Schönes Restaurant, leckeres Essen, netter Service. Alles rundum gut.

Habe heute spontan nach einem Platz im Deseo angefragt. Leider war um 19 Uhr alles besetzt. Die freundliche Bedienung bat uns an, sich bei mir zu melden sobald ein Tisch frei wird. Nach 15 Minuten haben wir einen Platz bekommen und das wirklich leckere Essen kam auch schon ca 15 Minuten später. Vielen Dank!

Wir waren zum ersten Mal dort. Sehr schönes Restaurant, tolles Ambiente, sehr freundliches Personal sehr leckeres Essen. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen und wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Alles bestens. Auswahl top & vielseitig, Essen lecker, Service sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich, Ambiente geschmackvoll. Ein Stern Abzug, weil man auf der Terrasse mitkriegt, wie der draussen supernette Kellner drinnen das Küchenteam von oben herab zusammenbrüllt. Cringe.

Wir waren heute zur Trauerfeier für meinen Schwiegervater im Deseo.Im Vorfeld hatten wir einen Wunsch für die Selbstgestaltete Tischdeko von uns.Dieser Wunsch wurde ohne Komplikationen Toll umgesetzt.Das Essen war wirklich sehr lecker.Der Service war sehr zuvorkommend, Aufmerksam und freundlich.Wir können das Deseo jederzeit empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder.

Das Essen mit der Familie war sehr gut. Wir haben unterschiedliche Gerichte bestellt und alles war sehr lecker. Die Geräuschkulisse war etwas laut und anstrengend, wurde im Laufe des Abends jedoch erträglich. Insgesamt 4 Sterne mit einem dicken Plus. Unbedingt empfehlenswert.

Ein wunderbares Lokal! Ich habe es zufällig in den Empfehlungen entdeckt und war begeistert. Sehr stilvoll eingerichtet. Das Essen ist unglaublich lecker und wird schnell und ansprechend serviert. Das Personal ist freundlich und aufmerksam und sorgt für eine sehr gemütliche Atmosphäre. Alles, was wir bestellt haben, war frisch und köstlich. Vielen Dank für den gelungenen Abend! Wir waren heute im Deseo. Hervorzuheben ist der Service und die freundliche Bedienung und Bewirtung. Wir haben uns die ganze Zeit über sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Das Essen war sehr lecker, Grillteller und Spaghetti Burrata. Getränke, Bier und Cocktail. Das Brot zur Begrüßung mit Hausgemachter Aioli und Oliven, sehr gelungen. Der Tzatziki mit Brot, ebenfalls sehr lecker und zu empfehlen. Wir hatten einen angenehmen, sehr schönen Abend im Deseo, wir kommen gerne wieder und wünschen allen weiteren Gästen sowie dem Restaurant und Team-Service alles Gute, sowie gute Geschäfte und eine schöne Zeit. Vielen Dank

Das Essen war fantastisch und seinen Preis mehr als wert! Schneller, freundlicher Service und eine schöne Atmosphäre, alles trotz vollem Haus. Definitiv 5/5 Sterne! Wichtig: Wenn Sie Trinkgeld geben möchten, und mit Karte zahlen, tragen Sie das Trinkgeld in Bar bei sich, das Kartengerät lässt keine Anpassung zu, jedoch hat sich jede/r Mitarbeiter:in dort ein Trinkgeld verdient.

Ich bin Kanadierin und war zum ersten Mal in Deutschland. Ich habe in Hongkong, London, Ottawa und Macau gelebt und gearbeitet und weiß gute Restaurants sehr zu schätzen. Deseo hat mich so begeistert, dass ich innerhalb einer Woche dreimal dort gegessen habe! Hervorragendes Essen, freundlicher und aufmerksamer Service, tolle Atmosphäre und viel Liebe zum Detail. Ja, es kann zu Stoßzeiten voll werden, aber das ist ein gutes Zeichen. Sehr empfehlenswert.

This was our first time at "Deseo" and we were very impressed by the tasteful, modern ambiance. Cozy and very stylish. The warm welcome and attentive, friendly service were outstanding. We felt extremely comfortable. The menu is also very diverse. The antipasti platter was delicious and the sirloin steak was cooked to perfection. We will definitely be back.

At Deseo in Oldenburg, everything just fits: a great atmosphere, a lovely terrace, and super delicious food. The service was incredibly attentive – you immediately feel at home. A highly recommended place for fine dining!

We were guests today for lunch. The greeting was friendly, and we were seated in the corner, a bit further away from the bar. This probably also led to our initial forgetting. After 15 minutes of waiting, I politely asked for our order to be taken. It worked, and the younger waitress was friendly and apologized. That was fine with me. It can happen sometimes. After another 45 minutes of waiting, unfortunately, we still didn't have our food, so I decided to ask. At that moment, another waitress came out of the kitchen with our food. I politely asked if it was for us. She said yes, but she was quite annoyed. "We can only serve it one at a time." I replied that I could understand that in principle. But we were really hungry, and our little daughter's patience was running thin. Unfortunately, the waitress didn't offer a word of apology. Why does a restaurant accommodate more guests than it can serve with the available staff? The prices are rather high. A 0.4 l Coke, for example, costs €5.30. For that, I expect top-notch service. Mistakes can happen. No question about it. The question is how they're handled. If they'd served us bread or a small salad in the meantime to shorten the wait, it wouldn't have been so bad. One of the six people also forgot to order a meal. At least they served a small salad on the house to make up for the extra wait. Overall, there's still a lot of room for improvement in terms of service. It's a shame the owner is cutting corners.

I had dinner here with friends for the first time today. Everything was great – from the cozy, modern atmosphere, the lovingly prepared and delicious dishes, to the very polite staff and fair prices. Location number 1, 100% recommended!

We stopped by spontaneously and received a friendly welcome. The food was delicious, and so were the drinks. The atmosphere was lovely and clean. We finished with a Marsala. We highly recommend the restaurant.

It was our first time at Deseo. The food was very good, the service was very friendly and the atmosphere was nice.

Never again, the service was terrible, the food mediocre and the ambience more than mediocre!

The boss's behavior is unacceptable! The way he treats customers is absolutely abysmal. The man doesn't know how to treat people with respect, but he does have a big mouth, as befits someone who has no understanding of or ability to deal with customers.

We ate at Deseo with our family (19 people in total, including four children aged 2-5). The service was excellent and very child-friendly. When ordering the children's dishes, we were informed that penne could be used instead of spaghetti. The food arrived quickly, and everyone was satisfied. We've been there several times now and would love to come back!

The food is okay, but I don't think the value for money is right for many of the dishes. Portions are rather small. Drinks are more expensive than in other restaurants. One dish arrived a few minutes late, so the dishes that had been brought earlier were almost cold.

We celebrated our civil wedding with our family at this wonderful venue and couldn't have wished for a more beautiful setting. We received professional advice right from the planning stage, and our wishes were carefully considered and perfectly implemented. The food was outstanding, the service consistently friendly and attentive—our guests were thoroughly delighted. We would particularly like to highlight the team's flexibility: Even though our guests arrived earlier than planned, they responded confidently and warmly. One thing is certain: We would choose this venue again anytime and are already looking forward to our next visits. Thank you so much for this unforgettable day!

I was there today with two work colleagues and ordered a pizza with tuna. We were also there with a dog, which is allowed in every year according to the house rules. The person opposite me wanted an extra portion of meat for his normal dish, which of course he wanted to pay for himself and in the end it turned out on the bill that an extra dish of €15 for 180 g of chicken had simply been charged. The sauce was missing and all three of us had a stomach ache after eating there, which doesn't mean it was of good quality. Even the espresso after our meal wasn't brought to our table because the waitress was simply not used to dealing with animals and didn't even want to go near the animal (note: the dog is a three-month-old puppy). I can't recommend this place to anyone given their price policy and strange service and I definitely wouldn't come here to eat again. It's a shame, because the place actually looks okay.

It was our first time at Deseo, there were four of us and we ordered different starters, main courses and desserts. Everything was beautifully presented and the quality of the food was excellent. The service was also perfect. Would love to come back.

At Deseo you get excellent quality and very friendly staff! I have rarely had such high quality food in Oldenburg. Lunch is also recommended. There are three price categories (12.90, 14.90, 16.90) and a small drink with each dish.

We were there with a medium-sized group (20). Another group was present (40). The atmosphere is modern and pleasant. The service was good and nice. Unfortunately the food wasn't on that level. Some of it was cold, too dark without any spice or in one case too spicy, unfortunately it doesn't correspond to the price level, which is a shame. The pizza comes very thin on the plate. The dough and the toppings of the Parma pizza were too bland for me. The desserts looked good. I'm a bit sorry for the nice staff to have to rate it like that, but unfortunately the price/performance ratio isn't right here, especially compared to other restaurants. The bad reviews are blocked by the operator on Google, but I give them 5 stars.🤣

Although the restaurant is actually nicely laid out and certainly has great seats, we were unfortunately seated in the last corner. We had a table for two and right next to it was a table for four, so we could of course see everything and, above all, hear what was going on at the neighboring table, but unfortunately it had little to do with fancy dining for two. The cards came immediately, but we had to wait a full 20 minutes for the drinks to be taken, which is clearly too long. I have to say that the service was also very bad; no one asked whether we wanted something to drink or whether we needed anything else. One had the feeling that we had been left behind, which was a shame. The food, on the other hand, was really good and because of that, we will probably give the restaurant another chance, everyone can have a bad day.

A very good restaurant..... highly recommended, but it had a little bit of a bad aftertaste that when billing, the boss promised after a round on the house, took the drinks and obviously sat down with good acquaintances and nothing happened 🤷🏻‍♂️ 🤷🏻‍♂️ Don't worry, we got something to drink somewhere else 😉🥂🥂

Everything at a very high level. Very tasty food, very extensive selection on the menu. Small changes are no problem, e.g. rice or fries instead of pasta. Ambience very tastefully chosen and plenty of space at the table, as well as a great team. That's what's coming.

The meal was excellent. The service was very nice and attentive. Only the waiting time of 1 hour for the food to arrive was a bit too long.

Recommendation. Pleasant atmosphere, good mix of chic and cozy and not too chic. The food is of high quality, the prices are not like those in Erna's snack bar, but they are within reasonable limits. Everything from pizza to grilled specialties is available. Tip: The tiramisu is excellent. It definitely wasn't the last visit!

Modern. Very nice staff. There were 14-16 people there. We waited about 50 minutes for the food. Unfortunately, my meat wasn't cooked all the way through, but was immediately put back on the pan at my request. It was delicious, the waitress, a pretty young woman, was super attentive and polite. The prices are pleasant per person. approx. 40-50€ including drinks.

We had a very nice lunch here. Great, modern atmosphere. Nice tables and easy to sit on. Delicious Italian cuisine. Good portions at fair prices. And the service is great - it stood out particularly positively!

I fell in love with this restaurant so much on my first visit and made another reservation straight away. I arrived on time for my reservation at 5 p.m. and was informed directly at reception that the table would be reserved again from 7:30 p.m. - no problem. When we didn't know what we wanted to eat at 5:15 p.m. we were given the information again. At 6:45 p.m. we were informed that we should please pay as the guests were already there. In my opinion, these guests were too early and perhaps they should have been seated at the bar for a moment. Or just give us a little invitation to a Marsalla or whatnot. But we just felt unwanted and thrown out. Otherwise I think this restaurant is wonderful, but I will soon use the other options that Oldenburg offers.

Over six months ago, a larger group registered with a desired arrangement in terms of places. On the day of the event everything was arranged as desired. As always, the food was very good and the service was outstanding. Always my pleasure.

One star for the fact that there was bread, dip and olives beforehand. The only positive thing about the evening. The blind was cold, tasteless, watery... I don't have the right words to describe it in more detail. About payment: my drink was no longer in the display when I wanted to pay. Another one was simply clicked on. When I pointed out that I didn't have this and that the one I clicked on was also more expensive, all I got was: mmhh strange, oh let's leave it like that and I was told the increased invoice amount. When I further commented that it was more expensive than my drink, I received the answer that I would be paid the difference because I paid by card. Unfortunately, I refused in annoyance. I'm annoyed that I didn't ask for the small difference to be paid out, because what the wait staff did was simply an impudence. My conclusion: Food.... Service..... You can't get over expensive, but not bad. And it was bad. Except for my comment as to why there is at least one star.

Very nice restaurant in Oldenburg. There is a wide range of pizza, pasta, meat and fish dishes, as well as many vegetarian dishes. The restaurant is modern and cozy. In the evening, indirect lighting and small lamps on the tables create a great ambience. The quality of the meat was always very good and the various sauces and side dishes were also great! We can fully recommend the restaurant :)

Das Restaurant hat eine tolle Einrichtung, der Garten bietet auch eine ganz gemütliche Atmosphäre für outside. Man erkennt gleich: das Personal arbeitet schon lange in dieser Konstellation zusammen. Sehr nett. Die Speisen waren durchweg lecker und sehr ansprechend arrangiert.

We ate very well, but if you wanted other pasta with your dish, you were charged a surcharge, which is not the case in other restaurants.

Am vergangenen Freitag waren wir zu einem schönen Abendessen im Deseo, jedoch gab es eine unschöne Überraschung. Trotz gut besuchtem Lokal war der Service zügig und freundlich. Bestellt haben wir als Vorspeiche die Bruschetta. Nach dem wir die Vorspeise erhalten haben, mussten wir feststellen, das am Brot Rand grüne und blaue Flecken zu erkennen waren. Auch gab es am Rand einen verbrannten Flaum. Die grünen und blauen Flecken wurden von uns als Schimmel identifiziert. Dezent haben wir die Bedienung zu uns geben und unsere Feststellung mitgeteilt. Die Bedienung hat die Bruschetta sofort mitgenommen und uns angeboten mit dem Geschäftsführer zu sprechen. An den Tisch kann eine weitere Bedienung und wir mussten unsere Feststellung erneut kundtun. Dieser hat uns erklärt, sie würden ausschließlich die beste Qualität verwenden und wir hätten uns geirrt. Daraufhin haben wir die Rechnung verlangt und angekündigt das Lokal zu verlassen. Im Hintergrund konnten wir jedoch hören, wie sich die Bedienungen Unterhalten haben, dass die farbigen Stücken am Rand, Oliven sein würden und die verbrannte Flaum vom Ofen komme. Beim Bezahlen wurde die Bruschetta nicht aufgeführt, sondern nur der Wein, von dem wir nach dem Fund nur einen Schluck genommen hatten. Auch hier wurde uns erneut versichert, wir hätten uns geirrt und alles sein in bester Ordnung. Auf mein Angebot die Bruschetta den anderen Kunden zu zeigen und zu beurteilen wer von uns beiden recht hat, wurde leider nicht eingegangen. Gründe und blaue Flecken am Brot Rand können nicht von einem Ofen oder Oliven stammen. Auch das man sich nicht einmal entschuldigt hat und versucht hat uns zu erklären wir würden uns irren, hat uns massiv gestört. Die nicht Aufnahme der Bruschetta auf der Rechnung war für uns allerding ein Teileingeständnis und für uns auch der letzte Besuch in diesem Lokal.

Last Friday we had a nice dinner at Deseo, but there was an unpleasant surprise. Despite the restaurant being busy, the service was quick and friendly. We ordered the bruschetta as a starter. After we received the starter, we noticed that there were green and blue spots on the edge of the bread. There was also some burnt fuzz on the edge. We identified the green and blue spots as mold. We discreetly approached the waitress and informed us of our findings. The waitress immediately took the bruschetta away and offered to speak to the manager. Another waitress was allowed to come to the table and we had to make our statement known again. He told us they only used the best quality and we were wrong. We then asked for the bill and announced that we were leaving the restaurant. However, in the background we could hear the waitresses talking about how the colored pieces on the edge would be olives and the burnt fluff was coming from the oven. When paying, the bruschetta wasn't listed, only the wine, which we only took a sip of after finding it. Here, too, we were assured again that we were wrong and that everything was fine. Unfortunately, my offer to show the bruschetta to the other customers and judge which of us was right was not taken up. Reasons and bruises on the edge of the bread cannot come from an oven or olives. The fact that they didn't even apologize and tried to explain to us that we were wrong really bothered us. Not including the bruschetta on the bill was a partial admission for us and it was also our last visit to this restaurant.

We went there spontaneously for dinner. The restaurant was very busy. Nevertheless, we got a nice table. The service was very friendly. The atmosphere is very nice and modern. Still comfortable. We had lasagne, spaghetti bolognese and a pizza. Both pasta dishes were extremely tasty. The pizza was good. All in all, a successful evening in a nice atmosphere with delicious food.

We have been here several times and can highly recommend this restaurant. The restaurant has an attractive atmosphere and the staff is always very friendly and attentive. The dishes on offer are not run-of-the-mill, but rather there are very different creations. Whether it's beef fillet, fish, homemade pasta or even pizza - the taste has convinced us every time. Appropriately seasoned with interesting sauces and side dishes. We've never felt the need to ask for salt and pepper. The prices tend to be on the “higher” range for local standards, but are absolutely reasonable for the overall package. We'd love to come back!

It's a shame that no cake is served, otherwise it's very well maintained and the atmosphere is nice
