An unforgettable wedding celebration – with a lot of heart! We had the pleasure of celebrating our wedding reception at this wonderful venue last Saturday – and we're still overwhelmed! The atmosphere was fantastic, the food delicious – our guests were all thrilled with the quality and taste! The service was warm, attentive, diligent, and professional. Thank you Thomas, Heidi, and Melli! A big thank you also goes to Ralf – the consultation and communication beforehand was super pleasant, open, and personal. Two small points we'd like to mention, though: The lawn could have been a bit more well-maintained (mowed) for this occasion – and with the number of guests, a little more salmon would have been perfect. Many thanks to the entire team – we'll never forget this day and can wholeheartedly recommend the venue!

Great service, very tasty food.

The food and service were exceptionally good. I haven't eaten such well-prepared chanterelle mushrooms and fried potatoes in a long time. The service staff was also very friendly, courteous, and attentive. The only caveat to note is the location of the outdoor area and the associated traffic noise.

An old pub from the GDR era. Middle-class decor, large and small dining rooms, a smoking room, and a modest outdoor seating area. A mixed clientele, hardly any hipsters. Occasional card players. Usually empty in the evenings, kitchen closes at 9 p.m., pub closing at 11 p.m. Good selection of draft beers. Simple, affordable, and tasty German cuisine. ❗BUT: Incredibly rancid and reluctant waitress, who finds even a coffee order at 8:30 p.m. an imposition—even from regular and generous drinkers. BOTTOM LINE: During the day, it's a good place to grab a hearty meal without a long wait. Currently unsuitable as a restaurant for social gatherings with intellectually challenging orders. Keep tips to a minimum!

Great value, real discovery! Delicious food in generous portions. Had the best pasta dish ever with the seasonal German mushroom speciality, Pfifferlinge. Friends loved them served with heartily fried potatoes (Röstkartoffeln). Several other typical German dishes like Matjeshering and Maultaschen on the menu. Great atmosphere outside, similar to Savignyplatz, as surrounded by other outdoor eateries. Nice quiet corner inside for our bigger group of friends, where we could chat without having to shout. Dessert menu somehow restricted by only offering cake but great cake selection made up for that. Fresh mint tea was our favourite postprandial drink.
