When we are in Saarbrücken we always go to the diner to eat something. But today it's the last time, sorry, portions have become extremely small and the boss prefers to fiddle with his waitress rather than serve.

I strongly advise against this restaurant! Disgusting, no other words. Only a + to the service because very professional. Concerning cleanliness, a 0 and I find that it is a very good score 0! Above all, avoid the burger if you don't want to die prematurely.

I was excited to visit based on the rating. Nice atmosphere. Service was good. However, the food was just terrible! I had pesto pasta and it felt like they mixed a little bit of pesto and a lot of oil. And no seasoning what so ever. I would say pricy for the portion. i was just nauseous the whole drive back to Germany.

Spaghetti cooked too soft... Sauce very boring, rarely experienced…had to add a lot of pepper, salt plus hot oil….. Service very nice and attentive...

Were there yesterday with about 12 people. Disaster! After waiting for 30 minutes, we had to call the waiter to finally order drinks...The service was totally disorganized and overwhelmed! The burger I ordered was okay, the fries were cold and not crispy, rather limp! Everyone at the table said that too when I was clearing away, no reaction! It's well known that the fries are bad... The visit was rather disappointing...Not recommended! 👎😖

The service was quite quick. Unfortunately, the cannelloni with minced meat filling that I ordered was very soggy and everything only tasted slightly of tomato sauce but nothing else. Schade was otherwise quite satisfied.

We were there yesterday and can report a great price-performance ratio. We ate a veal schnitzel with fried potatoes, a pizza ala chef as well as pasta and, as a children's dish, fries with nuggets. Everything was freshly prepared. The waiter was very nice and everything took place in a very cozy atmosphere. We would definitely come back again!

I put 1 star because there is nothing lower... The service is not great the dishes received at the table did not correspond to the order I asked for pasta as an accompaniment I got fries forced to call the waiter back...the pasta was barely cooked and things were missing from the burger and drowned in sauce...And in the end they wanted to make us pay for an extra drink that we hadn't ordered. Frankly disappointed to flee.

Perfect, the food was excellent and the staff very friendly. Special mention to the waiter who spoke French and who immediately put me at ease!

Super friendly restaurant. If we are in Saarbrücken again, we will definitely come back here!!! For the quality of the food, the price-performance is top! The paste is homemade and the steak is the burner! The staff is quick, friendly and very easy to get along with. Also child-friendly, from what I noticed. They respond to wishes. You can watch the preparation of individual dishes.

I ordered a pizza parma. And the Parma ham was turkey meat. When I asked, I was told that they don't carry pork. As an Italian, no further comment about it. Simply ridiculous. Then open a kebab shop. Yes, her name is Grudo. And it says Parma on it. Ask the waiter with the AirPods in his ear. And something else. If they put on something Italian. Then please do it correctly. If you want to avoid pork "ham". Then it shouldn't be an Italian dinner either. Turkey as an alternative to Parma ham. 🤣 My grandma would turn in her grave. But how should they know that? You think that's something normal. They don't have Italians as customers that's for sure. 🤣

For a diner more than you can expect! It was really very good. The staff was friendly, the food was good and the atmosphere was upscale. Really surprisingly good! See you soon

Dishes: 0/10. Hygiene: 0/10. The dishes are horrible, you eat better in a school canteen. Strong presence of midges which make the experience really unpleasant. The floors are so greasy that you could risk falling. I strongly advise against it!

The food was really bad, didn't taste good at all. Don't understand the good reviews. And I also found the service catastrophic. There really isn't a single reason to go here again...

The food was unsalted, when we brought this up it was said that they no longer salt the food since a customer complained. I had a cream schnitzel (the chicken tasted like rubber) and a mushroom cream soup that only tasted like cream and was unseasoned. So the high prices for such bad food.

Unfortunately something went wrong during our visit... We arrived and had free choice of seats. They took our order and then... nothing happened. We sat outside for 1 hour and they forgot our order. It wasn't until the waiter came around and asked "Was the food OK?" I had to tell him that we hadn't received the food yet. The food was then quickly put on the table for us. It gets even better: My pizza was already cut into squares and made available for the employees to snack on. I fixed this on the missing corner. I actually got the pizza served like that (SEE PICTURES!) This has never happened to me. I pointed this out to the waitress and I was quickly served a new pizza. We weren't asked if we wanted to order anything else. Payment: I paid by card and rounded the amount up to 20 euros (it was a mistake, I know). I was then charged 21 euros on the card statement. The new pizza tasted good, yes, but everything around it just wasn't right. The staff constantly walked around with headphones in their ears? Why?

I ordered pizza with Parma ham and got thick slices of cooked ham. When I asked, I was told that there was no Parma ham. I then ordered a salami pizza, what can I say, it tasted just as terrible. Just fatty and not seasoned at all. All in all, not recommended given the prices. The waiter was super nice.

The food, the service, the quality cannot be beaten, special requests are responded to promptly and in a very friendly manner at no extra charge, this is how gastronomy should and must be, and everyone has a great time!

We were treated very courteously and friendly. The food was excellent and so filling that we unfortunately had to forego the pleasure of dessert. The homemade pasta in particular is highly recommended. What goes hand in hand with the concept of a diner in a busy pedestrian zone: it's not quiet here. But as I said, it's in the nature of things.

A very expensive restaurant that has little in common with Italy. I ordered a pizza with prosciutto and arugula. I asked for these ingredients to be fresh on the pizza, after frying. I got cooked ham (which wasn't prosciutto) and arugula. One of the weakest pizzas I've ever eaten.

Large portions, very tasty. There was even a side salad and bread, top value for money, top taste. Friendly. It's nice to sit under the plane trees outside the Europagalerie. We'll be back! Recommendation sea bream with tagliatelle (regular menu this week)

Been in Germany a week and this was the best meal I’ve had. Had the Sicilian Schnitzel with potatoes. Beautiful. The picture I took doesn’t do it justice.

We ate here recently and I have to say that nothing worked out. The staff was totally overwhelmed, friendliness, well, a smile was missing from various staff. The food wasn't good at all. Pizza dough didn't work at all, it didn't taste like anything. The Bruger too. Anything but delicious. What's more, we had to wait a long time for our drinks. The bureger was served at the table too early and the pizza 15-20 minutes late. I can't recommend this restaurant at all.

This restaurant does not offer an appealing menu for vegetarians and especially vegans as well as guests who do not consume alcohol. Menu is tiring and chaotic due to the overwhelming variety of dishes. A potpourri without a recognizable culinary line, which includes all the classics: Greek dishes such as gratinated feta, enchiladas, burritos, burgers, pizza, pasta, schnitzel, potato pancakes, steaks, tarte flambée... Only Asian wok dishes are missing to complete the spectrum. The craftsmanship of the dishes leaves a lot to be desired. The existing stone oven initially raises hopes for authentic Italian pizza, but disappoints with a "house style freestyle pizza" that is not convincing. This reinforces the impression that the focus here is on quantity rather than quality. The ambience of the restaurant is attractive, but the tables and chairs are placed far too closely together, which significantly affects the comfort.

Absolutely catastrophic... We had lunch there today, which we would have preferred to save. My friend's pasta only tasted like Maggi and the noodles were still very hard. I had a pizza put together and when it arrived it had ham on it, although I never mentioned ham because I don't eat it. Then we first had to argue with the waitress, but then a new pizza was brought to me. However, the taste was absolutely not good. The dough tasted like new electrical appliances smell and the pizza felt like it only consisted of oil. In general the food tasted like it was bad. After eating I didn't feel well at all, I had a real stomach ache and I felt really nauseous. I really can't understand the good reviews...

May 6, 2024: Only as an emergency solution. Unacceptable. Prices expensive, burgers small like McDonald's. Wanted to know what a Panache beer is, what a Monaco beer is. Both are on the menu, the waitress had to ask. Couldn't tell the tables apart so brought the wrong drinks. The floor is sticky, as if it has just been swept but not weighed down. Same in the toilets.

I went with 2 friends to this restaurant for lunch, the welcome was limited, we were sent to 3 different people before being able to sit down, once seated we asked if a menu in French existed but the lady told us made it clear that she didn't understand and left. On the ground, a few centimeters away a large half-dead cockroach was moving, I called someone to ask them to remove it but they didn't try to understand and told me again that they don't understand... too much for We left without taking the risk of eating in a restaurant where a cockroach is present in the dining room. I therefore absolutely do not recommend this place for the welcome and hygiene.

We had dinner at the diner in Saarbrücken with a large team of around 60 people and we were thrilled! Despite the large group and the challenge of everyone ordering à la carte, everything went smoothly and extremely satisfactorily. The quality of the food was good and the professionalism of the service was outstanding. A great chef de service had everything under control. A special thank you goes to the entire team, who made our evening special with their attentive and friendly manner. We can recommend the diner to anyone who values ​​good service at a fair price.
