Dom Shibuya in Magdeburg

The order was not delivered despite payment (Uber Eats/Paypal). I sent it at 5:35 p.m. with a target time from Uber between 6:20 and 6:40 p.m. My follow-up around 7 p.m. revealed that the kitchen had not yet received the order. That alone and the lack of feedback with a hungry child at home is not okay. The evening is over (9:34 p.m.) and the food hasn't come, despite my phone reminder. Uber is not to blame for this as the restaurant delivers with its own drivers. I can definitely not recommend Dom Shibuya, at least for the delivery service. I have requested a refund of the amount paid via Uber. Save yourself the hassle and order somewhere else.

Ordered and paid for food at 7 p.m., 3 hours later still no food. My calls since 9 p.m. only get a busy signal or are pushed away. I'm sitting here waiting, hungry, and the shop is now closed. I don't know if the food tastes good, but I won't order here anymore.

Absolutely ridiculous delays. On an order above 50 euros, where they add extra delivery and service fee, my order hasnt come 3 hours later. The store hasnt been answering the phone for over 1hr for a prepaid order which I dont know if will come. I will never order from the store again and I hope they either close or consider being professionals. Not answering the phone for such a long time is ridiculous and unacceptable. Stay away from this place.

This restaurant really has it all! The food is super delicious, no question about it. And the ambience and location also has style, considering it is so tiny. We reserved a table for two people for 7 p.m. We arrived at 7:07 p.m. (the tram was canceled) and when we went in we saw that all the tables were occupied. The nice, Asian, little waitress asked if we could wait a little longer, so we went around the block and to Edeka. When we arrived we ordered a few appetizers and drinks, which came relatively quickly. The service was visibly busy, as customers came in every minute and had either reserved a table or had been waiting for their delivery for around 3 hours. It was fun to watch how she had to put off many customers and apologize numerous times because ice cream was out, there was only salmon instead of tuna, there was no vodka lemon in stock or other small gastronomic bottlenecks. I like coming back here during rush hour just to see how this sweet little Asian waitress has to manage the entire “front office” and keeps me entertained with her broken German while I eat the delicious house sushi.

The delivery never comes on time and there is hardly any soy sauce with the food. The last time I ordered the food arrived cold... Otherwise it tastes good.

Ehrlich gesagt finde ich, dass wirklich gut schmeckt. Aber seine Lieferung zum Mitnehmen ist wirklich langsam. Bewertung ab. To be honest, I think it tastes really good. But his takeout delivery is really slow. I want to give a negative review for the delivery speed. But I think the taste is surprisingly good, and I'm reluctant to give a bad review.

Dom Shibuya is a great spot for East Asian cuisine in Magdeburg, offering generous portion sizes and a welcoming atmosphere. The staff are exceptionally friendly, adding to the overall positive experience. While the food is excellent, the drinks can be a bit pricey. Despite that, the enjoyable ambiance and quality dining make it a worthwhile visit.

Great food. Unfortunately one item from the order was forgotten. After calling, the lady told us that they already knew and the driver was on the way. After an hour the missing delivery has still not arrived. 10 minutes before closing time the phone is no longer answered. It's a shame, we don't order anything here anymore.

If i could give zero stars i would. Horrible service. Has to wait 45 mins for the lady at the counter to tell me that the chicken is over and they dont have anything left. After i paid for my food. In 45 mins she dint realise to say anything. Do not go there and waste your money and time. I am. Beyond angry and her excuse was i should havw ordered sushi. Well then tell me when i order and pay. Also they dont speak German or English. So be careful.

I have on November 26th. Ordered food and paid for it via Paypal. However, the food was not delivered. Of course no one could be reached by phone. The following day I was told that the order had not been received. After I pointed out that I had received a confirmation email, it was then admitted. I was then offered to have the food delivered again, I declined and just wanted to get my money back via Paypal...Today is the 28th and still nothing has happened.

Small but cozy. I can only recommend the sushi, it was incredibly tasty. Thank you very much, we'll be happy to come back.

The food was very good. Unfortunately we had a bit of bad luck with our first service. Still water was out and when we thought tap water would be okay, it was pointed out several times that we were only allowed to take things from the menu and whether tap water was on the menu, a situation that would certainly have made a comedy. In the end we were able to agree on a sprite, but the glasses were probably out too, see first picture. All in all, an experience that can be described as fitting in good German style.

The tea, which contains a maximum of 150 ml (more like 100 ml), costs €6.50. This is pure disgrace!!! Something was mixed up during the meal and there were also problems when we wanted to pay. For the money you spend here you should go somewhere else.

We ordered food there for the first time today, unfortunately I have to say. The food didn't come until 90 minutes, although the email said it would arrive in 45 minutes with the exact time. Unfortunately, the food was also very cold and it came in a broken bag where the sauce had already leaked out. I can't recommend it at all. The taste was okay. I can't say what it's like locally, but delivery isn't organized. There are now very good warming boxes available today! This would also be more sustainable, as the food would be hot and would not leak.

Crazy...I don't think I've ever eaten better...I have to deduct one point because unfortunately it didn't arrive hot...but the taste was more than great.

Even though my lychee juice was missing, I have to give this a good review! The food is really damn good! Great quantities and great ingredients. A few more options for sauces would be great, but the only criticism I have is that my lychee juice was missing from the delivery.

Unfortunately very poorly organized. Placed an order at 8:12 p.m. and still haven't received anything after more than 2 hours. We called at 9:15 p.m. to see if the food was still coming today and they just said the driver was already on his way. After that, further calls were ignored. It's a shame, we used to enjoy eating there - but anyone who can't admit to having forgotten an order and then doesn't contact the customer at all shouldn't run a restaurant and I wouldn't like to continue being a guest there.

According to the online menu, the price for self-collection is 10.60 euros, but 12.50 euros were requested. People didn't want to understand the objections. Plus the food wasn't worth the price. Very dubious.

During a family trip, we decided to visit this store because of the positive reviews. The small restaurant is cozy and furnished with attention to detail. The service was super friendly and there for us straight away. Although the store appears to be geared towards online orders, an on-site visit is definitely recommended. We sat right in front of the sushi chef's counter and were able to catch a glimpse of him every now and then. After a bit of a wait, our records arrived and we really liked the quality. A ratio of little rice and a lot of fish - that's a sign of a good sushi place for me. I didn't even miss the sushi mayo. Relatively speaking, the price for the sushi for 3 people was a bit high, but all in all it was a really great visit! Gladly again!

Disappointing is how I would review this place. The food tasted stale. It did not feel fresh. Felt like we were being served frozen food that was just heated up. The service was decent but the tasteless and poor quality of the food takes the joy of this place. They really need to up their game.

Today we ordered for 3 people and even found space comfortably with a large walker. The restaurant is designed in the style that you know from various videos of Japanese restaurants: small, great atmosphere (decoration is just great!) and just cozy. We then ordered spring rolls, which even our mother-in-law loved, and each of the three of us ordered the frame noodles with roasted duck. Did we somehow get the undon noodles? But that didn't detract from the taste! The mistress then tried the mochi and found it really tasty. I also got a bite and I also found it delicious. The only disappointment was that you could only order cola and water? Gin and tonic and other drinks were not available because something was wrong with the cooling? or something was wrong - unfortunately I didn't understand it. Anyway, I liked the place so much that I even forgot to take photos of the food for my Insta channel! Thank you for a great birthday for my wife! 4/5 stars!

The miso-based ramen was very tasty. In my opinion, I found vegetables a little less cooked than I would have liked, but all in all a very nice atmosphere, nice staff and delicious food.

I ordered at 8:19 p.m. and at !10:17 p.m.! I got a call that the driver has supposedly driven off. In between I called twice and was told that the driver was on the way. I canceled the order and am now going to bed hungry and angry. I won't be ordering here again anytime soon!

Great optics, everyone is very friendly but somehow it's too quiet

All sauces are spicy. Usually in establishments, some dishes are made with markings of the spiciness of the sauces. On Sunday, the place was empty.

I ordered two menus for home delivery but only one arrived. I called to find a solution but they couldn't give me one. I was told it was my fault and my problem. Stay away from this store, the staff treats customers like dirt and the quality of service is terrible.

Actually a normal Asian restaurant with a Japanese touch. Don't let the name Shibuya fool you, it's just trying to jump on the Japanese bandwagon with sushi and ramen. The ambience seems more like China and other dishes are standard Asian dishes. I had udon soup which was okay but there are much better ones even in Magdeburg. There wasn't a lot of "fresh" stuff in the soup (a piece of carrot and some spring onions), most of it was frozen or convinced that the beef was very well fried and not too dry. Unfortunately, numerous (Asian) drinks were out and nobody had apparently ever heard of Ramune (a typical Japanese drink). My lunch menu was supposed to be accompanied by a wakame salad (seaweed), but apparently this was also out (or not yet thawed) and I got my soup with "supposedly" more beef, although I can't compare it to normal. The napkins were simply made from kitchen roll and when I asked for a receipt the cash register was (supposedly) broken and I wanted to send it to me by email, which I was told with an annoyed undertone.

Unfortunately I have to give 1 star because I got a Diet Coke that I started. Which surprises me a lot... That might explain the 5 euro voucher... I've never had that before either.

The food and sodas were delicious. The portions were okay for the price. However, the vegetables were not cooked through and the soup could have been a little spicier. The service was friendly and the food came quickly. The location is small but very beautifully decorated. Unfortunately, sitting was uncomfortable.

Nettes Personal und ganz schönes Lokal. Das Essen - bisher Ramen und Curry - finde ich leider nicht sehr gelungen, da es sehr nach Komponenten-Küche aussieht und auch schmeckt. Es war eher langweilig und nicht gut gewürzt. Der Tofu war dagegen lecker und ich gebe dem Tofu noch eine Chance!

Wir bekamen spontan einen Tisch für 6, wo uns das freundliche Personal, super schnell, 2 Tische zusammen stellte! Das Essen war wirklich gut, auch wenn es etwas mehr vom Rindfleisch hätte sein dürfen. Aber alles in allem wirklich zu empfehlen… 4 von 5 Sternen für das Ambiente, da leider die Toilette etwas arg zugebaut war und man schlecht rein kam!

Sehr zuvorkommend und schneller Service. Essenauswahl gut und gute Qualität. Das Essen war frisch zubereitet und die Wartezeit war nicht lang.

...es war einmal: ein tolles kleines Restaurant..Imbiss traf das damals tolle Ambiente nicht mal ansatzweise. Es gab hervorragendes qualitativ hochwertiges japanisches Essen. Sushi...Maki...Nigiri...Ramen...alles war sehr empfehlenswert...und wenn es mal etwas länger dauerte, so hatte das eben auch mit Qualität zu tun...es war slow food aus Asien at its best...das tolle Ambiente mit den wunderschönen Holzmöbeln und dem tollen japanischen Look gibt es noch....bitte werdet wieder so...

Fantastisches Essen zu top Preisen, ich war dort mit meinen Freunden essen und wir konnten uns wirklich nicht beschweren, die Leute waren nett und das Essen hat sehr gut geschmeckt

Sehr sehr gutes Sushi, nettes Ambiente und freundliches Personal. Auch die Vorspeisen (Kokosmilch Suppe mit Tofu und Sommerrollen) haben uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Das Japanische Curry mit Tofu war leider ein Desaster. Die Currysauce wirkte wie ein aufgewärmtes Fertigprodukt und war geschmacklich leider wirklich nicht gut. Wer aber gern Sushi isst, wird dort glücklich!!

Wir waren sehr begeistert. Preis-Leistung passt einfach. Solche Preise findet man heutzutage leider selten. Wir kommen gerne wieder! :)

Schönes, kleines asiatiches Restaurant. Für Sushi Fans definitiv geeignet. Ich wollte schon immer mal Rahmen essen( Gericht was man z.B. aus dem Anime Naruto kennt) und konnte mir dort diesen Wunsch erfüllen. Alles war soweit lecker und schön für das Auge verziert. Die Dekoration im Restaurant ist auch ein Hingucker....typisch japanisch . Einziger Negativpunkt war ,dass der Kelner uns nicht immer im Blick hatte und für Wünsche und Bezahlung etwas mehr Zeit verstrich... Im großen und ganzen fand ich das Restaurant aber sehr gut und das essen war lecker. Preislich war es auch ok und nicht zu überteuert. Wir werden dieses Restaurant bestimmt noch öfters aufsuchen.

es war okay, leider war der wakame Salat noch gefroren, das frittierte Sushi verbrannt. der Rest war okay - aber es gibt viel Auswahl in Magdeburg, nächste Mal probieren wir was anderes.

Karten etwas abgegriffen. Leider zieht es sehr. Kellner kam zur Bestellung aufnehmen schnell und essen kam auch fix. Aber dann ward er nicht mehr gesehen. Schade. Leider ist die Karte auf der Internetseite nicht mehr aktuell.

Das Personal war sehr nett, die Einrichtung war sehr geschmackvoll und ergab zusammen mit der ruhigen Musik ein schönes Ambiente. Zu den Getränken: Der Mangosaft mit Kokosmilch war solide, nicht zu süß. Der warme Ingwer-Zitrone Drink mit Honig war sehr lecker und wohltuend bei kaltem Wetter. Mit dem Auftakt waren wir frohen Mutes, was das Essen angeht. Zum Essen: Der Vorspeisen Teller für 2 Personen war gut gemacht. Wahrscheinlich vorgefertigte Rollen, Gyoza und Spieße, aber gut zubereitet. Die Spieße hätten etwas mehr gegart sein können. Edamame war auch gut, aber da kann man eigentlich nichts verkehrt machen. Dann hatten wir Ramen mit Udon Nudeln. Die Brühe, die mit das Wichtigste des Gerichts ist, war lasch und langweilig. Die Eier und die Pilze waren kalt und die Eier hatten noch kleine Schalenteile dran. Das Rindfleisch war okay, aber durch die langweilige Brühe auch eher geschmacklos. Die Nudeln waren nicht mehr bissfest. Außerdem hatten wir gebratene Nudeln mit Hähnchen bestellt. Dieses Gericht sollte ebenso Udon Nudeln enthalten und ich wollte es unbedingt probieren, da ich noch nie gebratene Udon Nudeln hatte. Das ist auch so geblieben, denn es waren normale Ramen Nudeln und keine Udon. Schade. Das Hähnchen war gekochte Hähnchenbrust ohne Haut, was sehr ungewöhnlich ist und noch dazu war es nicht gut zubereitet und kaum gewürzt. Also auch wieder eher langweilig. Das Ganze lag auf einem Bett aus teils warmem, teils kaltem Gemüse (etwas Brokkoli, etwas Gurke, etwas Karotte, etwas Salat, und wirklich nur etwas, also eher Deko). Die Preise für die Hauptgerichte sind für die Lage und das nette Ambiente eigentlich günstig, aber rechtfertigen die Qualität (und bei den gebratenen Nudeln auch die Quantität) nicht. Bei Standard Gerichten, die keine japanische Spezialität sind, kann man von vietnamesischem Personal mehr Kochkunst erwarten (so wie es viele andere tolle Restaurants und Imbisse machen). Die Vorspeisenplatte für 2 war mit 12,50€ 3€ teurer als ein Hauptgericht. Die Getränkepreise waren fair (3,50€). In Bezug auf die Gerichte, die wir hatten, kann ich es leider nicht empfehlen. Vielleicht wäre es besser die Karte zu verkleinern und wirklich nur das zu servieren, was man zu 100% drauf hat. Sushi soll ja laut anderen Rezensionen gut sein.

Das erste Mal bestellt und total begeistert von der Sushiqualität. Der rohe Lachs war so frisch und butterweich, ein Traum. Auch der Sushireis hatte einen tollen Geschmack und Konsistenz. Die Noriblätter waren auch super und nicht so zäh, wie man es manchmal serviert bekommt. Die Avocado war super aromatisch und lecker. Das Mengenverhältnis zwischen Reis und Füllung ist toll, so soll es sein! Rundum waren wir sehr zufrieden und werden demnächst auch mal vor Ort essen kommen.
