Dschingis Chan in Aachen

Ich bin wirklich enttäuscht.Das Restaurant ist in einen gehobenen und einen unteren Bereich aufgeteilt.Obwohl im gehobenen Bereich mehrere Tische frei waren,wurden wir zu dritt direkt in den unteren Bereich gesetzt.Auf meine Nachfrage,warum wir nicht dort sitzen könnten, wurde mir gesagt,alle freien Tische seien reserviert. Wir hatten ausdrücklich gesagt,dass wir gerne vorne auf der rechten Seite sitzen möchten.Da wir nur etwa zwei Stunden bleiben würden,wäre das problemlos möglich gewesen.Tatsächlich waren wir sogar etwas länger als zwei Stunden dort und in dieser ganzen Zeit kam niemand für die angeblich reservierten Tische.Das wirkte auf uns wie eine Ausrede. Besonders unverschämt fand ich,dass mir später ein Teller mit den Resten der Ente serviert wurde.So etwas habe ich in einem Restaurant noch nie erlebt.Das war respektlos und absolut inakzeptabel. Auch geschmacklich konnten die Gerichte leider nicht überzeugen.Einige Speisen waren nahezu geschmacklos und auch die Präsentation ließ sehr zu wünschen übrig. Ich habe mich als Gast nicht wertgeschätzt gefühlt und werde dieses Restaurant definitiv nicht noch einmal besuchen.Leider kann ich es auch nicht weiterempfehlen.

Schöne gemütliche Ambiente. Klimaanlage. Gute Bedienung. Von 3 Gerichten die wir hier bestellt haben, hat mir und meinen Freunden nur eins so richtig gut geschmeckt- Lahm Geschnetzeltes. Gebackene Ente fand ich zu trocken. Die Soße dazu war Süß und überhaupt nicht pikant, wie es auf der Speicherkarte stand. Rindfleisch war auch trocken. Nur Lahm war richtig saftig, dennoch gar nicht scharf, obwohl es als "scharf " deklariert wurde. Fazit, wenn man es scharf möchte, dann "sehr scharfe" Gerichte wählen. Preise waren angemessen!

Wir waren letzten Samstag mit einer größeren Gruppe dort und sind absolut begeistert! Trotz des wirklich vollen Restaurants lief alles reibungslos. Der Service war unglaublich aufmerksam, freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen war einfach ausgezeichnet. Alle Gerichte kamen frisch, perfekt gewürzt und gleichzeitig für unsere große Runde an den Tisch. Für uns ist und bleibt es unser absoluter Lieblingsasiate. Wir kommen definitiv wieder – große Empfehlung! 😊

Mit Sicherheit das beste Asiatische Restaurant in Aachen. Frische Zuraten, super lecker abgeschmeckt, hervorragender freundlicher Service, ein super Preis- Leistungsverhältnis. Wer hier einmal essen gewesen ist geht danach nie wieder zu einem asiatischen „Buffettempel“ und ist freiwillig Glutamat verseuchtes Essen. Hier wird noch richtig lecker mit frischen Zutaten, ohne Geschmacksverstärker, gekocht. Immer wieder gerne!

Das beste Chinesische Restaurant in Aachen!

Wir waren zufällig an einem Dienstag Mittag hier gelandet, vier Erwachsene und zwei Kleinkinder, Restaurant war voll, doch wir könnten 15 min später wieder kommen. Das taten wir. Befürchtungen, dass aufgrund voll belegter Tische der Service gestresst und die Bestellungen lange dauern würden, bestätigten sich nicht. Im Gegenteil, der Service angenehm unaufgeregt, die Bestellungen wurden zeitlich perfekt geliefert. Einige Kommentatoren bewerten das Essen fade. Das mag daran liegen, das Sie überwürzte Gerichte gewohnt sind und die zarten Noten nicht mehr gut herausschmecken. Wir hatten Peking Suppe ( dezente Schärfe)und Krupuk ( zwei große Streifen) als Vorspeise, Ente mit pikanter Sauce, Lachs und gebratene Nudeln von der Mittagskarte, alles fein und zart. Zum Finale konnte noch eine Kokos Panna Cotta mit flambierten Himbeeren verköstigt werden. Die Panna Cotta war auf den Punkt fluffig, die Kokosraspeln leider nur drüber statt mitgekocht, das aber ist meckern auf hohem Niveau. Auch die im Stielglas servierten Getränkekreationen fanden bei uns Anklang. Für die Kinder gab es Glückskekse vom Personal. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und waren vom Essen sehr angetan. Kurzum, wir kommen wieder

Schickes Lokal. Gerichte aber belanglos:trocken,ungewürzt,ohne Esprit. Dazu völlig überteuert. Leider nicht zu empfehlen.

Sehr Gutes Restaurant, Bedienung war ganze Zeit aufmerksam obwohl der Laden voll war. Das Essen war sehr gut und ansehnlich gemacht. Werden aufjedenfall öfters kommen.

Obwohl wir nicht reserviert hatten, und es voll war, hat man für uns noch einen Tisch zurecht gemacht. Die Kellner waren sehr aufmerksam, schenkten nach und wir warteten nicht lange auf das Essen, das sehr gut schmeckte.

War alles ok, essen hat mich aber nicht wirklich begeistert.

Sehr leckeres Essen! Die knusprige Ente war phänomenal. Leider deutlich zu wenige vegetarische Optionen (2-3). Das Hünchenananas Curry mit Tofu statt Fleisch war entäuschend "simpel". Man könnte sicherlich noch interessantere vegetarische Gerichte aus der chinesischen Küche anbieten.

Wir waren an einem Dienstagabend hier zu viert zum Essen. Zusammengefasst: unglaublich fades, langweiliges Essen ohne jegliche Würze, uninspiriert und spartanisch serviert, übergriffige Kellner (u.a.: verteilt einfach Reste aus beliebigen Schüsseln auf unsere Teller, ohne zu fragen). Wir wurden zum Schluss gefragt, ob es uns geschmeckt hätte. Auf die Antwort: „Nein, es war absolut unterdurchschnittlich und fade“ kam lediglich mit einem Grinsen die Antwort: „Da waren Sie wohl zu hungrig!“ (Zitat!). Hääää? Ansonsten keinerlei Nachfrage, was denn konkret nicht gefallen hatte. Reine Massenabfertigung, der einzelne Kunde scheint völlig egal zu sein. Abgesehen davon: nette gemütliche Atmospäre, Geräuschkulisse zu laut, Personal ansonsten freundlich. Wir sind allerdings wegen der Qualität des Essens einheitlich der Meinung: Bloß nie wieder!

Schönes und ansprechendes Ambiente. Eine gute optische Mischung zwischen modernem Restaurant und asiatischem Flair. Service ist sehr aufmerksam und ständig parat. >Achtung, jammern auf hohem Niveau< Mir ist der Service manchmal ein wenig zu präsent, da die Bedienungen sich abwechseln und jede/r einzelne Nachfragt. Eine zuständige Person wäre mir lieber 😉 (Aber besser so, als dass man ewig wArten müsste) Auch sehr nette Chefin, die aufmerksam und kommunikativ sich um die Gäste kümmert. Das Essen war optisch wie auch geschmacklich jeden Cent Wert. Komme gerne nochmals😚🤗

A fantastic Asian restaurant with excellent food and a pleasant atmosphere! It was a chance discovery via a Google Maps review while visiting Aachen city center. The dishes were excellently cooked, and the crispy chicken and duck we chose were among the best Asian dishes I've ever eaten! The chicken with a mango sauce, crunchy vegetables, and rice was divine—the duck with brown sauce was also delicious. Highly recommended, but also the large, freshly made spring rolls (sweet and sour or spicy)—absolutely delicious! We'll be back when we visit Aachen again! PS: Reservations are highly recommended—we were there on a Sunday, and even for two people, they only had a reservation!

Good food, mediocre and slow service.

It doesn't get any better than this. Where else can you find such good food combined with white tablecloths, even at lunchtime, flowers on every table and large arrangements in the restaurant area, impressive cleanliness everywhere you look, and outstanding, warm service. A family business par excellence. I hope you stay around for a long time and wish you all the best! P.S.: The prices are very reasonable and rather too cheap for the quality of the food, ambiance, and service.

Plenty to eat and full of flavor

Without doubt the finest culinary experience I’ve had in Aachen. I ordered the 'Pikante Ente knusprig gebacken nach Art des Hauses with gebratener Reis'. The duck was perfectly crispy with a sauce that was delicately spicy. It was accompanied by excellently seasoned stir-fried vegetables, and I highly recommend pairing it with a glass of red wine, a perfect match suggested by the staff. Although I was never a fan of Asian cuisine due to my earlier experiences in Thai restaurants, this place completely changed my view. My friend ordered the Scampis vom Wok mit frischem Gemüse & Chili-Kokos, which was very different from anything I had tasted before, absolutely incredible. For dessert, I highly recommend the gebackenes Eis flambiert, a great finale to the meal. The staff were attentive, warm, and professional. Despite the restaurant being full, the service was impressively quick. Highly recommended, perfect for couples, families, or professional dinners!

My favorite restaurant in Aachen, although I usually combine my meal there with a trip to the movies. The food is excellent, and the service is very friendly and attentive. I feel very comfortable in this restaurant because of the atmosphere. In my approximately 20 visits so far, I have never been disappointed.

The restaurant appears to no longer exist. Everything is covered with paper and it doesn't look like it's been renovated.

A quality experience... The place looks quite unpretentious from outside but once inside one quickly grasps that this place offers "something extra". It was my first time at Genghis Khan, an Asian restaurant. I was surprised at how full it was, a reservation (at least on weekends) is mandatory here. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and the service is very friendly and knows how to deal with guests. The selection on the menu is more Asian standard and to be expected. Baked duck, beef dishes, lamb dishes, some fish and shrimp dishes. I had the house style baked duck. Not exceptional per se, but everything is of good quality. Crunchy vegetables, lightly seasoned, a separate sauce and above all a very good duck breast. Gladly again!

Unfortunately very bland, tasteless, poorly seasoned food. We had the Genghis Khan platter for 2 people and none of the 4 dishes were tasty. We were very disappointed and would not come again despite the great atmosphere.

Very tasty Asian food in a stylish atmosphere.

Disappointing service and lack of organization We called the Genghis Khan restaurant on November 10, 2024 at 5:45 p.m. because we had previously celebrated our mother's birthday. She spontaneously wanted to eat there, which is why we tried to make a reservation at short notice. When we made the reservation, we also mentioned that it was our mother's birthday - which made it all the more disappointing how the evening turned out. We called the restaurant at 5:45 p.m. to reserve a table for 4 people at short notice for 7:00 p.m. We were told that a table would not be available until 7:30 p.m. We accepted that. However, we arrived promptly at 7:30 p.m. and were left waiting at the entrance. After about 10 minutes we politely asked why we couldn't get a table despite having a reservation. Instead of making any effort to clarify the situation, we were simply told that we had to wait another 10 minutes or so. No excuse, no solution. At 7:50 p.m. we tried to talk again and pointed out that it wasn't okay to keep us waiting that long - especially since we had left our number when we made the reservation by phone and could have been informed about a possible delay. In the past, when we made reservations at 5:30 p.m., we were told that we would have to vacate the table by 7:30 p.m. at the latest. The question arises as to whether there are double standards here. A short wait of 5-10 minutes is acceptable, but waiting half an hour for a reserved table is unacceptable. What's particularly annoying is that we've been 15 minutes late in the past, but we informed the restaurant in good time to ensure that our reservation still stood. Because that’s how you treat each other with respect. We ended up leaving the restaurant at 7:55 p.m. without eating. The lack of service, the lack of organization and the indifference of the staff leave an extremely bad impression. Especially on our mother's birthday, this behavior was unacceptable and a complete disappointment. We will avoid the restaurant in the future and cannot recommend it.

My partner and I were guests there on a Tuesday evening to celebrate our anniversary with dinner. The reservation was easy over the phone. The employee who greeted us was extremely friendly and accommodating. We got a wonderful table and the restaurant itself had a really nice atmosphere. The waiting times between orders were reasonable and the employees were quick. We had nothing to complain about the food, everything was perfect down to the smallest detail and even the final drink everything was great. At the end we were treated to a dessert which really surprised us and we thank you very much for that. All in all, this evening was one of the most beautiful restaurant experiences we had and we are very grateful to the staff for giving us such a lovely evening, thank you! We definitely recommend the restaurant and will definitely come back again!
