At the end of November, we held a birthday party there with approximately 50 guests. The restaurant's tenant, Mr. Pohlig, was very accommodating and supported us in every way during the preparations for the celebration. The location is beautiful and offered plenty of space for live music, dancing, and ample seating for all guests. The buffet, which we were able to put together ourselves based on Mr. Pohlig's suggestions, left nothing to be desired and was highly praised by all guests. All dishes were prepared on-site by Mr. Pohlig. An excellent selection of wines and beers was offered to complement the meal. We were also more than satisfied with the value for money.

Everything was fine. Friendly service, no complaints.

Dear "Die Ruhlach" team, I would like to contact you today with a complaint regarding my visit to your restaurant. Before placing my order, I specifically asked if I could redeem a mobile voucher. This was confirmed. However, the manager was subsequently unable to accept the voucher. For this reason, I had to pay the full price. After complaining, I left my phone number in the hope of being contacted for clarification. Unfortunately, I have not received any response so far. According to the organizer, your staff have been trained and I should be able to redeem the voucher again. However, the wait times for food at your restaurant are enormous, so I do not intend to dine here again. Additionally, the manager promised to contact me and arrange a refund if necessary. Unfortunately, I have not received a call or any other contact. I am disappointed by this lack of customer service and communication. As a long-time customer, I have always had good experiences, but this incident has shaken my confidence.

Absolute disaster, unreliable, unfriendly, and old food. Stay away from this "restaurant"!

A complete disaster!!!! We were invited to a communion celebration. Nothing that had been agreed upon with the owner several times beforehand was honored. We had to get our own drinks and glasses from the bar. The table wasn't set when we arrived. I've never experienced such disorganization before. The agreed-upon menu was forgotten by the owner. What was supposed to be a cheese platter for the appetizer turned into stale, dry bread with disgusting olives and dip. Luckily, we didn't get to the main course because we left and went to another restaurant. Never again!!!!

We were invited to a First Communion celebration at a restaurant in Rulach today. When we arrived, the owner greeted us rather rudely. After we explained that we were part of a group, he went into the restaurant without a word (wearing sweatpants and looking quite unkempt; we thought he was the janitor 😂). Appetizer platters with bread had been ordered beforehand, but the owner forgot them 🤷🏼‍♀️, these things happen. We had to get our own drinks, glasses (which were covered in fingerprints), cutlery, plates, etc., from the bar! This is what you call a First Communion celebration! After the father of the child receiving Communion asked for the agreed-upon menu, the owner remembered he had forgotten it too and asked his waitress to quickly write one by hand. That was the last straw for the host. The Communion celebration was ruined! The child said goodbye to us all in great disappointment. What a wonderful day! The whole group will remember this for a long time!

Leckeres hausgemachtes Essen und wirklich gute Getränke. Der Wirt war heute alleine, war gar kein Problem, sehr nett und aufmerksam, wir kommen bald wieder

Es wurde groß ein Halloween Grillen angesagt, mit Schreckenskammer Bier und Bergischem Landbier vom Faß. Dazu Krustenbraten , Burger und Würstchen vom Grill. Ich sag nur, gut, dass wir vorher gegessen haben. Bier hat es leider gar nicht gegeben, da eine Bedienung für ca 100 Leute eingeplant war. Wir sind dann unverrichteterdinge weitergezogen. Nach dem Spaziergang dahin und wieder zurück war ich dann tatsächlich sehr schlecht gelaunt, wahrscheinlich wie der Wirt und die Leute, die weder eine Sitzgelegenheit noch etwas zu Trinken bekommen haben. Sehr schade, ich komme NICHT wieder.
