3rd time, and today definitely the LAST time. We sat outside. First, you have to pay, so far so good. When I said I was paying in cash (€50 note, price €47.80), the waitress cheekily said I'd only get €2 back. Since she spoke very poor German, I thought I'd misheard, but I hadn't. She actually only gave me €2 change. I thought, OK, if she needs it, and didn't say anything else, 20 cents is fine. Then it started. The tray for the clip numbers was being used as an ashtray by the customer in front of us. It wasn't put away. We then handed the tray over to the front. It wasn't replaced. The waitress, who, by the way, came across as very annoyed and just wanted to collect the bill, dropped a knife on the floor while clearing the next table. I couldn't believe my eyes. She kicked the knife piece by piece towards the door with her feet. Across the filthy floor! You're not welcome. They treat guests like a necessary evil. Some of the food was disgusting, the mussels make you sick just looking at them. You just have to keep spitting out the beef because it's impossible to chew! When the waitress then checked out new guests, right behind my companion's back, almost on her lap, my companion lost her temper. She apologized, "Sorry, sorry, you good guest, you got one more beer for free." He didn't want that beer at all and made it clear, but she just put a new one down anyway. We then got up, said we'd never come back, and went to Extrablatt. Shocked, honestly! This is a case for the health department!

Poor selection, poor service, staff pushing cutlery around with their feet and billing other guests over their shoulders while I was eating. We paid €50, didn't eat after this incident, and went down to Cafe Extrablatt.

Sad I need to give a star minimum, otherwise I gave not a single one. The foot was a hoax. Not a single dish that tastes Chinese, but I understand, the majority of customers would not want that. Meat is just fatty, everything is extremely greasy to make you feel full too fast. The staff is inattentive and can be even rude and shout at you if you don't follow the rule they don't explain ti you in the first place. I can recommend everyone to stay far away.

Unfortunately, I can't recommend this restaurant. There are flies on the food – it's unhygienic and absolutely unacceptable! Dear owners, please consider a way to cover the food. What I saw doesn't meet hygiene standards.

Delicious, good selection, service is almost nonexistent. Drinks are brought in by ourselves and are included in the price. I now pay for drinks for many people, as that includes beer, etc., but we mostly only drink water... This obviously saves on staff, but the price hasn't gone down... I think it's pretty cheap. The aquariums aren't the prettiest either. The kids sent their plates to the grill without a clip for the sauce... unfortunately, both plates came back quite spicy... either they'd added plenty of pepper, or the previous person's leftovers were still on the grill... otherwise, it was very tasty and fresh... the chocolate fountain is the highlight for the kids.

We came in and I actually wanted to leave right away 😅. The price is very cheap for a buffet, including drinks... but that's the catch: My brother is mentally disabled. He opened a second bottle of dark beer and wanted to drink it, and the older lady came over like a fury and just said, "Oh, just a hoot" (I think I meant one) and wanted money. Not to mention that she immediately took money at the beginning and said all drinks were free. The food was pretty mediocre; the star, or rather the stars for the food, which I give 5, are solely for the super friendly man Hintern Grill. What he grilled was great, and his manner was also very warm. In this case, I recommend that the gentleman Hintern Grill does his best to make things his own, so as not to become as unfriendly as the lady. We came here for the lunch buffet for the first time in a while. It was definitely better than a few years ago. The drinks were constantly refilled, and the food was hot enough. The price was €17.90, including drinks: Coke, Fanta, and water, but only one bottle of beer. It was decent value for money. The dessert wasn't quite to our taste, but there were plenty to choose from.

You can't go wrong there. The taste is good, and the drinks are original from the major manufacturers.

Unfortunately no 0 stars possible...Unbelievable and outrageous. Went there with my mom today for dinner...lunch buffet. In the past...2-3 years ago...the restaurant was really recommended, but now unfortunately there is no longer any trace of freshness and quality... The food at the buffet wasn't even lukewarm... all that was steaming was the water bath under the food inserts, which unfortunately didn't help... When I had something freshly fried (from the few ingredients that looked somewhat edible) and the plate of hot food was brought to the table, I kindly pointed out to the waitress (I think the owner as well) that the cooked food at the buffet was cold... The waitress then explained that it was no longer worth cooking so much since there were hardly any guests left... the place would have always been full before and I can still remember that. "No people...no cooking" Given the poor quality, you shouldn't be surprised that the guests aren't there. Salads are simply old, partly rotten and dried out. Spring onions for soup also partially dried out... Ingredients for Mongolian food are also visibly not fresh. So for us it was the last visit there if the good quality doesn't return. I don't pay any money to get sick if necessary... In addition, cash is collected before eating so that any complaints could not lead to less sales. Sorry, doesn't work at all.

Were there for the lunch buffet. First of all, of course every guest's taste is different. The selection was poor but sufficient. We had two plates fried. Completely oversalted, the meat cold and dry. When it was commented on, it was laughed at and not taken seriously. The second time, (apparently the owner, took meat from the plate, put it in her mouth, threw it back on the plate and didn't say anything salty. Anyway, since no improvement was suggested. When we paid, we insisted on only collecting a buffet meal. She just shouted at us until the police came. Ridiculous. We paid less. We're now lying in bed with a stomach ache. That was a lesson for us to trust the recession. In my opinion, the restaurant would have closed We will never go there again.

Buffet food all you can eat!!!!

We were completely screwed today. 3 adults and 4 children. 3 children aged 3 and 1 child aged 4. Children who are 3 normally pay 4 euros and children who are 4 pay 5 euros. Dinner buffet costs €23.90, we split the bill and we were both given the same bill €33.90, so we were both charged €5 per child. My friend's bill for the third person was 28.90, so she was charged another 5 euros for a child even though I had already paid for the child. When we brought this up, the woman was completely unreasonable, freaked out and was rude. I thought everyone gave tips, blah blah blah. For me it was simply a matter of principle that she calculated 8 euros incorrectly. In my opinion, that's not possible at all, and what's more, they only wanted to give us 1 euro back and I then said they could keep it because it was just too stupid for me. We then left. Will not eat there again in the future. The store is very dubious. No wonder that things are slowly going down the drain, the noodles are hard and the food is warmed up again, and plates were swapped even though only 4 or 5 tables were occupied. Not normal.

We visited this restaurant last night and were very disappointed. Well, we should have read the reviews beforehand. For us, it was clear: once and never again. The food was lukewarm; the meat at the Mongolian counter was sitting without any refrigeration (e.g., on ice); the sushi on offer consisted of a few rolls that looked like they'd been yesterday. The food was barely replenished, and for a buffet, there wasn't as much selection as you'd expect at other places. Tables were piled high with plates, and the service was unfriendly. When I think about whether the kitchen is like that, I feel sick.

The food isn't particularly well seasoned, and not everything is hot or cooked well. The grill buffet was truly terrible; I've never eaten such a bad grilled dish before; some of it was undercooked. I won't be seeing Genghis Khan again anytime soon.

I went there again today with my wife and our son after a long time. I have to say it's gotten much worse. The food was cold and tasted very bland, with hardly any seasoning. Everything tasted pretty much the same. Far too few vegetables and a lot of fat in the containers. I recommend Alsdorf/Sieg to everyone.

The food was absolutely inedible. I found a hair in the dessert and informed the employee. Instead of replacing the entire dessert, she just removed the hair and left the rest. The service was equally disappointing: the employee was unfriendly and treated us disrespectfully. Absolutely not recommended!!!

Unfortunately, I have to share my experience with you this way. We entered the store and the staff was like, “What do they want here? We took ourselves and tried it anyway… and? A shame! You could have taken the plaster off the walls with the meat! The noodles taste like they have never been cooked or fried. The sauces looked like they had been sitting for a week. The baked bananas were blackened on the inside, so you thought someone had dipped a bad banana peel into breading! In the toilets you could already see the large mold spots on the ceilings and much more... at times I could have compared the shop to a small animal zoo, as the walls were filled with spiders, flies and large insects in spider webs. All in all the worst thing we have ever seen and eaten! Maybe the health department should take a look there! Save your €21 + drink = €24.90! They would have been better off even in the kiln!

The buffet is put together carelessly and the ingredients of the dishes are partly indefinable. Most of the food was lukewarm to cold despite the warming containers. Drinks are available in self-service liter bottles in a refrigerator. Many bottles have been opened and are no longer carbonated. Overall, it's a shame, as the Genghis Khan was always a popular and popular restaurant. 17.99 for an all-you-can-eat buffet of this quality is unfortunately a waste of money.

Genghis Khan is a Mongolian all-you-can-eat buffet restaurant in Siegen. Unfortunately, the hygiene there is not that good. The glasses have not been washed and have stains. The sushi ordered doesn't come to the table if the chef receives too many orders via Uber Eats or Lieferando. In this case, these orders come first and the people in the restaurant look down the drain.

We were here today around 4 p.m. Much of the buffet was dried out and tough. The waitress always said “tell me I’m cooking”. But what am I asking for if the buffet was more than 50% empty, dry or dried out. We didn't ask ourselves anything. We were there today for the first and last time.

Food wasn't really good. Some of it was stale and dried out and the selection wasn't particularly good either. I also brought some to fry and unfortunately it ended up being pretty burnt. The worst thing, however, was that a child (I think the owner's child, since he was there all the time) licked the spoon used to fill the egg and touched everything else everywhere. That pretty much spoiled your appetite. So both the food and the hygiene there were really very bad and I wouldn't recommend anyone to eat there.

I've only been to this restaurant once and it was enough for me. The buffet wasn't really appealing. To me it seemed very rancid. Some of the food was already dried out and not edible. It wasn't really refilled and the buffet consisted almost entirely of leftovers. Maybe I just caught the wrong day 🤷 But everyone can decide that for themselves. But for me it was the first and last time I was there.

There were 4 of us there today. The store was empty and we were greeted very unfriendly. In addition, at the beginning I wanted to have something fried, which I got when we were about to pay. It was terribly bad. We came into the restaurant and were warmly welcomed. It was very empty in the restaurant. So there would definitely have been time to clean…..and that brings me to the hygienic condition of the place. I couldn't find a single table that didn't have grease stains or even imprints from glasses. If you choose the buffet, you also have to help yourself to drinks from a refrigerator. Unfortunately, these are large bottles that are then opened and put back in the fridge for the next guest. The glasses here are stacked on top of each other with condensation from washing up next to them. Really unappetizing! The buffet is very manageable and barely filled. The meat and sauces were completely crusty and dried out, and cold to lukewarm. When the waitress started packing what little food there was for deliveries, I was at a loss. None of the four of us wanted dessert anyway, as it all just looked unsightly and unappetizing. I spoke to the waitress about the grievances. She told us to wait until it was refilled, just like she had been putting off everyone in the store the whole time. Now it was time to pay the bill and that was also very amusing...You should either pay in cash or via Paypal friends. Well, if this isn't a case of tax evasion!? We were there for the first and last time. The ambience was quite nice, but no more so than in any other restaurant. The lady who greeted us and showed us to the place was very rude. The three of us went to the restaurant today to redeem a voucher. It was after 5:30 p.m. so we could use the grill buffet. Apart from the three of us, there was only one guest present who left the store satisfied after a while. My conclusion about the evening today: The food was all delicious to look at, the food containers were clean and properly filled. Everything was very good warm to hot. The things we tried tasted really good. (Apart from the baked banana ^^) Soup was hot, well seasoned and tasted great. The fresh things that were brought to the grill were also neatly stored and looked fresh and good. The drinks were stored neatly in the refrigerators and there was no indication that bottles had been poured together, as you often read here. The service is not exuberant, rather reserved and quiet but we found that very pleasant. She often checked the food and sorted things at the buffet. The dishes were clean and tidy. The only flaw I noticed was that the table appeared clean but was very sticky. But that's bullshit on a high level. We were very satisfied with the meal and the evening in the restaurant. Gladly again !

Delicious food, it's a generous buffet with a lot of dishes, types of meat, fish and side dishes. You can also have raw and fresh things fried with various sauces. The desserts are also very varied. The staff is very friendly and attentive. It's worth eating there. Gladly again and again.

Food in the Genghis Kahn Restaurant is often fresh from the buffet when there are good visitors. Raw meat chicken/fish is fried and served directly. Food buffet €19 per person is completely acceptable. Ambiance is a bit old, but OK I like to eat there.

The table was spotlessly clean, stocked with napkins and tidy. We were asked whether we would like to eat on a menu or buffet? Our choice was buffet. We were explained what the price was and the process. At the buffet, drinks are included in the price. These are available in large quantities and selection in three refrigerators. It's self-service. There is also Krombacher Pils 0.4 on tap. This is freshly tapped and brought to the table. 1 per person is included in the price, others for an additional fee. The restaurant filled up quickly and we noticed that a lot of people already knew their way around. Some took the drink bottles with them to the table, but others just poured out a glass, meaning there weren't just full bottles in the fridge. The buffet is extensive and has something for everyone. We each had something fried three times and put everything together ourselves. Pork, beef, chicken, lots of fish, etc., everything is there. The side dishes were sufficiently available and warm. Lots of salad. The soup and rice very hot!!!! The dessert was very extensive in small portions, from fruit to pudding, cake and ice cream. We spent 2 hours here and we had a nice time and ate well and the price was right. At the end we asked for the bill and were able to pay in cash or by card. Cash and tip was the choice. The toilet facilities are as old as everything else, the women's toilet is a little tight, but clean. A urinal in the men's toilet was covered because it was broken, but that's just the way it is. We wouldn't be disappointed and would come back because it suited us the way it was.

The worst restaurant I've visited in a long time. When you come in, it starts off incredibly rudely by asking you to pay in an annoyed tone because I wanted to pay with a card. I asked and only got the stupid answer that card payment wasn't possible and I could just run to the savings bank. In my opinion, the selection is rather small for an "all you can eat" restaurant. In addition, a lot of the food comes ready-made from the supermarket and everything is cold, even if something is being refilled it is cold and so I assume that the things are basically only made warm. Some of the food is even hard and seems as if it was being offered for the third day in a row. Drinking is included but you have to take it out of the fridge yourself and without reading reviews here first I wouldn't have even thought that I could just take a drink because they don't tell you. The menus in the restaurant are probably from a time when the restaurant had quality because there is a different name on it and the dishes are also different from those that you can take. The only thing I would recommend here would be the ready-made bedside tables such as jelly and mini chocolate kisses.

The visit was more than disappointing. We got there first and were very rudely asked to pay immediately. Since the card reader was broken, payment could only be made in cash. Today after shopping we stopped at this restaurant for lunch. Service was super friendly, food was incredibly tasty. No intrusive music. We had a very good meal, were able to converse without any effort and left the restaurant full, satisfied and refreshed. Simply great!

I have eaten in this restaurant several times and have had no problem, but now I have a headache every time after eating, and my daughter and I should pay before eating and everyone else shouldn't. The visit came spontaneously, in a group of four, since none of us had been here yet. This visit will definitely be the first but also the last visit! The service was... non-existent?! We weren't even greeted appropriately, only rudely told that we had to get our own drinks. The food was... well, okay. However, loveless. The cutlery used to put the food on your own plate was often very, very hot. Too hot. The ambience leaves a lot to be desired and especially the restaurant, or whatever you want to call it. . Very outdated and not treated with care. Has it ever been restored? Everything was outdated and I don't even want to start talking about the half-open and frayed cooling systems. My companions and I no longer want to eat anything here. (After one of us upset his stomach because he dared to eat shrimp despite all the warnings we had already heard... we definitely won't come back.)

After a short discussion among ourselves about whether we would go back immediately, we gave it another chance. Unfortunately! The food selection was ok, more could have been added. The food wasn't very warm. The taste was ok. The interior and the associated ambience are showing their age and are extremely worn. The toilets were barely cleaned. The floor around the buffet was sticky everywhere and so were the tables. The tablecloths and place mats were stained. During the approximately 1 hour stay we had the loud, pushy lady around us who constantly looked out the window next to our table and talked to herself. It was simply a mistake that we won't make again.

There were three of us there today. So the food was very bad. The duck was so tough, the coffee was a disgrace, filter coffee was cold and inedible. The 20 year old coffee machine is broken. The cake Was offered frozen. The fish was inedible. My wife stopped eating earlier and I tried to find something good. Unfortunately nothing good was found. Everything also looks run down. I spoke to the employee and she said it was the end of the month and people had no money left.

When we sat down, we were asked persistently about paying with the amount typed into the EC card machine and we should preferably pay with a card. This was pointed out three times even though it had already been said that we would pay in cash. Drinks are included in the buffet, but they are not brought to the table but you get them yourself just like the glasses. The drinks have to be taken out of a refrigerator in which there were already opened bottles from previous guests. The buffet counter was very confusing and the food signs were in the wrong places so that with some dishes you couldn't tell at first glance what was being served. Ambience was fine Conclusion: I wouldn't recommend it as long as you value good, fresh food and good service

We haven't been here for a long time...and we would have left it better. It used to be good here. With your jacket still on you are rudely asked whether you want to use a card or cash, yes you now pay in advance. The atmosphere is like a cheap all-inclusive hotel. You can now also get your own drinks by taking a bottle out of the fridge, which leads to bottles lying around everywhere... it's a shame that was our last visit here.

Top Preise, schnelle Zubereitung und gutes Sushi, auch das gebratene Hänchen und japanische Bier war sehr lecker. Waren auf der Durchreise und haben einen Tisch nach Öffnungszeit bekommen, hat uns echt den Abend gerettet. Gerne wieder

Wir waren länger nicht dort, weil die Qualität des Essen stark nachgelassen hatte. Am Samstag besuchten wir gegen 14 Uhr das Restaurant und wurden beim reingehen schon gefragt ob wir vorher zahlen wollen und ob bar oder mit Karte...ich war verwundert und sagte das ich das noch nicht weiß weil wir mit mehreren Personen dort waren. Die gleiche Frage wurde uns noch 3x gestellt bis ich sagte wir zahlen nach dem Essen! Das Angebot 16,90€ inklusive Getränken war gut, das Essen schmeckte frisch. Selbst das Sushi was beim letzten Besuch miserabel war, war diesmal sehr lecker!

Das Buffet wurde nach meinem Empfinden nur sehr langsam aufgefüllt. Viele Speisen am Buffet schienen leer. Highlight: Wird Tiramisu mit Toastbrotscheiben zubereitet? Als ich vor ca. 3 Monaten dort war, war alles ok obwohl der Laden gut besucht war... Schade, war bisher gerne hier zum Essen. Für den Preis finde ich den Service allerdings nicht in Ordnung.

Wir mussten am Tisch bezahlen bevor wir überhaupt ans Buffer durften. Mein bestellen Bier und ein Cocktail kamen 10 Minuten später als die Getränke vom Rest der Gruppe. Das Buffet war zwar ok aber mir fehlte Ente und es waren mehrere Sachen immer wieder leer wenn nun am Buffet war.

Der Schimmel in dem Buffettkühler ist unbeschreiblich.

Ich habe mich nicht getraut was von der Salattheke was zu essen. Gurke war schon matschig. Möhre war vertrocknet. sah wirklich nicht gut aus. Sauberkeit verbesserungswürdig. Teller teilweise nicht sauber etc... Bedienug war nett und zuvorkommend.
