Wir hatten das Gorgonzolaschnitzel im Mittagsmenue. Toller Geschmack, nicht zu streng und nicht zu lebsch. Der neue Biergarten ist schön schattig. Etwas unwegsam , aber es lohnt sich. Und der Service ist klasse. Auch hatten wir schon mehrfach Pizza im Lieferservice. Toller Geschmack und mal etwas anderer Belag. Macht weiter so. Wir kommen wieder!

Wir waren zum 80ten Geburtstag meiner Mutter dort. Wir saßen sehr schön auch wenn der ausenbereich 30-50cm mehr haben könnte. Der Gang zur Toilette ist auf einer Seite außen etwas schwierig. Man sitzt aber ruhig und gemütlich. Das Essen war sehr lecker und das Personal wirklich sehr 🩵 Lich. Würde auf jeden Fall wieder hin gehen. Preise sind sehr human. Sie bieten auch Essen to go an und fahren auch aus.

Sehr leckere Speisen. Hier kann man zur sehr guten gewöhnliche Küche wie Steak, Pizza, Rumpsteak usw. insbesondere mit indischen Spezialitäten mal etwas Abwechslung auf den Teller bringen. Wir waren gestern Abend mit 6 Personen bei Don Lillo essen. Wir gehen schon seit Jahren in dieses Restaurant essen. Früher bei dem Vorgänger der Pizzeria und jetzt zu dem neuen Besitzer. Wir lieben dieses Restaurant, Preis Leistung super. Gute Küche und freundliches Personal und ein super freundlicher Chef 🤗👍🙋‍♀️

Liebe, liebe, liebe es hier!! Das Essen ist super lecker, preiswert (für die Qualität enorm!!) und der Service ist super. Sonderwünsche sind kein Problem, der Inhaber Garry ist immer unfassbar freundlich und zuvorkommend. Haben auch schon bestellt und das Essen war schnell, super lecker, warm da. Also das indische Essen ist phänomenal, aber auch das „Klassische“ und Italienische super lecker. Bitte unbedingt hingehen!

Das Restaurant liegt etwas abseits in einem Wohngebiet. Die Begrüßung war sehr freundlich das Essen gut reichlich. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis passt. Von mir eine Empfehlung.

Schon lange nicht mehr so schlecht gegessen ein Pfund Fleisch auf dem Teller weniger ist mehr, dafür bessere Qualität. . Bedienung sehr freundlich, dass wars. werde ich wohl nie wieder besuchen.

Schlechtester Pizzafahrer überhaupt. 1. parkt er einfach "Quer" auf der Hauptstraße. Dann hab ich gesehen dass er zu meiner Haustür geht. Hab vom Fenster gerufen dass er falsch ist. Keine Rekation. Dann klingelt er. Ich wieder gerufen dass er falsch ist... keine Reaktion.. stattdessen aggressives Hämmern gegen meine Haustür und Scheibe... ich wieder gesagt er is falsch und muss nebenan... dann ist er kommentarlos weggegangen und in einem Affenzahn bei Schnee von der Hauptstraße weggerast... solch ein Benehmen und Verhalten wirft kein Gutes Bild... Autofahren und Parken offensichtlich auch Fehlanzeige....

Alles mit frischen Zutaten zubereitet.Schmeckt hervorragend!!!🤌 Die Lieferung war auch pünktlich. Preis/Leistung passt ebenfalls. Sehr empfelenswert!!!😀 Gerne wieder🙂

Wir waren zu 5 essen, indisch, Salat, Nudelpfanne, Pifferlingpfanne- alles schmackhaft, reichlich. Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

Die Pizza schmeckte wie Tiefkühlware und war dick. Ich fand ein schwarzes Haar darauf. Ich rate dringend davon ab, dort hinzugehen. Nach dem Essen war mir übel.

We went to Don Lillo last Saturday with six people. Both the pizzas and the rump steaks were excellent and at a more than fair price. Nice atmosphere and an extremely personable, friendly host. We felt very comfortable and will definitely be back soon. Highly recommended!

Ordered an XXL BBQ burger via delivery service. Fast delivery, delicious! This certainly won't be our last order!

Large room with lots of space, also a nice balcony. 2nd room on the ground floor. We had breakfast after 2 days. We bought something in the supermarket 3 minutes away, otherwise as most people have described it. The shower really isn't room service, very satisfied.

A very friendly chef. We ordered and picked up Indian food there for the first time a few days ago. It was ready very quickly and we loved it. We'll definitely go back and enjoy the atmosphere there. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Always satisfied so far. Yesterday's spaghetti aglio et olio was a disappointment, however. It tasted very strongly of granulated broth, the garlic was barely noticeable, and the cherry tomatoes advertised on the menu were missing. The pizza was good as always, but I ordered a regular size and it was delivered in a large size, and they charged accordingly, which was a bit annoying. Delivery was prompt.

I have to say it's a shame that it's a bit far from my house, but even so, when I really feel like it, it's worth it because I know where to eat. It's very nice, and the food tastes really good. This Indian style is fantastic and very clean, above all.

1) The menus were covered in grease stains and greasy fingerprints... 2) The salami was so salty... sorry, but it was 99% some cheap Aldi salami from a packet... 3) Ordered a pizza with a fried egg. What do they do? They fry the egg in a pan and slap it on the pizza... 4) Don't you have money for new or whole chairs?! At least throw away the junk when it's broken! 5) Have you ever heard of cleaning the toilet? It smelled strongly of bleach in there... Well, once and never again.

Two of us were there yesterday, having made a reservation. The waiter was courteous and friendly, the chef was very personable, and the outside atmosphere was cozy. The food came quickly and was exceptionally tasty. I had an Indian dish. It was a tasty meal and a unique birthday meal. We'd love to come back. 😊👌

My family went there for a birthday dinner during the week. The food was truly fantastic, with generous portions. If you can't finish it all, you can take it with you and don't have to cook the next day. The service was excellent, the staff were super friendly, and everything went very quickly. We'd love to come back.

The food was excellent. I had the rump steak with porcini mushrooms, which was truly delicious and perfectly prepared. Fresh ingredients and perfect seasoning rounded off the flavor. We were particularly impressed by the service: The waitress was incredibly friendly, attentive, and quick. She came to our table promptly to take our drinks and was always courteous and helpful throughout the evening. Overall, we had a great time in a pleasant atmosphere. Don Lilo offers a successful blend of delicious food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere. We would be happy to return and highly recommend Don Lilo!

We ordered really disgusting pizzas and got them. The bruschetta was with cheese even though it wasn't mentioned in the allergens and they were also soggy like the pizza and didn't even taste good.

There is a beer garden but of course also places inside. The service is quick and friendly, the boss is friendly and accommodating. The food is tasty, the portions are generous and the price is reasonable. And: Finally a restaurant with clean cloth tablecloths and cloth napkins again

2nd update 2025: Lilo's (unfortunately deceased) restaurant was thriving taken over by Gerry. He also serves Italian and Indian cuisine. His pizzas are really good, thin and crispy, really tasty. I haven't tried the Indian cuisine yet and can't say anything about it. A small point of criticism or comment: If you write "pasta" on the card, then the customer's request should be taken into account when ordering, tagliatelle are not spaghetti! and Spaghetti aglio e olio, in German "spaghetti with garlic and oil", is a simple but popular pasta dish in Italian cuisine. It consists mainly of spaghetti, garlic, olive oil and often some chili. If you change this and it has virtually nothing to do with the origin, then you should write it that way on the card 🤷 otherwise the guests will be disappointed 😒 Gerry is a very nice and friendly host. Whether as a pick-up person or a guest in the restaurant, you feel comfortable and will be happy to come back. I wish him and his team much success and continued joy as hosts.

Went to Don Lillo's for the first time today with my wife....since we both like Indian food we wanted to eat there....we were greeted very nicely and friendly by the waiter....as a starter I had fish pakoras (cod fillet in a spicy chickpea batter coating) which was a dream....my wife had mango chicken for the main course (it was buttery tender) and I had lamb makhani (a bit spicy) which was really good....the boss was even good came to our table and asked if everything was OK...I think that was very nice...a family atmosphere in the restaurant...we'll be back...

We ate at Don Lillo for the first time today (due to the good reviews). It's a bit hidden but the journey is worth it! It is a small and very cozy restaurant where you just feel good. Without exception, all employees are very friendly and accommodating. We felt so warmly welcomed that we stayed seated for a long time and chatted with the owner for a while. He really is a host with heart and soul: no wish is too much, always in a good mood, with a smile on his face and always attentive so that his guests don't miss anything. The food was really delicious, the service was great, and the price-performance ratio was unbeatable. A true treasure in the heart of Saarland. ❤️ We look forward to our next visit and will definitely recommend you. Thank you for the lovely evening!

In short: a wonderful treat in a beautiful, family atmosphere. You will be looked after in a very pleasant and courteous manner. Individual requests are addressed without further ado, with more than fair prices. At the same time, you never have the feeling that this would be an additional burden. The food itself was excellent in terms of taste, with a filling portion. It definitely won't be my last visit and I can recommend it without hesitation.

Small but fine restaurant, unfortunately it is very hidden but it is worth the search and the visit. The food is really delicious, plentiful and reasonably priced. The service and the boss are very friendly and even warm. And if you haven't eaten the whole portion, you can pack the rest to take away if you want. The “Don Lillo” restaurant has been under new management for some time. We were here again for the first time and were very surprised. You can still park directly at the restaurant. The location is very quiet. The restaurant has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Nevertheless, a table reservation is advantageous. The staff including the boss is very friendly and helpful, the service is quick and the food was prepared and served relatively quickly. It was very tasty and reasonably priced. We'd love to come back!

They said on the phone that it would take another half an hour and that they would refund us 15 euros if we came to pick up the food; after all, the restaurant would be full and they didn't need delivery service anyway. It's crazy how you can treat customers like that. I'd rather order my food somewhere else where the customer is still king.

Very tasty food, especially the Indian dishes are highly recommended! The portions are quite generous and the price is absolutely ok! The atmosphere is nice and the beer garden is a fantastic place to sit! The service needs a little more routine but was very friendly and made an effort! All in all, highly recommended!

Were there yesterday evening. Food was ok, although there was too much useless stuff on the plate, e.g. With cream schnitzel with fries and salad, there were still grilled vegetables on the plate, but only a small handful of fries, far too little... Decoration was a tomato with a slice of mozzarella and balsamic vinegar...in my opinion it doesn't go together, it's only used to fill up the plate and to save on fries! Especially since there was a side salad! In terms of taste, the dishes - I had the chanterelle pan - were not suitable for repeating, unfortunately! Not seasoned enough, the breading of the schnitzel and croquettes was too thick and was already flaking off! Service should be trained urgently: - There were two of us and we were waiting for two more people, but the waitress still wanted to push us to choose the food - Choose clothing accordingly, no pants that consist more of holes than fabric - although friendly, but intrusive, it was cleared away even though we were still eating... - We felt like we were being watched because the waitress stood right next to the table (ready to clear away) and basically watched us and listened to conversations - After I kindly pointed out that we wanted to eat comfortably and not immediately clear the plate after putting down the cutlery, the waitress's enthusiasm calmed down a bit. - The waitress said we should keep the used cutlery, even though we left it on the plate when we cleared it (there were two different dishes), but I insisted on new ones and got them. Invoice: - The waitress put a pack of handwritten notes on the table and said happily that she had already prepared them! We were neither given the slip of paper in front of us nor presented with a proper invoice with VAT shown, but only given the price. Everything was scribbled together on a piece of paper, which she then quickly took with her! It wouldn't happen to us again, but that was the last time we were there! Conclusion: All in all, not worth repeating, unfortunately! We loved the old owner and were regulars there! Unfortunately, the old days are over!

My husband and I had a great meal here. One Indian cuisine and one Italian cuisine. Both meals were really great. The service is great... no booze, just really good ones. The price-performance ratio is unbeatable. We like to come back more often

Its a very nice and calming place with the best food you'll ever try great service and everywhere you'll see happy smiles definitely recommend.

We were at Don Lillo on May 1st at 6:30 p.m All the tables on the terrace were occupied, but there were no seats in the beer garden. The service had a lot to do, which didn't come at the expense of friendliness. The wait for food wasn't too long. There was no small greeting from the kitchen. We had pasta that tasted very good and the rigatoni arrabiata had lots of fresh vegetables. At the neighboring table, the pizzas hit the mark in terms of taste. The side salad I ordered separately couldn't quite keep up with the main courses. But I would still call it ok and take it again. For our coffee/cappuchino after the meal, we skimped on the beans and they weren't hot anymore, so they were more of a lukewarm drink that we can't recommend (hence 1 star deducted from the meal, even if they were drinks...) Our conclusion: Spent 2 lovely hours in Kirchhof and had a delicious meal, not everything was perfect but the price/performance ratio was right, plus a lovely ambience and friendly service - 4 good reasons to come back.

We were there a few weeks ago, new owners. The pizzas were okay, I got a casserole that was swimming in fat and couldn't eat it. I told the waitress that too and was then offered an espresso. We won't go there anymore. Not to be compared with Lillo's times.

New owners since March 2024. There are positive and not so positive things to report. Positive: Portion is big enough, you'll be full The food was ok. tasted. Prices are ok too. The employees are all very nice Needs improvement: There is useless decorative stuff on the plate that no one eats. It just serves to make the plate look fuller. Ends up going in the trash. Waste. Ordered sparkling water and got still water. Ordered Lambrusco (=sparkling wine) and received stale wine. The waitress argues with colleagues in front of our eyes. That's not right. We had a rum steak and a schnitzel parmigiana. I can't judge anything else. The food tasted good, but wasn't so good that I would go there again.

Essen war lecker, leider der Service lässt zu wünschen übrig, wir bekamen trotz Aufforderung einzeln zu bezahlen, Gesamtrechnung mit der Aussage,wir sollen die selber aufdröseln, für uns am Tisch Aufwand mehr.....noch nicht einmal ein Getränk aufs Haus extra.
