Food not on par with the price but still good. Service a bit sloppy. Ambience very loud but chic.

An absolute highlight in Munich! A few days ago we had the pleasure of dining at Bistro Do&Co in Munich and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. We felt welcome as soon as we made the reservation, but the warm welcome with a beaming smile started our stay perfectly - a gesture that has unfortunately become rare these days. A special thank you goes to Marc, who spoiled us with excellent service. He was attentive, professional and made us feel very special. The kitchen then did the rest and delighted us with delicious dishes of the highest standard. Overall, Bistro Do&Co is a real insider tip in Munich! If you want to experience excellent service, a great atmosphere and culinary highlights, you shouldn't miss this gem. We are already looking forward to returning and hopefully meeting the same wonderful staff again. Be sure to keep it up – we’ll be back!

The two of us had dinner here in the evening and had a lot of fun. The waitress, unfortunately I forgot her name, was very accommodating and easy to talk to. The food was very tasty, we chose the grilled tuna and pappardelle with shrimps and both were very fresh and we really liked them. 😍 We were also recommended the right wines. The bistro is also beautifully decorated. Will come again 👍

The atmosphere in the service team was underground! Portions very small and poorly seasoned.

We were there on New Year's Eve - the food was very good, very expensive, but you could get everything if you wanted - so the price-performance ratio was okay. Quality of food and service very good and extremely friendly. It was just a shame that a lot of the guests left early and so there wasn't much going on at midnight and the DJ unfortunately didn't do much for the rest of the people.

We had a great time, delicious food and a good atmosphere, and relative to a luxury restaurant, the prices are reasonable. The tuna steak was of a high standard, and also the Viennese schnitzel.

Very nice restaurant in the center of Munich practically behind Marienplatz. The place is very well looked after in everything: the details, the furnishings, the staff and the cuisine. The food is certainly of excellent quality and cooked in front of the diners with a beautiful open kitchen and the chefs prepare everything with obsessive precision and professionalism. The environment and furnishings are very industrial-chic and frequented by beautiful people. A special mention to the kindness and courtesy of the truly impeccable staff, especially the girl at the entrance who accompanies you to the tables (I don't remember her name). The cost is rightly given by the sum of all this, therefore high but appropriate to the context. I highly recommend it.

Update: After the team responded so nicely here, we thought we'd try it out again. Unfortunately, the experience wasn't that great: the food was okay, but the portions were too tiny. The shakshuka was okay, but the baby calamari was a joke in terms of quality and quantity for 24 euros. Eight euros for a portion of fries. The service was quite good at the beginning, but not particularly friendly. At least the food came fairly quickly. But after that it died down: no one asked if they wanted another glass of wine or something else. I tried several times to subtly draw attention to myself, without success. So, sitting in the middle of it all, we were simply ignored or forgotten until the bill arrived. That was a shame. There are certainly many better options in Munich's old town in this price segment. Best wishes and a happy new year! We just spontaneously wanted to eat here at 5 p.m. At least three tables were still free outside. When we politely asked if there was a table for my wife and I, the waiter said they were all reserved or that they didn't have any staff to serve more people. We weren't offered an alternative inside, even though everything was free. We were told rather succinctly that we should come back later. Although I do sympathize with the employee: Apparently he is all alone. Management should think about how to improve the situation in the event of staff shortages. Kind regards!

Being a guest of the Do &Co hotel one evening I ate in this bistro on the ground floor. The bisque only tasted like cream, it arrived 40 minutes after I ordered it, I was about to get up and leave but the waiter also overbearingly insisted on staying because the dish was almost ready. The staff is not up to the task. The overbearing waiter, another waitress was fumbling and setting the table, making a big mess with the dishes. I told the waiter that the bisque was very bad, he made me pay for it anyway. I never post reviews but this time they deserve it!

Good day, I had a chance to visit the restaurant on Monday 30th December, late lunch time 15.30-17.00. It is located next to Frauenkirche. Very stylish interior and high quality food. I visited the venue with my wife. Each of us had a starter: - oven braised baby carrots (with coriander): very interesting taste of sweet baked carrots and a bit sauerkraut mix of jogurt with coriander- recommended, - pimientos de padron- perfection of simplicity. and main course: - wild salmon- very much quality piece of fish- definitely recommended, -bouillabaisse soup ("WEST COAST SOUP ST. MICHEL") - well, very interesting test, however more of fish/sea food and saffron would be welcome. We took a bottle of local Riesling: Wachenheim Riesling, Dr Bürklin-Wolf, 2019) - distinct taste of fair Riesling. Price of ca 60 EUR per bottle. We were waiting a bit too long for the waiter to take our order. After all was in time, however waiter did not took care about our glasses on regular basis. All in we paid incl wine ca 160-170 EUR. I would say that DO&CO is a brand of itself and I guess I do not need to convince anyone who had a chance to visit their restaurants. I was few times in Viennes one and was never disappointed. The one visited in Munich is definitely meeting the usual quality, with good food (ingredients and dish itself) and at the end of the day fair prices. I recommend for lunch with family and/or friends as well as for romantic dinner. As for the business lunch in the main room there is not too much of "confidential" atmosphere. 5 stars deserved.

We were guests here for the New Year's Eve celebration and it was a great time. Large amount of food, but the biggest highlight was the live performer who was absolutely fantastic!

Wir waren gestern zum 14. Mal (ja, wir haben gezählt:D) in diesem wunderbaren Restaurant, und wie immer war der Service einfach top. Das Essen ist jedes Mal ein Genuss – frisch, liebevoll zubereitet und geschmacklich hervorragend. Das Ambiente rundet das Erlebnis perfekt ab. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne hierher und können es jedem nur wärmstens empfehlen!

Absolut zu empfehlen! Wir waren im Bistro im Erdgeschoss und werden im Frühjahr 2025 auch das Lokal im ersten Stock besuchen.

We had a lovely lunch on Christmas Eve. The pappardelle with prawns and lobster bisque was fantastic, and the schnitzel was fresh and lovely. Ambience was very nice. Staff were attentive( and we were grateful to them for serving across the Christmas holiday to make this possible. Very happy to recommend this restaurant. Loved that it was easy to book through this platform. Would go again.

The highlight was the service. The taste of the food was a bit lacking in sophistication. Unfortunately, apart from the prices, it doesn't come close to the Waca. Although we only had 2 glasses of wine, for 2 people (without ordering Wagyu and cavier), we came to €360. That's just too much for this type of restaurant. The portions really made you hungry.

We were particularly impressed by the quality of the ingredients and the loving presentation. The attentive staff made the start of the day even better: friendly, courteous and always there with a smile when you needed something. Even special requests were fulfilled without hesitation. The atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant - ideal for starting the day in peace. The breakfast in the bistro far exceeded our expectations and was the perfect start to the day!

An evening full of enjoyment – ​​a taste experience in a class of its own! Dinner in the restaurant was an absolute highlight of our stay. The atmosphere was already impressive – stylish, modern and cozy at the same time. The view from our table was fantastic and rounded off the evening perfectly. The menu offered an excellent selection of creative and finely balanced dishes. Every course was an experience for the senses – visually perfectly presented and tasted at a top level. The quality of the ingredients was outstanding and the combinations on the plates were exceptional. Added to this was the excellent service: friendly, attentive and never intrusive. The staff made our evening even better with their professional manner. We enjoyed the evening to the fullest, took a lot of time and savored every moment. This restaurant is a must for everyone who values ​​fine cuisine and a special ambience. An evening we will definitely repeat!

A bit expensive for what it is.

Kind waiter, delicious but not outstanding food. However, first we were seated to the most uncomfortable place in the restaurant whereas almost all tables were still available. After asking for different table, we got a more pleasant one but with a look on the face of the responsible lady that speaks unfriendly volumes. 100% recommendable!! The food is a spectacle, the service is super attentive and the atmosphere has a mix of luxury and detail that you don't want to leave, the whole of the mentions, a worthy masterpiece, we will repeat without a doubt

We were really pushed to order many courses. "That's not enough, far too little..." . When we asked if we couldn't reorder, we said no. You would need 100% on the first order. The food came and it was way too much. After we couldn't eat any more sushi, we wanted to cancel the rest, which was only possible with the side dishes. Pork belly was fatty and the medium ribeye was well done and 1.5cm thick. The four of us had to pay €600.

If you’re looking for someplace with extremely comfortable seating and quiet atmosphere, so you can visit with a friend… This place is perfect. It was one of the more spending meals we had in Munich, but it was absolutely delightful.

Our drinks arrived quickly, and the food came out at a perfect pace. The staff seemed genuinely invested in making sure we had a pleasant dining experience. The wine & drink list is impressive, with a great selection of reds, whites, and unique mixed drinks. The food, was wow. The spicy sauce with edamame was perfectly balanced. The crab gyoza & crispy ebi maki both were incredibly flavourful as well as the perfectly seared ribeye steak with delectable truffle mayo. Thought they couldn't wow my taste buds any further, then the citrus white chocolate shell dessert came. I don't really know what magic is was but it was the perfect finish to the meal. While on the pricier side, the quality of the food and the overall experience made it well worth the cost. The portions were perfect, and the flavors were truly exceptional. It’s not the kind of place you’d visit for a quick bite, but for a special occasion or a leisurely evening out, it’s a great choice. Overall, my experience was fantastic. The combination of excellent service, flavorful dishes, and a welcoming atmosphere made for a memorable dining experience. I especially appreciated the attention to detail in both the food and service. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a place to celebrate a special occasion or simply enjoy great food in a relaxed environment. I’ll certainly be returning to try more from the menu.

Food tastes terrible, incredibly greasy and unseasoned. Typical gastro eating system. Drinks completely overpriced, like the rest. Small portions. Price performance totally wrong. Even the dessert was nothing. A concept probably for stupid tourists...

We were tourists in Munich at the final stages of a long trip away. It was a Sunday with many restaurants closed. We had walked past Do& Co days earlier and it looked lively and well patronised. We booked for an early dinner, 6.30pm. We ordered the Schintzel and Tuna steak with brocolini and carrots as 'extra' sides The food was great, a fantastic way to end a Sunday. We did notice that it started to get very busy around 7.45pm and service dropped off, bearing in mind it was a Sunday. Other patrons who had arrived later (say 7.30pm) were frustrated with the lack of service attention. Our experience was great. Would we go again, definitely for the food. On a Sunday we would keep an earlier booking time.

We had a somewhat strange interaction with a young receptionist who appeared to be both inexperienced and smug, and who only communicated with us in wooden English. Since there are so many nice and great alternatives in Munich, we'll just go there.

The food and service were simply top, highly recommended. We spent €100 per person but we also had 2 bottles of Cloudy Bay wine. I will definitely go there again on my next trip to Munich.

Very very inattentive service. Long waiting times for anyone to come. The table next door also had to call and wave for their bill. Asked about the size of the steak: 250gr. Didn't get 200 grams. That's not okay for me. Sitting in front of empty plates and glasses for 15 minutes. Food is delicious, but all in all the price/performance ratio is absolutely not right here.

Great location one the square, romantic, good service- we came back 3 times in 5 days because it was just what we wanted. Sweet potato and coconut soup was Devine. French fries and calamari were wonderful.

Munich doesn't just have the problem in Thurs and Co that people work as waiters who haven't learned it. Sat at the table for 5 minutes, no one comes, no one looks, the service is busy with itself, no waiter moves at a pace that looks like work.

Disastrous service - certainly understaffed but unfortunately even the employees on site had no plan!

Top notch! The Do&Co Bistro is unrivaled in the heart of "Altstadt". Heartfelt service, good ambiance, wine and food are making it our long time favorite. I have no understanding for people who apparently didn't manage to getting a table, leaving unqualified 1 star reviews. Happy to be back soon.

The Do&Co Bistro in Munich far exceeded my expectations! The Wiener Schnitzel was absolutely perfect – tender, crispy and of a quality that you rarely find. The popcorn shrimp was also a highlight, with a crispy breading and an incomparable taste. I would particularly like to emphasize the fantastic support from the restaurant management Melanie. Their commitment and warm manner made the evening an unforgettable experience. Your professionalism and attention to every detail completed the entire experience. A visit to the Do&Co Bistro is an absolute must!

We came to the restaurant and asked the waiter if they had a table for three people. He didn't want to give us a table in front of the restaurant, so we sat on the side. He gave us the menu, and after 10 minutes he came to us and asked us - are you ready? We asked him if he could help us and recommend something. He told us - no, I'm too busy. And then he left. A few minutes later, his colleague came and we asked her if she could help us. She told us that she didn't speak English and that she would bring him back. He told her out loud that he didn't have time for that. We left the restaurant after sitting there for 20 minutes and no one even asked us if we wanted anything to drink.

The service did not meet my expectations. We stood at the placement desk, the employees talked/exchanged after we didn't leave the place, but one employee moved towards us. She didn't greet us, turned her head to her desk and said, have you made a reservation? Here I would have at least expected people to look at me for this question. After a couple of tables were empty but not yet cleared, she said it would take 5 minutes. I can understand that because the employee was neither quick nor organized. First the glasses were carried away, then the tablecloth was carried away and the clips from the tablecloth were placed on the next table, then went especially for the rag to wipe them off, then the tablecloth was specially fetched, the clips were forgotten on the next table, so she had to look for new clips in the cupboard, the plates Set the table, of course went extra for the glasses, and then waved through the whole garden so that we could sit down. Maybe we weren't dressed appropriately in suits and a trench suit would have been better. We never had the feeling that we were welcome guests. I only give the three stars for the kitchen, because we really enjoyed the food!

We made a reservation, were there for 15 mins trying to order and three waiters ignored us continuously. Worst service

Unfortunately, a really unpleasant and shocking experience!!!! We looked at the online tool before we went there, there were still a lot of free times, then we went there without a reservation. We were greeted very unfriendly and were told that nothing was available unless we had reserved. We were sent away even though I thought there was more than enough space online. We then made a reservation for the next available time because it was communicated to us as if we needed a reservation. Then we had to wait 15 minutes until someone came to take us to a table, and we weren't greeted either. The same lady had asked if we had a reservation, so I showed ours. She left quickly and had prepared a table, came back and on the way to the table said in an incredibly cheeky tone that she would make an exception and that it wasn't nice of us. A customer certainly can't help it if the restaurant has a mistake with the reservation system - how were we supposed to know that? It's an absolute shame to insult a customer who just wants to eat something nice there. I have rarely seen such an arrogant lady - and especially not in a restaurant of this class. We wouldn't have liked the food there after such audacity, so we left. This lady clearly has no respect or manners for the guests and thinks she is something better. The employee had very dark hair and was not a waitress but I think she managed the team or the tables. I worked in a luxury store myself and if I had treated a customer like that, I wouldn't have had to come to work the next day. Cannot recommend this experience to ANYONE.

My wife and i had dinner tonight at Do & Co Bistro Munich. It was a wet day so we were looking for a tasty dinner to lift our spirits as our holiday had been impacted by the wet weather since the afternoon. The friendly lady hostess / manager give us her recommendations across the menu and we selected from her shortlist. There was humus, steak, french soup, and a vegetarian dish with 2 eggs accompanied by sparkling water and red roja. Absolutely delicious. Service staff are well trained. Highly recommended to visit for mediterranean food.

The food was pretty decent, the service was non-existent. Fantastic patio space if you can get one of the many people working to bother with seating you and taking your order.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The food on the other hand is really not worth the money. My friend had 6 pieces of pasta for €20+. And I had a big schnitzel for €33 euros. The schnitzel wasn't really crunchy and the sides were little and just not very tasty. I wouldn't eat there again, because the price/quantity/quality isn't worth it. And you would expect more from a place like this.

Wir wurden am frühen Abend bei schönstem Wetter im Innenbereich an einen Katzentisch unter einem sehr lauten Bass-Lautsprecher (kopfschmerzfördernd) platziert, obwohl während der gesamten Zeit im herrlichen Außenbereich fünf Tische unbesetzt blieben. Die Platzanweiserin hatte kein Interesse, uns entgegen zu kommen. Unverständlich und sehr ärgerlich! Der Service war bis auf den freundlichen Restaurantleiter sehr zäh. Das Essen war gut.

We wanted to eat something good but not heavy and this was amazing! A big and delicious surprise. I now know a good address in Munich.

The hostess at the restaurant was very rude. The waitress said that the table was free, one of the hostess brought us menu and we made an order. After 15 minutes, the chef (I suppose) hostess came and started scolding us like kids for not having a reservation, when restaurant is fully booked. It was so loudly and confusing for us. She wanted us to leave, but since we had already placed an order, she allowed us to stay with a dissatisfied look. At the same time we didn't want to stay there anymore, but the order was placed. The mood is ruined, as is the first impression of Munich

Das Essen war sehr gut, das Service an sich auch, aber leider wurden manche Bestellungen zwischenzeitlich vergessen - dadurch teilweise relativ lange Wartezeiten. Das wurde aber durch Entgegenkommen bei der Rechnung absolut wieder in Ordnung gebracht. In jedem Fall eine 100% Empfehlung!

Leider wirklich eine unschöne und schockierende Erfahrung!!!! Wir haben auf dem Online Tool geschaut bevor wir hingelaufen sind, viele freie Zeiten noch, dann sind wir ohne Reservierung hingelaufen. Wir wurden schon sehr unfreundlich begrüsst und uns wurde gesagt es sei nichts frei, ausser wir hätten reserviert. Wir wurden weggeschickt obwohl ich meinte, dass es online mehr als genug Platz hätte. Daraufhin haben wir eine Reservierung für die nächste verfügbare Zeit erstellt, da es uns so kommuniziert wurde als würden wir eine Reservierung brauchen. Dann mussten wir 15min warten bis jemand zu uns kam um uns an irgendeinen Tisch zu bringen, begrüsst wurden wir auch nicht. Dieselbe Dame hatte gefragt ob wir eine Reservierung hätten, woraufhin ich unsere zeigte. Sie ist schnell weg und hatte einen Tisch vorbereitet, kam zurück und meinte auf dem Weg zum Tisch in unglaublich frechem Ton, dass sie eine Ausnahme machen würde und das von uns nicht schön gewesen sei. Ein Kunde kann sicher nichts dafür wenn das Restaurant ein Fehler mit dem Reservationssystem hat - woher hätten wir das wissen sollen. Eine absolute Frechheit so einen Kunden zu beleidigen, der einfach gerne dort etwas Nettes essen möchte. So eine arrogante Dame habe ich selten erlebt - und schon gar nicht in einem Restaurant dieser Klasse. Das Essen hätte uns dort nicht geschmeckt nach so einer Dreistigkeit, daher sind wir gegangen. Diese Dame hat offensichtlich kein Respekt oder Manieren vor den Gästen und glaubt sie sei etwas Besseres. Kann diese Erfahrung NIEMANDEM empfehlen.

My boyfriend and I go to this bistro almost every day for lunch or dinner. Today we didn't have time to have a full dinner there and I asked to order takeout. Previously, the waiters were happy to take something away from the order. But today the landlady, whom I saw for the first time in this restaurant, contemptuously offered me to eat at the pizzeria and refused to accept my take-out order. I didn't catch her name, but she had dark hair and was wearing a black dress. This is outrageous because we love this place and the food here, many of the waiters have known us for a long time and we never skimp on tips. I ask the restaurant managers to address this situation.

The atmosphere between the staff seemed very toxic and tipping was encouraged or almost mandatory, while this is not common in most European countries. For the rest, the atmosphere, the food and the interior were definitely worth it. If you like truffles, you can definitely go here!

Nice restaurant with very friendly service!! The falafel wrap was very tasty, but a dip with the tortilla chips would be ideal :) The waiting time for food was a bit long, but not bad for us personally. We would definitely come back :)

Super great ambience with great dishes from Mediterranean cuisine. The hummus with avocado is highly recommended. Service was very courteous and always with a smile.

13:30h on Saturday - the kitchen is closed for lunch. Extremely rude stuff, not even explaining, just sending people off. Horrible service!

Bold waiter on the terrace at 1.30 pm said kitchen is closed for lunch . Very rude and dismissive . While more than half tables are still empty. Lazy personal kills every business and reputation. Very very sad .

Very uncomplicated and nice, even without a reservation, something becomes available quickly and the employees are very nice. You quickly get what you ordered and it tastes good. I'm happy here!

Haven't had such a good meal in a long time

Excellent and creative vegetarian offerings, great service and a lovely setting by the Frauenkirche. I had the delicious grilled cauliflower steak with creamed peas and caramelised figs, really outstanding and beautifully presented. My partner also enjoyed his cappelacci with burrata and tomato. We then shared rotatable pineapple, caramelised figs (can't have too many figs!) with a delicate lime sorbet. Pricey but worth it for an exceptional meal.

Have a new new culinary concept. Lots of Asian and Spanish. It's best to everyone order something different and share everything. aka “Sharing Plates” When it comes to food, I only give it 4 stars because I happen to have Spanish tapas very often and it would be unfair to those who got 5 stars. But the food is still very good. It's also a shame that there is no bread, you have to order the focaccia. The service is very friendly but can still improve. Unfortunately, we had to be waved to several times even though the bistro wasn't even half full. The coat was taken away and a token was given, but when I left there was no one there and after about 5 minutes of waiting, I took my coat myself and put the token down. I always comment at a high level, so it's definitely worth a visit.

Perfect, from reception, table & kitchen service. Unfortunately, the team forgot to turn on the music at all🤷‍♀️Help US ourselves with quiet background music "Bosa Nova", which we then played because when the team noticed, the do & co musical background was like in a department store🤔take it Give you a positive example, like Zuma around the world. It can't be because of the Gema fee, irony aside😂✅

The restaurant is located in a hotel on the church plaza with a nice view of the cathedral. The decor is beautiful but the service was indifferent. The food was just okay, nothing to talk about. We ordered tuna carpaccio which was okay, the fried calamari dish was really chewy, no taste at all. The shrimp dish was also just okay. The desserts were good. I would not recommend this restaurant.
