We were here rather spontaneously. And were pleasantly surprised. The food was very tasty and plentiful. Nice service. We are happy to recommend.

Yesterday we were looking for a place to eat before going to a concert. Luckily, we got a table without a reservation... but the council still made a reservation. Ambience rustic in a positive sense. It just fits. We received very nice and friendly service; The food was great and if there was a restaurant like this near where we live I would be a regular customer. Thank you !

Wir können nur Gutes berichten. Das Essen war sehr lecker, das Restaurant sehr gemütlich und die Chefin sehr, sehr freundlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und werden gerne einmal wieder kommen, wenn wir wieder in Kiel sind.

We were in the restaurant by chance, as the one we had planned didn't open at the specified time... At first we were warmly welcomed and allowed to choose a table, which was fine at first. The wine we ordered was delicious and our dishes came quite quickly...albeit of a rather average quality and some with a clearly visible use of convenience products!!! Unfortunately for us, the option to pay with an EC card was not possible at short notice that day, which the landlady asked??? We and the other guests present were informed at short notice and briefly during another serving course. Okay so far, something like that can happen... However, when my wife asked in a quiet moment how to actually act in such situations, the mood changed significantly. The landlady discussed possible options persistently and loudly across the dining room??? for cash (including withdrawing money from the ATM) and the initial friendliness was blown away :-( As usual, we had enough cash with us to cover any expenses, but now our visit and the reaction to a simple question seemed somehow strange. I ordered the invoice, which was only communicated to me verbally, good thing we had calculated the same amount when ordering (we like to do this in advance so that we can compare the price with the services provided). In order to prevent further discussions, I refrained from asking for an invoice or receipt, but I will do that differently in the future! In summary, I unfortunately have to say that we didn't enjoy this visit to Dubrovnik and that we definitely won't be coming back.

We received a friendly welcome, the food was delicious and the portions were large enough. The restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

Very tasty homemade dishes, nice staff. It's good that there are still places like these, which are becoming increasingly difficult to find these days.

Quaint restaurant owned by a very nice family. Food is okay so far and tastes good. Unfortunately, the gypsy style liver wasn't quite our thing. But the rest was very, very tasty and I can recommend the restaurant to every visitor to the city. Definitely our go-to place again on our next visit.

We had dinner in Dubrovnik around 7:30 p.m., without a reservation and spontaneously. We were warmly welcomed by the operator and even though the restaurant was full, a place was found for us. The hospitality from the family was warm and you felt so welcome and comfortable. The food was to die for! We really didn't have to wait long and every single piece of meat was on point and tasted delicious and juicy! 😍 also the starter - coleslaw - delicious!! + Beer and a big friend only paid just under 40 euros! Where else is that available? THANK YOU for the great hospitality and the absolutely delicious food. 👍🏻

A very nice restaurant with very tasty food. The restaurant feels like it's been around forever and the staff has also felt like it's always been there. We haven't been here in a few years, but the food still tastes as delicious as we remember. We'd love to come back, now even faster!

Balkan restaurant in Kiel. Very family restaurant. I felt like I was transported back to my childhood when I was with Grandpa at the Yugoslavian home (that's what they said in the 80s). We came in and were warmly welcomed. Atmosphere like in the 80s, I love it. Now to the essentials. Map has a lot to choose from. I chose the robber meat and it tasted like before, i.e. very good. You can taste the coleslaw that it is homemade. Overall, very tasty food. Very friendly hosts. Portions are more than sufficient and value for money is great. If you like food from the Balkans, this is a great place. Thanks to the hosts and if we visit Kiel again we'll see each other.

Went there with friends after prior reservation, were warmly greeted and felt welcome from the start😊😘. The dishes we chose were incredibly tasty, high quality, great and perfectly prepared😋👌. Price/performance ratio absolutely “TOP”. The service was extremely friendly and accommodating 😊👍. Cheers 👌. We felt very comfortable and had a very nice evening with delicious food.😊 Our conclusion: 💫💫💫💫💫 We would love to come back and therefore our clear recommendation for this location!!! ❤️ Tip: A prior reservation would be recommended!!!

That's what I call spontaneous, called at short notice on New Year's Eve and were able to come straight away. Table was great. Service was very nice, the owner was really great and passionate about it. Day's food was super tasty, hot and the portions were completely sufficient. Great selection, something for everyone, including vegetarians. Definitely recommended (also popular with the locals)

Man man man - das war wirklich überragend lecker. Hatte einen Grillteller mit diversen Fleischsorten. Kein Ausfall - alles richtig lecker!! Und der Reis war überragend. Pommes ebenfalls überraschend gut. Preis/Leistung top!! Weiß nicht, ob ich noch jemals in Kiel sein werde, aber das war definitiv wiederholenswert

Wir waren zu viert hier. Nettes Restaurant. Aufmerksame Bedienung, Essen war sehr gut, nichts zudecken Lecker reichhaltig und das Fleisch auf den Punkt. Nachdem einer meiner Freundin ihr Alster umkippte und meinen Teller "geflutet" hatte. Kam sofort die Chefin und hatte mein Fleisch nochmal auf den Grill gelegt. Super starke Reaktion. Pommes und Reis gab es neu. Darum jeweils 5 von 5 Sternen. Aber geht einfach selbst mal hin.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden, als Vorspeise wählten wir die Spezialitäten Plate und dann einmal Cala Maris und einmal ein Fleischgericht. Wir waren an einem Sonntag gegen 17:30 Uhr hier und erhielten schon jetzt den letzten freien Tisch, es empfiehlt sich also eine Reservierung. Der Service ist sehr aufmerksam und sehr familiär. Das Essen war sehr lecker, von den Portion Größe her vollkommen ausreichend und wir erhielten auch noch ein Begrüßung Schnaps. Insgesamt würde ich hier auf jeden Fall wieder essen gehen. Die Speisekarte ist sehr umfangreich und es dauert etwas, bis man sich entschieden hat.

Trotz Personalmangel sehr freundlich und schnell. Gerne wieder.

Wir sind auf der Durchreise in Kiel und sind hier spontan eingekehrt. Die Besitzer sind sehr nett und freundlich, das Essen war sehr lecker und reichlich. Wir haben alle zum Abschluss einen Schnaps getrunken und hätten uns gewünscht, dass die Wirtsleute auch eine Runde ausgeben aber das war leider nicht der Fall. Das Lokal ist in die Jahre gekommen aber irgendwie urig. Alles in allem würden wir das Lokal aber weiterempfehlen 😊

Wir waren bis jetzt zweimal dort und haben ein klasse Essen bekommen. Die Portionen waren reichlich und schmeckten sehr gut. Ich kann dieses Restaurant guten Gewissens empfehlen.

Ich habe hier gut und mit einer Portion (Grillteller) reichlich im Außenbereich gespeist. Die Kellnerinnen war freundlich. Nur einige Gäste haben mich mit ihren Videoanrufen und sonstigen Medien, die sie meinten abspielen zu müssen, genervt.

Sehr nette Inhaberin (+MitarbeiterInnen), leckeres Essen und rustikales Ambiente. Absolut empfehlenswert!

als die Restaurants des Balkans noch Jugu-Grill hießen. Die Speisekarte war auch so. Die Einrichtung auch. Die Chefin schickte ihre Aushilfe, der nicht gerade auf Zack war. Es dauerte. Es gab Pola-Pola und ein Bier. Der Sauerkraut-Salat war, na ja, jetzt nicht so überzeugend. Wenn ich in Kiel wohnen würde, suche ich weiter.
