Great restaurant! The portions are generous, the taste of the food was excellent and the freshly toasted bread was very delicious. We were particularly impressed by the incredibly delicious and diverse appetizer platter. The service is friendly, fast and attentive. We'd love to come back. Absolutely recommended!

We ate here for the first time today. It all tasted great. The portions were plentiful. At the end there was even dessert on the house. We felt very comfortable and had the feeling that the children were also very welcome. We'd love to come back.

Preferably zero stars! I wanted to order dessert and was initially ignored. When I repeatedly expressed my desire, I was asked if I was sure about ordering the dessert since I was “apparently fat” and “no man would get a husband after dessert because then I would be so fat” and I already was "have eaten enough" This behavior is an absolute disgrace and completely disrespectful! Something like that shouldn't happen in the catering industry. I will never visit this restaurant again and strongly recommend that the staff be trained in how to deal with guests professionally.

Today we went to Janni's tavern again. As always, we were welcomed with open arms. That adds that certain “something”. The staff by that I mean the two “boys” (Kosta and Andy) are just super nice and friendly. They pull out all their legs for the guests. As usual, the food came from the kitchen in tip top condition. Tastes like a Greek tavern. No frills, just typically Greek. We will definitely come back and highly recommend everything. It has now become our regular pub.

I have been there again and again since 2012, even though the owners have changed many times, the quality of the food was TOP. I have never eaten such fresh fish anywhere except by the sea. The previous owner was from Aldingen, just like me. Great and a detour is definitely a must for anyone who likes good fish specialties!

Typically Greek, very hospitable and familiar. Everything I have eaten so far has been very tasty. There is an additional room for celebrations. In summer you can sit comfortably outside on the terrace. We really enjoy coming here. Definitely recommended

I ate dinner with my friends which was fantastic! Fast and impeccable service. We got Elena platte, Tygania and fish platte. For dessert we had Galaktoboureko which was really delicious. I highly recommend coming to this place for everyone.

A little more rustic than a restaurant, but with a lot of charm. The food is awesome. Service is super attentive and quick. Even when it's full. Absolutely top price-performance ratio. Reservation is highly recommended and necessary on some days. We actually drive over 20km to eat here. For us the best Greek food far and wide.

We visited Jannis and Elena for the first time today and we can only report positive things! The fish was super fresh, prepared Greek style, very nice... The meat mix plate, very well prepared, you can tell that everything is homemade, all fresh ingredients. Elena is also very friendly person, very personable and cares about her guests. We'll definitely come back.
