Der Pommesbauer in Oberhausen

War bei meiner Tochter zu Besuch und haben dort Essen bestellt und abgeholt, ist nur quer über die Straße. Sehr leckere Pommes, einfach super. Bedienung sehr freundlich und für den Preis sehr viel Pommes. Wohne sehr weit entfernt, würde ich dort wohnen würde ich dort immer meine Pommes holen

Wenn ich könnte, würde ich gar keine Sterne geben. Haben heute hier bestellt. Bis auf die Currywurst war alles maximal kaputt-frittiert und oder es wurde scheinbar altes Fett benutzt. Alle frittierten Speisen waren viel zu dunkel, haben verbrannt geschmeckt und waren teilweise steinhart oder absolut labrig. Die Currywurst war okay. (Vermutlich weil es das einzige nicht frittierte war.) Wir mussten einfach 90% der Bestellung sofort wegwerfen. Sowas so zuzubereiten und dann rauszugeben und zu erwarten, dass die Leute das auch noch essen, und dafür bezahlen ist absolut inakzeptabel. Frittierte Speisen zählen nicht grad zu den gesunden Lebensmitteln. Aber generell Lebensmittel in so einem ranzigen und verbrannten Zustand rauszugeben sehe ich trotzdem als höchstbedenklich und respektlos gegenüber jedem Gast. Nie wieder!

Extraklasse dieser Laden! Die Frau die uns die Leckereien zubereitet hat war sehr nett, authentisch und wirklich zuvorkommend. Wir durften Soßen probieren und hatten dank der tollen Bedienung und der top Curry Wurst ein rundes Ruhrpott experience 🙏😊

Wir haben heute den Fehler gemacht und über Lieferando bestellt. Nie wieder!!! Ich habe mich nach einer 2 Stündigen Wartezeit, telefonisch mit dem Restaurant in Verbindung gesetzt. Die Dame am Telefon war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und erklärte mir, dass Lieferando nur ein externer Lieferservice sei und Sie da leider kein Einfluss drauf habe . Lange Rede kurzer Sinn..im Endeffekt habe ich das Essen selbst im Restaurant abgeholt, weil Lieferando leider nicht in der Lage war zu liefern. Ich werde in Zukunft direkt im Restaurant bestellen bei den lieben Damen, die sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend waren. Vielen Dank für den lieben Service.

Sehr gute Portionen und sehr nette bedienung .

Mittlerweile mehrfach bestellt, und leider jedes Mal dasselbe Problem. Sehr lange Wartezeit, die sich in der Lieferando App immer wieder zurücksetzt, sodass man anstatt von 15 Minuten insgesamt regelmäßig über 1-2 Stunden aufs Essen wartet. Zudem wurde bereits mehrfach das Essen gar nicht geliefert, da angeblich die Fahrer das Haus nicht finden konnten. Eine alternative oder nachträgliche Lieferung konnte uns auch nicht angeboten werden. Schade, wir bestellen ab sofort nichtmehr dort.

Pommes vollgezogen mit altem Fett. Voll ekelig!!! Verkäuferin wurde auch unverschämt und hat einfach aufgelegt. Habe noch nieeee so alte Pommes gegesen, mit allem Fett zubereitet!!!! Nie wieder!

Mit Abstand die beste Pommes-Bude in Oberhausen ! Die selbstgemachten Pommes sind der absolute Hit !! Jedes,wirklich,jedes Gericht schmeckt 1a ! Mein Favorit zur Zeit sind die neuen Chicken-Burger😋😋😋,unglaublich lecker !! Ich kann den Pommesbauer nur jedem empfehlen !!

Essen vor Ort, die frischen Pommes sind himmlisch! Das Schnitzel war ebenfalls völlig in Ordnung, im Menü mit hausgemachten Salat und frischen Pommes, ist der Preis vollkommen gerechtfertigt. Die Portion war groß. Saucen leider etwas teurer. Die Dame hinter der Theke ist sehr freundlich und gut gelaunt. Die Getränke Auswahl ist auch groß, im Vergleich zu anderen Pommesbuden. Treue Kunden werden auch belohnt, ich werde häufiger vorbeischauen. Da nahezu überall die Tiefkühl Pommes dominieren, hier nicht! Es gibt noch andere Hausgemachte Spezialitäten wie z.B. Frikadellen. Die komplette holländische Bandbreite ist auch vertreten für alle die es mögen. Die negativen Rezensionen beziehen sich ja überwiegend auf den Lieferservice, ich persönlich würde mir Pommes grundsätzlich nicht liefern lassen allein die Abholung gefährdet den Geschmack etc. Danke

Wir haben heute das 1. mal dort bestellet, kommt nicht wieder vor. Mit 5 Personen haben wir alle maximal lauwarmes Essen erhalten. Ich hatte Bratkartoffeln für einen Aufpreis für 3,10€, anstatt Pommes-eine absolute Frechheit. Auf dem Bild sieht man ja wieviel das war!!!! Das Schnitzel an sich war ok, aber auch kein Highlight. Die Pommes nach den anderes Aussagen gut. Wir werden dort nicht mehr bestellen, da man sich bei den Preisen abgezockt und veräppelt vorkommen!

Am liebsten würde ich gar keinen Stern geben für den frechen Service. Wir haben vor 2 Stunden über Lieferando bestellt. Vor ungefähr 30 min haben wir bei den Pommesbauer angerufen und gefragt, ob das Essen schon unterwegs ist. Ein sehr genervter und unverschämter Mitarbeiter sagte nur er wüsste auch nicht was mit dem Lieferanten sei, da kann er nichts machen , es handelt sich um einen Drittanbieter und wir sollen uns mit Lieferando in Verbindung setzen. Nach etwas Diskussion sagte er, er setzt sich mit Lieferando in Verbindung und meldet sich bei uns. Auf den Anruf können wir scheinbar lange warten. Kundenzufriedenheit wir hier scheinbar ganz groß geschrieben.

Die beste Currywurst die ich seid langem gegessen habe. Hier wird alles Haus gemacht ( auch die Pommes ). Die Pommes waren sehr sehr lecker und das Preis Leistungsverhältniss war top. Wir kommen gerne wieder

Die Bewertung bezieht sich auf ein Essen zur Lieferung (1 StundeWartezeit), daher keine Bewertung über das Ambiente. Die Pommes waren insgesamt recht dunkel frittiert und wenig gesalzen. Die Käsesoße war extrem wässrig und hat nach gar nichts geschmeckt. Aber Ketchup und Mayo waren lecker.... für uns lohnt sich eine Wiederholung nicht.

Einmal mindestens im Jahr zieht es uns von Moers nach Oberhausen um die fantastischen Pommes zu genießen. Wahlweise mit Schaschlik oder Frikandel spezial.Heute gab es eine Geschmacksexplosion. Eine neue Kartoffel hat es auf den Teller geschafft. Danke für das leckere Essen.

Wir sind seit Anfang an Gäste und kommen immer wieder und fühlen uns wie zu Hause. Pro tipp: nimmt man die Pommes mit nach Hause, die tüte aufmachen und die Pommes atmen lassen. Simone und ihr Team is, wie man sich halt den Ruhrpott vorstellt.

Als Vegetarierin kam ich sehr selten in den Genuss gute Currywurst-Pommes zu essen. Wir besuchen den Pommesbauern nun regelmäßig und sind immer mehr als zufrieden. Es gibt eine große Auswahl an vegetarischen & veganen Gerichten und natürlich auch alles mögliche an Fleisch und Fisch. Das Essen schmeckt immer richtig gut, die Salate sind selbst gemacht und die Besitzerin ist einfach nur super sympathisch und nett. Eine absolute Empfehlung!!

Der Service ist einfach unschlagbar. Genauso wie man es sich wünscht. Essen ist regional wird frisch zubereitet und schmeckt fantastisch. Absolute Empfehlung!

Waren sei langer Zeit mal wieder dort und waren ziemlich enttäuscht. Die Qualität hat spürbar nachgelassen. Ist mittlerweile eine x-beliebige Frittenbude geworden die sich nicht besonders lohnt. Die in der Fritteuse aufgewärmte Frikadelle ist nicht mehr mit den bisherigen zu vergleichen (nur ein Stern). Dafür braucht man keine längeren Wege mehr zurück zu legen.

Dutzende Male vorbei gefahren. Jetzt endlich mal Pommes probiert, die richtig lecker waren mit hausgemachter warmer Smokey BBQ Sauce. Die Kartoffeln werden hier gewaschen, geschält und geschnitten. Die Variationen sind vielfältig. Saucen gibt es kalt und warm. Die warmen sind hausgemacht. Die Kinderspielecke ist unübersehbar. Gerade jetzt ist das selbstgemachte Schaschlik angesagt - mit Glühweinsauce! Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit der Qualität des Essens und der Bedienung und kommen wieder. Empfehlung.

Schnitzel sind hausgemacht - sehr lecker und zart trotz Fritteuse! Pommes sind von frischen Kartoffeln - ungewöhnlich, aber sehr lecker. Die Currywurst ist klassisch - und schmeckt. Nichts besonderes. Leider wurde eine Frikandel auf Nachfrage als Vegan ausgewiesen, weshalb wir diese bestellten - ist jedoch nur vegetarisch. Wichtig: Vegan und vegetarisch sind nicht das gleiche. Auf der Tafel ist es korrekt ausgewiesen. Es gibt vegane Mayonnaise - diese war lecker. Es sind große Portionen - die Preis Leistung stimmt definitiv. Wer mal ein wirklich leckeres Schnitzel essen möchte kommt her. Wir werden nochmal vorbei kommen 👍🏻

We went there for the first time, and I'm extremely disappointed. The Puszta balls tasted awful and were burnt. We all tried them, and not even the dog wanted them. The fries were either undercooked or dark and hard. I've never had such a bad meal. Once, and never again.

The worst food I've ever eaten! The fries are dark and inedible. When I got home (less than 3 minutes away), the dark things were dripping with grease and wobbly. Even fresh, these fries wouldn't have tasted good. If I had seen what was packaged, I wouldn't have paid for the food or eaten it. The Pusta balls are burnt, rock-hard, and tasteless. I've never paid almost €10 for a currywurst and then received such terrible quality. Never again!

You can immediately taste the difference from frozen ones. The currywurst was also perfect: juicy, well-seasoned, and with a really delicious sauce. Added to that was the super friendly service, which made the visit here particularly pleasant.

I ate Currywurst with my family at the Töpfer Bauer Currywurst, the food was very tasty and the portions were good, the children had fun because there was a lot to paint. The friendly service complements the good food.

Ordered from the fries farmer via Ubereats for the first time today. Putting it together was a bit difficult because everything had to be ordered individually. The mountain of garbage upon delivery is correspondingly high. Delivery came very quickly and was still warm (but nothing more). A portion of fries was missing from delivery. Stupid, but it can happen. Schnitzel was ok, could have been seasoned more. The taste of the hunter sauce that was ordered with it was not to my liking. I was missing spice there too. Unfortunately, the pusztaballs were shortly before burnt and correspondingly dry. The accompanying shash sauce, on the other hand, was very tasty. The salads were both very tasty and are a good base. The fries were or are GREAT even if a portion was missing. Overall, the first impression wasn't the best and we won't order anything again. In my opinion the price-performance ratio is not right.

I gave the pommesbauet another chance! Unfortunately in vain! The schnitzel was just about ok, the gypsy sauce was extremely limited and tasted bad, the fries were really catastrophic, countless completely burnt fragments, the mayonnaise, well. And at a price that is far too high for this poor quality! I'll steer clear of the chip maker! Too bad! 👎

Sorry, I was probably at the wrong snack bar. Was there for the last time today on November 20th, 2024. Because every time was for what reasons? well, it doesn’t matter. The 9th attempt probably also failed. From now on I'm going back to Schmachtendorf, although it's a little further away as we know they're closed on Mondays.

Insanely delicious French fries!

The currywurst was very well seasoned. The fries were crispy and delicious. Definitely homemade. The mayonnaise was between the fries so that half of it didn't stick to the paper. Very happy again.

The French fries farmer is the address in the Ruhr area when it comes to fresh, homemade French fries... It's been number one for me for years and proof that fries can make you happy Here the fries are made in-house from fresh potatoes. The owner, an absolute original with her heart in the right place, works with a farmer who grows potatoes especially for her... a chip shop with its own field. The schnitzels are made and breaded in-house and many of the salads are homemade, as are the meatballs and shish kebab. Frikandel and currywurst are also available in veggie, or even vegan, but I didn't really notice that. Here you get very good quality and good portions... special requests are easily accommodated EC card is possible, customer toilet is available, the seats are comfortable, children's play area is also available. I usually take a currywurst with medium fries and on top homemade braised onions and jalapenos, with mayo or samurai sauce. A clear recommendation is also the paprika cream schnitzel... with homemade paprika cream sauce with Ayvar... very tasty For me, a visit is always like visiting good friends...

We went to the restaurant shortly before 9 p.m. on the way home and were a little hungry. Everyone wanted a quick portion of fries and even though everything was already clean and cleared away, we were still greeted and served very friendly. Our waiting time was sweetened by a super friendly employee 👌🏼😊 And the boss of the house actually gave us technical information about fries and how to prepare them. I found the atmosphere really appealing and clean. But the fries were absolutely amazing! The last time I ate such delicious fries outside was so long ago that I can no longer remember! Crispy on the outside, buttery soft on the inside, so, so delicious and tasty. Even my husband was thrilled and that's not easy. Absolute recommendation! We'll definitely be back. 👌🏼😍

The best fries in the Ruhr area. The potatoes are grown specifically for this snack. Very tasty homemade salads. Be sure to be hungry as the portions are quite large.

On the way from Bocholt to Dortmund we actually asked Chat-GPT about a good chip shop nearby. This was pretty much the best fries/currywurst we've had in a long time! French fries special with a chalapenio curry sauce, totally great! On plates of a sensible size. The place is small and quaint, everything is pickle-clean and even the toilet is stylish. We're a little sad now that we don't have this chip shop in Dortmund. Absolutely recommended!

A cute little snack bar. We were fed by a very nice lady who was obviously alone in the shop. The currywurst with fries was a poem. We absolutely recommend “The Fries Farmer”.

Shish kebab was good, unfortunately the fries advertised were wobbly and quite greasy. You should have a look there. Wouldn't eat these again. It's your figurehead.

The fries are very tasty. The waitresses are friendly and the service is quick. I like that vegan alternatives are offered, both currywurst and various vegan sauces. I was always given good advice about what kind of sauces there were and what different vegan sausages were sold.

Went to the french fries farmer shortly before work today (I just came from work and was hungry 😞). I asked politely if I could order something else. The nice lady took my order (pepper cream schnitzel with fries and cucumber/beetroot salad). Everything was freshly prepared. When we got home the food was still hot and very tasty. I can only highly recommend this snack bar, lots of choice at good prices.

Bought the homemade meatballs last week. Unfortunately not enough curry sauce! The fries were way too hard and there were a lot of fragments in them. Conclusion: In the initial phase in the post it was of great quality, which I also publicly praised. There isn't much left of it! Unfortunately!

We still know the chip maker from Alstaden and thank God he followed us. 😉 The range of food on offer is very extensive and the dishes we have had so far (including schnitzel, currywurst and fried fish) have always been very tasty. Sometimes I even go to the french fries farmer when I'm nearby. There are many variations and other dishes between bratwurst, fries and schnitzel. Inexpensive, not overpriced and really delicious! You will also receive a friendly welcome, the atmosphere in the store is relaxed and you will have a lot to talk to with friends and have fun while eating and being a customer. People who can't beat themselves when it comes to eating have come to the right place!
