We sat at our table for 10 minutes on a Friday evening without being served. After actively asking, the menus were forced upon us. We then went somewhere else for a delicious meal.

I have never experienced such bad service in my life, they don't care about their guests at all... you have to wait 10 minutes until someone even comes

Entsprechend dem Konzept lecker Pizzen und Salate. Limo's waren sehr lecker und der Salat mit Rind hat mir sehr gut geschmeckt. Nachteil ist, das durch die anderen Gäste sehr laut war und der Service die Jungs in der Küche sehr angefeuert hat. Aber dies gehört dazu und fand es nicht schlimm.

L'Osteria in Bielefeld definitely impresses with its portions – huge pizzas, decent amounts of pasta, and all at really fair prices. You'll be truly filling, so the value for money is absolutely spot on. However, our lunchtime visit was a bit hit and miss. The service was friendly, but didn't really keep up – long waits for orders and questions. It seemed a bit understaffed. Therefore, one star deducted. Nevertheless: If you're hungry and looking for good portions for a fair price, this is the place for you. We'll definitely be back!

The food tastes very good (whether it's pasta 🍝 or pizza 🍕). The prices are mostly very fair. The portions are filling, and the staff is very friendly and takes good care of you. The ambiance is also very pleasant. The only negative thing was the restrooms. Unfortunately, it smelled very strange. Otherwise, I'd be happy to go back.

We were at L'Osteria Bielefeld on a Monday evening around 6:30 p.m. At the entrance, we were told there were currently no tables for two available and that we could wait at the bar or sit at a long, high table with other guests. We decided to wait at the bar; no one asked if we wanted a drink. After 20 minutes, we were assigned a table for two. We waited there for another 25 minutes, hoping someone would take our order, but none happened. It was also not clear who would be serving us. We then left, paid for the one-hour parking ticket, and didn't eat anything. We've been to L'Osteria in various cities and have always been very satisfied, but we've never experienced such poor or no service.

The pizza we ordered was really cold. We asked the waiter to bring it back, and he told us to reheat the same pizza. If you reheat the same pizza, it gets hard. Then he said we should talk to the manager to see what would happen. In the end, they didn't bring back the cold pizza, and of course, the problem was forgotten, and we ate it cold. Unacceptable behavior.

The quality of the food is of a good standard. The service is excellent, but the prices are a bit high compared to the quality of the food. The ambiance is pleasant.

There were two of us and we got a table right away on a Saturday afternoon without a reservation. Parking at L'osteria is a bit tricky, so we parked in the parking garage about 300 meters away. The service was very friendly, and the wait time of about 15 minutes was perfectly acceptable.

The pizza is very large, extending beyond the edge of the plate onto the table. Cutting it is very inconvenient. Because the pizza is very thin, it also gets cold quickly. There's plenty of space, with plenty of seating inside and outside.

The waitress was rude. Four people wanted to eat and drink. Despite free seats, we were asked to leave.

Very, very bad service. My husband had to get the menu himself. We thought someone would come after that but nothing like that. I had to go in and was only then told that my colleague was alone today?! Yes, but what do all the other people behind the counter do then? The young man (new and alone) came in and took our order, fine, we thought, but we waited ages for the drinks, then we went in and one of the colleagues said with our food in her hand "I've just come", which I found very cheeky. The drinks only came 5 minutes after the meal and my husband had ordered a wheat beer and said it would be right there! We waited another 15 minutes and then we said we didn't want any more wheat beer and they just gave us a thumbs up?!? You have to be a bit more organized and professional in your work and also support the new person and not smoke or stand behind the counter!!!

We were there on a Sunday around 5 p.m., and were neither greeted warmly nor were our 3-year-old daughter considered (we were given a table for two, even though the restaurant was only 40% full). The glasses came without ice or lemon, and the fish salad came without lemon, but the waitress rolled her eyes when we asked for it. The salad was definitely not fresh - the pasta was acceptable, but unfortunately very little compared to the enormous pizzas.

We went with a group of 29 motorcyclists, and it was no problem at all. Friendly and helpful service, and it felt like we'd been coming here for years, so it was a great experience.

Regarding the service, I have to say (even though they were nice on both days), we felt a bit neglected as customers. Perhaps there was a shortage of staff at this branch. It just doesn't come across as good for the customer. Please improve; otherwise, it was a good experience.

I've been to L'Osteria Bielefeld many times and always enjoy coming back. The food is consistently delicious, the quality of the ingredients is impressive, and the seating is very pleasant both inside and outside. It can sometimes be a bit noisy outside due to the nearby street, but that's not the restaurant's fault. The staff is always friendly – all in all, a place you'll gladly return to!

Unfortunately, this L'Osteria branch lost the sympathy of the entire chain within two days. As someone who visits L'Osteria in various cities, I discovered this weekend in Bielefeld that this branch places absolutely no value on customer service. While you can spend over three hours on the phone and make 15 calls one day without reaching anyone, the next day you have to experience how a shared pizza is only topped two-thirds (the middle third had no toppings – basically a margarita) and then pay an outrageous price for pasta (17 euros), which we ordered without the beef fillet strips. It should also be mentioned that if you want to order beef fillet strips in addition to a pasta dish, you have to pay a full 5 euros extra. We didn't expect to pay 5 euros less, but at least we didn't have to pay the full price for the same amount without the main ingredient. When we asked, the answer was very brief and rather unfriendly: that pizzas sometimes happen when they're full (which can happen sometimes), and that pasta costs full price, whether with or without beef. So, a few noodles with a bit of paprika in a lemon and cream sauce (where you couldn't really taste the lemon) for 17 euros. Since we had already paid and only saw the list with the service receipt, we didn't want to make a big deal. Unfortunately, this will be our last visit to this branch - whether for business or pleasure. (It's a minor thing, but taken as a whole, it's unfortunately another sign of poor service that we weren't given the daily special – that's also never happened to me before at a L'Osteria.)

Very long waits on a Saturday lunchtime with a moderately large portion. All of our food arrived late and cold. Our request to pay was met with a rude response because none of the waiters saw us. During the checkout process, when, for example, three people still had to pay, the waiter repeatedly disappeared. If there had been more transparency in this regard, it would have been less of an issue. Generally slow service, a real shame; it's better at other locations. Based on the other reviews, I see that it's not always like this, but it's still disappointing.

We were there yesterday and didn't even get a menu and had to look online to see what we wanted. The food was great but the table was completely dirty because someone had just thrown paper over it. Then the food was wrapped up, folded up and thrown through the door. We said we would like to pay separately and the waitress sat there for 20 minutes and then came back to ask if she could take our money even though we had already told her twice. The food was great but the service wasn't that great.

The food is good and very tasty. Unfortunately, the service isn't so good. You have to wait a long time for a waiter at your table. Unfortunately, ordering more drinks took a long time, so much so that you almost lost your appetite for the drink. For the price, I'm unfortunately disappointed with the service, and this wasn't my first experience. I don't want to blame the individual waiters; they did their best.

Unfortunately, our visit to L'Osteria was anything but satisfactory. We entered the restaurant at 6:35 p.m., but our food was served considerably late. The server was attentive and politely apologized for the wait. As compensation, he offered us another round of drinks. When we tried to order them later, however, the so-called "manager" refused. Only after asking again did we receive a third of the drinks free of charge – we don't consider this a generous gesture, especially compared to our experiences at other restaurants. When the food was finally served, it turned out that the table, with a diameter of 60 cm, was far too small for the large pizzas (approx. 40 cm each). The plates were also noticeably small – in stark contrast to other L'Osteria branches, where the dishes are much more generous and better suited to the size of the food. Furthermore, the knives were so blunt that cutting the pizza became a challenge. Unfortunately, one of the pizzas was completely inedible: dry, tough, and with a crust as hard as a rock—as if it had been baked yesterday. The friendly waiter again tried to find a solution and spoke to the "manager." As a result, we were given a 15% discount—better than nothing, but inadequate given the overall circumstances. Finally, the payment process was delayed because the waiter didn't have any change. So, another 15 minutes passed before we were finally able to leave the restaurant around 8:30 p.m. Overall, it was a disappointing experience that neither lived up to L'Osteria's reputation nor our previous, certainly better, experiences at other branches. Once—and probably not a second time.

Best pizza in Bielefeld with a great outdoor atmosphere :)

Service was nice, but overwhelmed. The appetizer came with the main course. The appetizer plate was abysmally bad. The pizza was supposed to be half and half, but it was 1/4 and 3/4...

The food takes a very long time, the service is unfriendly and slow. The bruschetta bread was already soggy, probably because it had been sitting in the kitchen for so long... The pasta was delicious, but the long wait ruined my appetite. The restrooms also smelled really bad.

I ate at L'Osteria yesterday and was completely satisfied – I was particularly pleasantly surprised by the service. The young waitress was incredibly friendly, attentive, and always had a smile on her face, despite the full house. She took her time, was very accommodating, and made our visit truly special with her pleasant manner. The food was delicious as always, but the excellent service rounded off the evening perfectly. Feedback on our Sunday evening visit to L'Osteria Bielefeld Dear L'Osteria Team, We would like to give you constructive feedback on our visit to your restaurant in Bielefeld on Sunday evening. This Sunday, we called the restaurant around 8:15 p.m. to inquire whether the kitchen was still open, as we had a journey of approximately 35 kilometers ahead of us. An employee confirmed – albeit in a rather annoyed tone – that the kitchen was still open upon our arrival and that we would only have to wait for a free table. When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised to find that the restaurant was only half full and that we were immediately assigned a table. After about ten minutes, a young and very friendly waiter took our food and drink orders and served them promptly. Just a few minutes later, the same waiter informed us that the pizza station was already closed and that we could order pasta instead. This irritated us greatly, as we observed that pizzas continued to be served to other tables. Since we didn't want an alternative due to our preference for pizza and the promise we had made over the phone, we simply asked for the bill for the drinks – which was then happily waived. Conclusion: Unfortunately, our visit was very disappointing. Despite prior consultation by phone and a long journey, we received no food, sat at a sticky and dirty table, and wasted a total of four hours of our time. Our suggestions for improvement: 1. Binding kitchen closing times: These should be clearly communicated and up-to-date on the website and on Google. 2. Reliable information over the phone: Employees should provide reliable and friendly information, especially when guests are planning a long journey. 3. Staff briefing: The service staff should be consistently informed about opening and closing times and encouraged to adhere to them. We had to move twice. The staff was overwhelmed and blamed the customers for their personal problems. We left after 10 minutes... NEVER AGAIN!!!

Four of us went to eat at L'Osteria in Bielefeld this evening – without a reservation, which fortunately wasn't a problem. We got a table fairly quickly, which generally made a good impression. Our drink order wasn't taken for about 10 minutes. The drinks arrived promptly, but we had to wait another 20 minutes for our food order to be taken. The food itself also took another 20 minutes after ordering – which would have been fine. However, parts of my order were forgotten – specifically my salad and two dips. After another 10 minutes of waiting, no one had taken care of it. Only after we inquired did they respond, but it seemed as if it would have been completely forgotten without our follow-up. Unfortunately, the service was also rather unfriendly and unattentive, which significantly dampened the overall impression. The quality of the food was fine – as you would expect from an L'Osteria – but the service left a lot to be desired. For a restaurant that places great emphasis on atmosphere and hospitality, this was disappointing. Conclusion: The food was good, but the service, in our case, was unfortunately poor – especially with forgotten orders and unfriendly staff. Therefore, it's only a limited recommendation for a relaxed dinner outing.

I ordered two pastas and one pizza through Uber, and I waited an hour and 45 minutes. I called the restaurant, and they told me I was on my way. To my surprise, the order never arrived, and I had to cancel it. I'll never order again.

The seating seemed a bit haphazard. It was unclear whether the more than seven different seating options were part of a concept or a necessity. Overall, the atmosphere felt a bit "used." Of course, it didn't detract from the taste of the food, even if the glasses here seemed rather worn. The location is easily accessible on foot, but it's more challenging by car. Free parking, like at many other L'Osteria restaurants, isn't available. The building is beautiful and has outdoor seating; there's no upper floor. Service was friendly. Although there seemed to be many employees milling around, only one wore an apron and was solely responsible for the approximately 30 lunch guests, so it took a while at first. The food from the well-known menu was complemented by the daily specials. The anniversary points campaign is currently ongoing. The only annoying thing was the open cleaning supplies.

Extremely delicious pizza with a very thin base!

It's been a while since we booked a table there for 25 people for our company Christmas party. When we arrived, we were told we had to leave by 8 p.m. because the table would be taken again. Maybe it was a lack of coordination, but that's not acceptable for me! When I book a Christmas party, I stay the whole evening and want to continue sitting there and have a drink after dinner. We were then seated at a row of tables pushed together. Each of us had exactly the width of a placemat – and that's definitely too narrow. Our request to extend the table was only reluctantly accepted. But when two more tables were taken, it worked out more or less. And we were allowed to stay until just before 9 p.m., until the new guests arrived. Now, for the positive: The pizza was amazing! Quite large, so I was quite full afterward. My colleagues were also full of praise. And the service was also quite fast, despite the restaurant being really busy. Unfortunately, the waiters weren't in a particularly good mood. It was also very busy and stressful. I don't want to give the restaurant a bad rating because of this one "incident," as I think it's really nice during normal business hours. But I still have to deduct one star.

The website says it's open until 12, I drove 50km, paid for parking, walked in at 9:57 PM, and then I was told there weren't enough customers and to come back tomorrow. The staff can't do anything about that; the food always tastes great and the service is friendly, but why can't they keep their hours real online?

I once gave it 5 stars, which I unfortunately have to take back after today's experience. After we arrived at the half-filled beer garden, nothing happened for 10 minutes.... We made our presence known and said that we would like to order. The lady then said “my colleague will do that straight away”. Other guests came and were served. Still nothing happened to us! The guests next to us at the table got their pizza delivered and the waitress left... After about 30 minutes we decided to leave... Hats off to so much incompetence

L’Osteria impresses with really good pizza – big, thin and perfectly baked! The food my companion served was also very appealing. The staff is nice and it's really comfortable to sit here. A great place for a relaxing evening, absolutely recommended!

The only thing that can be eaten in Germany is worth it

Unfortunately it's no longer what it used to be. Always very loud. You basically have no peace at all while eating. Tables are set up far too closely, so that the waitress can't even reach all the tables easily without me having to move my chair forward. Some of the pizzas were not baked all the way through or were baked very unevenly. The edge of the dough almost looked like the symbol of Ying & Yang. Overall, unfortunately disappointed for the price, which has also increased while the quality has deteriorated.. unfortunately.. We will first have to find another pizza restaurant in Bielefeld.

2 visits so far, both had catastrophic experiences - definitely not a third time again! On the first visit we all had an upset stomach straight after. Today, 2 years after the first attempt, I was given another chance and immediately again a huge disappointment. Our order was forgotten. We were told this after an hour of waiting, after everyone else had already received their food. After more than 1 hour the food arrived, the special request for an ingredient was not taken into account. We and 3 neighboring tables waited half an hour for the bill. The store was moderately full, it's a normal Wednesday. No apology or other compensation received. No drink or dessert on the house, no price reduction. Instead, the option to tip is presented to you, where you should enter the percentage on the device. Snotty and no insight whatsoever. Disaster!!

Unfortunately we were left standing at the door without at least someone telling us that it might take a while until we were seated. After about 5 minutes we left. The food is usually always great, but the service was rather slow last time, for example with reordering drinks.

As usual, the food was perfect, the staff was friendly but a bit listless. Every now and then in Losteria restaurants, when paying by card, I am presented with the percentage selection for tips without me asking. I find that a bit cheeky; it has happened to me several times in Losteria Osnabrück. I always tip, but I like to decide how much myself and don't need a request from the staff with a percentage choice.

It was the first time there with my family, we had such lovely service, at first we didn't like the place, but then we got a nicer place, the food was top top top...Thank you, we'll be happy to come again and for everyone who hasn't been with you yet, please give it a try...thanks again to the nice and pretty service....

Beautiful L'Osteria. The large pizzas are, as always, great and tasty, although occasionally I had a crust that was a little too big, which made the pizza a little dry. The service here is always very friendly, quick and courteous.

A real service problem. First several attempts until you get a card, then despite multiple hand signals etc. no one comes to take an order. Unfortunately we left disappointed after 45 minutes. Too bad. The outdoor terrace is really inviting when the weather is nice.

Unfortunately, absolutely unqualified employees. Everything takes far too long and is not service-oriented. You have to ask and beg for everything, whether it's the salt or the parmesan. Asked waitress for parmesan and bread when food arrived. Empty Parmesan pot arrived after 5 minutes and I'm still waiting for the bread. Unfortunately not the first visit here that was so disappointing.

Unfortunately, there was no option to order dessert at 8:45 p.m., which I find really weak for a restaurant that stays open until 10:30 p.m. Pizza was ok.

Got a nice place, placed the order and everything was fine. The place behind us is occupied 5 minutes after we order, ordered, do you get food 30 minutes before us?! When we asked the waitress we were told it was busy. But it can't be that one table that comes after us is 30! minutes before we get the food! I come from the catering industry myself with years of experience and was always good to talk to at L'osteria but this time it was a pure disappointment!

Huge pizzas and delicious salads

Were there for the first time today. The pizzas are large and pasta dishes were excellent. The pizzas arrived 15 minutes later than the pasta dishes, which the attentive waitress Dana also noticed and apologized profusely. Thanks Dana for the nice service. We'd love to come back.

Definitely the best pizza restaurant in Bielefeld The size of the pizza is enormous, the prices are good, the staff is friendly, the atmosphere is very cozy. It’s just the perfect place to hang out with friends or to go there for a date! Highly recommend it!

Food top. It depends on the operation. The problem with tipping... if you don't want to give one, you have to be careful when paying. The staff is often overloaded... there are free places, but these are not offered because, according to the staff, there are not enough service staff present. I had lunch in this restaurant the other day and I was completely impressed. The pizzas are wafer-thin, but so large that the already large plate underneath the pizza only serves as an alibi, as a second paper plate has to be passed underneath to accommodate the pizza monster the size of a rain barrel lid. The service was first class and the restaurant itself has a great ambience. Unfortunately, I'm rarely in Bielefeld, but I would come back here at any time, that's for sure!

For me, it was typical L'Osteria. Everything was perfect. The large 45cm pizzas are a plus, as they're perfect for sharing, with a choice of toppings. Restrooms are located in the basement, accessible only by stairs.

We came here spontaneously for dinner today. I was attracted by the vegan offer. I wasn't disappointed. Finally a pizzeria with a sensible cheese alternative ❤️ The pizza was hot, fresh and crispy. Unfortunately we got the large starter instead of the small one. It was pointed out several times that I also ordered a risotto, but unfortunately I didn't get it. When paying, I mentioned again that I hadn't received the main course. The service then became quite unfriendly. The risotto was included in the price and after a written invoice was requested, the waitress came and gave us the money back. Without being asked, we would have paid for food that we didn't get. Non-carbonated Cola. You didn't feel welcome.
