We celebrated our silver wedding anniversary here. It was a great day. The food was great, the service was great but unobtrusive. It is clear that quality has its price! We can absolutely recommend the restaurant.

It's been a long time since I tried chef Gaetano's cuisine and a trip to Germany with the family in the middle of August was the right opportunity. The detour to get to Donna Francesca was once again worth the trip. Simple cuisine but with combinations capable of surprising and excellent raw materials treated with skill. A quality cellar, impeccable service and a cool temperature were the setting for a splendid evening.

Very familiar and cozy atmosphere. The food is always good, Pizza Tonno was huge and juicy. Baby calamari very very good and fresh. The dessert with “many variations” on a plate is the crowning glory.

High quality and fresh Italian cuisine

Very tasty, authentic, warm. All dishes including meat dishes from the daily menu, coffee and dessert are prepared to perfection. Very nice!

Had nothing to do with a good Italian. Unfortunately we were extremely disappointed. Parma pizza without ham and tomatoes Mozzarella pizza without tomatoes and the pasta was unfortunately also bottomless. The only good thing was that the pizza wasn't charged. Otherwise, unfortunately, give the store a wide berth in the future.

Unfortunately we were disappointed. The food was below average, the ham was forgotten in the Parma pizza and the tomatoes were forgotten in the tomato mozzarella pizza. The rest wasn't good either. For the prices, you definitely expect a lot more. Definitely not a second time, what a shame.

A super authentic environment, with real Italian people who completely round off the flair. The starters and the dessert variety were great. The main courses were ok, but overall a really good impression!

We were at Donna Francesca's last night, the waiters are very, very friendly, very attentive, always ready to smile. The food was wonderful. Of course I come back very often.

We went to Donna Francesca completely by chance. We got past it and it looked pretty nice. Then it was. Inside it looks very elegant, so we thought we were definitely going to be poor. There was bruschetta, which I didn't eat, but everyone else thought it was very good. We all decided on the Parma pizza, which we found to be okay at 16.50 euros because it had plenty of toppings. Unfortunately, lasagne was out, which was a shame. We are happy that we discovered Donna Francesca and we certainly won't be there for the last time.

Great evening restaurant highly recommended for a special occasion

They no longer had what I wanted. They no longer had what my brother-in-law wanted. After we had eaten our main courses and wanted to order desserts, we were ignored or not seen. Unfortunately, the ambience is not particularly appealing due to the gray walls and Ikea chairs. For the price you pay I just expect a little more.

We celebrated our daughter's birthday, the staff was super friendly, the service was great, the food tasted great and we'd love to come back.

We are with Tanio, the Sicilian. If I want to eat well, I go there, to Donna Francesca. The goods come from first-class suppliers and some directly from Sicily. I don't have to worry about what's on the table. Tanio knows how to handle this product: with love, joy and lots of variety. The creations that come to the table cannot be found on every corner. Bravo. The service is friendly and very professional; they are happy to respond to requests or suggest something. What more do you want? Keep it up. See you soon, Michel

Donna Francesca is ours Favorite restaurant: Whenever we want to eat very well, we go here. Here we feel welcome, discuss with the waiter or the boss what we would like to eat and drink with it and are always very satisfied with the advice and what we get. My vegetarian menu wishes are very happy to be implemented; the perfect preparation of meat or fish makes my gourmet happy. The dessert offering also shows the desire to offer something special, both in variety and presentation. It is exceptional Italian cuisine. Mostly vegetables and other foods imported directly from Sicily. The tasteful furnishings are the icing on the cake… The restaurant is worth a trip

The food is actually very Italian, which means less sauce than usual with run-of-the-mill Italians. Portions are reasonable. Prices a little above normal. Ambiance inside is a matter of taste for me it was a bit too sterile. Personally I like it a bit more comfortable.

I don't understand the good reviews, I found hair in my food several times!! The price is far too expensive for this normal food, nothing special but you should pay more attention to hygiene, just disgusting

The main courses arrived very late, which is not normal for pasta. Aglio Olio was bad, the pasta was hard. It's too loud in the restaurant, it's hard to have a conversation. We won't be back any time soon. A pity

The waiter was probably tired, he was shuffling with his feet, his legs were probably heavy. But he was able to talk loudly and a lot with his colleagues. If you don't order anything, you won't get anything to drink, empty glasses are constantly overlooked.

The service was great, but the lasagne I've ordered was partially cold and with no spices at all..

The food, the service, everything around was very good! There were two of us there and we had a starter request, which was fulfilled immediately and very tasty. Happy to come back!

We wanted to have lunch in their restaurant around 2 p.m. today (5 seniors). We were turned away very abruptly and unfriendly; there was no table available for us. Never happened to me before. Incredible.

Very personal support and advice. The food is hot and of fresh quality. I love eating with sparkling cutlery, warm plates and cloth napkins. I found the prices reasonable. It's worth choosing the table where you want to eat on site. A successful evening is guaranteed.

Actually a very nice restaurant - also in terms of ambience, clearly the best in Tegel. But once again the food wasn't so good; for example the pasta with salmon and zucchini. The advertised lobster sauce was not found in the food, the taste was totally bland - we had to add a lot of salt, luckily there was olive oil free of charge. Somehow the portions are big enough but the taste isn't that great. The others at the table weren't overly enthusiastic about their other food either. Plus everything is very expensive.

Tolles italienisches Restaurant mit erstklassiger Küche. Die Salate sind großartig und die Pizzen sind sehr lecker. Guter Service und nette Bedienung.

Tisch war zugig kalt mit Blick auf die Küche und viel Geklapper von dort. Ambiente sonst schön. Stühle unbequem. Essen geschmacklos, kaum gewürzt, keine italienischen Kräuter, Kellner unaufmerksam…

Es gibt im Norden von Berlin kein italienisches Restaurant, was dem gleich kommt. Service großartig, Kellner umsichtig, Essen auf dem Punkt und alles mega - lecker! Immer wieder gern!

Das Essen war sehr gut, der Service äußerst freundlich. Das Ambiente passt ohne Einschränkungen, die Preise sind fair. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Es war ein sehr schöner Abend. Etwas teurer als bei anderen Italienern , aber dafür auch ein sehr gutes Essen. Mein Schweinefilet war sehr durchgebraten, es wurde sofort noch einmal neu für mich gemacht. Hat auch wirklich nicht lange gedauert.

Went there for office team lunch. The food was superb. I had the Tagliatelle ala Salmone. One of the best Pastas I've had since moving to Germany. And for Dessert I had the Tiramisu. It was fabulous. So soft and moist and the cherry jam with crumble complemented the tiramisu very well.

Sehr schmackhaftes Essen. Frische Zutaten. Gemüse auf den Punkt gegart. Soßen ganz köstlich. Der Service ist herzlich und auch für einen kleinen Plausch zu haben. Die Tageskarte wird am Tisch vorgetragen. Preis-Leistung ist sehr gut. Wir kommen wieder.

Hurra,ein echter Italiener-Sizilianer, authentische Küche liebevoll und schmackhaft angerichtete "Küche", nette Kellner,ein schöner Nachmittag,und die superleckerste Dessertkreation,die ich je gegessen habe.... BRAVO!

Der Italiener befindet sich in der fussgängerzone in Tegel. Es gibt einen aussenbereich. Witterungsbedingt saßen wir jedoch drinnen. Netter Service. Wir waren eine Gruppe von 15 Personen und alle bekamen gleichzeitig ihr Essen. Einrichtungen ist gehoben.

Wie das Brigantino in Steglitz, das Sapori di Casa in Mitte oder das Focaccino in Charlottenburg auf sizilianische Küche spezialisiert. Was mir gefallen hat: die karierten Tischdecken, sowie die Oliven- und Orangenbäumchen. Das Brot mit Olivenöl als Vorspeise. Orechiette und Burrata auf der Karte. Das gibt es nicht in allen italienischen Restaurants. Der Service wirkte routiniert. Das Essen insgesamt gut, aber auch nicht umwerfend. Ich würde sagen gehobene Mittelklasse. Meiner Meinung nach fehlt etwas zur 5 Sterne Bewertung. Vielleicht liegt es am Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, das für mich nicht vollkommen überzeugend ist. Die Qualität der Gerichte entspricht nicht dem relativ hohen Preis. Die Pasta Gerichte z.B. sind überwiegend mit fettiger Sahnesauce. Etwas mehr Vielfalt bei den Gerichten würde die Speisekarte noch attraktiver machen.

Hatte eine Fischplatte 1 Person für 28,- Euro. Die "Menge" ein Witz und das für den Preis. Der Geschmack so la, la. Insgesamt nicht zu empfehlen!

Immer wenn wir im Sommer in Alt Tegel sind gehen wir hier essen 🥰. Diesmal schien uns der gewohnte Service nicht so zu stimmen. Uns wurde ein Tisch zugewiesen der voll mit Blättern und sonstigem von Bäumen war. Das die Tische unter den Schatten spendenden Bäumen stehen wissen wir. Erwartet hätten wir dass der Tisch für den Gast beim setzten gesäubert wird. Dem war nicht so 😐. Das haben wir dann selbst erledigt. Auch war der Ober bei der Bestellaufnahme "nicht bei uns" 😔 Sein Blick schweifte über die Terrasse zu anderen Gästen. Kennen wir eigentlich so nicht...... Das ausgesuchte Essen war lecker und der Wein 🍷 sowie der Grappa danach mundeten! Wir kommen nächsten Sommer wieder!

Juni 2023: Es war wieder, wie auch zwischendurch, sehr lecker und gut. Die Kellner sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, das Essen sehr lecker und, sowie Brot und Olivenöl vorab, von sehr guter Qualität. Immer gerne wieder :-) früher: Sehr leckeres Essen, frisches Brot, Olivenöl und Brot vorab, nette und freundliche Bedienung. Immer wieder gerne. WC im Keller.

Die Pizza war sehr lecker. Jederzeit wieder.

Wo soll ich anfangen.... Zu allererst haben wir 10 min auf unsere Speisekarten gewartet und uns diese letztendlich selber geholt. Als wir dann endlich unser Essen bestellen konnten, ging es dann doch recht schnell. Ich habe ein Langsange gegessen, nicht nur das diese 5 min nach den anderen gerichteten kam, sondern war auch noch in der Mitte kalt, wie aus der Mikrowelle. Zudem hatten wir eine Tomatensuppe bestellt, diese war gut, dennoch fehlte das auf der Karte versprochene Brot. Dann hatten wir außerdem noch das Foccacia Bruschetta bestellt dieses war gut genauso wie das Tiramisu. Was dem ganzen dann noch den Rest gegeben hat war, dass 10 min vor Ladenschließung eine Stimmung aufkam, als würde das Restaurant uns rausschmeißen wollen. Das Licht wurde erheblich gedimmt, sodass man fast im dunklen gegessen hat. Insgesamt eine nicht so gute Erfahrung.

Sehr leckere Speisen , sehr freundlicher Service, gute Weinauswahl und nette Aussicht. Sehr zu empfehlen !

Das Restaurant ist einladend und das Essen ist lecker. Allerdings habe ich woanders auch schon besser gegessen. Gerade die Pizza hat mich nicht überzeugt. Ich werde dennoch wiederkommen.

Unser erster Abend in Berlin und gleich der perfekte Start. Beste italienische Küche und ein toller, freundlicher Service. Die Pasta war hervorragend und insbesondere die Zucchini auf der Tagliatelle Salmone die besten, die ich jemals gegessen habe. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

Ein kleines Juwel in Alt Tegel. Es gab die beste Antipasti, die ich je gegessen habe. Die Pasta sah sehr gut aus: es fehlte bei allen Pastagerichten das "Quentchen" Salz, was ein Gericht schmackhaft macht, - leider. Brot, Wein, Tiramisu, alles war super-lecker. Der Service, die Atmosphäre war hervorragend. Trotz "Salz" kommen wir gerne wieder.
