Good food, large selection, decent portions. BUT: The service is sometimes very slow, and ouzo is only served sporadically afterward, averaging once out of every five meals. This year (2025) the service has significantly declined compared to last year. Even tipping 10 percent doesn't help—there's still nothing.

We visited the restaurant for the first time last Sunday. Very positive experience, very good service, very good food, very good value for money. Highly recommended. We will definitely be back.

Excellent Greek cuisine and atmosphere. The menu allows everyone to find what they are looking for: There are traditional Greek dishes but also plates adapted to German tastes with different grilled and tasty meats. Don't forget the desserts for those who still have a little room because the plates are generous. The quality is there and the decor as well as the music help you have a great time.

Food absolutely TOP. I think €8 for 11 small pepperoni as a starter is completely overpriced, but that's "normal" almost everywhere these days. The plates are very generously filled and the meat and side dishes all tasted very good. What was an absolute disaster was the volume in the large room. We ate quickly, had a drink each and immediately paid and left. This is really very difficult to endure.

Unfortunately in my experience the food was terrible and I will definitely not be coming here again. My friend and I had dinner here. We ordered “chicken skewers” ​​and “Bifteki”. While eating, I went to the bathroom because I felt sick and vomited. I told the problem to the restaurant manager (who was cooking in the kitchen with her hair down and putting the food on the plates without gloves or cooking utensils and cleaning her hands from the grease from the food on the apron she was wearing) and she offered me one Voucher with a free meal which I didn't need at all. I asked for the bill and had to pay everything even though I was sick after eating the meat dish. After that evening my friend had constant severe stomach pains but within two days he was fine again. It was worse for me, I couldn't eat or drink water at all because I was vomiting, after which I had to go to the hospital urgently and was immediately admitted to the hospital, where the results of the blood tests showed that I had food poisoning. After everything that happened, I called the restaurant and the restaurant manager informed that I was in the hospital due to the incident that had happened in her restaurant a few evenings before and I asked her how we can resolve this issue amicably could and she started laughing and claimed that I was lying. The main thing is to collect the €60 for the meal, because the lives of the guests don't count. This time I was the victim and I was worse off than ever in my life, next time it could be a child or an elderly person. If it were possible I would give minus stars.

We haven't been here for a long time because we weren't impressed last time. We got lost here again today. We were positively surprised by the food. It was very tasty. Unfortunately the service wasn't what it should be. The service was probably very friendly. However, the glasses were empty for a long time and we had to wait almost 10 minutes for the dessert menu. We also got up twice ourselves to go to the waitress because no one came. Therefore there are deductions for the service. It was still worth coming here just for the food.

The four of us were there shortly before closing time and asked if we could get anything else. The staff offered us everything from the grill. We were served very quickly and were all very enthusiastic about the atmosphere and the service. The food came quickly and tasted very good. We were back in Achern after an absence of 30 years and were very pleased that our favorite Greek Dionysus was still there. And we were pleased to see that the service and food are still as great as they were 30 years ago. As soon as we move back to our old home, we will regularly let ourselves be pampered at Dionysos.

So with all my love, that was the worst service of my life. The young man took everything from taking the wrong order to the wrong invoice in the end. Starters and salads are also really reasonably priced. Main course was fair.

Everything really fits there, all the Greeks from Lahr to Achern have been through it and this is our favorite, very tasty, the price is also right, portions are generous, without having any problems afterwards. 🙈, which we had more often, somewhere else.. (quick Otto) 🤣. The service is very good, of course friendly, accommodating. The atmosphere is so beautiful, you really feel like you're in Greece. We will come more often. 😊👌

We ate here again 7 times. The food is sometimes quite greasy, which was also complained about by a few others. Although there were differences here. With the same dishes, some were fatty and some were not. The salad wasn't great either, the salad dressing tasted a bit bland. The desert, however, was good. In addition, you sometimes don't see the staff for a long time, there were 20-30 minutes dry in between and some drinks weren't available (beer myth) even though it was still early in the evening. Unfortunately the taste is quite poor compared to before. Not a complete catastrophe, but I expect a lot more for the money. At least Uso got it on the house with the bill. I found that very thoughtful again.

Nine adults and one child on Shrove Tuesday in a packed place Restaurant and still very good service and good to very good food. You have to get that done first. Everyone was very happy and if I am in Achern again, I will definitely visit this restaurant again.

I've been thinking for a while now about whether I should comment on this at all. However, I am of the opinion that you can't do it better if you don't know. This used to be the shop we/I liked to go to and I forgot why I hadn't been there for a long time, but today I was taught better again. Dear employees, service is the be-all and end-all and if that is not the case, then nothing else is of any use! We were given a place that wasn't ideal, as we were constantly drawn through the open door. When we asked about another place, we were told "yes, that's because the door was open." We weren't moved despite there being free places ! Our daughter then regularly closed the door… The food was OK! In the past you got a Uso, today you don't... at least we don't, others do! So there is a difference being made. When we got the bill, I noticed that the prices on the menu didn't match... When I asked the waitress about it, all I got was a mushy answer saying what a problem I had and that it was still the old card... so I turned around and left! It's a shame because the boss is a great woman and her brother, who is probably no longer there, did it with heart. I'm sorry, but we're not coming anymore!

I knew this restaurant as very good. We had lunch here the other day. It was very cold in the restaurant, the waitress was wearing a jacket but was very friendly. Unfortunately the food wasn't good. The gyros were partly raw, which the waitress noticed when clearing away but didn't say a word of apology. Overall, we won't go here anymore, there are too many very good Greeks in the area...

Was with a friend for his birthday, the food is very tasty, rice, vegetables, various meat skewers, all served without any unnecessary lettuce leaf decoration, particularly praiseworthy, the very young man who served the drinks perfectly, we wanted to stay, but that was completely okay There are (!!!) at the next table 2 families with children, in the evening after 8 p.m. it was a bit too restless for us because the children and parents were constantly on the move, as I said, it's not a problem, but after a week you're looking for a lot of work peace and quiet and maybe next time we'll have a quiet, chilled evening here. Would love to come back and highly recommended!!!

Da ich beruflich in Achern unterwegs war und in der Mittagspause Hunger hatte, gab es ein Gyros-Menü - leider nur zum Mitnehmen, da ich ein wenig unter Zeitdruck stand, aber es war sooooo lecker! 😍🍽️🍟🇬🇷 Wenn ich wieder in der Gegend bin, komme ich auf jeden Fall wieder 👍 Engelige Flüschelbüschelgrüße aus Heidelberg 💞 und pollous chairetismous 😀

Bestellt wurde telefonisch zur Abholung, die wirklich sehr nette Dame am Telefon kannte weder die Speisekarte noch die zugehörigen Nummern (für die Kasse) und musste vieles umständlich in der Küche mit der „Chefin“ klären. Auch beim Abholen war gefühlt keinem so recht klar, was ich bestellt hatte (eigentlich kein Hexenwerk: nen Salat, Hellas-Teller und Pommes) und wieviel das dann kostet. Das Essen selbst war leider eine totale Enttäuschung: ein kleiner Kleks Tzatziki, die Hacksteaks tot gebraten, knochentrocken und kein bischen gewürzt, der Paprika Reis fad und geschmacklos, beim Gourmet Teller ist die Rede von Oliven, gefunden habe wir tatsächlich eine einzige, Fertig-Mix-Salat und eine verdünnte Fertigsoße. Bin eigentlich echt nicht kleinlich aber hier war ich echt enttäuscht, werde hier nicht mehr bestellen.

Leckeres Essen und tolles Ambiente. Wir waren die letzten Gäste, dennoch wurden wir bis zum Schluss gut umsorgt. Das Dionysos bietet sehr viel Platz, die Räume sind authentisch griechisch eingerichtet. Man kann auch Extra-Soßen dazu bestellen.

Nach einigen Jahren, und damaliger nicht so guter Erfahrung, habe ich mich breit schlagen lassen es, aufgrund vieler positiver Berichte, wieder zu versuchen und wurde absolut nicht enttäuscht. Die Erwartungen wurden bei weitem übertroffen. Vorspeise und Hauptgang waren nahezu perfekt gewürzt, die Teigtaschen selber gemacht, sehr freundliche Bedienung. Auch das Pitabrot, was ich leider nicht komplett geschafft habe, hat toll geschmeckt. Ich werde wieder öfters dorthin gehen. Daumen hoch!!

Absolut nicht zu empfehlen. Haben über 1 Stunde auf das Essen warten müssen. Nachdem das angesprochen wurde, ist der Bediener sehr Respektlos geworden.

Leider, leider war ich nun als ehemaliger Stammkunde samt meiner Familie maximal enttäuscht. Vor ca. 2 Wochen waren wir dort zu viert zum Abendessen. - Ultralange Wartezeit - Im Innenraum wegen etwas kalten Temperaturen und etwas veschnupft zeitnah vorbestellt. Innen war aber Nichts gedeckt, es wurde für uns trotz Anfrage nicht eingedeckt und wir wurden raus gesetzt. - Essen und Trinken bestellt erst nach mehrfacher Aufforderung der überforderten Bedienung. Diese wurde später auch mangelhaft ersetzt. - Essen war vollkommen durchgebraten, zäh und absolut ungenügend gewürzt. Nur Salz war im Überfluss vorhanden. - Später kommende Gäste wurden vor uns bedient - Nach Anfrage zum Dessert kam die Karte erst verzögert - Bei Reklamation zum desolaten Zustand wurde die Chefin definitiv von der Bedienung informiert. Diese kam dann nicht einmal zu uns. Dabei kennt sie uns seit Jahren recht gut. - Wir gingen enttäuscht ohne Dessert und waren definitiv zum letzten Mal hier. Das Restaurant wurde von uns in den letzten Jahren immer wieder besucht und wir sind sehr gerne hin gegangen. Ich hoffe, das weitere Gäste den Mangelzustand offen und direkt ansprechen. Sonst wird der Laden unaufweigerlich zu Grunde gehen. Sehr, sehr Schade.

Nachtrag vom 12.09.2023: Gestern wurde ich Teil des Kommunikationsdilemmas. Und habe daher nach einem Schluck Wein das Lokal verlassen. Vielleicht hatte ich sogar Anteil am Missverständnis. Nicht hinnehmbar ist der Umgang mit Kunden. Kritik ist nicht erwünscht und wird als „Ärger machen“ eingestuft. Kunde ist König - hä ? Was gar nicht geht: ich bin heute in einem anderen Restaurant vom Kellner dieses Griechen übelst beleidigt worden ‚A***h‘ und ‚W***r‘. Soweit zur griechischen Gastfreundschaft … Der Service bekommt daher Null Sterne, das Essen bleibt bei fünf - beste Moussaka weit und breit. Fazit: fahrt nach Bühl, Bühlertal oder Hügelsheim um Euch ‚beim Griechen’ wohl zu fühlen ! ————————— Ich war gestern, Freitag Abend dort. Das Essen war 1a, der Service sehr bemüht. Das Ambiente draußen ist einfach rustikal, drinnen griechisch schick. Ich hatte gegrillte Peperoni (super, aber zu teuer), und einen griechischen Teller (super lecker, große Portion, angemessener Preis). Die extra Portion Zwiebeln wurde nicht berechnet. Jetzt zum Aber: mein zweites Bier kam mit großer Verspätung nach der Hauptspeise. Ich habe 37€ ausgegeben, aber es gab nicht einmal einen Ouzo ‚auf Haus‘. Es gab mindestens zwei Tische in meinem Umfeld, die besetzt waren als ich ankam, jedoch das Essen erst bekamen als ich schon fertig war. Generell scheint es ein Kommunikationsproblem zu geben: von Bedienung zu Theke und Küche, aber auch zu den Gästen. Hinweise zu Wartezeiten wären sehr wünschenswert - 15 Min. auf ein Getränk und 45 Min.+ auf das Essen zu warten sind so nicht akzeptabel.

Wartezeit 45 min für die Bestellung zum abholen. Dann über 30 min zusätzlich vor Ort warten müssen. Zu Hause habe ich dann festgestellt, dass die Falschen Gerichte eingepackt wurden.

Sehr leckeres essen und überdurchschnittlich nette Bedienung 100 Punkte

Können wir leider nicht mehr empfehlen. Wir mussten ca. 20 Minuten auf die Speisekarte warten und nach weiteren 10 Minuten konnten wir erst die Getränke und das Essen bestellen. Die Getränke haben wir dann ca. nach 45 Minuten erhalten, den Salat als Vorspeise nach einer Stunde und 15 Minuten. Allerdings erst auf Nachfrage. Nach gut anderthalb Stunden haben wir dann das Essen etwas zeitverzögert bekommen, zuerst die Kinder, dann ich, dann meine Frau. An anderen Tischen könnten wir das gleiche beobachten. Die drei Kellner / Kellnerinnen waren maximal unkoordiniert, und wussten nicht an welchen Tisch welche Speisen und Getränke gehören. Wir waren früher öfters in diesem Restaurant, aber anscheinend hat der Besitzer gewechselt. Anders kann ich mir dieses Desaster leider nicht erklären. Das Essen war "okay" - hätten wir zu Hause, aber mindestens genauso gut hinbekommen, in Relation zu dem aber gehobenen Preis hätte aber mehr kommen müssen.

Ich war sehr überrascht über die hervorragende Qualität der Speisen und Getränke. Das Ambiente ist sehr groß, hell und freundlich eingerichtet, hier kann man wunderbar entspannen und bei einem sehr guten Essen, sich zu einem Glas Wein 🍷 oder Bier 🍺 gut gehen lassen. Auch der großzügige Aussenberich ist sehr schön gestaltet .Der Kaffee ☕️ und die kleinen Schokolade 🍫 Kuchen 🎂 waren lecker 😋 😋 😋 auch ist die Auswahl an verschiedenen Speisen und vegetarischen Gerichte sehr gut 👍 das Personal wer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit sowie immer auf der Höhe, perfekt 👍es war ein wunderschöner Abend an einem wunderschönen Ort, jederzeit wieder 🤗🤗🤗 viel herzlichen Dank 👍🤗🤗🤗🤗

Très bonne cuisine grecque ! Les viandes grillées sont excellentes, les légumes frais. J'ai beaucoup apprécié de retrouver mon dessert grec favori : le galaktoboureko. Je vous recommande ce restaurant pour passer un super moment comme si vous étiez en Grèce.

Excellente cuisine et ambiance grecque. Le menu permet à chacun de trouver son bonheur. On trouve des plats traditionnels grecs mais aussi des assiettes adaptées au goût des Allemands avec différentes viandes grillées et savoureuses. Ne pas oublier les desserts qui sont excellents, pour ceux qui auront encore une petite place car les assiettes sont généreuses. La qualité est au rendez-vous et le décor contribue à vous faire passer un très bon moment.

Das Essen ist sehr lecker. Allerdings war mein Beilagensalat zu stark gesalzen. Getränke wurden zwischendurch vergessen, als Entschuldigung gab es dafür eine extra Portion Ouzo. Die Bedienungen wirken etwas überfordert, schlecht organisiert. Aber sind sehr nett und versuchen alle Wünsche zu erfüllen. Würde gerne nur einen halben Stern abziehen, leider ist das auf diesem Portal nicht möglich.

Sorry aber keine Tische abgewaschen im außen Bereich. Hatte ein Gourmet Salat da fehlten die Eier und für 15 Euro kann man ein klein mehr Salat erwarten .... Service kann man auch vergessen.. War leider das letzte mal da zum essen

Wir waren mit 4 Personen zum Abendessen dort und jeder war begeistert. Die gemischten Vorspeiseplatten waren weltklasse, große Auswahl, alles frisch und lecker. Zum Hauptgang hatte ich einen Grillteller mit Gyros, Kalamari und Pommes. Schöner Biergarten, Service war freundlich und schnell, wir kommen gerne wieder. Die schlechten Bewertungen kann ich nicht nachvollziehen.

Dionysos - wohlbekannt unter anderem als der Gott der Illusion… Unser Besuch - wir hatten reserviert - war ein Fiasko sondergleichen. Schon der angebotene Platz war der, den es in jedem Restaurant gibt, den aber keiner haben will. Nun gut, davon wird noch kein Restaurantbesuch schlecht. Es war aber bereits das Wollknäuel mit dem roten Faden an uns übergeben worden. Wir nahmen Platz am Tisch daneben, denn der reservierte war inakzeptabel. Da hier aber nur 3 Stühle standen war ein vierter erforderlich. Dieser wurde dann noch gefunden, denn der zuerst angebotene passte weder optisch noch höhentechnisch. Wir nahmen Platz. Kurze Zeit darauf fragte man uns, was wir trinken wollten, hatten aber noch keine Karte bekommen. Karten bekommen, Getränke bestellt, Essen gewählt. Getränke kamen, Essen bestellt. Für gewöhnlich und bei den Preisen sowieso, hatte ich eigentlich den typischen Gruß aus der Küche erwartet…leider kam dieser nicht. Schade! Ich hatte Durst und orderte beim Vorbeilaufen einer Bedienung ein zweites Radler. Das kam dann auch, wenn auch überraschend und gewaltig von links auf den Tisch gerumst. Das Essen war dann auch bald da. Wir hatten unterschiedlich bestellt. Ich hatte mich für den Spieß Schweinefilet mit griechischem Käse überbacken, Tomatenreis und Pommes mit Salat entschieden. Optisch recht ansprechend, kam doch rasch die Ernüchterung. Das Fleisch, kein Filet und trocken-faserig noch dazu. Die Pommes hatten ihren Bestzustand bereits hinter sich, der Käse kam aus Holland und Salz war wohl gerade im Angebot… Der Reis war das einzig Leckere an der griechischen Tragödie. Meine Mit-Esser waren teils zufrieden, teils über die Qualität ihres Essens aber auch nicht wirklich erfreut. An einem Nachbartisch indes - dort saßen etwa 8 Personen - wurde es etwas lebhafter untereinander aber auch mit der Bedienung. Als wir denn fertig waren - ich habe, bis auf den Reis und wenige Bissen, meinen Teller bestückt zurückgehen lassen - wurde es nicht besser. Vom Nachbartisch mitbekommen, dass dort wohl ähnliche Defizite am Essen bemängelt wurden und sich ein Gast wohl auch auf der Toilette überraschend und heftig erleichtert hatte, wurden wir wegen unserer Zufriedenheit denn auch gelangweilt gefragt. Ich teilte bestimmt, aber höflich mein Erlebnis mit, ebenso, dass es inakzeptabel wäre, Schnitzelfleisch als Filet auszugeben. Keine Reaktion. Wir teilten den Wunsch des Bezahlens mit. Keine Reaktion. Wir wiederholten den Wunsch noch weitere Male mit gleichem bzw. immer nur mit dem Erfolg, dass wir die Rechnung gleich erhalten würden. So verging eine halbe Stunde. Da ich zu diesem Zeitpunkt schon recht gar war, bat ich meine Frau, den Vorgang mit meinem Geldbeutel doch durch Zugehen auf die Bedienung final zu bearbeiten. Die Mannschaft am Nachbartisch war indes aufgebrochen. Auch hier durfte sie erst warten und erhielt dann von der sich mit anderen unterhaltenden Bedienung einen Rechnungsbon in die Hand gedrückt. Das von ihrer Mutter und mir bemerkt, stand ich auf, Ging zu meiner Frau und nahm den Bon in die Hand. Ich nahm den Bon in Augenschein und stellte fest, dass man uns einen total falschen zur Begleichung gereicht hatte. Der Bedienung den Bon gezeigt und vor ihren Augen zerrissen bat ich um unseren Bon, alternativ könne Sie meine Adresse für die Zusendung der Rechnung auch haben, da wir der vergeudeten Zeit und des miesen Services überdrüssig seien. Sie erwiderte, es gäbe keine Rechnung und ich soll ihr, da meine Stimme sich entsprechend lauter und schärfer werdend darbot, ins Restaurantinnere folgen, was ich ablehnte… Sie ging und ließ uns stehen. Einer anderen Bedienung teilte ich mit, die verschwundene Frau möge doch alsbald sich nebst Rechnung wieder nach draußen begeben. Nun ergriffen meine Frau und ihre Schwester die Initiative und gingen hinein…wo es dann nicht minder abgekühlter zuging als draußen. Endlich erhielten wir unsere Rechnung, durften uns noch Gehässigkeiten anhören, zahlten und gingen. Der Nachbartisch ging zuvor, ohne Zahlung. 08.06.2023

Wurden schnell bedient und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt 😊 Das Essen war super!

Wir kommen immer wieder gerne hier her. Das Essen war,wie immer, sehr lecker. Das Personal ausnehmend freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Alles bestens, komme gerne wider, nur wenn man bezahlen will muss man, locker nochmal 20 min warten bis jemand endlich kommt einziger minus. Glaube es kapiert immer nur eine bestimmte person deswegen lange Wartezeiten als.

BLEIBT WEG!!! Essen war einigermaßen lecker (viel Salz) aber... Wir mussten ewig warten bis wir endlich Nachtisch bekommen haben... Wir waren Abends da, reserviert um 18:40!! Sind um 22:30 erst raus mit 3 Kinder weil wir ewig warten mussten bis wir endlich zahlen könnten... erst musste die Zigarette geraucht werden... Personal war unfreundlich mal hat sich echt nicht wohl gefühlt. Schade. Wir waren zum Teil Franzosen am Tisch und die Chefin sagte uns "hier sind wir in Deutschland und sprechen deutsch" doch beherrschte selbst nicht die deutsche Sprache!!! Seeeeehr unfreundlich!! Ist sich leider keine Schuld bewusst!

Énormément de mouches pendant le repas et le restaurant ne fait rien contre. Pas mal d'attente mais surtout au moment de payer une attente interminable, alors que nous voulions juste partir, le personnel à été incapable de divisé la note par 10.... Un manque cruel de professionnalisme. Et surtout au bout de plus de 30mins d'attente ( pour payer) la patronne est devenue irrespectueuse au lieu d'aider les pauvres serveurs qui faisaient de leurs mieux ... A noter que nous avons pu enfin payer car je suis allé chercher la patronne à table entrain de fumer, et après une engueulade.... désolé mais avec 3 enfants en bas âge à plus de 22h 30 en étant arrivé à 18h45....

Une catastrophe, restaurant à éviter. La nourriture est correct mais le service d'une incompétence inqualifiable ! Après plusieurs ratés dans les commandes et un service extrêmement long (3h), serveur et serveuse incapable de diviser une addition sans l'aide de la chef qui elle même ne sait pas compter. 3 aller retour de ladite responsable pour finalement se faire traiter de manière grossière. Sans doute le fait de l'avoir déranger en train de fumer sa cigarette qui en fût la cause...
