Drei Meter über dem Main in Hattersheim am Main

Wir waren mit dem E-Bike auf dem Main-Radweg, da kam uns der große Außenbereich über der Straße, am Main gerade Recht. Die Speisen waren sehr gut, das Personal aufmerksam und nett. Den Akku durfte ich auch nachladen.

Das überaus freundliche und zuvorkommende Personal sorgt vom ersten Moment an für eine angenehme, familiäre Atmosphäre. Die Pizza ist lecker und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Das absolute Highlight ist die Terrasse mit herrlichem Blick auf den Stadtpark und den Main: der ideale Ort, um in ruhiger und charmanter Umgebung zu entspannen und das Essen zu genießen.

Super leckere Pizza, sehr ansprechend angerichteter Caprese Salat. Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis stimmig. Mega aufmerksames, freundliches Servicepersonal. Schöne Aussenterrasse mit Blick auf den Main.

Wir sind häufig Gäste im 3m überm Main und bestellen auch sehr gern im Lieferservice, da wir mit Essen und Service sehr zufrieden sind. Einmal waren wir es nicht und sind sehr großzügig entschädigt worden. Noch einmal ganz herzlichen Dank! Wir kommen immer wieder gerne...

Unsere leckere Rettung! Waren Januar 2026 abens im abgelegenen Hotel gelandet, riefen die Pizzeria an, im Glauben, einer kurzen Anfahrt und erhielten eine Absage, weil die Strecke durch den Main 25 min. dauern würde. Aber unsere Bitte wurde dann doch erhört und wir bekamen 2 leckere Pizzen und einen Salat. Wir möchten uns sehr bedanken für die freundliche Hilfsbereitschaft!

Sind durch Zufall übers Internet hier gelandet. Selten eine so gute Pizza gegessen. Service total nett und zuvorkommend. Waren bestimmt nicht nur einmal dort.

Sehr schöne Location mit super leckerem Essen. Die Bedienung war freundlich und freundlich und zuvorkommend. Es gibt genügend Parkplätze im Umkreis. Die Lage am Wasser macht den Besuch zu etwas Besonderem.

Wir hatten ein fantastisches Essen in diesem Restaurant (2 Erwachsene, 2 Teenager). Die Schnitzel waren köstlich, ebenso die Burger für die Kinder. Qualität und Menge waren hervorragend. Die Kinder genossen hausgemachten Eistee. Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Blick auf den Main. Der Service war tadellos, die Kellner freundlich und aufmerksam. Unbedingt hingehen! Die Preise sind für die Qualität des Essens und des Services sehr angemessen.

Waren am 2. Weihnachtstag hier mit der Familie. Der Service war feundlich und schnell und Essen war megalecker. Vielen lieben Dank dafür.

Sehr gemütliches Restaurant, es ist schick und fröhlich eingerichtet das spiegelt den freundlichen Personal wieder, das Personal ist freundlich, hilfsbereit und steht für jede Frage Antwort. Das Essen schmeckt großartig, ich fand das Essen hat sehr frisch geschmeckt man konnte die Qualität einfach rausschmecken. Der Koch, kocht mit Liebe und Gefühl, die Teller sind liebevoll und gut hergerichtet den das Auge ist ja schließlich mit. Von mir also 5 von 5 in jeder Hinsicht, das war nicht mein letzter Abend in diesem Restauriert dies kann ich jedem herzlich empfehlen.

A fantastic restaurant with super friendly staff and excellent food. A small menu with seasonal highlights, always freshly and deliciously prepared. We eat here often and have never been disappointed. Very good value for money. And in the summer, a lovely garden with a view of the Main River 🤩

Delicious food, would gladly come again, top service and good atmosphere.

Just opened! We took advantage of the sunny day for an outing with our child and dog. The menu is well-organized and offers something for everyone. The prices are reasonable. We had Frankfurt green sauce, a burger, and fries for our little one. The food was delicious and freshly prepared – especially the hamburger, which definitely wasn't made with a frozen patty. The service was very attentive, but the waiter wasn't familiar with the menu. All in all, a great experience, hence 5 stars. Update August 19, 2020: We now visit the restaurant regularly and have always been very satisfied. Update June 28, 2025: The owner changed a few years ago. The food is still very tasty (pizza recommendation: Saporita), and the staff (Vladi, Jimmy, Antonia) are super friendly and make you feel welcome.

Today, we visited the restaurant after my father's funeral, and we were thoroughly satisfied. Very good service, a fantastic meal, and we had three choices, all very tasty and plentiful. We highly recommend this restaurant. We thank you on behalf of the family.

My first time there was worth it. Very crispy, delicious schnitzel with a great mixed salad.

We ate there for the second time with 13 colleagues. The restaurant was beautifully decorated, the food was excellent and very tasty, just like last time, and I haven't had such a good cappuccino in a long time. All in all, it was a lovely evening at the restaurant, and everyone was very satisfied with both the food and the location. Good food, great service, and very friendly staff. Highly recommended, and it won't be the last time we'll be there.

I recently dined here, and unfortunately, my experience was less than stellar. The ambiance was quite dark, which made it difficult to fully appreciate the setting. While the service was acceptable, it lacked attentiveness and could have been significantly more engaging.

The food itself was a disappointment. The dishes were overly salty, which overshadowed any potential flavors. Additionally, the restaurant's approach to customer service felt non-centric, as they seemed indifferent to addressing customer needs and feedback.

The quality of the food was average at best. My medium burger patty was overcooked and hard, which is not what I expect from a place with so many good feedback. The presentation of the burger plate was not very impressive. While the fries were crisp, their quality was very questionable, giving off a frozen style feeling when I took the first bite.

Overall, I cannot recommend this restaurant based on my experience. Beyond a fast bite which could be solved by the local kebab place.

We stumbled upon the restaurant by chance and sat outside with a great view of the Main River. The food was plentiful and very good. The service was attentive and very friendly. The restaurant itself is modern and comfortably furnished. It won't be our last visit.

A fantastically located beer garden on the Main River. Very friendly and unusually well-stocked staff, but unfortunately completely disoriented. One person takes our order, the next asks if we can get something already. Barely half the seats were taken, and when the order came, we didn't know where to put it. All in all, this place needs to be properly organized. We opted for pizza (calzone) and a side salad. The crust was sensational, but the filling was bland and stale, to say the least. Finally, after a bit of a wait, a very friendly waiter came over and bought our wives a coffee-based drink and us a grappa. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful outdoor terrace overlooking the Main

Very tasty dishes, a great atmosphere (the beer garden is not far from the banks of the Main), and efficient and friendly staff. The friendly chef himself is in the kitchen. We really enjoyed our meal and would gladly return.

The ambiance was nice, the food was okay – but the service was unfortunately disappointing. Long wait times, orders weren't taken correctly, and questions were answered unfriendly. No apology, no concessions – instead, rude replies. Other guests also seemed dissatisfied. It's a shame; they could have done better.

So they still exist after all. Today, after a long bike ride, my wife and I stopped at this restaurant, 3 meters above the Main River. It was our first time, and let me tell you, it won't be our last. We chose a table outside, and an employee immediately came with a menu. Our orders were taken, and a short time later, our drinks arrived. Another moment, and our food was served. And what can I say? It looked super appetizing. I had Wiener Schnitzel, and the schnitzel wasn't breaded in breadcrumbs like you usually find everywhere, but rather with an egg and flour coating and then rolled in cornflakes. It tasted absolutely delicious, as did the steakhouse fries and the salad. Perfectly presented, just the right amount, and delicious. We also treated ourselves to a shandy. Card payments are accepted. Thank you for the pleasant afternoon. We'll be back. Best regards, Marcus

A very nice restaurant, very clean and lovingly decorated. Due to the weather and the stunning panorama, we opted for the spartan (but discreetly☺️) furnished terrace. The food was beautifully presented, the portions huge, but the taste could have been better. It wasn't bad, but honestly, my schnitzel at home tastes much better, and the sauces are just as good. A BAD PITY. The pizza, on the other hand, is absolutely fine. ONE BIG MINUS: The price for a 0.75-liter bottle of water (€7.50) seems excessive to me. But I can say: Thanks to the ambiance, the friendly staff, and the restaurant's location, we spent a very nice afternoon on the banks of the Main. ☺️😍 CONCLUSION: Since there aren't many alternatives in the area, you can go there without much thought.

Unfortunately disappointing – not a recommendation We were looking forward to a lovely evening at this restaurant 3 meters above the Main River, but we were disappointed. Our order wasn't taken correctly – even though we had specifically requested a non-spicy dish, it was served spicy. When we raised the issue, the problem was downplayed instead of being seriously addressed. Additionally, there were hidden charges for gratinating a dish – this was not mentioned on the menu or when ordering. Overall, the service was unattentive and not particularly friendly. We would have expected much more in this price range. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend the restaurant as it is.

Unfortunately, we were very dissatisfied with our visit 3 meters above the Main River. First, we were served the wrong order—no problem, it can happen. It went even further, though, because the penne we ordered wasn't supposed to be spicy, but it came spicy. We didn't say anything about it. What was particularly annoying was that baked dishes were suddenly sold as a "service," but then appeared on the bill as a hidden surcharge. This costs an extra €2.50. Had the waitress pointed this out to us, we would have gladly paid the cost. When we pointed out the discrepancies in the bill, the problem was initially downplayed and ignored. Only after repeated inquiries and strong insistence did they even respond. That's not what I imagine good service to look like. I've been here many times and have always been satisfied. Now I have to update my review. Unfortunately, this was our last visit.

Four of us and two dogs were there in the late afternoon and we really enjoyed our stay. The food was good; we had pizza, salad, burgers, and schnitzel. Everything was delicious. A small side salad would have gone well with the Vladi Burger, but the taste was perfect! The location is unique and a dream in the summer!

So we arrived and were allowed to choose a table, then we waited 15 minutes for a menu. After that, we ordered drinks and asked what we had ordered. We were told that we would have to wait an hour for the food. So our menus were taken away straight away because we said we didn't want to wait that long for our food. The waiter was visibly annoyed. After 30 minutes, we still hadn't received any drinks. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it; it's a shame; I would have liked to know what the food tastes like there.

A truly beautiful location! Unfortunately, the food wasn't particularly exceptional. It tasted pretty standard. But it was also mid-range priced. The service was very friendly. The drinks were also very tasty and not more expensive than anywhere else. A plus point is the presentation of the food, which is really appealing. The portions are also large, so you'll definitely be full!

Tyrolean roulade with mashed potatoes – simply delicious! The roulade was super tender and wonderfully seasoned. The mashed potatoes were beautifully creamy and a perfect match. Absolutely delicious – I would eat it again in a heartbeat!

The salads have arrived wilted and soggy several times now. The fries are also overseasoned, undercooked, and raw.

I ordered the veal schnitzel and was absolutely thrilled – tender, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to perfection. What's more, the dish was served incredibly quickly, without any lack of quality. Kudos to the kitchen! The service also deserves a special compliment: friendly, attentive, and very professional – you feel well looked after here. In conclusion: A thoroughly enjoyable visit! Anyone who appreciates good food, a great atmosphere, and first-class service should definitely not miss 3 meters above the Main River. Highly recommended – especially for families!

Food was okay but nothing special.

The food is great, we have only been there twice and there is nothing to complain about. Great steaks, very good lasagna, and the pizza was also very good. Unfortunately the wine was not my thing but you can ask for other wines on your next visit. The staff are also courteous and friendly. We would be happy to go again.

Long wait times. Even though there were more waiters than tables. We waited 55 minutes for the starter, which was apparently forgotten, even though the head waiter came in the meantime and mentioned it was coming. The food was OK. I didn't see the bill. When I asked, I was told I had to go in to pay by card and that I would receive the bill by email. I did receive proof of payment, but I didn't see the bill showing what we consumed.

Update: A return visit was unfortunately less positive. We received very friendly service. The food was visually appealing and incredibly delicious. Today was a beautiful day, and even though it was still too early to sit outside, the outdoor area was open. We sat outside, but unfortunately, the vegetation wasn't quite ready yet. The interior is very invitingly decorated. We really enjoyed the food and enjoyed it.

The cuisine has been very convincing for years. However, as soon as the service quality is rated worse than 5 stars, the owner takes action via Google for “defamation”. It's a shame, that's not the point of it.

Very nicely decorated Italian restaurant. The rooms including toilets have been completely modernized. The service is very, very good friendly, fast and efficient. The menu is complemented by delicious recommendations. In summer there is a beautiful beer garden on the banks of the Main. The chef created a delicious dairy-free pasta dish especially for me, tagliatelle with salciccia and a spicy tomato sauce.

We dined here on Boxing Day 2024 with 15 people. The restaurant, with beautifully designed rooms and very nice chairs, invites you to relax. I can only recommend a taste explosion as a starter with “baked sheep’s cheese” and the crispy, hearty “Pizza Vladi” (vegetarian!). Everything is first class! Very elegantly furnished restaurant with a cool bar and a pleasant atmosphere. In summer there is also a large beer garden outside. Super nice host who takes great care of his guests. The food was very tasty, from the starter (including bruschetta + prawns) to the main course (schnitzel, salmon, linguine...) and dessert. Pictures will follow on the next visit. Also worth mentioning is the extensive draft beer selection!

I love this place! It's close to my mother's apartment, the food there is super delicious and you feel comfortable and welcome. I usually go there to drink wine or cocktails and the best thing is to enjoy the beautiful weather outside in the summer!

Really good. I ate a starter because the main courses were just too much for me. I'm not a German XXL eater. But the hamburgers are sensational. You're almost sitting by the water and Nadia is such a love UPDATE: A lot has changed and Nadia and her sisters no longer exist.

The pizza was very good. I'm a little disappointed with the service. The drinks didn't come until we were almost halfway through the meal. We didn't get what we ordered. The iced tea didn't taste that good and was grossly overpriced at €7.50. We also had to wait a long time for the bill.

We became aware of the restaurant through the Schlemmerblock because it is in such a beautiful location on the Main and we are always looking for new routes to go for walks. The service was friendly and attentive and the food was delicious. In summer, and now while the weather is still nice, you can sit outside in the green.

We were there twice. Our orders were lost twice. There were enough staff. Portion sizes vary clearly from table to table. Unfortunately, price quality/performance didn't match. I noticed a strange situation from the next table. Junior boss not capable of criticism. Reacts unprofessionally and loudly through the entire beer garden. Very uncomfortable for guests. The ambience is not enough for a third visit. The service should urgently rethink its attitude towards guests!

Just had a drink and the kids ate some chicken nuggets. They were probably quite tasty.
