Good kebab, nice employees! I can recommend.

I tried the kebab baguette at the Derya kebab shop, and the seller proudly told me that he baked the bread himself. The bread was definitely the highlight of this dish, and he explained that he deliberately made it softer, which was quite a good decision. The soft texture was a great fit and more pleasant than a classic French baguette or ciabatta, which are often too hard and brittle. The bread-topping ratio was also very well balanced. Personally, however, I would have liked a version similar to Vietnamese Banh Mi even better. A banh mi has a thin, crispy outer layer and a soft interior - this balance would have given the baguette a little more structure. Although the bread was toasted similar to a panini, unfortunately it didn't quite achieve the desired crispiness and it was a bit too tough. However, that could have been because I was there quite late and the bread fresh from the oven would probably have had the desired crunch. The taste was still very good, and the price of 6 euros was absolutely fair. A slightly larger baguette would also be a great option, although the price could then be increased slightly. Overall, the bread was delicious and gave the kebab a special touch that stood out from the rest.

The best lahmacun I've ever eaten! So delicious that we ate there twice during our 2-day stay nearby. Because of the size, the atmosphere is a snack bar, but that doesn't really matter. The service was super accommodating, warm and as I said, the food was super tasty 😋 We would definitely come back if we were in the area again! ☆☆☆☆☆

I was recently able to try out a new type of bread for the kebab baguette. I thought the bread was really tasty and hope that it will be included in the program.

As a change from the usual kebab, tried the Syrian shawarma today. It wasn't on the regular menu, but was advertised on a handwritten sign at the counter for €12. You are served a large portion with fries on the side and attractively decorated with some salad. The shawarma and sauces tasted excellent. The price for the quality and quantity is unbeatable, the portion was almost a bit too big, keep it up! The staff was friendly and even served small samples during preparation. “To take away” wasn’t a problem at all with the shawarma. This came on a large aluminum plate covered with aluminum foil and secured with a rubber band. This held up well on the journey.

Syrian Shoarma super delicious. Not to be compared with the Shoarma in the Netherlands. The salad with pomegranate seeds is also a really great option. Fries okay, it wouldn't have been necessary with Joppie sauce. I would have preferred hummus with it. That's why only four stars, sorry.

Doner kebab today? No, I was persuaded by a handwritten note on the counter saying “Syrian Shoama”! Curious and praised by the staff, I ventured into this culinary adventure. The family business has really worked hard to top a traditional Shoama plate with fresh ingredients/spices. What can I say, it tasted great, it really felt like I was eating oriental food. Different from the Europeanized kebab etc food. To be fair, I have to complain that the sauce was very vinegar-heavy. It takes some getting used to and probably won't suit the taste of the general public. But cooked with dedication. So full marks, keep it up.

I called there to order a pizza. Although it's nearing the end, it's still opening hours. Instead of answering “unfortunately we no longer deliver because X”, the answer was “absolutely not”. An outrage!

A wonderful, warmly run family business. Every time you visit, the food is of very high quality and generously portioned. Cleanliness 1a. No matter what you order, the menu is a culinary delight. Unbeatable price. You can also get delicious Syrian delicacies there. All in all, a great deal that I recommend 110% from the bottom of my heart. We like to come back again and again and say thank you.

We each had a kebab plate with fries, salad and tzatziki. And we were asked which meat we would like and he was happy to recommend that we try both. We found both very tasty, but my favorite was the chicken. In terms of quantity, it was a decent portion that we couldn't manage to eat completely. But that definitely wasn't the last time 👍😋

I got the Syrian shawarma today, I can really recommend it! Comes with fries and salad. I would have only wished for a homemade dip, not mayo and ketchup. In principle you don't need any sauce/dip, it's juicy enough. Her recommendation was to eat it while it was still hot. I don't live far, so it was perfect! 👌

Since I liked it very much, I got the food packed to take home. The place is clean. You can eat in or take away and there is also a delivery service. All in all TOP.

The rude owner speaks very bad German, the customers hardly understand it and makes stupid jokes. Such illegal immigrants are not welcome here. The best thing to do to make this shop was to get the health department involved, everything was unhygienic

This is the second time I've eaten pizza here (Pizza Inferno) and both times it was really tasty. The edge is crispy and the dough is nice and thin and soft! I'll definitely come back. The note with the increase of 1 euro for each dish could slowly be incorporated into the prices on the menu...

I liked that it was open until 8pm on Christmas Eve. However, the quality has deteriorated significantly since Vedat no longer owns it. Unfortunately, there are now kebabs in the area that are worlds tastier.

Mein Mann ist Italiener, somit war er sehr skeptisch was die Pizzaqualität angeht. Denn nur Italiener "können" Pizza! 🤣 Die bestellten Pizzas konnten aber seinem kritischen Gaumen wirklich standhalten. Wir haben unsere "Pizzaria" in Kalkar jetzt gefunden.

Wir hatten leckere und gut belegte Pizzen für die Kinder und der Dönerteller war ebenfalls sehr reichlich.

Schon öfters bestellt aber seit einigen Jahren wird es immer schlechter so das man 1bis 2 mal im jahr noch mal versucht ob es besser geworden ist. Wir haben diese woche zum 2 mal in diesem Jahr bestellt Wieder Pizzabrötchen ohne Kräuterbutter. Wieder hat der fahrer kein wechsel geld. (gerne gebe ich trink geld aber nicht auf dieser art) Überall bekommt man nee flasche dazu wenn man eine bestimmte menge hat. ( dieses mal über 50, anfang des jahres über 75 und nein so was gibt es wohl hier nicht mehr) Nudelgericht sehr grosse öl schicht. Bei der Magaritta eine salami dabei und kleines Stück plastik. Döner und Dürum komplett ohne Sosse. Da es ja im 10 km umkreis sehr viele gibt die mindestens so ein ausreichendes essen liefern kann man in zukunft dann doch lieber zur anderen rheinseite und hat wenigstens gut. Aber wir werden es irgend wann noch mal versuchen vor 20 jahren war Derya auch mal gut. Freundlichkeit des Fahrers stimmt und die Std warten passte auch.

Döner Teller abgeholt, Salat frischer kann er nicht sein. Preis Leistung sehr gut. Habe einen kleinen Dönerteller nicht geschafft. 5 Sterne macht weiter so.

Seit vielen Jahren gibt es nun bereits den DeryaGrill in Kalkar und das nicht ohne Grund. Das Essen ist lecker, der Preis okay, das Personal freundlich.... Nur das Ambiente ist sehr schlicht, dennoch kann man dort immerhin auch sitzend dinnieren.

Obwohl 45 Minuten angesagt waren stand der Lieferant bereits nach 25 Minuten vor der Tür und die Pizza war einfach spitze! Sehr zu empfehlen

De pizza (kaas zelf) is te zoutig. Geen mozzarella als basis. Geen pinautomaat aanwezig.

Hatte einen Falafel Döner. War super lecker ! Das Personal ist sehr freundlich zu einem und das Essen schmeckt auch ! Werde gerne wieder hier hin kommen !

Kleiner Imbiss mit wenigen Plätzen . Türkischer Imbiss mit italienischer Pizza und französischem Wandgemälde . Es war sauber und das Essen war lecker . Die Mitarbeiter waren freundlich. Würden trotzdem beim nächsten Mal lieber den Lieferdienst nehmen . Ist jetzt nicht so super gemütlich dort , aber es ist ja auch nur ein Imbiss und kein Restaurant. Preise sind ok .

Lieferung war zeitlich wie angegeben. Leider war das essen aber einfach nur kalt. Es gab von der Temperatur zwar noch einen unterschied zum Salat aber wirklich keinen großen. Pommes waren beim Schnitzel nicht angegeben sodass wir - 4 € - (für eine Pommes), in die Tonne schmeißen konnten, da es damit dann zu viele waren. Da die Pommes aber eh komplett kalt/matschig und (zumindest gefühlt) nicht durchgebacken waren, ist es nicht schlimm (nur schade ums Geld). Die Portion eines großen Dönertellers war für den Preis einfach zu klein. Woanders bekommt man eine größere Portion, günstiger und ohne unterscheidung von klein/groß. Geschmacklich war es gut (Schnitzel, Dönerteller und Pizza), deswegen gibt es doch noch einen 2. Stern, wobei es kalt einfach wesentlich weniger gut schmeckt. Das ärgerliche ist einfach nur, dass der Laden im selben Ort, ca. 4 Straßen entfernt ist und das essen wahrscheinlich ca. 30 - 45 Minuten in der Box war. Leider konnte der Fahrer nicht wirklich deutsch, dass fließt aber nicht in der Bewertung mit ein.

Wir waren enttäuscht. Die Tzatziki-Soße war laff, die Pizzabrötchen nicht durch gebacken und das Döner-Fleisch war knorpelig, teils hatte es kaum eine Bräunung.
