Relax atmosphere but didn’t like free flow of 2nd smoke nearby.

Great food, great ambience and top service. And please be sure to try the extra fluffy apricot dumplings as dessert!!!!

Firstly, the restaurant has a very wonderful atmosphere and the food is very nice and good. The prices are a bit high, but they are suitable for me, with the quality of the food, the place and the service provided by Brother Michael Messi. Thank you for your kindness and your wonderful service. Munich doesn't just have the problem in Thurs and Co that people work as waiters who haven't learned it. Sat at the table for 5 minutes, no one comes, no one looks, the service is busy with itself, no waiter moves at a pace that looks like work.

Disastrous service - certainly understaffed but unfortunately even the employees on site had no plan!

Excellent food! Fresh and the quality is amazing. The soup was a standout, I haven’t tried something like that before. The place is beautiful and staff Manuel and Dania were excellent in doing their job! Kudos to the kitchen for the delicious meal 😘 location is great too, near to the historical area. A must try when in Munich, highly recommended!

Top notch! The Do&Co Bistro is unrivaled in the heart of "Altstadt". Heartfelt service, good ambiance, wine and food are making it our long time favorite. I have no understanding for people who apparently didn't manage to getting a table, leaving unqualified 1 star reviews. Happy to be back soon.

The Do&Co Bistro in Munich far exceeded my expectations! The Wiener Schnitzel was absolutely perfect – tender, crispy and of a quality that you rarely find. The popcorn shrimp was also a highlight, with a crispy breading and an incomparable taste. I would particularly like to emphasize the fantastic support from the restaurant management Melanie. Their commitment and warm manner made the evening an unforgettable experience. Your professionalism and attention to every detail completed the entire experience. A visit to the Do&Co Bistro is an absolute must!

We came to the restaurant and asked the waiter if they had a table for three people. He didn't want to give us a table in front of the restaurant, so we sat on the side. He gave us the menu, and after 10 minutes he came to us and asked us - are you ready? We asked him if he could help us and recommend something. He told us - no, I'm too busy. And then he left. A few minutes later, his colleague came and we asked her if she could help us. She told us that she didn't speak English and that she would bring him back. He told her out loud that he didn't have time for that. We left the restaurant after sitting there for 20 minutes and no one even asked us if we wanted anything to drink.

Beautiful place in Munich to enjoy a delicious meal in a top atmosphere.

The service did not meet my expectations. We stood at the placement desk, the employees talked/exchanged after we didn't leave the place, but one employee moved towards us. She didn't greet us, turned her head to her desk and said, have you made a reservation? Here I would have at least expected people to look at me for this question. After a couple of tables were empty but not yet cleared, she said it would take 5 minutes. I can understand that because the employee was neither quick nor organized. First the glasses were carried away, then the tablecloth was carried away and the clips from the tablecloth were placed on the next table, then went especially for the rag to wipe them off, then the tablecloth was specially fetched, the clips were forgotten on the next table, so she had to look for new clips in the cupboard, the plates Set the table, of course went extra for the glasses, and then waved through the whole garden so that we could sit down. Maybe we weren't dressed appropriately in suits and a trench suit would have been better. We never had the feeling that we were welcome guests. I only give the three stars for the kitchen, because we really enjoyed the food!

Unfortunately, a really unpleasant and shocking experience!!!! We looked at the online tool before we went there, there were still a lot of free times, then we went there without a reservation. We were greeted very unfriendly and were told that nothing was available unless we had reserved. We were sent away even though I thought there was more than enough space online. We then made a reservation for the next available time because it was communicated to us as if we needed a reservation. Then we had to wait 15 minutes until someone came to take us to a table, and we weren't greeted either. The same lady had asked if we had a reservation, so I showed ours. She left quickly and had prepared a table, came back and on the way to the table said in an incredibly cheeky tone that she would make an exception and that it wasn't nice of us. A customer certainly can't help it if the restaurant has a mistake with the reservation system - how were we supposed to know that? It's an absolute shame to insult a customer who just wants to eat something nice there. I have rarely seen such an arrogant lady - and especially not in a restaurant of this class. We wouldn't have liked the food there after such audacity, so we left. This lady clearly has no respect or manners for the guests and thinks she is something better. The employee had very dark hair and was not a waitress but I think she managed the team or the tables. I worked in a luxury store myself and if I had treated a customer like that, I wouldn't have had to come to work the next day. Cannot recommend this experience to ANYONE.

We made a reservation, were there for 15 mins trying to order and three waiters ignored us continuously. Worst service

The food was pretty decent, the service was non-existent. Fantastic patio space if you can get one of the many people working to bother with seating you and taking your order.

My wife and i had dinner tonight at Do & Co Bistro Munich. It was a wet day so we were looking for a tasty dinner to lift our spirits as our holiday had been impacted by the wet weather since the afternoon. The friendly lady hostess / manager give us her recommendations across the menu and we selected from her shortlist. There was humus, steak, french soup, and a vegetarian dish with 2 eggs accompanied by sparkling water and red roja. Absolutely delicious. Service staff are well trained. Highly recommended to visit for mediterranean food.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The food on the other hand is really not worth the money. My friend had 6 pieces of pasta for €20+. And I had a big schnitzel for €33 euros. The schnitzel wasn't really crunchy and the sides were little and just not very tasty. I wouldn't eat there again, because the price/quantity/quality isn't worth it. And you would expect more from a place like this.

We wanted to eat something good but not heavy and this was amazing! A big and delicious surprise. I now know a good address in Munich.

What a find - upmarket but not pretentious, the food is excellent - Nathan our waiter was amazing all evening, friendly attentive and really helpful guiding us through the menu and offerings - give this place a go it’s excellent 👌

The hostess at the restaurant was very rude. The waitress said that the table was free, one of the hostess brought us menu and we made an order. After 15 minutes, the chef (I suppose) hostess came and started scolding us like kids for not having a reservation, when restaurant is fully booked. It was so loudly and confusing for us. She wanted us to leave, but since we had already placed an order, she allowed us to stay with a dissatisfied look. At the same time we didn't want to stay there anymore, but the order was placed. The mood is ruined, as is the first impression of Munich

My boyfriend and I go to this bistro almost every day for lunch or dinner. Today we didn't have time to have a full dinner there and I asked to order takeout. Previously, the waiters were happy to take something away from the order. But today the landlady, whom I saw for the first time in this restaurant, contemptuously offered me to eat at the pizzeria and refused to accept my take-out order. I didn't catch her name, but she had dark hair and was wearing a black dress. This is outrageous because we love this place and the food here, many of the waiters have known us for a long time and we never skimp on tips. I ask the restaurant managers to address this situation.

Hip restaurant near the women's church. It is best to book in advance otherwise there will be long waiting times. The atmosphere between the staff seemed very toxic and tipping was encouraged or almost mandatory, while this is not common in most European countries. For the rest, the atmosphere, the food and the interior were definitely worth it. If you like truffles, you can definitely go here!

Nice restaurant with very friendly service!! The falafel wrap was very tasty, but a dip with the tortilla chips would be ideal :) The waiting time for food was a bit long, but not bad for us personally. We would definitely come back :)

Super great ambience with great dishes from Mediterranean cuisine. The hummus with avocado is highly recommended. Service was very courteous and always with a smile.

The food is super, service a little slow

We just spontaneously wanted to eat here at 5 p.m. At least three tables were still free outside. When we politely asked if there was a table for my wife and I, the waiter said they were all reserved or that they didn't have any staff to serve more people. We weren't offered an alternative inside, even though everything was free. We were told rather succinctly that we should come back later. Although I do sympathize with the employee: Apparently he is all alone. Management should think about how to improve the situation in the event of staff shortages. Best regards!

Very uncomplicated and nice, even without a reservation, something becomes available quickly and the employees are very nice. You quickly get what you ordered and it tastes good. I'm happy here!

Haven't had such a good meal in a long time

Excellent and creative vegetarian offerings, great service and a lovely setting by the Frauenkirche. I had the delicious grilled cauliflower steak with creamed peas and caramelised figs, really outstanding and beautifully presented. My partner also enjoyed his cappelacci with burrata and tomato. We then shared rotatable pineapple, caramelised figs (can't have too many figs!) with a delicate lime sorbet. Pricey but worth it for an exceptional meal.

Have a new new culinary concept. Lots of Asian and Spanish. It's best to everyone order something different and share everything. aka “Sharing Plates” When it comes to food, I only give it 4 stars because I happen to have Spanish tapas very often and it would be unfair to those who got 5 stars. But the food is still very good. It's also a shame that there is no bread, you have to order the focaccia. The service is very friendly but can still improve. Unfortunately, we had to be waved to several times even though the bistro wasn't even half full. The coat was taken away and a token was given, but when I left there was no one there and after about 5 minutes of waiting, I took my coat myself and put the token down. I always comment at a high level, so it's definitely worth a visit.

Unfortunately, the team forgot to turn on the music at all🤷‍♀️Help US ourselves with quiet background music "Bosa Nova", which we then played because when the team noticed, the do & co musical background was like in a department store🤔take it Give you a positive example, like Zuma around the world. It can't be because of the Gema fee, irony aside😂✅

The restaurant is located in a hotel on the church plaza with a nice view of the cathedral. The decor is beautiful but the service was indifferent. The food was just okay, nothing to talk about. We ordered tuna carpaccio which was okay, the fried calamari dish was really chewy, no taste at all. The shrimp dish was also just okay. The desserts were good. I would not recommend this restaurant.

If you are carrying water, they will not allow you to drink it in restaurant. In fact, you will be asked to put it on the ground. Pretty stupid policy, considering your water is probably worth 2 euro at best. Service is poor. I’ve been to Michelin star restaurants, with much better food, where they don’t even ask this of you.

I recently visited Do & Co Bistro near the main plaza of Marienplatz, and it was an outstanding experience. Our waiter, Oscar, was incredibly attentive and provided personalized service, ensuring we felt welcome and well-cared for. The bistro itself was clean and organized, adding to the overall pleasant atmosphere. The food was exceptional. Both the omelette and Benedict egg were simply to die for, and the lattes were perfectly made. If you're looking for a great meal in a welcoming environment, I highly recommend Do & Co Bistro.

Great place with amazing atmosphere... Food was delicious.

We visited the DO & CO on a short trip to Munich. Focaccia and three small schnitzels were ordered. The breading of the schnitzel was very dry and the focaccia was old, dried out and was returned. The drinks were delivered after the meal and there was neither a question as to whether the food was tasty nor an understanding of the criticism of the food. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this restaurant.

Was an absolute delight, price was great and portions really fantastic (not too much, definitely not too little). I am very picky on Humus, which was ok, but shrimp and focaccia were great and service was excellent (shout out to Oscar for top service)

There were some hiccups in service as one of them forgot our order and took away our plates and fork before we finished the meal, but servers were kind and they resolved the issues attentively. Food was good overall, but the pasta and hummus need to be slightly less salty. Focaccia was lovely with the hummus as recommended by the server, the fried calamari and bisque were nice.

Had an amazing Bavarian breakfast experience! Inside is cozy, outdoor is a really nice place to chill, and service is amazing.

I have been here several times and keep coming back. The food is excellent, I especially recommend the Cappellacci with Burrata and the Tuna steak. The interior is very trendy with comfortable chairs and a nice look into the kitchen.

We discovered the place just walking around. It’s very beautiful, with a charmant terrasse. We ate lobster, tuna, vegetables and mezzelune with truffle. Everything was fantastic. Special mention to the waiters that have been extremely kind and helpful specially Manuel, a spanish guy from Madrid that has perfectly understood our needs and recommended very efficiently. I strongly reccomend the place.

Exceptional service (they go above and beyond) and a great place to grab brunch or breakfast with both indoor and outdoor seating.

food is delicious. everything we had was very good. service was friendly but seemed a bit ignorant and uppish. they brought a wrong order. and we told them. and they asked in an arrogant way if they should replace it. we said: no its fine. because i dont like throwing away food. then she looked at me like: well why did you say anything in the first place. other than that all good.

We had an incredible experience at Do & Co Bistro. My cappelacci with burrata was phenomenal. Like, the best I’ve ever had. Our server, Oscar, was excellent. We can’t wait to come back and try the lobster.

Excellent fresh food! Great service. Fun atmosphere.

The table we were at was very comfortable, tucked into a corner. The food was good, but costly. The smaller portions were good for my husband and me, but our daughter ordered more food after her entre. The service was basically take the order, someone else delivered it, but no follow up with the original wait staff. For the cost of the meal, there should have been better attention to the diners.

The restaurant is excellent and their steak is an artist

We went there spontaneously during the week for an early dinner to try out the Wiener Schnitzel. Ambiance is nice, service is courteous (but seems a bit fake). However, the Wiener Schnitzel and the accompanying potato salad didn't really convince us.

When we visited the restaurant for the Valentine's Day menu, we were initially greeted by a very nice waitress who accompanied us through the evening. The food was good. However, we were disappointed with the reception and the seat right next to the door. Despite the cold weather and my jacket, I was cold throughout the evening. When we asked whether we could be moved, we were bluntly told that all the seats were occupied - even though the store was almost empty for an hour and a half. Later, when more guests arrived, there were still free tables. It is understandable that the reservation system has its limitations, but it would have been nice if the staff had been more flexible to ensure we had a more pleasant stay given the steep prices charged. In summary, the food was good and the menu was extremely overpriced, the service was very friendly, but the experience was marred by the uncomfortable seating and the lack of flexibility of the staff.

This place has a very nice atmosphere, the food is incredibly tasteful, you can feel all the flavors and the velocity of the kitchen is surprising. The service is top tier, we had the luck to have Oscar as our waiter and that made our whole experience even better, so kind and considerate. Also a bonus, it’s comfortable for people with limited movement, and they can call you a taxi which is the only way to get there by car.

Ich war hier schon ein paarmal, und war bisher eigentlich immer begeistert. Der Service ist super super freundlich. Jedoch war das Essen, das wir diesmal bestellt hatten von der Qualität her und vom Geschmack leider überhaupt nicht so, wie ich es gewohnt war. Die Shakshuka war nicht richtig gut durchgekocht und etwas ungewürzt. Die Pommes nicht richtig fritiert. Die Piamentos noch viel zu hart. Ich hoffe, beim nächsten Besuch wird es besser.

The salmon carpaccio was DRENCHED in a mayonnaise-y sauce that hid the taste of the fish. The truffle mezzaluna was just heavy and not flavorful. The waitresses didn’t know what they were stuffed with. The food arrived before the cocktail was finished. Overall, it was OK.

Sehr Stylisches Restaurant. Das Geschirr sollte man nach dem waschen etwas polieren, Gläser und Geschirr hatten Eiweißgeruch Der Service zwar freundlich, aber wenig aufmerksam, wir saßen öfters vor leeren Gläsern. Das Essen den Preisen entsprechend gut, die Qualität des Fisches war sehr gut.

Schönes Bistro Restaurant mit gutem Essen. Leider war der Service beim Valentinstag-Dinner nur so so. Bei einem vorgegebenen Menu, bei dem die einzige Frage ist, ob man zum Hauptgang den Fisch oder das Rind nehmen möchte, ist es für mich nicht erklärlich, warum es zwischen den Gängen bis zu 30 Minuten gedauert hat, bis den nächsten Gang gereicht wurde. Es war zwar voll, aber nicht super voll. Insbesondere wenn die Bedienung Zeit hat, rumzustehen und zu schwatzen, ist es halt schwer nachzuvollziehen, warum wir vor leeren Gläsern und leeren Tellern sitzen. Davon abgesehen, dass wir zwar eine Weinkarte bekommen hatten, aber dann bis zum zweiten Gang nicht mal gefragt wurden welchen Wein wir den wollten. Den habe ich dann erst auf mein Nachfragen bekommen. Also, alles in allem gute Speisen, aber bestenfalls mittelmäßiger Service. Schade.... :(

Ich liebe diesen Ort einfach. Ich gehe hin und wieder dorthin und es ist unglaublich. Das Essen ist köstlich und die Atmosphäre ist perfekt.
