Best cartilage bag I've ever had.

I used to really enjoy eating there, but now I've decided to leave it alone. The quality isn't what it used to be, and the prices are exorbitantly high.

I have experience with kebabs all over Germany thanks to my job. I've had a lot of junk, but what they deliver is way better than that. The toppings are poor, the meat is terrible, dry as a desert, and flavorless. In retrospect, I wonder why the lines in front of the shop are so long. I'd rather go to McEee or BK next time; it would have been (sadly) faster, better, and cheaper. So, stay away from that shop and eat somewhere else.

I've rarely seen such overwhelmed staff, unable to handle a rush of customers. Orders are mixed up, and for an extra €1, you get two flakes of cheese on your kebab. I've rarely experienced anything so bad. One star because the meat is delicious.

I always find it delicious and eat there often, and the staff is friendly and accommodating. I'm always happy to come back and would recommend the place to anyone.

Truly wow! The extremely warm and friendly staff take customer preferences regarding their preferred food into account, making you feel completely at home! You really can't complain about the quality of the food: fresh salad and freshly prepared roasted vegetables, as well as a clean work area. Especially since there's sometimes a bit of gristle in the meat, which is normal and really no problem to sort out! A truly great kebab shop!

Döner Dest – A Culinary Nightmare Best Avoided My visit to Döner Dest was unfortunately a bad experience I've had in a fast-food establishment. I'm not usually one to write a bad review – everyone can have a bad day. But what I experienced here was not only disappointing, but also, in my opinion, a health concern. Just looking at the display, I was taken aback. The meat – the heart of every kebab – was already sliced ​​and lying on a shelf. No meat freshly cut from a spit, no heat, no aroma. Instead, cold, limp pieces of meat that had obviously been sitting there for a while. Freshness doesn't look like anything else. The first bite was another disappointment: Some of the meat was undercooked, and in some places it was even raw. That's not only unappetizing, but downright dangerous. On top of that, the meat was full of gristle and in some places it was chewable like rubber. The chewing experience was truly unpleasant and almost completely ruined my appetite. The sauces, which were supposed to add flavor, were barely distinguishable from water in consistency. They were completely thin, tasteless, and simply not what you'd expect from a good kebab. Whether it was garlic, herb, or spicy sauce, everything tasted equally watery and cheap. But the worst came after the meal: Shortly after eating, I developed severe stomach problems – first diarrhea, then the complete opposite: constipation. This is truly not a normal course of symptoms after a meal, and it bothered me for several days. I've never experienced anything like this at any other kebab shop. It wasn't just a one-time feeling of discomfort, but a real stomach upset with persistent symptoms. I seriously wonder about the state of food hygiene in this shop. In my opinion, it would be absolutely appropriate for the health department or food inspectors to visit. Raw meat and such an unhygienic impression are the last straw. Overall, I can't recommend Dönner Dest to anyone. If you want to protect your stomach and your health, you should steer clear of this place. There are so many good kebab shops out there – this one is definitely not one of them. I'd love to give it 0 stars, but unfortunately, that's not possible with Google. One star is already too many here. The only positive thing I can say is that the service was friendly. The employee was polite and, despite everything, made a nice impression – but that alone isn't enough when the product itself is so disappointing.

Now I'll explain the problem. A few months ago, it was a passable kebab. But recently, as in the other reviews: The meat was undercooked several times. Some spots were pink. The meat is also often gristly, which indicates very poor quality. We've had diarrhea or severe nausea here several times. Often, they just hastily put a new frozen skewer on the table and don't wait long enough to serve it. The salad isn't always really fresh and had hardly any bite. I can't say anything about the sauces, except that the kebab was completely dry because they hardly used any. The staff are otherwise friendly, albeit disorganized. And, well, hygiene isn't exactly a priority there either. You can see what the saladette often looks like... Yesterday, they simply cut up and used meat that had been sitting there for more than 10 minutes. Stay away from that shop. We won't be going there anymore and hope the shop undergoes a proper inspection or even closes down. If you like diarrhea, this is the place for you. The portion size is now like a kid's kebab. But the main thing is to raise the prices. What have you done with this shop?! The RRZ simply lacks the competition from a second kebab shop. Then something would change.

I ordered a chicken dürüm with chicken. Instead, my Dürüm contained mostly beef waste, the pieces of which were also very large, undercooked and appeared whitish and raw in many places. The taste of the chicken meat was almost indistinguishable from the dough - it was also white and tasteless. During preparation, I watched as the staff removed fries directly from the deep fryer with unprotected hands. Such an approach is not possible at all. I would like to expressly point out that your kebab shop “Dest” in the Rhein-Ruhr-Zentrum Mülheim is absolutely inedible. This establishment is shoddy junk and offers neither quality nor taste. A visit there represents an unacceptable health and quality risk for your customers.

I ordered a kebab there I got one that tasted completely burnt. Apparently the burnt pieces of meat were simply thrown in. The store is there because the customers buy from you. If the customers stay away, you can close the store. I'll never shop there again.

For a snack at RRZ it is very tasty. You can ignore the ambience. The portions are large, we were full for the rest of the day after one plate of kebab. (We were there around 3 p.m.). Small suggestion for improvement: The fact that there is a waiting line and a payment line could be signposted for new customers.

I ordered a chicken kebab. I had a stomach ache straight after eating it. Despite the taste being ok, there wasn't enough sauce on it and the meat wasn't good. You could taste the spiciness quite a bit.

The taste was very boring, for example the yogurt sauce tasted like nothing. Dürüm wasn't a real Turkish dürüm, the ingredients were rolled up in a tortilla roll. Unfortunately, it was rolled up badly, so that the whole pants were full of sauce.

Where should we start? The store looks dingy and unfortunately doesn't taste good. The meat is cartilaginous and there were small pieces of bone in it too. Nevertheless, the hunger was driven by glutamate and we can therefore understand why they want to sell their expensive drink when ordering. After a long wait and communication problems, there was a paid large kebab (€9.45), a normal one (€6.45) & despite repeated requests, the cheese was also left out. (The line behind us was very long.) Nevertheless, the vegetables were nice and fresh and the flatbread was nice and crispy hot, and the sauce was also delicious. The contents were really ridiculous for a normal kebab. They can be happy that they have a monopoly there. If there were a Poldi kebab there, then they would simply be BANK. Next time I visit the RRZ, I'd rather go to Asia Hung, KFC or Nordsee (I can only recommend the latter!!!) & I don't want to swim in nostalgia, but 10 years ago the satchel shop was much better! #CustomerLost Edit.! I ate a chicken kebab there yesterday. Had diarrhea and stomach pain last night. That was the second time in a month. The quality of the meat is just disgusting. Only fat and gristle. Never again

That was by far the worst thing I've ever eaten in my life. I had a chicken kebab ,a fries and a coke. The customer in front of us was asked if he wanted vegetables on his kebab, but we didn't, even though he ordered the same thing as me. I had to complain about the cola because it tasted stale and not carbonated and I also saw the gentleman not filling the cup fresh. The fries weren't cooked through. Just wasted money, never again.

By far my worst kebab. Cartilaginous and tough cheap meat, salad overly acidic. The ambience and service apply to the RRZ itself, the store has nothing to do with that anyway (food mile a la Centro Oase)

We have been regular guests for years for a kebab before going to the cinema. Unfortunately, we found that the quality of the meat had deteriorated significantly. Calf very cartilaginous. Overall, the meat was less seasoned and less tasty. The coleslaw is sour. A pity. We are happy to pay a little more, but lower quality is not acceptable.

Die Preise sind ganz passabel, da auch die Portionen ziemlich groß sind. Das Personal richtet deren Arbeit in der Regel schnell aus. Meistens freundlich, aber auch öfters mal desinteressiert (was auch völlig in Ordnung ist). Der Geschmack ist in Ordnung, nicht sehr intensiv, aber auf keinen Fall schlecht.

Das Essen hat sich über die Jahre leider eher verschlechtert als verbessert. Teilweise bekommt man knoperliges Fleisch und dazu steigen die Preise auch noch. Ein einfaches Dürüm kostet mittlerweile 7,45€!

Knorpeldönerspiess hat mit Döner Kebab nichts zu tun. Nur Fett und Knorpel zu einer Festen Masse zusammengefasst. Salat Naja. Service langsam. Massenabfertigung Dönerfleisch minderwertig die letzte Qualitätsstufe alles zur Gewinnsteigerung. Nie wieder.

Bei einem Besuch im RRZ bevorzuge ich das Döner Haus Dest. Der Salat ist frisch und Hähnchen-Gyros wird reichlich ausgeteilt. Mir fehlt allerdings die Knoblauchsoße zum Gyros. Dem Personal sind feste Aufgaben zugewiesen, so dass die Bestellung schnell umgesetzt wird.

Der Döner ist sehr zu empfehlen. Beide Fleischsorten sind gut. Salate sind frisch. Ich esse sehr gerne Döner und hole mir regelmäßig seit Jahren dort Döner. Das Personal ist freundlich.

Leider war meine Erfahrung hier auch nicht positiv! Nachdem kassiert wurde gab es keine Reihenfolge beim bedienen. Es wurde sehr hektisch bedient. So dass auch Zutaten auf dem Döner landeten die man garnicht wollte! Das Hähnchenfleisch des bestellten Chicken-Döners war eher von minderer Qualität und fettig. Ich werde hier nicht wieder essen!

Ich muss sagen, dass ich die schlechten Rezensionen nicht nachvollziehen kann. Bestelle dort gerne einen Falafel Dürum der immer vollgepackt und frisch ist. Auch früher als ich noch Fleisch gegessen habe hat mir der Döner dort immer geschmeckt

Großer Döner fast 9,00€. Nicht wenig aber schon lecker (wenn man nichts anderes kennt). Auch hier gilt: Die Lage und wenig Alternative erlaubt es, Hammerpreise zu verlangen. Das Personal fand ich, dafür dass es schon stressig war, freundlich. Bezahlung nur Bar. Keine EC/VISA möglich.

Sehr guter Döner Laden mit straffer Organisation, rechts bezahlen, links abholen. Man kann beim Dönerfleisch auswählen, ob man Hähnchen oder Kalb haben möchte. Die Ware ist super frisch, beim Salat gibt es sogar Rotkohl. Das Brot ist wunderbar getoastet und warm. Der Döner kostet klein (was eher einer normalen Größe entspricht) 5,95€ - absolut gerechtfertigt. Top Empfehlung!

Ich kann die 1 Sterne Bewertungen nicht bestätigen. Ja, der Dönerteller kostet 9.90 €. Allerdings war das eine große Portion. Habe die nicht geschafft. Bei dem Salat wurde ich gefragt, auch bei Fleisch ob Kalb oder Rind. Personal war freundlich und der Stand sauber. Qualität war auch in Ordnung. Die Pommes waren nicht fettig und das Kalbfleisch war auch ok. Einzig die Jogurtsauce war etwas geschmacksneutral. Alles in allem gut.

Große Portionen zu guten Preisen. Freundlichkeit ok, allerdings geht es hier manchmal zu wie am Fließband und da passieren öfter Fehler. Geschmacklich gut aber nichts besonderes.

Wir sind seit Jahren Stammkunden - leider hat es sich verschlechtert: die Preise sind mittlerweile unverschämt, die Portionen kleiner und nun schon einige Male nicht durch... Schade!

Seit vielen Jahren ist das Döner Haus, mit guter Qualität, im RheinRuhrZentrum ein fester Bestandteil. Die Speisen sind gut und das Personal freundlich.

Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis lässt doch sehr zu wünschen übrig. Bestellt wurde eine türkische Pizza, die nur sehr spartanisch belegt war. Für 6,95 € echt inakzeptabel. Bedienung und Sauberkeit absolut ok, darum noch 2 Punkte.

Esse dort schon seit Jahren. Qualität ist gleichbleibend gut und das Personal arbeitet gut organisiert.

Die Preise sind stark anstiegen. Gleichzeitig war bei unseren Gerichten, schon mehrmals, weniger Fleisch dabei. Werden wohl in Zukunft nicht mehr so häufig dort essen.

Döner gut, Servicepersonal scannt den Impfnachweis mit dem Auge und wundert sich über die Nachfrage wie er denn jetzt die entsprechenden Daten ermittelt. Ausserdem auch ein sehr unangenehmer Mitarbeiter an der Kasse.

Seit Jahren einer der besten Döner. Immer gleiche Qualität und freundlicher Service. Preis und Leistung sing gut.
