I ordered a portion of kebab, which came with rice and only two slices of bread. The soup tasted like water, and the food was completely tasteless.

I've visited many kebab shops, but the food here just wasn't for me... I had Turkish meatballs, which were super spicy... So I can't say anything bad about it, except that the food was a bit too expensive.

I've been ordering food from there regularly for months and I'm more than satisfied. The portions are large, they arrive quickly, and they taste delicious! It's also great that despite changes to the menu, all the orders have always been correct! I highly recommend them!

The meat was cold. Overpriced, and with a kebab, for example, you're only allowed two sauces; if you want more, it costs extra, which is ridiculous. Better to eat at a Greek restaurant.

We ordered. I realize that it's possible that the kebabs delivered aren't that hot, but our food was completely cold. The meat was good, but there wasn't enough sauce for the amount. The red and white cabbage were very sour. The separate sauce for the large kebab plate was very small. They're definitely skimping on the sauce.

I've known this place for years; the renovation was worth it. The doner kebab wrap was always delicious. Everything else was delicious and fresh. But yesterday's meal was a complete disaster. Admittedly, it was very busy last night. I had to wait over 45 minutes(!) at my table, and only after asking three times did I get my food. Unfortunately, the bread wrap was fuzzy (it's normally nice and crispy), the chicken wasn't cooked through, and the whole thing, including the salad, was pretty soggy, as if it had been sitting out for a while. It didn't taste good at all and was completely unacceptable!!! What a shame!

Disappointing Visit to the Döner Pavilion I visited the Döner Pavilion today and discovered that card payments are only accepted for orders over €10. So I opted for a Jumbo Dürum for €11. Things didn't go smoothly right from the preparation stage: First, they prepared the wrong size, then added more meat to "correct" it. In the end, I did get my Jumbo Dürum, but the overall impression was already tainted. After a few bites outside the shop, I realized: The meat was tasteless, as were the sauces – I had chosen tzatziki and hot sauce. The tomatoes seemed dried out or overcooked and lacked a fresh flavor. Overall, the product was very disappointing in quality. I then returned to the shop and complained politely. The employee seemed more defensive than solution-oriented. Instead of addressing my feedback, he emphasized that the shop had been in business for 20 years and had never received a complaint – a response that had little to do with customer service. Ultimately, I suggested a falafel durum as a substitute – unfortunately, the taste was also disappointing and the quality was far below what you'd expect for €11. Conclusion: A disappointing experience on several levels – from the product to the service to the way criticism was handled. For me, it was my first and last visit. Anyone who values taste and customer satisfaction should look for an alternative.

Nice place, but how can a kebab be so greasy and tasteless? I ordered it with onions, but it came with onions and barely any sauce...

Instead of ordering from Albertinen Hospital via delivery service, I went there in person to clarify that the meat absolutely had to be cooked thoroughly for a pregnant woman. This was precisely why I made the visit in person! Neither the dürüm bread (wrap) was warmed or toasted, nor was the meat even remotely grilled – it was practically raw! Even though the store was busy, something like this shouldn't happen! The tall man at the cash register even walked up to the people in charge after ordering and asked for well-grilled meat. So, one assumes this will be done. Ultimately, the food ended up in the hospital's trash.

You should take a closer look. Especially with a kebab box. They put a lot of salad and not much meat. So, it's a rip-off. Regarding hygiene, you should also take a closer look. Unfortunately, my girlfriend and I got sick very quickly from the food because we had hair in the food. When we asked the waitress about it, the chef came and just said that we had eaten half of the meal and still had to pay for the meal. What a disgrace, we ate maybe two bites. Never here again. Unhygienic, worst service and animal cruelty. A desolate mini aquarium with no plants or places to hide. The poor fish!!!!!!!!!

I said Dürüm without everything, just meat and onions, what did I get, a normal Dürüm with everything... why do you ask the customers if you do it differently anyway? The food was also cold, even though I picked it up locally. I have no idea how something like that works. Freshly prepared and still cold.

But what I absolutely don't like is the desolate, far too small aquarium in which the poor fish are supposed to "live" without plants, etc., and therefore without any place to hide. I want everyone to know that there are scammers at work here. Today, March 30, 2025, at 10:00 PM, I paid 50 euros and ordered four kebabs. They made me one and charged me another 7 euros. In the end, they made three kebabs. I only ate one. In the end, I didn't take the money and left of my own accord. Everyone at the top sees, to each their own merits. The bald man offered to solve the problem, but I left because they were trying to deceive me. It was terrible. In the end, I stressed myself out, spent 57 euros, and ate one kebab. God be your judge.

Very disappointed with the food, unfortunately absolutely unappetizing and overpriced. Was there a few years ago with the previous owner, food was quite good! Were there for the third time now, I thought ok, maybe I had a bad day as an Estonian and my second visit, but no, the food is absolutely inedible and totally overpriced for what they serve! Waited over half an hour for the order and then completely dry and lifeless! Döner plate of this quality is incredible for €15. Very unfortunate

I have lived in Schnelsen for almost two years, and we have been to Döner Pavillon four or five times, either alone or with our family, which means that we have become regular customers. So far, we have enjoyed the doner kebab and the other dishes here more than anywhere else in Hamburg. The staff are nice and friendly, and the service is OK; sometimes an order can take a while, depending on what you order, for example something grilled or a kebab. My father is from Turkey, and I lived in Turkey for many years. I find the doner kebab and kebab at Döner Pavillon taste much better to me. I cannot understand the low reviews. My family and I are very happy with Döner Pavillon.

The things from the grill are very cool. Unfortunately, the kebab itself is just like everywhere else, not that great, more like a 3/5 which is the normal standard in Hamburg, so no offense meant, you just get what you can expect with the kebab. The chicken was completely(!) cold, not even lukewarm. Requests are little or not addressed at all or are they forgotten?

Unfortunately I can't recommend it, I ordered there and my husband has been in bed with food poisoning since Wednesday. Luckily I didn't eat any more after eating a bite of rubbery meat. What saved me was that he vomited and had a fever of 38.8.

I go here every other week and eat a kebab with fries. It always tastes extremely delicious and I've never had anything made wrong or mixed up. I take it to go and then eat it at home. He packs it up so well, it's still super hot after a bus ride. The man at the counter is different nice. It is currently being rebuilt and the back part therefore looks like a construction site. The kebab pavilion is the best kebab shop in the city in my opinion.

Worst kebab I've ever eaten - never again! I ordered the following from the kebab pavilion in Schnelsen today: a Lamacun kebab and a kebab bag. The price was supposed to be €16.50, but instead I was charged €21.20 – an absolute disgrace! The food itself was a disaster. The Lamacun and the kebab pocket were inedible as the meat was partially burnt, as the attached photo shows. I wanted to dispose of both as quickly as possible but I still wanted to share my experience. The order was in the trash after exactly 4 bites. The quality of the food was so poor that I had to go to the toilet several times afterwards and suffer from diarrhea. In addition, there is a pile of construction rubble in front of the store that hasn't been disposed of for weeks. I even spotted a large rat there. Unfortunately I couldn't take a photo because the rat was too fast, but the sight alone was absolutely disgusting and shows how little emphasis is placed on hygiene here. I really can't recommend this store to anyone. For these prices and these conditions, this is simply unacceptable. An experience I definitely won't repeat!

This is the worst place I've been in Hamburg. I waited 20 minutes for my order and it never arrived. I went to the checkout. He's still not ready, the place is practically deserted. No, that's not normal. In those 20 minutes I had time to come home and make myself some durum kebab, bring it back and serve it to all the guests.

We tried this because the kebab looked good from the outside. We bought 3 dürüm beef to take away. Priced like everyone else. We were disappointed in the taste. The kebab doesn't taste like kebab, more like simple meat mixed with chicken or something like that. Salad wasn't really our thing either. We didn't like it overall. Others may enjoy it. We won't eat there anymore.
