Es war so lecker, der Service war klasse. Wir saßen im Garten, da war es voll schön. So gerne wieder, aber leider wohnen wir zu weit weg. Lg aus Bayern

Reservieren is wichtig , das Essen is sehr lecker und eine wundervolle Atmosphäre

Sehr gute italienische Küche. Aber Stühle im Zwischengang stehen zu eng, so dass manchmal das Durchkommen schwierig ist bei vollem Haus.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Abend zu zweit. Das Essen war perfekt und auch der Service ließ keine Wünsche offen. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Ein sehr kleines Restaurant. Mit viel Liebe wird das Essen zubereitet. Es war sehr lecker. Leider komme ich nicht aus Solingen, sonst wäre ich da öfters.

Wir waren zu einer Familienfeier hier. Das Essen war sehr gut und das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend. Wir werden auch mal so hier essen gehen.

Zu Besuch in Solingen, Abendessen. Gegenüber vom Theater, direkt an der Hauptstraße. 2er-Tische, welche eine Modulare Gruppenanordnung zulassen. Vorspeise + Hauptgericht ausgesprochen gut, Pasta wird selbst gemacht; traditionelle italienische Küche, gut bürgerlich. Fleisch auf Punkt, würde, in Retrospektive, jedoch zu einem Pastagericht neigen. Service sehr gut, schnell, freundlich.

Sehr schöner kleiner Laden. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und man fühlt sich sehr wohl. Das Essen ist der Hammer.

Sehr leckeres Essen, selbstgemachte Nudeln, echte Cabonara, auf den Punkt gebrutzeltes Steak! Das Tiramisu wird in der Gruppe als ausgezeichnet beschrieben. Saisonalen Tageskarte.

Essen Qualität war gut, aber ohne zu begeistern. Habe ewig vor einem leeren Teller gesessen, bevor der Service sich aus seinen Gesprächen heraus bei mir abräumte. Offener Rotwein Pino Nero nicht vorhanden, Estrosa-Merlot schwach, der Nero Davola teuer 9,90€ und lecker. Interessante Nudel Gerichte! Auch wenn ich ein anderes, wie bestellt, bekommen habe. Einrichtung, gemütlich und hochwertig.

Es war ein toller Abend. Wir hatten einen Tisch reserviert. Aber unsere Freunde kamen später als geplant. Mit einem Anruf im Restaurant baten wir um eine Verschiebung der Uhrzeit. Dies stellte KEIN Problem dar. Das Essen war mega lecker, die Bedienung einfach nur klasse. Wir haben uns bestens aufgehoben gefühlt. Es passte alles! LIEBEN DANK !!

Top Italienische Küche in schöner Athmosphäre!

Gemütlichen Ambiente, und sehr tolles Essen

Schade! Leckeres Essen, aber unfreundliches Personal. Vor ein paar Jahren war ich bereits bei Di Vino essen – das Essen war super lecker und auch der Service vor Ort hat gestimmt. Im Frühjahr wollte ich nach meiner Brautkleidanprobe bei Brautliebe (direkt nebenan) mit meiner Trauzeugin dort anstoßen. Das Restaurant hatte zu diesem Zeitpunkt noch etwa eine Stunde geöffnet und es waren mehrere Tische frei. Wir fragten freundlich, ob wir lediglich einen Aperol trinken könnten. Leider bekamen wir eine sehr unfreundliche Antwort mit der Aussage, dass man dort nur zum Essen bleiben dürfe. Bei so vielen freien Tischen konnte ich diese Reaktion nicht nachvollziehen. Trotzdem wollten wir dem Restaurant im kommenden Jahr noch einmal eine Chance geben und reservierten nach einer weiteren Brautkleidanprobe einen Tisch für 6 Personen. Da nicht genau absehbar war, wie lange die Anprobe dauern würde, fragten wir nach einer Reservierung für 17:30 bzw. 18:00 Uhr. Auch hier wurde wieder sehr unfreundlich reagiert und gesagt, dass dies nicht möglich sei und lediglich eine Kulanz von 10 Minuten eingeräumt werde. Wohlgemerkt liegt der Brautkleidladen direkt nebenan. Schade, denn das Essen ist wirklich gut – aber Freundlichkeit und etwas Entgegenkommen scheinen hier leider nicht besonders wichtig zu sein.

Fangen wir erstmal mit dem wirklich guten an. Die Kellner und dem Fleisch. Die Kellner sind Aufmerksam und wirken den ganzen Abend nicht gehetzt. Das Fleisch schmeckt super und ist auch gut zubereitet. Leider ist das Lokal ziemlich kuschelig. Wenn man keine Angst hat mit unbekannten nah zusammen zu sitzen und in den Gängen immer seitlich gehen muss hat man kein Problem. Vielleicht bin ich zu deutsch/amerikanisch, aber ich mag gerne etwas Platz um mich rum. Die Zwiebelsoße war leider Geschmacklos, wobei da denn der Eigengeschmack des Fleisches besser heraus kam. Außerdem warum ist die Soße auf dem Fleisch. Vielleicht möchte ich ja ein Stück Fleisch auch mal ohne Soße essen. daneben reicht, oder rings rum, der Teller ist ja groß genug. Die beilagen kamen in einer extra Schale. Fazit: Ist das Steak da empfehlenswert? Definitiv! Sind die Kellner freundlich und sorgen dafür das ich mich wärend des Aufentalts wohl fühl? Auch ja. Möchte ich mich wieder ins Lokal setzten? Nein.

More than just a pizzeria. Delicious Italian food at reasonable prices.

Still the best Italian restaurant within a 50 km radius. Fresh pasta, a constantly changing selection of freshly made antipasti, perfect pizza, delicious wines, attentive service, and warm, welcoming owners. What more could you ask for?

If I could give zero stars, I would. We called on November 4th to make a reservation for a birthday party in January. We were told the schedule wasn't ready yet and they couldn't accept any reservations. We were told to call back in December. When we asked if that wasn't too late, they said no, that was fine, it wouldn't be a problem. Just to be on the safe side, we called again today, November 26th, to check if the schedule was available (we had already sent out invitations, as they had told us it wouldn't be an issue at all). They told us there was already a reservation for 40-60 people. I asked how that was possible, since the schedule hadn't been available and we had inquired at the beginning of November. Apparently, these people had already reserved it last year. When I asked how that could be, they replied that why should they have to justify themselves? If it's a private party, it's a private party, end of story. When we asked why we hadn't been informed back in November, we were told that the plan wasn't finalized then. This level of questionability and audacity is truly unparalleled. Absolutely unfriendly to customers. The response was completely unfriendly and lacking in understanding. Apparently, they're only interested in profit, and words don't mean anything to them. There was no offer of an alternative date or compensation; the gentleman couldn't care less. We will definitely never go there again!

Very nice restaurant! I especially like that the staff speaks Italian – it creates an authentic atmosphere, which is rare in Solingen. The food, especially the pasta, is excellent. It's also nice that you can choose your own pasta type. Next time I visit, I'll try the pizza with my kids.

Carmelo and Filippo do a great job! Here you'll find authentic southern Italian cuisine. Everything is fresh and homemade. There's something for every taste, and it doesn't matter whether you're vegan, vegetarian, pescetarian, or meat-eater. Thanks for the kids' meal.

The best Italian restaurant in Solingen Mitte. Delicious, authentic food with excellent service from the two brothers who run the restaurant. We enjoyed our wedding reception here after the registry office ceremony.

Absolutely. At di Vino you can ALSO get pizza, but above all, authentic Italian cuisine, which sets it apart from other Italian restaurants. We only go to di Vino when we want Italian food. Di Vino is simply a true Italian restaurant.

The ambiance is truly beautiful and lovingly designed – you immediately feel at home here. The outdoor area, in particular, is inviting and very tastefully designed. The food was good, but not outstanding – solid, but with room for improvement. The service was unfortunately a bit cold and inattentive at times. The friendliness and presence could be improved overall. Nevertheless: If you value a pleasant atmosphere, this is the place to be. With a little fine-tuning of the service, this place could even achieve full marks.

Highly recommended, delicious food, perfect service

An Italian restaurant just as I imagine it: ambiance, staff, and food, everything to my taste. My wife's salmon salad had plenty of salmon, with a bit of a crust on the outside and still juicy on the inside. I had a pizza that tasted much better than the average pizza. The ambiance inside and outside was very appealing to me, with great attention to detail. Unfortunately, we were only visiting Solingen, because I wanted an Italian restaurant like that in my own city.

A super delicious, authentic Italian restaurant from Sicily. The pizzas, pasta, and fish dishes are all of the highest quality. The Frutti di Mare pizza is absolutely amazing. If I ever find myself in Solingen again, I'll definitely stop by Di Vino again. Highly recommended.

This time we were there with a small group. Everyone was very satisfied. Warm welcome and the food is simply great. We'll be back because we've never been disappointed. Saturday then with the next small group, before our visit to the theater.

Because of the good reviews, we were looking forward to good Italian cuisine. Unfortunately we were disappointed! The pasta sauces were all watery and tasteless. The pizza dough was ok. All dishes lacked a flavorful kick. The waitress was friendly, but had no knowledge of wine and the expensive mineral water was self-bottled soda water. All in all, it's a shame, but there are better alternatives in Solingen if you want to eat authentic Italian food!

Ambiance seems narrow and initially cozy. However, tables are small and therefore not comfortable to eat on as the table also contains all sorts of accessories. Chair very uncomfortable. Due to the open kitchen and the small restaurant, you get a lot of smells and fumes into the restaurant. Carpaccio was very good, the tomato sauce on my partner's pasta didn't taste like tomatoes, it was very watery and had hardly any taste. My mussels were ok, but they could have been a little more. The beer 🍺 was perfectly cold, the cola was rather warm. The waitress was very friendly, unfortunately she forgot to bring me a new napkin after the starter, but there was a napkin available at the neighboring table and I helped myself out with it. Espresso was great.

We ended up at “Di Vino” by chance last night and were thrilled. All the dishes were very tasty and we felt very comfortable. Di Vino was immediately saved as a favorite for our next visit to Solingen.

We ate very tasty food. The tomato soup was fruity, fresh and beautifully prepared. My tagliatelle also tasted delicious. The bruschetta came with lovely fresh bread and fruity tomatoes.

I can't say too many good things about Solingen, but Di Vino is an absolute highlight! Everything is just right here. Best food, perfect service, warmest hospitality. If I'm in the area again, I'll definitely stop at Di Vino. Thank you for family evenings abroad.

What can I say... divinely sublime

We were at Da Vino shortly after 10 p.m. on Saturday evening, previously at the Theater & Konzerthaus next door. Unfortunately, we were informed that the kitchen had just closed (okay, bad luck) and that there were no small items, snacks or anything similar, even though there were antipasti visible on the counter. In addition, it is now closed for private television watching. I definitely won't need it again!

Ate there for the first time as a couple. In the middle of the week. All places fully booked. Very good olives, delicious bread, really fluffy pizza dough with seafood, good wine, all in all a successful girls' evening.

A small but absolutely lovely and cozy Italian restaurant. All the food was fresh and the portions were nicely prepared and tasted very good. The service is very friendly, but I would recommend asking for seats by phone in advance.

The mixed appetizer platter was great. Afterwards there was a pasta with steak strips and prawns. Very tasty, clear curry note in the sauce. Pasta perfectly al dente.

I made a reservation for the evening that same day and got a table. I made a reservation for two adults and a baby. When we got there, our table was probably still occupied and we got another table, unfortunately only for two, so I had my seven-month-old child in my arms the whole evening. Eating with a baby in your arms is anything but relaxing but that wasn't even the real problem. Unfortunately, when we arrived my son had wet his diaper. Unfortunately there are no changing facilities. So I asked and was told I'm sorry, but you can see that everything is full and I can't offer you an option. We sat at a bench and I asked if I could change my diaper there. I was then told no, that wasn't possible because it wouldn't be nice to the other guests. Of course I know it's not nice, but if your baby's diaper is full you have to change it. I was basically left alone with my problem and went to the car in the snow and changed my diaper there. I found it totally outrageous and my mood was ruined. Even when they apologized again, I remained aware of my problem. Looking back, I regretted not going. When I paid, I expected that I would at least get something on the house as compensation, but there was no mention of that. We've been there a few times and the food is always good and we actually enjoy going. But unfortunately it's not child-friendly at all.

I met Vino through a Christmas party! Nice atmosphere, but it was a little different due to the Christmas party. Friendly and attentive staff, the food was great and the ravioli were great. The pizza with burrata and the appetizer plate are also worth recommending. The crowning glory was the delicious panna cotta. Unfortunately I can't say anything about the wines, I still had to drive. All in all highly recommended

Great service, very friendly, got a seat without a reservation. A mixed starter (small portion) was extremely tasty, the pizza was the way I like it, thin base and crispy edge. Great cozy atmosphere with show cooking. Saved for the next trip to Solingen.

Gute Italienische Küche, war sehr lecker und alles in ordnung

Italienisches Restaurant mit einem guten Ruf in der Nähe des Theaters in der Solinger Innenstadt. Wir riefen um 18:00 Uhr an und bekamen einen der letzten freien Tische an einem Dienstagabend. Viele Freunde haben uns dieses Lokal empfohlen, also waren unsere Erwartungen hoch. Der erste Eindruck war gut, das Personal freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Küche befindet sich im Restaurant und wird durch eine wunderbare Berkel-Handschneidemaschine ergänzt. Leider war es an unserem Tisch so dunkel, dass ich die Speisekarte nicht lesen konnte, ohne die Taschenlampe meines Handys zu benutzen. Der Lachs war gut. Der Spinat und der Salat waren frisch, hätten aber noch viel besser sein können. Die Rigatoni mit Rindfleisch waren ok. Das Rinder-"Filet" war etwas zäh und die Sauce schmeckte, als wäre sie gerade in die Pfanne leicht angebrannt und war etwas bitter. Das Restaurant war viel kleiner als erwartet, was für eine angenehme Atmosphäre sorgte. Es ist ein gutes italienisches Restaurant, aber nichts, was wir noch einmal besuchen würden, da es viele Italiener von ähnlicher Qualität gibt. Auch die Kasse sollte überarbeitet werden, denn auf der Quittung steht Gerolsteiner Wasser, aber es ist einfach abgefülltes Leitungswasser. Wir waren schon so oft hier, nun muss ich mal eine Bewertung schreiben. Bester Italiener in Solingen und Umgebung! Das Essen ist frisch, selbstgemacht und einfach nur unfassbar lecker. Hier wurden wir noch nie enttäuscht. Einfach nur weiterzuempfehlen.

Sehr freundlicher und herzlicher Empfang. Nette Bedienung mit sympathisch lockerer Art. Man fühlt sich willkommen in familiärer Atmosphäre. Gerichte sehr gut portioniert. Gute Auswahl. Für jeden etwas dabei. Authentisch im Geschmack. Mit liebe zubereitet. Hier möchte man nochmal hin 🥰
