Sehr freundlicher Service, Nettes sauberes Ambiente, Sehr leckeres frisch zubereitetes Essen, Vor allem das Salatbuffet mit selbstgemachten Salaten ist hier zu erwähnen! Und dann alles zu sehr humanen Preisen. Sehr empfehlenswert!!!

Leider eine große Enttäuschung. Die Qualität des Essens war aus meiner Sicht wirklich sehr schlecht. Geschmack, Zubereitung und Frische konnten mich überhaupt nicht überzeugen. Gleichzeitig werden Preise verlangt, wie man sie aus guten Restaurants kennt. Für diese Qualität ist das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis absolut nicht gerechtfertigt. Ich werde dort nicht noch einmal essen und kann das Restaurant leider nicht weiterempfehlen.

Wir waren nun schon ein paar mal im Asteria und wurden immer freundlich begrüßt. Das Essen ist super lecker und auch die Vorspeisen sehr zu empfehlen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

War zu Besuch bei meiner Freundin, und wir hatten Lust auf griechisches Essen. Das Essen war sehr, sehr, gut. War wirklich das Beste was ich seid langem gegessen habe.

Sehr schönes Restaurant, der Service war hervorragend.

Wir haben leider über eine Stunde auf das Hauptessen gewartet und die Gerichte waren dann nur lauwarm.Beilagen wurden vergessen u erst nach erneuten Bescheid sagen u eines Blickes des Kellers in die Karte nach gereicht.Leider ist das Servicepersonal immer nur an die Spitze des Tisches gegangen und hat das hintere Ende vom Tisch nur wenig verdient. Geschmacklich war es okay(Pfeffer u Salz auf dem Tisch haben gefehlt), Portionsgrößen waren gut.

SuperLokal,toller Service und das Essen war spitzenmaessig. Immer wieder sehr gerne.

Sehr gutes Essen und nettes, gepflegtes Ambiente. Reservierung, zumindest am Wochenende, sinnvoll (auch wenn man nur zu zweit kommt). Mitarbeitende stets freundlich und zuvorkommend - auch wenn der Service manchmal überfordert zu sein scheint (lange Wartezeiten bis zur Aufnahme der Bestellung, Servieren von falschen Speisen, fehlende Beilagen), wird aber besser und wenn mal etwas daneben geht, wird sofort gehandelt. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne her.

Obwohl wir erst sehr spät kamen (also kurz vor Küchenschluss), wurden wir doch sehr freundlich bedient und bekamen noch warm zu essen. Niemand gab einem das Gefühl, genervt zu sein. Die Tische mit wenig Dekor gefielen mir sehr. Manchmal ist weniger mehr. 👍😁

Eine Reservierung ist nach unserer Erfahrung empfehlenswert. Die von uns bisher gewählten Speisen waren sehr lecker, besonders die Salatbar gefällt uns. Die Sitzbänke sind leider etwas niedrig, besser Tische mit Stühlen wählen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir sind sehr froh dieses Restaurant in Friedeburg zu haben und nicht woanders hinfahren zu müssen.

Wir waren bereits mehrmals vor Ort essen, und das Essen war jedes Mal sehr lecker. Die Angestellten sind freundlich und bemüht. Umso unangenehmer fiel jedoch das Verhalten einer Mitarbeiterin auf, könnte die Chefin oder Leiterin gewesen sein, die wiederholt hektisch und unfreundlich gegenüber den eigenen Kollegen/Mitarbeitern auftrat. Als wir erstmals telefonisch nachfragten, ob auch eine Bestellung zum Abholen möglich sei – was wir vor Ort bereits mehrfach beobachtet hatten –, wurde unsere Anfrage unhöflich abgelehnt und das Gespräch einfach beendet. Da es sich dabei um dieselbe Person handelte, ist dieses Verhalten für uns nicht akzeptabel. So behandelt man weder Kunden noch Angestellte. Wir werden daher nicht wiederkommen.

Lange nicht mehr so gut gegessen. Ab sofort eins meiner Favoriten.

Sehr gutes Lokal, mit einer umfangreichen Auswahl an verschiedenen griechischen Gerichten für jeden Geschmack. Vor allem die Kellner und das Ambiente laden zum Essen ein.

I had the samo plate. The wait was over an hour. The gyro was cold. Luckily, there was very little of it. There were four of us there, and everyone had the same problem. I was initially very excited. Now it was my last time there, along with my companions. It's a shame... It started out really well!

Very friendly service, prompt. Drinks and food arrived promptly. Super delicious; the meat was grilled very well! Salad from the buffet! We ate outside this time. We'll definitely be back! Keep up the good work.

The food was okay; I had the metaxa gyro. Unfortunately, it was rather blandly seasoned and very heavy on the stomach. The service staff were very nice, but the owner (I assume) was quite unfriendly, not particularly attentive, and didn't even look at us as we walked past. Unfortunately, I won't be going there again.

Premiere this Saturday. Two of us arrived at 5 p.m. today, after making a reservation, excited and greeted politely. We were then shown to our table and promptly given the menu and asked for our drink preferences, starting a wonderful and memorable evening with an ouzo each. We were very friendly introduced to the salad bar and were quickly able to enjoy our drinks and fantastic cocktails (San Francisco). The appetizers were brought to the table promptly and tasted perfect (garlic bomb with bread and pastry rolls). The main courses were beautifully presented in pans, and it was absolutely fantastic that the side dishes were served separately! Here we chose the chef's special (pork medallions in curry sauce with roasted potatoes) and the Metaxa pan with chicken breast and rice. If you judge the time spent there, we stayed for about an hour and 15 minutes and were able to eat and enjoy ourselves in a completely relaxed manner! The value for money is fair, and the portions of our dishes were truly filling. A definite addition to the menu in our community! We'll be back, and next time with the kids, as the menu offers plenty of options for younger children! Since we were too full, we'll have to postpone dessert until our next visit!

First of all, I find it very bold to advertise here with the previous reviewer's reviews. It's legally questionable and, in my opinion, misleading. I'll be reporting it to Google soon. I can only judge based on my experience, which concerns a visit on Corpus Christi and one meal. I entered the restaurant around 7 p.m. and asked for a table to myself. I was stared at like I was a car and greeted with an incredulous "OK?" The lady behind the counter then told me that a colleague was assigning seats and that I should wait ("it's about to start"). After I stood there for 10 minutes as if I had ordered but not picked up, and the said colleague (I think it was the owner of the shop) walked past me six times without bothering to take care of my assignment, the lady finally took pity on me and sat me at the table I'd been standing in front of for the past 10 minutes. The menu was brought to me quite quickly, and I opted for gyros in Metaxa sauce. I was offered an ouzo beforehand, a nice gesture! I was allowed to help myself to the small salad buffet until the main course. The selection there was okay and tasty. The main course was then served relatively quickly in a black pan. It looked good at first. Unfortunately, the so-called "meat" turned out to be by far the worst gyro I've ever eaten. I've had both gyros on a spit and gyros from a pan. I prefer the spit, but pan-fried ones are fine, too. I honestly couldn't identify what I was eating. Half of the gyro pieces consisted almost entirely of sloppy pieces of fat. I had to spit them out regularly, and by the end, it was making me feel sick. The remaining "meat" was generally very thickly sliced and therefore terribly tough and hard, and to this day, I still don't know what I ate. I've never experienced anything like it before. Because of this experience, I only ate about 1/3 of the food and didn't want to take it home because I was so disgusted. The sauce was a quacky cream sauce that sat heavily in my stomach for hours. As a side dish, there was a tiny portion of vegetable rice, which was quite overcooked and tasted bland. Conclusion: Unfortunately, a complete disaster. Bad food, disorganized staff. Based on my experience, I won't be coming back. Perhaps the staff were having a bad day, perhaps all the other dishes are great, I'll never know. But I can only advise everyone to stay away from this one, and I sincerely ask that you delete the old, no longer relevant reviews!

We had reserved a table for 7:15 p.m. and arrived 10 minutes early. Drinks were ready, but then we were forgotten. A group that arrived half an hour after us was almost finished eating, and we hadn't even had our starters yet. Even after our first inquiry, there was no response. Only when my husband went into the kitchen did they respond, and as an apology, we only offered an ouzo. When the food finally arrived, one dish arrived so late that everyone else was almost finished. We would have appreciated a proper apology. When it came to paying, we waived the tip, and were greeted with an unfriendly farewell. The portions were a bit small, but tasty.

Yes, the food is tasty, prices are good, mid-range, you can sit inside and outside, and there's parking.

We went there today without a reservation, deciding on a whim. We received a very friendly welcome and were shown a nice table. The menu was very well-stocked and offered something for every taste. We were absolutely thrilled with the delicious fried flatbread that accompanied our starter (tzatziki). The service was friendly and attentive. First of all, I have to say that it tasted good, but: About 30-40 minutes after ordering, the waiter came and informed me that the vine leaves for my appetizer were no longer available (the restaurant wasn't exactly full, with 6-7 tables occupied). I've never paid €21.90 for a grilled platter that didn't even come with fries (so I wouldn't have been full without an appetizer). Unfortunately, I only received my second shandy after my third order (and then only a small one instead of a large one). The salad buffet apparently wasn't refilled either, as several trays were empty. I think the service was overwhelmed and understaffed that Sunday, as I only saw two waitresses, one of whom was constantly standing behind the counter; a real shame.

We had the Asteria platter for two people. Very tasty. We'll be back.

A very beautiful place to relax. Highly recommended for vacationers looking to recharge their batteries. Many beautiful views and opportunities, including in the surrounding area. A restaurant I can only recommend. I've rarely eaten so well, a highlight... and so plentiful, I'd happily return. The ambiance and service are first-class. I give the restaurant an A+. I look forward to next time.

We ate there in the evening. The service was fine. The waitress was very friendly, and if she hadn't mentioned it, you wouldn't have noticed it was her first day. It would have been nice to have had something to drink, but we had a table outside and were just out of sight, I guess. The food itself was fantastic, very tasty. Personally, I missed the typical bread with the tzatziki. For example, I had the No. 100 vegetable pan with rice and tzatziki, which was a comparatively (too) small portion; I would have liked something to dip into my tzatziki and fill me up a bit more. Overall, it was really good, and we'll definitely be back. Highly recommended. We also thought the salad bar was a good idea; you could put together your own individual salad.

The food was delicious, but... 1. Waiting time over 1.5 hours 2. Salad bar was not restocked while we were there 3. Glass dirty (ok, that can happen, I also gave a new one straight away) 4. Side dishes for the meat only came 15 minutes after the meat... a bit inconvenient 5. A meal was delivered incorrectly. In this respect, the person had to wait a long time until their food came while the others could already eat 6. When it was pointed out that the supplements were missing, the response was at least not hospitable 7. Drinks supply was poorly planned (we wanted to drink Lillet - it was quieter) 8. Last but not least, the bill was also wrong. However, this was corrected without any problems. All in all - service staff were nice and tried hard, but overall very disorganized. The food was delicious, but with the amount of "inconvenience" we probably won't eat there again. Too bad!

We had dinner there yesterday. The service was very nice. However, it seemed very disorganized. No problem at all, we had over an hour until the food arrived. Unfortunately incomplete. Fries and bread that had been ordered were missing for another 15 minutes. Anything can happen but a small hint was answered sloppily...well we thought...maybe it's stressful today. The two of us graciously paid the bill. My wife noticed that this was wrong. So all in all a short list of what we didn't like: 1. Service took too long and it was very disorganized. 2. Salad bar has not been restocked. (Beans were completely empty in our presence). 3. Lillet is over. 4. Fries and side dishes were missing and were brought clearly too late when asked (15 minutes after the food was brought) 5. When asked, the answer was sloppy. 6.The invoice was incorrect. Thanks to my wife, the problem was quickly remedied. The food itself was delicious, but the surroundings were only semi-good. I'm excited to see who's coming to the store next. If everything stays the same as yesterday, people will definitely not come there anymore. In any case, we won't go there anymore. I'd rather spend my money elsewhere. Too bad...

Unfortunately, most of the reviews here come from the time of the previous restaurant! The Asteria has been around since April 1st, 2025. We were there once and will never go there again! Children's meals are priced at the top and quality is at the bottom. Carelessly prepared and the cheapest frozen chicken nuggets you can probably find. All the dishes we had were poorly seasoned! Criticism or comments about the food are responded to rudely! After paying there was no goodbye or anything. So this shop is guaranteed not to last long! But it's absolutely no loss for Friedeburg.

Yesterday we were in our new restaurant here in Friedeburg for the first time. The restaurant was fully booked but we didn't have to wait long for our food. And the food was really very tasty. We both had a different grill plate and have to say it was really great! We were able to take the salad from the salad bar and put it together ourselves. A great idea and very tasty, especially the shepherd's salad jamjam. All in all, it speaks for a great, tasty restaurant in beautiful Friedeburg. We'll definitely be back

Had dinner here today with 5 people. I chose the restaurant because the pictures posted were very attractive and the good reviews were promising. I expected a lot, but I didn't expect the food to be so excellent and the staff to be so nice and accommodating. When the schnitzel and the rest came, it was quiet at the table for a while; every single one of us was enthusiastic about the food. For me today it was a schnitzel in pepper cream sauce, which took first place of all schnitzels for me. The schnitzel was tender, the breading was very successful, there was more than enough sauce on the schnitzel and the sauce was excellently seasoned. Some people like the sauce separately, I like both. My wife's schnitzel with hollandaise and broccoli was also flawless. The fried potatoes were golden brown, still had a good bite and tasted great. The fries are crispy and soft on the inside and well seasoned. The family also agreed that the Harzer Schnitzelkönig, which we have had many times, could also pack a punch in terms of taste. What we found really unfortunate was that we were completely alone on a Sunday evening. I really sincerely hope that this was the exception and that this restaurant has, or perhaps still has, a good number of visitors.

Buddy`s Restaurant in Friedeburg: Everything was very tasty, Meat, pizza and pasta, the starters and drinks were really very good. Both the quality and the quantity are very appealing! Modern and friendly furnishings. Service was nice and courteous. Prices for the food really good. Not excessive. I was also very happy with the food. The gyro was a little too crispy. The soflaki was super tender. Fries were well seasoned. The salad as a starter was OK. The coleslaw was too sweet. All in all I was satisfied.

Well I have to say, the food was damn tasty and the employees were super nice. 5/5 and I recommend everyone to be very hungry, especially if you like schnitzel!

Just a disaster. This is where bad food takes on a different dimension. When tasting, serve red wine in white wine, and even though there was red wine in the glass, simply pour white wine on top. Antipasti plate is a deep fryer plate. Everything TK!!! Inedible. The meat is thawed and inedible. Never again!!!

The food is ok. There are large portions. The baked sheep's cheese was huge, unfortunately only lukewarm. The salad was good. Unfortunately you wait quite a long time for your food. We came here spontaneously, unfortunately we were the only guests during the week - but that should quickly change when word gets out about how fantastic the food is here! Bruschetta turned out to be freshly baked bread with wonderfully seasoned tomatoes, the schnitzel was rich, juicy and the coating was wonderfully crispy despite the sauce. The small fried potatoes served separately were quite a highlight. The only disadvantage is that you can't pay by card here (yet?). If we're in the area we'll definitely be back!

I've never had such a bad meal in a restaurant in my life. 145 consists of 3 ingredients.. 2 of them were forgotten.. the steak medium with a dollop of herb butter is made by every apprentice chef in the first year of training.. Service was very chaotic despite pre-ordering.. Card registration not possible..!! The shop has no character, no flair and no craftsmanship at all. Not recommended...
