Der Wok in Flörsheim am Main

Tasty food, good selection and good prices.

We stopped by Wok Flörsheim today on a bike ride. The ambiance isn't that great. But the Wok is apparently moving soon because the building is being demolished. That's not a problem, though, because the Wok isn't gone, it's just moving. The Wok will remain open until the end of May 2025, after which it will move about 200 meters away to a better location. The new address will be "Alte Hochheimer Strasse 16," also in Flörsheim. Now, to the most important point: the food, the prices, and the service: We sat down outside because of the nice weather. We were immediately served very nicely, and all our questions were answered very kindly. We immediately noticed the owner's friendly manner and, of course, the reasonable prices. We ordered three duck noodles: two "Kunpu-style" duck in hosin sauce and one "Canton-style" duck in garlic sauce. When the dishes were placed on the table, we were more than pleasantly surprised. (Take a look at the pictures) Great portions and it looked very good too. Something for the eyes and especially for the mouth. It tasted absolutely exceptional. It was really amazing. We hadn't expected it to be so good. We're really looking forward to the next time we can stop there on our bike tour to try more. It's a really great tip. The prices are reasonable and the service and food are top-notch. Thank you for that. We felt very comfortable. Keep up the good work.

I often eat there with my friends. The food always tastes just as good and is freshly prepared in front of you. Very nice people there. Only recommended👍

The Wok has long been more than just a restaurant - it is a fixture in and around Flörsheim. The quality of the food is consistent, everything is fresh, tasty and prepared quickly. Whether it's take-away or on-site, you'll always receive friendly service here. You immediately notice that there is experience and passion behind it. If you love Asian food, you should definitely stop by Der Wok!

I've been eating here off and on for years. So far I've never been disappointed and the staff has always been super nice to me :) Should stop by more often 😄 Prices are great and the portions are great! Very very tasty! I also received food very quickly. Thank you !

Really lovely, clean little restaurant with lovely staff (I think the owners). The lady who served us was so lovely. Very reasonably priced food and the best duck I've had in ages! Mostly lots of tender meat with a very thin layer of crispy fat on top. At first it was very quiet in there and we couldn't understand why, as it was already after 7pm, but soon afterwards people started streaming in for take away orders.

Fried rice with baked chicken breast and peanut sauce, too strong!

I ordered food in the store and it was brought to me in a box even though I had clearly stated that I wanted to eat in the store and after I asked if I could get a plate, the chef said in a rude tone that there would be no plate for me because I looked foreign

As a family of 4, we order there often and can report the following: - Always easy to reach, by phone and online - Fast service - Friendly staff, also with a smile (and the chef is really busy) - A polite(!) request is happy to be complied with, as is the case at the table in the restaurant - Good price/performance ratio - Decent portions - Tastes good Please form your own opinion of the wok and do not rely on every review.

We ate in the Laben and a dish was brought to us in the box. When we asked if we could have a plate, the employee simply said “no!” said... when we were finished eating, the employee asked us about our Google review. After we expressed our criticism, he insulted us as a stupid, a**hole, pimple freak. In addition, the employee almost became violent.

Would like to give 0 stars... the staff can't handle criticism... Furthermore, the self-proclaimed "head chef" was quite aggressive and became personal with various insults... He then ran after me after leaving the shop, shouted at me and almost got physical, if another customer hadn't held him back. I recommend you all not to visit this store to save yourself some stress.

No. 01 to go. They made it more expensive but the taste was bad and the meat was thinner...far too little meat...very little vegetables...the pasta was almost tasteless...I'm out! Ordered last time!

Ordered food to pick up. It was prepared within 10 minutes The lady was very friendly and accommodating. There was a free addition from sambalOlek. The food was fresh, hot and delicious. The price is absolutely right, €7.50 for a huge portion of fried rice with baked chicken.

Hab die Nr 01a zum mitnehmen bestellt. War noch nie dort. Gebratene Nudeln mit Gemüse und knusprige Hähnchen,für sage und schreibe: SIEBEN-FÜNFZIG € Nudeln waren leider nicht gebraten, die wurden aus heißem Wasser geholt und NICHT mehr angebraten und waren ohne Geschmack. Vom Gemüse und Sprossen war kaum was zu sehen. 2 Stifte Karotten und 2 Stückchen Chinakohlstrunk und ca 10 Sprossen. Die Hähnchenteile waren sehr kross gebacken, aber geschmacklos, nämlich NICHT gewürzt. UND DAFÜR SO VIEL GELD ZU VERLANGEN. Ohne mich. Das hat mich sehr geärgert 😠.

Glutamat hin oder her - hier wird super asiatisch frisch gekocht… Suuper lecker, günstig und ein ganz nettes Familien-Team in der Küche und hinterm Tresen… Immer wieder gerne…!!!

Wir kommen schon sehr lange zum Essen in den Wok und waren noch nie unzufrieden! Das Essen ist immer frisch zubereitet und toll verpackt oder vor Ort angerichtet. Die Inhaber sind immer sehr freundlich und aufmerksam auch zu Kindern immer sehr lieb. Wir konnten schon viele unserer Bekannten und Verwandten überzeugen dort zu Essen oder zu ordern. Parkmöglichkeiten sind gut vor Ort. Alle immer top zufrieden. Klare Empfehlung für den Wok !!

Essen ist gut. Leider werden aber auch hier gesunde Menschen diskriminiert. Nicht einmal draußen wollte man uns sitzen lassen. Wo soll das noch hinführen?

Lunchtime visit with the whole family. Staff were lovely and very welcoming. They were kind to the kids and gave advice on child-friendly options. Food was excellent. Red curry in particular was spicy and really full of flavour. The bami goreng too was lovely. Will be back next time in Hesse.

Typisch Chinesische Gerichte, lecker und frisch zubereitet. Nettes Personal. Die Gerichte sind schnell zubereitet. Im Restaurant selbst befindet sich zudem eine Sushibar. Die persönlichen Erfahrungen sind gut.

Netter Kontakt auf hessisch! Grosse Portionen to go ! Für den kleinen Geldbeutel! Wir haben eben telefonisch geordert und pünktlich vor Ort abgeholt, sonstigen Service etc. kann ich nicht beurteilen. Werde dort wieder was holen!

Klein aber Fein!! Gutes Asia Essen zu kleinen preisen. Wie man zu solchen Preisen eine solche Qualität liefern kann, bemerkenswert. Es zeichnet sich von anderen ab mit tollen Thailändischen Gerichten. Dann noch die Auswahl an Fischgerichten, bei welchem Asiaten gibt es Zb. Filet von der Dorade? Kien der Koch und seine Frau machen das super. Dieser kleine Familien geführte Betrieb ist wirklich Klasse. Volle 5 Sterne, ein Asia Imbiss der gehobenen Klasse!
