Unfortunately very bad food, hardly any taste

I was there today, but the cell phone's NFC at the checkout didn't work, so I couldn't pay. The man at the checkout got in trouble and threw all the kebab plates into the trash can. If the cell phone NFC doesn't work that's not my problem, it works everywhere.

I ate another kebab from you today and would like to be honest with you. The kebab tasted delicious. Meat is standard minced meat, but delicious. Salad was delicious and your sauces were just the same. The only negative thing I've noticed several times is that you're stingy with the meat. For 7 or 9€ I expect more kebab meat than the few scraps you put in it. I don't know if it's intentional or accidental, but guys... You pay €9 for a minced meat kebab, so you don't have to save extra and maybe earn a few euros more. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is not right. Too bad.

We've had kebabs there several times. The kebabs used to be really delicious, and we went there often, but things have really gone downhill recently. Last time we got a Pom-Doner, the fries were still raw. This time we got a kebab, and the meat was completely burnt.

Doner enjoyment is great! The meat is delicious and the fresh ingredients fit perfectly. The sauces are amazing!

Now I also got the kebab, after thinking about it 2 stars (3 stars for the taste, more in my opinion) - 2 stars because I took money and then touched the kebab bag. Although it was on the paper, the fingers touched the bread, among other things. I also don't really know if you pick out the pieces of meat from the electric cutter with your fingers. Now for the kebab: Bread is flabby and quickly becomes mushy or has a mushy feeling, meat is really little and also quite intense (?) / seasoned compared to other shops, e.g. from Altendorf. Overall 3/5. If you eat everything individually, then it's fine. But it didn't really harmonize.

Simply the best kebab shop in town! I've been to many kebab shops, but this one really stands out. The meat is always fresh and juicy, the sauces are homemade and incredibly delicious, and the bread is perfectly crusty. The portions are generous and the value for money is unbeatable. The service is friendly and quick, and the atmosphere is cozy. I always enjoy coming here and can only warmly recommend this snack bar!

The side dishes are always crispy and fresh and taste great with the meat. I am always particularly impressed by the generous portions I have been a regular customer for over 3 years and I honestly wonder how negative reviews can even come about. The service and quality were always consistently at the highest level. In contrast to many other kebab shops, they don't use simple minced meat here, but rather high-quality meat whose quality you can immediately taste. Since the new owner took over, the offering has even improved: There are now additional chicken kebabs, a larger selection and great menu offerings that really cater to every taste. For me, kebab enjoyment is the first choice. absolutely recommended!”

I haven't eaten such a bad kebab plate for a long time. I ordered it and it just came with meat and rice that wasn't fully cooked and there wasn't a pinch of salt or any spices on it, no salad, nothing. Back then we were proud that there was finally a good kebab shop in Altenessen. But since the last owner, the quality has been a disaster.

The tender kebab meat, the crispy bread and the fresh salad with various homemade sauces ensure a taste explosion. The employees are always courteous and friendly. You can only get the best kebab in Essen here. In contrast to the previous owner, it tastes much better, the portions are quite large so that you are full. When it comes to hygiene, other kebab shops are welcome to learn a lesson. Clear recommendation!

A very solid snack bar that offers kebab. The selection is quite small, almost normal for a nice shop. You can sit both inside and outside. The prices are similar to the other and surrounding kebab shops. The portions of each dish are all sufficient, so you will definitely always be full. My personal drawback is the opening time, as you might spontaneously want to have something to eat after 9 p.m. even during the week. However, this is not a major negative criterion.

Doner kebab was tasty, but the owners are a bit greedy with the contents. Charge €0.80 more for a bit of sheep's cheese. And they also secretly discuss in Turkish at the checkout who took extra cheese and who didn't. Make the cheese for free, it's the same everywhere else and please add a little more content for €6.50 and the kebab is really puny. You don't need 90 seconds to eat the kebab and just like that it's gone.

I bought a kebab here last week and I have to say I'm disappointed. The employee on the left seemed new and was very greedy with the portions. The kebab was as thin as toast and had more salad than meat in it. The employee worked very slowly and only put drops of sauce on it instead of a proper shot. Long story short. Doner kebab is tasty but the portion is kept very small. It couldn't satisfy my hunger. If you are really hungry, please avoid the shop, as the kebab wasn't enough, the falafel shop at Kaiser Park had to help out and they treat you to big portions

I can only agree with the previous speakers regarding the staff: super nice staff, fast service and basically a cool concept with the extraordinary sauces… Since I was hungry, I ordered a large kebab for €8.50 - I was absolutely not full. The bag was completely flat because the kebab was barely full. There was also so little sauce in it that you could only guess what it was. This made the whole thing pretty dry... Guys, take a euro more for the kebab and treat the customers to a sensible kebab that also fills them up. At least I would come back. So unfortunately it was my third and last visit/attempt with you for now

Also fangen wir erstmal mit dem Service an, Das Team ist wirklich sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Man kommt rein wird freundlich bedient und auch mal beraten. Das war auch schon immer so der Fall seit Eröffnung und ich hatte nie das Gefühl, eines der Mitarbeiter sei unhöflich zum Kunden. Der Laden ist recht einfach gehalten, also jetzt kein Hingucker, aber man kann auch sehr schön im Laden selbst essen. Das wichtigste jedoch ist der Geschmack und das Gesamtprodukt. Da ich am Eröffnungstag selbst da war und über die Jahre jetzt die verschiedensten Facetten des Döners testen konnte, muss ich sagen, dass die Qualität des Döners durch aus gleich geblieben ist. Das Fleisch ist meiner Meinung nach immer noch das beste im Umfeld, da es sehr würzig und fettig ist. Mit den hausgemachten Saucen rundet sich das alles dann noch einmal ab, denn diese sind nicht nur Frisch sondern schmecken nach wie vor immer noch sehr gut. Auch das Brot ist sehr Knusprig und das Gemüse frisch. Natürlich könnte man jetzt hier erwähnen, dass der Döner damals 4,50€ gekostet hat und mehr Inhalt, bezüglich auch des Fleisches, hatte. Aber das möchte ich garnicht. Kaum noch bis garnicht gibt es Läden, die diesen Preis haben mit gleicher Qualität. Durch die Inflation und höheren Preisen aber auch verständlich. Der jetzige Preis ist immer noch Fair und wer sich über zu wenig Fleisch beschwert kann für einen Aufpreis von 1€ oder 2€ mehr Fleisch verlangen. Alles in allem ist Döner Genuss auch heute noch eine Stärke im Umfeld und muss unbedingt, falls noch nicht getan, getestet werden. Was mich freuen würden ist, wenn es noch einen Lieferservice gibt. Vielleicht wird das ja in Zukunft noch kommen. Lg.

Im Prinzip ein schmackhafter Döner, ABER für mein Empfinden Preis Leistung nicht gerechtfertigt. Wirkt mittlerweile wie eine „platte Pflunder“, wenig Inhalt, so dass schon zwei Gerichte benötigt werden um einigermaßen satt zu werden. War früher regelmäßig dort, nun nur noch selten wenn im Umfeld eingekauft wird. Glaube die Rechnung geht nicht auf „zu sparen“ , deutlich weniger Kundschaft, früher war eine Schlange bis draußen. Der Besitzer arbeitet selbst auch kaum noch vor Ort, stattdessen Fremdpersonal oder Bekanntenkreis. Schade diese Entwicklung… ☹️ 🥙 Qualitative Alternativen gibt es im hiesigen Umfeld aber genug…👋

Noch nie einen Dönerladen gesehen der 0,90 EUR. für das Brot zum Dönerteller berechnet. Die Portionen sind ein Witz für die Preise, viel zu klein und nicht gerechtfertigt. Geschmack ist gut aber nicht bei solchen Preisen und Portionen.

Immer lecker, immer nett, immer gute Portionen. Bester Dönerladen in ganz essen. Die selbstgemachte Joppiesauce ist mein Geheimtipp!!

Super nettes Personal. Das Fleisch war sehr lecker und auch die Saucen schmecken top. Super finde ich das man die Schärfe noch selber wählen kann. Das Preisleistungsverhältnis passt.

Die Bedienung ist wirklich super und das Team sehr nett und zuvorkommend! Jedoch muss ich leider sagen, dass ich die meisten Bewertungen hier absolut nicht nachvollziehen kann. Beim Döner war sehr wenig Fleischanteil, die Qualität war höchstens Durchschnitt. Die Saucen wie schon von einem Vorredner beschrieben sehr ,wässrig' und der Schafskäse schmeckte extrem ,gummihaft' und trocken (bei 80 Cent Aufpreis..). Bitte nicht falsch verstehen, will hier niemanden diffamieren aber ich glaube mit dem netten Personal und der schönen Location geht viel viel mehr!

Das Personal dort ist sehr nett , mein Dönerteller war auch lecker , allerdings sind die Portionen dort für ca 11,90€ nicht gerechtfertigt.

Kurz und knapp, der Beste Döner, die Soßen von Yogurt über Cocktail, Honigsenf bis Yoppi dazu einfach Hammer. Zu dem sind die beiden an der Theke bisher immer freundlich, gut gelaunt. Die lieben ihren Job und das merkt man. Für mich insgesamt somit 5 von 5 Sternen. Macht weiter so Jungs.

Herausragende Freundlichkeit und Sauberkeit, gerechtfertigter Preis, riesige Auswahl an Salat und Saucen und das Fleisch schmeckt auch gut. Waren heute Abend zum ersten Mal spontan da. Sehr sauber und freundlich, große Auswahl an Saucen und sehr großen Pluspunkt für den Rotkohl und die anderen frischen Zutaten :) Preislich auch angemessen. Kommen gerne wieder.

Döner ging so. Salat nicht so frisch, billiger Schafskäse und saußen dünn wie Wasser. 7€ für den Döner mit viel zu wenig Fleisch. Drauf angesprochen, was ich noch nie in meinem Leben machen musste, aber hier schon da es echt ein Witz war erwiderte der Chef ich hab keine Ahnung von Fleisch und soll nicht mehr wiederkommen. Billiges Industriehackfleisch. Peinliches Benehmen mit Kritik umzugehen. Ps: nicht von den guten Bewertungen blenden lassen der Laden lässt schlechte Bewertungen löschen. Diese musste ich auch schon mehrfach posten.

Sehr sehr leckerer Döner, frisches Gemüse, große Auswahl an gut abgestimmten Saucen und freundliche Leute hinter der Theke. Außerdem gibt es hier sogar Carolina Reaper Sauce und Pulver, für die, die es angenehm scharf mögen. Das Lokal macht auch einen sehr sauberen und ordentlichen Eindruck. Verdient safe mindestens 5 Sterne 👍👍👍

Beste Döner der ich gegessen habe

Heute das erste Mal vor Ort gewesen und ich muss sagen, dass es tatsächlich der beste Döner war, den ich bis jetzt gegessen habe. Das Fleisch ist unfassbar lecker. Sehr mager, trotzdem saftig. Selbst ohne Soße ein absoluter Genuß. Ich kann Döner Genuss nur empfehlen.

Die arbeiter sehr nett und döner wirklich köstlich. Komme immer wieder gerne züruck.

Der Döner war groß und das Fleisch war sehr lecker. Das Brot ist knusprig und der Salat wie alles andere sehr frisch. Die Bedienung ist super freundlich. Ein sehr moderner und sauberer Laden. Fazit: Ein super Döner für einen fairen Preis. Wenige haben so eine hohe Qualität für den Preis.

Heute zum ersten Mal dort gegessen. Ich habe absolut nichts zu beanstanden. Sehr leckeres saftiges und würziges Fleisch. Portion meiner Meinung nach genau ausreichend.

Grade ebend einen normalen Döner und ein Dürüm Döner gekauft, beide prall gefüllt und super lecker! Also der Dürüm ist mit Abstand der beste aus Essen. Zudem ist das Personal super freundlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder! :-)

Vorher die vielen Wald und Wiesen Dönerläden abgeklappert.War immer okay in Altenessen oder Katernberg, aber seitdem ich hier zum ersten Mal einen Döner gegessen habe,hole ich nirgend woanders mehr einen Döner.Tolles Fleisch,frischer und knackiger Salat,tolle Soßen,super freundlich. Ein krasser Unterschied zu anderen Läden im Umfeld.Was mir auch sehr gefällt ,man findet immer nen Parkplatz.Mehr als empfehlenswert. Weiter so,ich bin Stammkunde.

Definitiv der beste Döner den ich jemals gegessen habe. Das Fleisch hat eine super Qualität und ist super saftig und reich an Geschmack. Der Salat ist immer frisch und lecker und die Saucen selbstgemacht bzw. selbst nachgewürzt. Sehr zu Empfehlen!
