Dionysos - Restaurant im Rheinischen Hof in Monheim am Rhein

Four of us spontaneously dined there on Saturday. Unfortunately this was our first and last visit. Our food was initially forgotten. After 1.5 hours and asking twice, the main course came. One dish was wrong, and in another dish the meat was still completely raw (it was still pink on the outside too). Unfortunately, the portions were also very small. There was no response to the criticism mentioned and it was completely ignored. They also didn't help us with the bill. In addition, one person suffered from vomiting and diarrhea that same evening. This is clearly a case for the health department! Let's see what the reaction is.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Dionysos Greek Restaurant and all I can say is that it was a wonderful experience! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, ideal for a cozy evening with friends or family. The staff was very friendly and took care of our needs immediately. The food was simply great! The dishes were freshly prepared and full of authentic flavors. I was particularly impressed by the gratinated gyros plates and the grilled souvlaki skewers - they were perfectly seasoned and simply delicious. I'm looking forward to coming back soon!

My partner, my sister, her husband and I had dinner there together today and where should I start... First we waited over 1.5 hours for our food, then the big shock: My brother-in-law's souflaki skewer was still raw, and the gyro was also still pink. Unfortunately, this just resulted in my partner turning white and vomiting. We were actually satisfied so far, but after this time we won't be coming back.

We have eaten there many times and have always received a friendly welcome and service. As always, the food was very fresh and delicious. We had a great evening with the family. Keep it up, we’ll always be happy to come back 👍😊

Always a good idea. Food good. Service good, friendly and fast. The ambience in the back of the hall is not as comfortable as in the front area, but if you value it you can make a reservation. Still spontaneously got a table in the back area.

On Friday October 4th, 2024, we reserved a table for 4 people for 7:30 p.m. based on the relatively good reviews so far. First of all, this was our first and only visit to this “gourmet temple”. At this prime time, out of around 15 tables, only 2 tables were occupied by 6 people each. This room has the feel of a refrigerator and was characterized by 3 pictures with a Greek island panorama and 2 “antique” steles at the guest room entrance as well as a high volume from the guests already present. It's hard to imagine how loud it would have been if all the tables were occupied! The table assigned to us turned out to be unsuitable for consuming food and drinks for 4 people due to the lack of space due to the lack of space. Since all tables had the same dimensions, we were unable to swap places. While we were studying the menu, the waitress stood about 2m away from our table and looked at us expectantly. As soon as someone at the table put the card down, they immediately came to take the order while others were still choosing food and drinks. After the order was taken, the drinks were served promptly, as were the meals a little later. Regarding the food, just this much. Our friends from Herford and we agreed: “We have never eaten Greek so badly.” The side salad is conspicuous by its lack of any creativity, just coleslaw! The tzatziki tasted bland, and the garlic and cucumber corresponded to microorganisms. The meat dishes and the side dishes were awesome, the gyros were very fatty and wobbly, the potato slices were made from croquette puree and fried. The Bifteki was the shape and taste of a McDoof burger, not to mention the tasteless Bernaise sauce. Ultimately, my wife and I were ashamed of having invited our friends to this restaurant, where the food served consisted almost exclusively of convenience products. 115€ for the frass was the highlight of this evening in this place of culinary horror.😡 Your response to my review is an absolute impudence and can hardly be surpassed in terms of audacity. I have 3 witnesses who can confirm this frass, a receipt and a card statement from October 4th, 2024, that should probably be enough. Absolute disgrace, your memory corresponds to your food quality, just catastrophic!😡

Einen Tag zuvor waren wir im Platon(ebenfalls ein griechisches Restaurant)Ambiente tausendmal besser. Gastgeber beide sehr freundlich. Gyros war leckerer aber meiner Meinung nach zu klein geschnitten. Besuch dennoch wert:-)

Our favorite restaurant with Greek cuisine. Based on comparisons with other Greek restaurants, we like it there by far the best. And the atmosphere is super family friendly. Unique! Again and again!

Wir besuchten das Dionysos-Restaurant im Rheinischen Hof an einem sonnigen Sonntagnachmittag im Oktober und möchten unsere Erfahrung teilen. Das Essen, das wir bestellten, war gut zubereitet. Meine Partnerin entschied sich für Calamares, während ich Gyros mit Souflaki und Bifteki wählte. Die Speisen waren schmackhaft. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das äußerst zuvorkommende Personal. Ihre Freundlichkeit und Aufmerksamkeit trugen wesentlich zu unserer positiven Erfahrung bei. Unser Tisch befand sich im Raum direkt am Eingang des Restaurants und bot uns die Möglichkeit, das Kommen und Gehen der Gäste zu beobachten. Die Atmosphäre war entspannt und gemütlich, was zu einem angenehmen Nachmittag beitrug. Zusammenfassend war unser Besuch im Dionysos-Restaurant im Rheinischen Hof in Monheim insgesamt positiv.

Freundliche Bedienung, Preise sind ok. Es gibt Füschen Alt 👍und auch "Flüssigkeit im Reagenzglas"🙄. Portion war sehr gut und schmackhaft. Komme bestimmt wieder.

Da haben wir im Dorf den Karneval am Sonntag da geht man doch gerne auch zum Griechen. Heute gab es den Edessa-Teller. Ich selber mag besonders das Gyros was unter den beiden Schweinesteaks auch noch liegt gerne hier. Die Leute sind freundlich die Preise fair und man hat immer den Eindruck man ist mal eben in Griechenland.

Alles, nur kein Grieche! Ich kann die guten Bewertungen hier nicht nachvollziehen. Mit frischer griechischer Küche hat das hier nichts zu tun. Schön brav einen Tisch für 2 Personen reserviert - als wir ankamen - war nix mit reserviert. Aber es war noch genug frei. Vorspeise gebackener Schafskäse. Was geboten wurde: ein Stück gebackener Schafskäse. Sonst nichts. Keine Oliven, kein Öl, dafür trockenes Aldi Baguette. Haaaaalllllo Griechenland! Fladenbrot nicht Baguette! Dann den Klassiker bestellt, Gyros, Souvlaki und Bifteki. Damit es besonders wird natürlich nicht mit den angebotenen Pommes sondern die Ofenkartoffeln. Wer will schon Pommes! Was dann kam eine einzige Enttäuschung. Allerdings: Das Fleisch war gut! Aber die Ofenkartoffeln in der Fritteuse aufgebackene Industrie Kartoffelscheiben ( sahen aus wie Riffelchips) und das Zaziki? Aus der Dose! Nicht selbstgemacht! Und das bei einem Griechen! Schämt Euch!! Also Fazit: Nette Bedienung, ist bemüht und freundlich. Aber das Essen für einen Griechen unterirdisch. Schade ums Geld , schade um die Zeit. Dionysos : uns seht ihr nicht wieder dafür gibt es in der Nähe deutliche bessere Qualität.

Absolut o.k. Normale Landestypische Speisen in netter Atmosphäre bei sehr freundlichem Service. Zu Stosszeiten muss mit längerer Wartezeit grechnet Werden. Inventar recht übersichtlich.

Cool in Baumberg Füchschen! Sehr lecker. Besser als Kölsch 😁 Das Essen ist einfach lecker. Griechisch halt. Sehr gut. Die Bedienung ist ebenfalls sehr nett und aufmerksam. Die Preise sind wirklich OK. Lange Rede kurzer Sinn; sehr empfehlenswert. Man muss nicht weit weg, wenn das Gute so nah liegt! Immer wieder zu empfehlen❗️

Nach unserem Urlaub mussten wir mal wieder lecker griechisch essen! Bei Linda im Dionysos im Rheinischen Hof war es wieder sehr lecker!
