It looks really delicious in the pictures, but unfortunately, there's way too much cheese in it. As you can see in the picture, it's all falling out of the dough. Anyone who's ever eaten this knows what I'm talking about. Honestly, when I saw it, I couldn't eat another bite. It looked like someone had thrown up. I'm honestly afraid I've been poisoned. 🤢

If you want to try a different kind of doner kebab, you have to visit this place. Highly recommended.

I really enjoyed the kebab, and the salad and sauce were all great.

The portions are very large so you stay full for a long time. The food was very tasty and the shop is visually very appealing. The only negative point that I don't rate so much is that it was a bit dark.

Doner specialties interpreted in a different way, as a classic flatbread in a very crispy sesame flatbread, as a burger. Falaffel bag, fries with Joopiesauce (cheese sauce). Very modern furnishings and everything was very neat and clean. Terrace available.

This was our first time ordering from Dönaland. The food is excellent, the portions are super-sized. It's incomparable to other kebab shops. It's absolutely delicious, ready very quickly, and we didn't have to wait long. I highly recommend the shop.

Burger and Döna with a difference, just like the name. We have been to DönaLadN several times now and have never been disappointed. The taste of the meat is very good but not overly seasoned. Always freshly prepared. The smashed 🍔 burgers are just as awesome. Soft rolls, roasted aromas, very good. You can also sit there very well. If it's not rush hour, you can get your food and drink quickly Place. The homemade cheese sauce is also recommended. And the owner always has a few nice words.👍🏻👍🏻 All in all great. Update March 2025: The interior of the store has now been updated. This makes it a little brighter and cozier. The kebab burger is also recommended if you fancy a kebab in combination with a burger 😉. Quality exactly like the first review. The currywurst is probably not for every taste, as it is not a classic grilled sausage.

Delivery time was quick, but the supplier was unbelievable! Yelled at me because I only had a small amount of €1.40 and said that I should put the money somewhere else and “what should I do with it?” Ingrateful. Even though I added a tip!! Make sure your employees behave appropriately. I'd rather go to Mülheim Editing: I didn't try to pay in 1-2 cent chunks, nor was the meal "smilingly" charged at €20! There is no reason to yell at a customer at the front door! The main thing is to claim that the delivery person didn't have time to count but still denied that I gave a tip. By the way, during a phone call with an employee, I was discussed rudely and I was forced to delete this review instead of perhaps making a better impression this time. Simply unprofessional behavior!

Here you get a slightly different kebab 😉 I became aware of the store through TikTok and wanted to try the Dönadelphia. The cheese was just too powerful for my standards, but as we all know, that's a matter of taste. Unfortunately, this also means that the pure meat taste is lost, which is why I would prefer the kebab plate. The portion size here was really enormous. Service was super friendly!

So the ambience fits the store and the style perfectly. Then we come to the food, how can so many different menus be so good so the food gets an 11/10. And now for the highlight, what we are all looking for. Perfect service. The shop owner was bothered by the fact that my burger with cheese got cold and made it for me again on the grill with a good portion of cheese, so the food surpassed everything but with service that To top it again just top class for service a 13/10. It's time for a re-rate after 3 years. The quality is always the best and you rarely see something like that in the catering sector. Price-quality ratio is optimal. Everything is just "perfect" at Dönaladn, with the only problem being that it sets expectations so high that you can't like any other kebab anywhere else 😉

Just disgusting! Everything on site has always been clean and tasted ok. I ordered for the first time yesterday and received really limp wet fries with a hair inside, very disgusting. The DÖNER Delphia wasn't like it was there, but was simply soggy, inedible and stuffed full. Never again !!!! Use a hairnet!!!

Terrible experience – never again! I have been a loyal customer at Dönaladn and have regularly ordered or eaten on site. But after my last order - a Dönnadelphia - I will never buy anything there again. The drama began last night: inhumane stomach pains set in, and the night was an absolute nightmare with incessant vomiting and diarrhea. The diagnosis is clear: food poisoning. This experience was so bad that I can no longer recommend anyone to order or eat from Dönaladn. I don't understand how something like this could have happened and I strongly advise against this store!

The service and ambience are really good, there's nothing to complain about. Unfortunately, the famous “Dönadelphia” is not at all convincing in terms of taste. The cheese has an unusual taste, the meat is way too salty, and the amount of sauce is so excessive that the whole kebab is practically swimming in it. The fries, on the other hand, are delicious and definitely recommended.

I visited this kebab shop for the first time about 8 months ago and had a good experience back then. Unfortunately, during my last visit I noticed that the condition of the store had deteriorated significantly. The floor was dirty and sticky, with leftover kebabs, corn, and other food lying around... even though the place wasn't even particularly crowded. It just wasn't cleaned. The tables were only wiped with a dry handkerchief, which didn't really remove the stains. The trash can area looked just as unkempt... I don't even want to go into it. There are enough employees in the store who, in my opinion, could also clean things up. After all, your eyes eat too! The young gentleman at the counter was very friendly and made me a good offer, but unfortunately that couldn't save the overall experience. I found it particularly worrying that the black gloves with which the bread was topped were also "cleaned". This is an absolute no-go when it comes to hygiene. As a customer you see things like this and it's really a shame to see that the store has slacked off like this. To make matters worse, I got severe stomach cramps after eating and obviously couldn't tolerate it. Went there for the first time with friends who suggested the store. It was extremely tasty for a birthday meal, the Siegbert Schnösel burger is lousy, try it out. The atmosphere is chilled out and the guys behind the counters are extremely polite.

I'm a little sorry to leave this review here because the guys behind the counter were super nice and the store is really nice. The boys recommended a sandwich menu (€15) to us. The fries and sauce were very tasty. What I didn't like was the meat. It was prepared with cheese and onions and didn't suit my taste. Next time I would just take a classic kebab with salad, zatziki and sheep's cheese. Unfortunately, our table was also dirty.

All this despite having waited 40 minutes. Employees are no more friendly either. You're asking 17€ for something like that.

Nice shop. You can sit inside and outside. The employees are very nice and always have a smile on their faces. A different kind of kebab for young and old. The Delphia is highly recommended, the child particularly enjoyed the nuggets. We'd love to come back. Price performance suits me.

It was my last visit with you! I have eaten at Dönaladn many times and I have always been satisfied. The portions were good and it was tasty. (Initial phase) Now the quality is no longer the best. The kebab delphia was still tasty, but the hair that came with it wasn't. (A hair can happen sometimes... If not, but with this amount of hair, you should use a hair net) The portions of fries were a joke, a pure rip-off. Other regular customers have already told me that it is no longer worth eating there. The service is OK

We spontaneously drove to Essen Dellwig on a Sunday evening and only knew Dönaladn from YouTube and TikTok. There was some free parking on site. We were warmly welcomed and shown the menu well. I followed the house's recommendation for menu 2 and my girlfriend took the Döna plate. Our table was freshly cleaned and the food was ready in minutes. For my friend it was the best kebab meat she has ever eaten. Salad was very fresh and tasty. I was particularly impressed by the choice of sauces and being able to dip your Döna into the sauces was a real treat! I will gladly come again. Points are deducted for “pure cash payment” and the toilets could use a little more love.

Gemütlicher Imbiss mit interessanten Kreationen Ich habe kürzlich das Restaurant "Dönaldn" in Essen besucht und möchte meine Erfahrung teilen. Die Atmosphäre war äußerst gemütlich, und das Personal war ausgesprochen nett. Der Service hat mir einen positiven Eindruck hinterlassen. Das Menü überraschte mich mit ausgefallenen Kreationen, und meine Wahl fiel auf den "Dönerdelphia". Geschmacklich war es eine interessante Erfahrung, wenngleich ich persönlich nicht extra für dieses Gericht wiederkehren würde. Der gastronomische Charakter des Ladens erinnerte eher an einen Imbiss als an ein Restaurant. Insgesamt war der Besuch bei "Dönaldn" angenehm, besonders wenn man in der Nähe wohnt. Die gemütliche Atmosphäre und der freundliche Service trugen zu einem gelungenen Erlebnis bei, auch wenn der Dönerdelphia nicht zu meinen persönlichen Favoriten zählt.

Super leckerer Döner Teller. Fleisch sehr gut im Geschmack die Portion ist gut und man wird satt. Die Pommes geschmacklich ganz gut . Die kombi ist perfekt und preislich kann man auch nix sagen. Der Service Top sehr Freundlich und gehen auf extra Wünsche ein. Machen einen soliden guten Job die 2 Jungs danke nochmals .komme auf jedenfall wieder. Eins der leckersten Dönerläden in Essen. Kann es nur wirklich empfehlen. Das Essen wird auch für das Auge sehr schön zubereitet. Zudem schmeckt es wirklich so gut, wie es aussieht. Das Fleisch und die Saucen sind Top. Salat ist immer frisch. Außerdem ist das Personal sehr freundlich und lässt sich auf Kundenwünsche ein. Deshalb eine sehr positive Bewertung. Ich bin äußerst überzeugt.
