Der Grieche - Kousinaki in Frankfurt am Main

I had a gyro in pita bread. I actually ordered pork. They served chicken without saying so. I don't tolerate chicken well and noticed it right away. Overall, I'm disappointed. The daycare center had good bread. But the meat was fatty, and everything was very average. 9.50 is too much for the quality, despite the location. You can get that at a regular kebab shop, too. It's a shame. The owners used to have real culinary honor. I haven't felt that for a long time.

The food was beyond awful. It arrived after what felt like three minutes and tasted just as bad. And the price – wow. Absolutely outrageously overpriced. Sure, it's a nice spot on the Fressgass (a pedestrianized street known for its restaurants), but it's a complete rip-off. I would never go there again.

Unfriendly staff, lack of typical Greek coffee varieties and food is mediocre. The location is good.

Very clear portions at very high prices. Delivery took 30 minutes longer than expected and there wasn't even an invoice.

The location on the Fressgass (a pedestrianized street known for its restaurants) and the decor are lovely. The service was mediocre at best, the food more than underwhelming, and overpriced for what you got. It tasted more like simple convenience food than anything resembling authentic Greek cuisine.

Not real greek. Overpriced and overbilling- avoid. 10,90€ for a gyros… They overcharged us, thus check the bill. Unfriendly service, also not recognizing its own errors. Arrogant.

I found it very disappointing after the delicious meal to be told, in a rather cheeky manner, that the toilet was broken and that we should simply go to a neighboring restaurant… while the uninvited use by someone else in our group showed that there was no defect; at most, an unwillingness to clean the toilet on the weekend.

Comida griega auténtica, muy deliciosa.

really tasty dishes, both souvlaki and gyros were on point and the restaurant is in a very central position

The plates were tasty, the sauce was just like in Greece, super good, it’s just the portions that could have been a little larger. 16.8$ each plate (gyros/souvlaki)

(3,5 Sterne) Das Essen war lecker (dafür die meisten Sterne), der Service okay und die Location ebenfalls in Ordnung. Die Portionen war, vor allem gemessen am Preis, etwas dürftig. Für knapp 18 Euro für die Platte hätte ich mir mehr gewünscht. Ebenso empfinde ich knapp 4 Euro für 0,2 l Cola als happig.

Average service, long waiting hours, small plates and portions but high and inflation-adjusted prices. You pay for the location but not for great service and food.

Ich kann bisher nur die Käse und Oliven Pita (zum mitnehmen) bewerten, sehr lecker!

Sehr leckere Gyros mitten im Frankfurter Zentrum

Das Essen schmeckt sehr lecker und das Gyros Pita ist sehr zu empfehlen! Nur zwei Gewohnheiten die man, loslassen sollte. Das andauernde Fragen was man trinken möchte, als würde Geld flöten gehen. Wir sind nicht in einem Restaurant und man möchte schnell was essen und fertig. Die anschließende Frage nach einem guten Espresso ist wiederum passend. Zweitens die Kommunikation funktioniert nicht ganz, man hat bei zwei Besuchen eine konkrete Bitte genannt, das z.B. keine Zwiebeln und Tomaten enthalten sein sollen und es wurde beide male nicht umgesetzt. Außerdem ,,streitet" man sich nicht untereinander vor dem Kunden.

Eine Stunde auf wenig und kaltes Essen warten müssen.

Es war super lecker und sehr freundlicher Service!
