We celebrated our small wedding with 36 people in the coach house. From the advance communication with Ms. Kuhlmann and the compilation of the menu and planning of the day to the service on the day itself, everything was perfect! The coach house was beautifully furnished and the great fireplace and radiant heater meant it was nice and warm despite the cold outside. All special food requests were taken into account and the food was really delicious! The service was also great and our contact person on the day also took care of the further cutting and distribution of the wedding cake. I can highly recommend the Seekrug and would celebrate here again and again! Thank you again!

We spontaneously had dinner here today. Very very nice service. The food was very tasty and came quickly. Special requests were addressed without any problems.

The older service worker seemed overwhelmed and annoyed when we wanted to order. The guests next to us were also reprimanded that the order of their order was out of order and was messing up their system. We found the reaction to our request to order to be very unfriendly. Update: It seems to be very OK for you that guests get the impression that they are not welcome. Whether it's busy or not, there's no reason to treat guests like this. If that is the claim that our money is not welcome with you, then so be it.

Went there with a group and had ordered the dishes in advance. Everything was super organized and quick service. Only the dessert included in the combined starter and dessert offer was a very liquid yoghurt in a glass, so I would have expected a little more. Otherwise everything was very tasty.

I was a guest there as a DJ for a Christmas party, a very competent and nice host and great staff.

I can actually only say positive things. The food has always been satisfactory. The indoor catering kitchen has changing menus, which means that it doesn't always have the same thing on it. Nice change. What's equally good is that there isn't too much on it, but every dish I've eaten there so far tastes great. Good regional cuisine! The service is just as positive. So far I've never had to wait long and the service was super friendly. Every now and then you ask in an appropriate and unobtrusive manner whether everything tastes good, etc. The ambience is also great. The small back room is also charming and quaint. We were able to do this, for example: B. make a reservation at short notice for a meal with the family. Eating and drinking in or in front of the old half-timbered house. It is just as inviting and cozy outside in summer. We like going here. Great opening times and always great for a short (or longer) stop while taking a walk along Obersee.

The coffee is absolutely outrageously bad. It's too thin and tastes burnt. There is only condensed milk. But it is absolutely overpriced. Couldn't drink the beer today. In itself a really cool location that I visit again and again. The food is ok. This review therefore refers exclusively to the coffee. Answer: I think regular milk would be nice as an alternative option. The reason I didn't complain was because I've never been impressed by the coffee. After about the tenth coffee with you, I was really frustrated. But it's true: not talking to you directly wasn't okay. You can think about the quality of the coffee and I'll adjust the review to neutral. After all, I don’t want to damage your business. Merry Christmas to you and your team too!

We called there twice today and were rushed away both times. At first it was said that the first colleague had explained everything to us incorrectly and that it couldn't be found under events. Then suddenly it was said that we should get professional help. This is hard to beat in terms of unfriendliness and impudence! Based on our experiences, we probably won't visit this restaurant again.

The restaurant itself is great. The stalls in front try to rip you off. Currywurst €3.50, fries €3.00. Prices like at the gas station. It's better to pack your own food. Unfortunately, even after 5 years of this review, it is still massively overpriced for the services it offers. Half liter of beer for almost €6. And that’s self-service. Too bad! Fine for employer celebrations. As a matter of principle, I don't go here personally. But it still seems to be able to hold up that way.

Good but not very good, variable quality of food and service

Great for a stop after a walk in Obersee. Small but fine menu with regional dishes and products at reasonable prices. The attentive service and the ambience of the restaurant ensure a high quality of stay. When the weather is nice, the terrace invites you to linger.

Unfortunately we only got a place in a kind of winter garden, so I can't say much about the ambience. Service in this location was self-service, hence only 3 stars. But the staff was very nice and helpful. Schnitzel with fries and salad was delicious and a really big portion for €15.50 👍🏻. In summer you can definitely sit outside very well, there are plenty of seats. The Seekrug is located directly on the Obersee, so you can easily take a break there after walking around the lake.

Always beautiful!! A little vacation from everyday life. We'd love to come back.

On October 18th I was at the Seekrug Bielefeld with my family. Whenever I visit Bielefeld, I love going there. The food is delicious and sufficient, the atmosphere is very cozy, the service is friendly. I always feel very comfortable there as a guest and it certainly wasn't my last visit there. 10/2024: Another successful evening at Seekrug 😊 Schnitzel Casino.... A cool idea!!!! Schnitzel fried perfectly, fried potatoes beautifully spicy. And the surprise dessert was terrific. Lemon sorbet with mint on warm berries 🤤 12/2023: A great Christmas market on Lake Obersee, beautifully decorated with great attention to detail.

Sometimes the sausage and fries stand is open, sometimes not. It was closed for us. As an alternative we had overpriced coffee and cake. You have to be patient when using it, it takes forever. It tasted delicious and we were able to enjoy the last rays of sunshine in the huge beer garden.

Everything is far too expensive

Better not to expect too much: fries, mayo and bratwurst were really bad. I can't rate other dishes, but I won't try anything there again. Rooms very rustic. Staff could be friendlier. Ideal for a cycling break in summer with cold drinks and friends.

From hearty classics like bratwurst and schnitzel dishes to regional specialties like Westphalian Pickert, there is something for every taste. The fresh, crisp salads are also a great option for those who prefer something lighter. The quality of the dishes is consistently excellent - everything is freshly prepared and lovingly served. A special highlight is the terrace with its wonderful view of Lake Obersee. Here you can enjoy the view in a relaxed atmosphere while treating yourself to a cup of coffee and a piece of cake. When the weather is good, it is particularly nice to sit outside and watch the sunset over the lake. There is also a lot for children to discover here. Several Kettcars are available to whiz around. The new ADAC bicycle repair station is also exemplary. The service at Seekrug is also first-class - friendly, attentive and always striving to make the guests' stay as pleasant as possible. All in all, Seekrug offers a perfect mix of delicious food, great ambience and warm service. Highly recommended!

Beautiful half-timbered house. New operation. Prices are a little higher but the food is also freshly prepared and very tasty. The portions are large.

Hardly or very difficult to reach with a wheelchair because of the thick cobblestones. The food was OK (I still don't know what the cold, cheap BBQ sauce on the roast beef was supposed to be... The waitresses were very nice and accommodating. (Note: The thing about the cobblestones was only intended as a reference for future visits by wheelchair users and not as a criticism)

I spontaneously decided to take a break here today when I read on maps that there was a sweet potato and ginger soup. Please note that the menu is currently not up to date on Google Maps. To be on the safe side, please check the Seekrug's new website. My alternative choice of red lentil soup with coconut was incredibly delicious! Despite the large number of customers, the service was very quick and extremely cheerful. The toilet was very clean and equipped with toilet seat disinfectant. I really enjoyed it here and would definitely come back!

Delicious food and a great ambience. We would have liked to have stayed longer, there was a wedding starting at 3 p.m. and all the best to the bride and groom.

We were here when it was very quiet. Good coffee and delicious rhubarb pie. Very friendly service. The only downside is the not so fresh smelling toilets.

Was here 4 times this year. The first three times it was good value for money, today it was a complete disaster. Fries anything but fresh and not enough compared to usual, lemonades weak in content because ingredients were missing (statement of service) and mint leaves wilted or worse. I understand the move when it's not in season but I'm not willing to bear the price. I also don't understand why the "driveway" has to be so bumpy. There's no fun in it, no matter how you get there.

I can't comment on the food because we didn't eat anything. But the surrounding area with mini golf, Kettcar offers and the reservoir itself is definitely worth it.

We are always here to play volleyball, during breaks you can get drinks at Düne 13 and then you can get something to eat here at Seekrug. There is something for every palate here, for us there are always fries and currywurst at a stall in front of the Seekrug. Highly recommended in any weather!

We won't be coming back. “The Seekrug” is a moderately serious catastrophe. We ordered a fries, the card said €3.50, but suddenly it said €3.90 on the card machine. The employee was unfriendly, no hello, no please/thank you. We sat down, unfortunately our table was cleared but sticky. Later we ordered a coffee, it was inedible... the table next door had left 4 half-full glasses, so it was clear to us why 😂 So sorry, but it just doesn't taste good. We wanted to eat something else, so we ordered the cucumber salad together. What an unappetizing “food”. Thin slices of cucumber in yogurt with a piece of bread? How come you offer this for €7.90? Especially if the card doesn't suggest that you get such a bowl (see photos). (Addendum) I forgot to mention the beach bar/the “beach”. That was actually nicely done, even if €5.90 for a non-alcoholic beer borders on cheeky. You could have stayed there longer. Now we come to the hygiene deficiencies. The woman who later worked at the chip shop wore blue gloves the whole time. Prepared food with it, spent money, rubbed her nose, drank from her bottle... the tray on which we got our fries was smeared all over with ketchup or something. The Asian noodles that were available today were fried in a wok, but were first transferred from a plastic container that had been used for another purpose. It doesn't have to be that way... Since the owner also seems to make rude comments here, I'm looking forward to it. It's great that you've been around for 30 years. Glad you think your food is delicious. We just didn't like it and that's not an appropriate response to criticism. Prices were sometimes excessive, even for the location, and sometimes too cheap. Fries €3.90, latte €4.20, yogurt-cucumber mix €7.90 and baked potato with quark €12.90 - huh? All in all, we probably won't come back.

I'll put up with that 😎 Only 3 stars because: ATTENTION: The unmown high lawn is a tick deterrent and will keep me away from there in the future. Both hefty prices should include mowing. Unfortunately, savings are being made incorrectly here 😪

The ambience is nice but not something to stay in for a long time (chairs are very uncomfortable), prices are also very steep. The wasp infestation is also very annoying, even if you can't help it.

Right on the Obersee, there is a beach bar next to it. It is open every day without a break. Prices are ok, although €5.90 is pretty decent for a non-alcoholic drink. It is well attended, especially by cyclists.

Unfortunately, we were no longer able to test the service and food that day at 8:45 p.m....

I like it when the really good staff know the food and drinks on offer, can make recommendations and are attentive. Special wishes? No problem! A great outdoor area with nice guests. Of course, thumbs up for the delicious food.

There is always a lot going on at Seekrug and when the weather is nice you rarely get a seat outside at the café. Since we were there a little later, the cake was already at the bistro, the cake was ok, but there was no real cream there.

Nice beer garden, not so crowded, especially during the week, and very important, there's Almdudler here 🇦🇹

The Seekrug is always worth a trip

As always wonderful. We recommend. Kind and courteous.

I like the Beach Club best. But also the restaurant, the many types of cake, especially rhubarb cake 😋 and the french fries stall. There are treats for everyone and ice cream for dessert😋. Extremely delicious.

So in general - the staff doesn't seem to know friendliness, but they do ask for tips. The toilet facilities are an imposition - you can't imagine what it looks like in the areas that you can't see. Many people don't seem to know that the french fries and pizza shops are part of the Seekrug. Fries are not recommended: fries that have already been fried and cooled are briefly put AGAIN in the oil in front of the guest and carelessly slapped onto a paper plate. So you pay for disgusting, at least twice fried, lukewarm fries!

The service is tried hard but unfortunately there are long waiting times. Unfortunately the food didn't taste good. Ready-made veggie petties that were dry and the sauce was inedible.

We were there on Sunday. Self-service is the order of the day. Wheat .....11.80 € Bratwurst.....3.90 € with 1/2 toast (not really hot) Fries €3.90......Mayonnaise or ketchup extra bowl €1. Do you have to decide for yourself whether it's worth it!?

A very nice excursion destination in Bielefeld/OWL, where you can unwind for a while. In Seekrug you can also indulge in a variety of dishes and it is also very easy to reach for people with physical disabilities.

A beer 5.90... but everything else is crispy? It's nice there (hence the second star) but the prices are outrageous considering you have to walk half an hour from the parking lot. Toilet costs too. I'm very disappointed, at least the prices used to be fair.
