Alles top und auch super leckeres Essen. Nur ein Stern Abzug weil die Platte für drei Personen eher nur für zwei passend gewesen wäre.

Wir haben innerhalb eines Monats zweimal für Familienfeiern mit jeweils rund ca. 20 Personen bei Don Mateo Essen bestellt und waren beide Male absolut begeistert. Das Essen war frisch, sehr lecker und qualitativ wirklich top. Auch unsere Gäste waren durchweg zufrieden und haben das Essen mehrfach gelobt. Besonders positiv fanden wir, dass trotz der größeren Bestellung alles pünktlich, vollständig und in bester Qualität vorbereitet war. Die Portionen waren großzügig und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt ebenfalls. Wir können Don Mateo uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und werden bei der nächsten Feier auf jeden Fall wieder dort bestellen. Ich wollte nur was essen gehen. Dachte an ne gute Pizza oder so. Aber nein. Ich mach die Karte auf und seh lauter leckere Speisen. Ich hatte das Bruschetta und als Hauptgang Leber. Beides super! Ich komm auf jeden Fall nochmal für den Fisch Teil der Karte!

Wir waren am Samstag nach der Kommunion unserer Tochter im Don Mateo essen und möchten uns von Herzen für diesen wunderschönen Tag bedanken. Das Essen war einfach hervorragend – so lecker, dass ich tatsächlich vergessen habe, Fotos zu machen :) Alles war frisch, geschmackvoll und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Die Portionen waren mehr als ausreichend und es war wirklich für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Besonders schön fanden wir, dass sogar die Kinder mit Begeisterung gegessen haben, was sonst nicht selbstverständlich ist. Auch das Ambiente hat uns sehr gefallen: stilvoll, gemütlich und perfekt für eine Familienfeier. Der Service war ebenfalls top – alle Mitarbeiter waren unglaublich freundlich, aufmerksam und dabei trotzdem sehr schnell und professionell. Man hat sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen und gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Ein ganz besonderes Dankeschön geht an Boris und das gesamte Team für die tolle Organisation und den reibungslosen Ablauf unserer Feier. Ihr habt dazu beigetragen, dass dieser besondere Tag für unsere Familie unvergesslich bleibt. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall sehr gerne wieder und können Don Mateo von Herzen weiterempfehlen!

Wir haben im Don Mateo mittlerweile viele wunderschöne Abende verbracht – sowohl als Gäste auf verschiedenen Feiern als auch bei der Kommunion unserer Zwillinge, die wir dort selbst ausrichten durften. Dadurch kennen wir inzwischen alle Bereiche des Restaurants und können wirklich sagen: Jeder Raum hat seinen ganz eigenen Charme. Der Gewölbekeller beeindruckt mit seiner besonderen, gemütlichen Atmosphäre und eignet sich perfekt für stimmungsvolle Feiern. Auch der Raum auf der rechten Seite hat ein tolles Ambiente und lädt zum entspannten Zusammensitzen ein. Die Kommunion unserer Kinder haben wir im linken Raum gefeiert – liebevoll vorbereitet, stilvoll dekoriert (wir durften am Vorabend selbst dekorieren und sogar eine Fotowand aufbauen) und einfach perfekt für einen so besonderen Anlass. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die durchgehend hervorragende Küche. Die Gerichte sind nicht nur geschmacklich erstklassig, sondern auch kreativ und hochwertig zubereitet. Man merkt sofort, dass hier viel Wert auf Qualität und Details gelegt wird. Unsere Gäste waren ausnahmslos begeistert. Ebenso beeindruckend ist die Gastfreundschaft des gesamten Teams. Freundlich, aufmerksam und professionell – man fühlt sich jederzeit willkommen und bestens betreut. Gerade bei größeren Feiern ist das Gold wert. Für uns ist das Don Mateo inzwischen eine feste Adresse für besondere Momente geworden. Seit Jahren eine sehr gute Adresse in Fellbach, um fein zu essen — ohne übersteigerte Preise. Die auf den Punkt gebratene Kalbsleber mit Rosmarinkartoffeln ist mein Favorit, dazu einen kleinen Salat, aber auch die Fischgerichte sind ausgezeichnet. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und spendabel, das Ambiente großzügig und auch für größere Gesellschaften geeignet. Rundherum ein feines Lokal!

War das erste mal da und war total überrascht. Super Ambiente, leckeres Essen und super nette Bedinungen. War bestimmt nicht das erste und letzte mal da!

Was das Fleisch zu wenig Hitze bekommen hat hat der Fisch leider zu viel bekommen. Der Nachtisch hötze 5 Sterne verdient.

Sehr zuvorkommender Service und fein abgeschmeckte Gerichte.

Es ist gemütlich und lecker – was will man mehr? Das Brot ist fantastisch, wirklich sehr schmackhaft. Die Portionen sind riesig, also bestellt vorsichtig, sonst schafft ihr es vielleicht nicht. Der Kellner ist freundlich. Ich kann es empfehlen. Allerdings gibt es ein paar Kritikpunkte: 1. Messer und Gabel liegen einfach so auf dem Tisch, was mich stört, weil ich mich frage, ob der Tisch überhaupt sauber ist. Sie hätten sie wenigstens auf eine Serviette legen können. 2. Das Steak war überhaupt nicht salzig, daher wäre Salz auf dem Tisch schön gewesen. 3. Aus irgendeinem Grund gab es keine Papierservietten, und wir mussten danach betteln, was seltsam ist – das Essen ist fettig, und ich weiß nicht, womit ich mir den Mund abwischen soll.

Freundlich, Zuvorkommend kein langes Warten auf die Speisen, sehr lecker sehr zu Empfehlen für Touristen, wer in Stuttgart ist sollte hier unbedingt zu Abendessen. Ambiente hervorragend einfach nur spitzen klasse gewesen.

Könnte man 10 Sterne vergeben,würden wir es tun... wir haben heute dieses kroatische Restaurant kennengelernt und müssen sagen, das war top. Toller, freundlicher und kompetenter Service. Total nett und zuvorkommend. Man bestellt eine Flasche Wasser und bekommt diese geöffnet und eingeschenkt. Wo gibt es das heute noch? Das Essen durchweg toll angerchtet und allen hat es wirklich sehr gut geschmeckt. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Bei einer Weihnachtsfeier konnte ich die Vorspeisenplatte probieren. Alleine das Brot mit Parmesan und Gemüse, ein Gedicht! Allein dafür würde ich wieder kommen.

Ich möchte auch fünf Sterne geben, flotte und freundliche Bedienung, leckeres Essen, Kompliment an die Küche, gibt's nichts zu beschweren. Bis zum nächsten Mal.

Wer originelles Balkanessen kennt und mag (z.B. original Ćevapčići wie direkt auf dem Balkan), sowie Wert auf gutes Fleisch und Meeresfrüchte legt, ist hier sehr richtig! Wir waren auf Empfehlung da und können das Restaurant, Essen + Service absolut weiterempfehlen. Habe lange nach einem guten Balkanrestaurat im Großraum Stuttgart gesucht und bin nun fündig geworden!

A culinary highlight in Fellbach – Don Mateo is a delight! We were at Don Mateo in Fellbach yesterday – and what can I say? It was simply fantastic! The moment you enter the restaurant, you sense the Mediterranean flair and warm atmosphere. The service was attentive, friendly, and very professional from the very beginning – you immediately feel welcome. The grill platter was an absolute dream: perfectly grilled meat, incredibly juicy, wonderfully seasoned – every single component was a delight. The delicious side dishes rounded off the whole experience perfectly. To go with it, we enjoyed a perfectly chilled Lugana wine – fruity, fresh, and perfectly matched to the meal. A wonderful combination that we won't soon forget! Don Mateo is definitely more than just a restaurant – it's a place to relax, enjoy, and return. Anyone who appreciates good food, great wines, and a relaxed atmosphere should definitely reserve a table here! A clear recommendation – we'll definitely be back!

Highly recommended. A warm welcome and delicious food. We spontaneously dropped in on a Friday evening without a reservation. We managed to get a seat on the terrace. The food was excellent: I had the Bella Vegetariana, a kind of calzone/pasta parcel with grilled vegetables, cheese, and cream inside. It was incredibly delicious and highly recommended. My companion had the pasta carbonara, which was also very good. The prices are absolutely reasonable in comparison. Payment is accepted by card, including Visa debit cards.

Everything was excellent. We came here on a recommendation, and we were not disappointed. There's a lot of seafood and Balkan dishes. We'll be back.

Knife, fork, Cannstatter Boys: Our regulars' table tests the city! Hello everyone! A year ago, we, a group of ten friends from Cannstatt, started a somewhat unconventional regulars' table: Instead of always meeting in the same place, we move from restaurant to restaurant. What started as casual fun has now developed into a bit of hype. We test a wide variety of restaurants and rate them according to four criteria: food, service, value for money and ambience. Since Google Maps only allows whole stars, I always round our averages up or down. This restaurant is currently in our first place! If you're curious about which restaurants we've already reviewed, just look at the heading - it always stays the same when it comes to our regulars' table reviews. Since our group usually consists of seven to ten very different personalities, I think that our ratings represent a good average. Overall rating: 4.18 out of 5 The quality of the food was excellent and the presentation was very attractive. We found the atmosphere pleasant, clean and stylish. The service was also very friendly and quite quick. A small suggestion for improvement would be to ask between the starter and main course whether the main course can be served, especially since one person took a little more time with the starter. However, we could have addressed this ourselves. Overall, the price-performance ratio was good, even if some of us found the starter plate at €14.90 to be a bit too small.

We've been to the restaurant several times, but certainly not anymore. The food tasted and looked very good. The service at the table was very friendly, as long as there were no complaints. We were asked if we were satisfied and then said that the pasta dishes would not be made instead. Especially Pasta Italia, there just wasn't enough pasta. Then the restaurant manager came and told us bluntly that you couldn't expect to be full from a portion of pasta for just under 16 euros. Would we know how much burrata costs? We found it very cheeky and the tone was in no way appropriate. The lady who complained about this ordered an espresso and a dessert. At least there you could have had the espresso on the house. The lesson we learn from this is that this restaurant will no longer see our ladies' regulars' table.

A perfect combination of delicious delicacies, professional service and an exceptionally pleasant atmosphere. An ideal place to enjoy with all your senses.

Delicious food, a varied menu, everyone will find a dish to their taste. Portions are large, even very large, so I can advise on an empty stomach)) For some reason, the atmosphere of a holiday is felt, even if it is a simple dinner. Attentive and smiling waiters, beautiful interior. A lot of space, which is a rare phenomenon for food establishments in Germany. The price/quality ratio is quite satisfactory. I will certainly be happy to visit this establishment when I have the opportunity and recommend it to everyone who wants to eat deliciously in a calm atmosphere with a good mood. We were staying at the Best Western in Felbach on a Wednesday night, there were a few restaurants closed on a Wednesday and another which was being refurbished (Schiller) + another that had possibly recently closed down. We were happy to find Don Mateo open and had a great meal with excellence service. Asparagis Soup and Steak Salad with Weiss Beer. We will be back again when next time in Felbach.

The ambience of the restaurant is really first class and there is a pleasant atmosphere. The staff was extremely courteous and friendly. Another plus point was the price-performance ratio. Overall, I had a wonderful experience at the restaurant. Thank you.
