be back. The dishes have also become more expensive here - but you still get real value for money.

Today in Dubrovnik we ate the potpourri platter and the veal liver again, first of all the salad, the choice is for every taste, everything here is of the best taste, always excellent quality, attentive service is very important here, everyone is very friendly, so We always enjoy coming here, many thanks to the entire team!

Update September 2024 Unfortunately I have to deduct 2 stars. Since I couldn't manage my minced steak, I took it with me. I wanted to eat it in the evening. A thick black hair beautifully blended into the flesh. Choke. The takeaway Puzta platter was ordered with fries. The waiter also asked twice. At home again with curry rice and a bland taste. Unfortunately I can't accept that anymore. For now, let's take a break. The food tasted delicious, drinks were decently chilled and the service was also very friendly. We have been there several times now and will definitely be back soon. Priced a little higher than others, but still within the range. An absolute recommendation from me ⭐️

Solid Croatian cuisine, in a well-run restaurant. Unfortunately, Potsdamer Allee is quite loud (which no one can do anything about). Anyone in the mood for meat will be well served here. P.S. The Viennese style schnitzel was also very good.

Nice, attentive service. The cevapcici were too salty for me personally, the pork neck skewer was a little too dry/tough. Both from the robber's plate, which I always eat when I end up in a Croatian place. 😊 Actually quite a nice location in the countryside, although a little out of the way. You don't come by here by chance. The terrace facing Potsdamer Strasse is incredibly loud, especially at the moment because the road is single-lane due to a construction site.

I love Croatian cuisine. I ordered Pola Pola in Dubrovnik. Very tasty, well seasoned meat, fresh, hot fries and delicious Duvec rice. Nice service and at the end there was a schnapps on the house.

Normally understandable, but at this time? Unfortunately, this very economical communication continued until the end, which surprised us. However, the dishes are absolutely excellently prepared, whether Croatian dishes or regional food (e.g. Berlin beef liver). Some Croatian competitors in the S-Z district cannot keep up. Friendly farewell (from the other gentlemen) Conclusion: excellent cuisine, service could have been a lot more reliable. Someday again. - Perhaps. But for us only because of the really outstanding food quality...

Interesting spatial shape, reminiscent of the strange angular shape of Hrvatska, very appropriate. Unfortunately I've only used the pick-up service so far, but the food was great and plentiful. Wir hatten unsere Weihnachtsfeier dort! Alle haben sich wohl gefühlt

Immer wieder super lecker und so wie man es "von früher" gewohnt ist. Rustikale Gerichte von der "Räuber Platte" bis zu "Pola Pola" - natürlich mit extra scharfen Zwiebeln 😉 alles ein Träumchen und als Exilberliner nach mehr als 20 Jahren extra deswegen nach Zehlendorf gefahren - immer gerne wieder!!!

Ich habe lange nicht mehr so gut gegessen. Anfangs irritierend,dass es auch Pizzen,etc.gibt.... Wir haben 4 verschiedene Gerichte bestellt. Hat uns allen wirklich gut geschmeckt. Auch die Portionen waren angemessen,nicht zuviel,wie man es manchmal erlebt. Ausdrücklich empfehlenswert.

Sehr leckeres und authentisches Essen. Der Service im Restaurant ist extrem gut, sodass man sich wie Zuhause fühlt.
