Wow, before I was a guest here for the first time I could hardly believe it, a kebab shop with over 400 reputable reviews and 4.9 stars, that's a rarity in my opinion. At first glance everything seemed quite inconspicuous, but upon closer inspection it was very clean and tidy. I was served in a friendly manner, the bread was freshly made, the meat was cut straight from the spit and the result was really impressive - almost perfect. I can only recommend everyone to dine here, it's definitely worth it!

An amazing 4.9 stars from 447 reviews. Expectations are of course high and we excitedly head to Bahnhofstrasse in Bensheim. It has to be said that there are quite a few kebab shops in Bensheim. The competition is correspondingly high and can boast some really good kebabs. In order to achieve such a good customer rating here, you definitely have to do a few things right. And that's what the owners do, as you can see from the comments in the recessions. You can often read here about “the best kebab in the city” and “super delicious bread”. Well then, let's see. The kebab station is a very small, inconspicuous shop at Bahnhofstrasse number 15. The direct neighbor on the left is also a kebab snack bar that is a little larger and more open. This neighbor can also serve with indoor seating, which unfortunately is very limited in our small station. Sitting outside isn't a problem when the weather is nice. During our visit we were greeted very friendly by a young woman and a young man. The two of them immediately gave us the feeling that they were genuinely happy about our visit. Perhaps this is partly due to the immediate competition next door, which is taking away one or two customers. But with a reception like this you immediately feel very comfortable as a guest. We wanted to take advantage of the nice weather and so after ordering we took a seat outside in the sun. Our food came quite quickly, although this unfortunately leads to a small point of criticism: the fries could have easily stayed in the deep fryer for 1-2 minutes longer, because fries have to be crispy! At least anywhere other than McDonalds. It's a shame, but not that bad. Let's get straight to the main character of our menu and the object of our desire: the kebab. Ordered in two versions - once classic with garlic sauce and once with hot sauce. The bread is, as mentioned several times in the other reviews, really good and the garlic sauce is very tasty. Unfortunately we didn't like the hot sauce. The chicken was great; not too fatty and fried nice and crispy. Perfect. However, the other ingredients differ from what you would normally expect and make this kebab taste different to the competition. White and red cabbage, tomatoes and pickled peppers are completely avoided here. The contents only consist of iceberg lettuce, cucumbers and pepper strips. Of course, this has the advantage that the bread does not turn into mush due to the cabbage water, as is often the case with other kebabs in the last third. On the other hand, a lot of the typical kebab taste is missing, as the cucumber and peppers have a different taste, but are definitely fresh and crunchy. Our candidate comes across more like a fitness kebab, with somewhat spartan content, but with delicious bread and very tasty garlic sauce. Anyone who feels like trying an alternative kebab creation will find their happiness here. A clear recommendation from us, especially since the quality of the ingredients is excellent and the portion sizes are absolutely fine.

Very tasty, homemade bread, super friendly service and the price is okay despite kebab inflation! The vegetables are something different than the standard kebab, but they go great! For me the best kebab in Bensheim. Don't confuse it with the shop next door... who actually allowed something like that in the city administration?

The freshly prepared flatbread alone is a unique selling point here in Bensheim, but everything else tastes simply excellent. If you want kebab, then here!

I won't say anything about the price and size, it's just as expensive and small everywhere these days. I still got full from the “big” kebab with cheese. 😉 Friendly staff. The quality was right: nice selection of sauces (garlic and spicy tasted great to me), fresh vegetables, crispy meat (chicken, not lamb). The freshly homemade flatbread is worth highlighting. Yummy. I've saved the shop and will definitely come back for a kebab next time I'm in Bensheim. 👍

This kebab has been my absolute favorite for months. At no other store have I ever had such a delicious meal with rotisserie meat as I did here. He makes everything himself, even the dough for the kebab, the dürüm/yufka or pide is freshly kneaded and baked. It really doesn't get any fresher. Every day there is a new skewer with the best meat without any harmful additives. No meat from the day before! And also the selection of salads and co. for kebabs etc. are unique and creative. And the sauces are amazing too. From garlic yogurt to cocktails to spicy — all homemade. In addition, it is always a pleasure to talk to the boss. You can really tell that he has a lot of joy and fun in his work and that he clearly stands out from the competition. He does his craft with love. And his family is also really nice when you meet them in the store. All in all, it's my favorite kebab shop of all time and since I've been in Bensheim every week, at least one visit per week is a must. Thank you for having this store and for everything being so great. I'm really looking forward to being able to get my favorite kebab products here for many years to come.

Das selbst gemachte Döner Brot mit Sesam ist ein Traum! Die junge Familie macht das super.

Salat ist frisch, Brot wird direkt vor Ort gemacht, viele Soßen zu Auswahl, einfach nur zum weiter empfehlen. Kann man nix falsch machen, meiner Meinung nach der bestseller, der Dönerteller.

Mir wurde von eine Kollegin hier empfohlen.Ich habe eine döner Teller und eine Pizzs bestellt. Fleisch war saftig und sehr lecker. Pizza genauso top und lecker.Ich freue mich auf nächste Besuch.Inhaber und sein Frau sind super nett.
