A culinary highlight in Fellbach – Don Mateo is a delight! We were at Don Mateo in Fellbach yesterday – and what can I say? It was simply fantastic! The moment you enter the restaurant, you sense the Mediterranean flair and warm atmosphere. The service was attentive, friendly, and very professional from the very beginning – you immediately feel welcome. The grill platter was an absolute dream: perfectly grilled meat, incredibly juicy, wonderfully seasoned – every single component was a delight. The delicious side dishes rounded off the whole experience perfectly. To go with it, we enjoyed a perfectly chilled Lugana wine – fruity, fresh, and perfectly matched to the meal. A wonderful combination that we won't soon forget! Don Mateo is definitely more than just a restaurant – it's a place to relax, enjoy, and return. Anyone who appreciates good food, great wines, and a relaxed atmosphere should definitely reserve a table here! A clear recommendation – we'll definitely be back!

Highly recommended. A warm welcome and delicious food. We spontaneously dropped in on a Friday evening without a reservation. We managed to get a seat on the terrace. The food was excellent: I had the Bella Vegetariana, a kind of calzone/pasta parcel with grilled vegetables, cheese, and cream inside. It was incredibly delicious and highly recommended. My companion had the pasta carbonara, which was also very good. The prices are absolutely reasonable in comparison. Payment is accepted by card, including Visa debit cards.

Everything was excellent. We came here on a recommendation, and we were not disappointed. There's a lot of seafood and Balkan dishes. We'll be back.

Knife, fork, Cannstatter Boys: Our regulars' table tests the city! Hello everyone! A year ago, we, a group of ten friends from Cannstatt, started a somewhat unconventional regulars' table: Instead of always meeting in the same place, we move from restaurant to restaurant. What started as casual fun has now developed into a bit of hype. We test a wide variety of restaurants and rate them according to four criteria: food, service, value for money and ambience. Since Google Maps only allows whole stars, I always round our averages up or down. This restaurant is currently in our first place! If you're curious about which restaurants we've already reviewed, just look at the heading - it always stays the same when it comes to our regulars' table reviews. Since our group usually consists of seven to ten very different personalities, I think that our ratings represent a good average. Overall rating: 4.18 out of 5 The quality of the food was excellent and the presentation was very attractive. We found the atmosphere pleasant, clean and stylish. The service was also very friendly and quite quick. A small suggestion for improvement would be to ask between the starter and main course whether the main course can be served, especially since one person took a little more time with the starter. However, we could have addressed this ourselves. Overall, the price-performance ratio was good, even if some of us found the starter plate at €14.90 to be a bit too small.

We've been to the restaurant several times, but certainly not anymore. The food tasted and looked very good. The service at the table was very friendly, as long as there were no complaints. We were asked if we were satisfied and then said that the pasta dishes would not be made instead. Especially Pasta Italia, there just wasn't enough pasta. Then the restaurant manager came and told us bluntly that you couldn't expect to be full from a portion of pasta for just under 16 euros. Would we know how much burrata costs? We found it very cheeky and the tone was in no way appropriate. The lady who complained about this ordered an espresso and a dessert. At least there you could have had the espresso on the house. The lesson we learn from this is that this restaurant will no longer see our ladies' regulars' table.

A perfect combination of delicious delicacies, professional service and an exceptionally pleasant atmosphere. An ideal place to enjoy with all your senses.

Delicious food, a varied menu, everyone will find a dish to their taste. Portions are large, even very large, so I can advise on an empty stomach)) For some reason, the atmosphere of a holiday is felt, even if it is a simple dinner. Attentive and smiling waiters, beautiful interior. A lot of space, which is a rare phenomenon for food establishments in Germany. The price/quality ratio is quite satisfactory. I will certainly be happy to visit this establishment when I have the opportunity and recommend it to everyone who wants to eat deliciously in a calm atmosphere with a good mood. We were staying at the Best Western in Felbach on a Wednesday night, there were a few restaurants closed on a Wednesday and another which was being refurbished (Schiller) + another that had possibly recently closed down. We were happy to find Don Mateo open and had a great meal with excellence service. Asparagis Soup and Steak Salad with Weiss Beer. We will be back again when next time in Felbach.

Pleasant atmosphere & very friendly staff. The greeting from the kitchen was surprising and very tasty. As a starter we had bruschetta on polanta. As a main course a burger with rosemary potatoes and a grill plate. On the grill there was veal liver, bacon-wrapped chicken fillet, Ćevapčići, chicken meatball and a beef steak. The portions were plentiful and tasted perfect. This is a great way to start a vacation 😊.

Wir waren zum 1. Mal dort, wir waren eingeladen und waren sehr zufrieden. Das Essen war super, sehr leckere Vorspeisenplatte und anschließend gab es Spanferkel. Ich hab noch nie ein Spanferkel gegessen das so lecker war. Die Schwarte super knusprig und das Fleisch wahnsinns zart. War echt Klasse, wir kommen gerne wieder.

Für meine Bestellung kann ja niemand etwas, außer mir, aber von der Bruscetta als Vorspeise habe ich mir halt mehr versprochen. Ich mag den Gegensatz von knusprigem Brot und der fruchtigen Tomate. Hier war es eine eher labberige Polenta. Dafür war die Hauptspeise der Burner: auf den Punkt gegrillte verschiedene Fleischsorten. Mit Grillgemüse. Halt mediterran. Das anschließende Schokoladen Soufflé zum dahinschmelzen. Im Biergarten gesessen. Schöne Abendstimmung.
