The shop is currently closed. Hopefully a good landlord will come in there now.

At the end of November we held a birthday party there with around 50 guests. The restaurant tenant, Mr. Pohlig, was very accommodating and supported us in every way with the preparations for the celebration. The location is beautiful and offered enough space for live music, dancing and spacious seating for all guests. The buffet, which we were able to put together ourselves based on suggestions from Mr. Pohlig, left nothing to be desired and was highly praised by all guests. All dishes were prepared directly on site by Mr. Pohlig. An excellent selection of wines and beers was also offered. We were also more than satisfied with the price/performance ratio.

Everything OK. Nice service, no complaints.

Dear “Die Ruhlach” team, I would like to contact you today with a complaint regarding my visit to your restaurant. Before placing my order, I explicitly asked whether I could redeem a mobile voucher. This was confirmed to me. However, the boss was subsequently unable to accept the voucher. For this reason I had to pay full price. After I complained, I left my phone number in hopes of being contacted for clarification. Unfortunately, I haven't received any feedback so far. According to the organizer, your employees have been trained and I should be able to redeem the voucher again. However, the waiting times for food in your restaurant are enormous, so I don't want to dine here again. In addition, the boss had promised to contact me and arrange a refund of my money if necessary. Unfortunately, I have not received a call or any other contact. I am disappointed with this lack of customer service and communication. As a long-time customer, I have always had good experiences, but this incident has shaken my trust.

Absolute disaster, unreliable, unfriendly and old food. Just stay away from this “restaurant”!

The purest catastrophe!!!! We were invited to a communion party. Nothing that was agreed upon with the landlord several times in advance was followed. You had to get drinks and glasses yourself at the counter. The table wasn't set when we arrived. I have never experienced anything so disorganized before. The agreed card was forgotten by the landlord. A cheese plate as a starter turned into old, dry bread with disgusting olives and dip. To Luckily there was no main course because we ended the whole thing and went to another restaurant. Never again !!!!

Today we were invited to a communion in the Rulach restaurant, when we arrived we were initially spoken to harshly by the innkeeper. After we explained to him that we belonged to a group here, he went into the restaurant without comment (in jogging pants, pretty unkempt , we thought it was the caretaker 😂)….starter platters with bread were ordered in advance…the landlord forgot 🤷🏼‍♀️ yes happen...drinks, glasses (which were full of fingerprints), cutlery, plates, etc. we had to get ourselves from the counter!!! This is how you imagine a communion!!! After the father of the communion child asked for the agreed menu, the host remembered that he had forgotten it too and asked his waitress to quickly write one by hand...then the host had enough...communion party ruined!!!! The child said goodbye to us all with great disappointment...what a great day, the whole company will remember it for a long time!!!!

Leckeres hausgemachtes Essen und wirklich gute Getränke. Der Wirt war heute alleine, war gar kein Problem, sehr nett und aufmerksam, wir kommen bald wieder

Es wurde groß ein Halloween Grillen angesagt, mit Schreckenskammer Bier und Bergischem Landbier vom Faß. Dazu Krustenbraten , Burger und Würstchen vom Grill. Ich sag nur, gut, dass wir vorher gegessen haben. Bier hat es leider gar nicht gegeben, da eine Bedienung für ca 100 Leute eingeplant war. Wir sind dann unverrichteterdinge weitergezogen. Nach dem Spaziergang dahin und wieder zurück war ich dann tatsächlich sehr schlecht gelaunt, wahrscheinlich wie der Wirt und die Leute, die weder eine Sitzgelegenheit noch etwas zu Trinken bekommen haben. Sehr schade, ich komme NICHT wieder.
