Owner! Please explain to the employee with the black earring and the beginning hair loss how to properly prepare a doner kebab. He puts the salad in first, then the meat—unlike all your other employees. He also puts very little meat in, and this isn't an isolated incident—he does it every time. I eat at your place every day and I don't come here for bread and salad. Next time I see him, I'll just turn around and leave. Please teach him how to properly prepare a doner kebab—he's driving away your hard-earned customers!

For me, it's still the best kebab in Germany. I lived in Aachen eight years ago while I was studying. I've been a fan of this kebab ever since. Whenever possible, I'll come here from Dortmund just to eat it. The special thing is the homemade bread!!! Besides the bread, the sauces are also great. Ordered something three times – each time gristly, 50% raw meat. No control over the doneness, no awareness of quality, no discernible commitment to delivering anything edible at all. The staff smoke behind the counter, go to the bathroom, shake hands with strangers – and don't wash their hands afterward. You'd be more likely to find hygiene standards at Kaiserplatz.

A hectic kebab shop with very good prices. Sure, you won't get the highest quality products here, but you can't expect that for that price. The bread is homemade, or at least it looks that way. The kebab is often generously filled. Ordering is sometimes a little complicated because the people behind the counter are trying to handle a lot of customers, which sometimes leads to misunderstandings. But you can just say what you want, and in my experience, it's always done. Overall, the kebab unfortunately depends on the situation (I've had worse ones there, perhaps just not layered as well, etc.). But I still like getting my food there.

My favorite falafel pie in Aachen! The bread is baked in-house, which is a huge plus! That's why the pizza is also great.

I have no idea how people can seriously write that this is the best kebab in Aachen. I don't want to unnecessarily badmouth a place, but the reviews don't reflect what you get at all. The "veal skewer" is, from the looks of it, 100% minced meat, which isn't necessarily bad, but it simply tastes of nothing. The bread may be freshly baked, but that doesn't mean anything if it also tastes of nothing and is rather dry. The sauces are also nothing special. Tastes are subjective, but anyone who calls this the best kebab really disqualifies themselves from any discussion.

Deniz is one of the goats when it comes to döner shops in Aachen. While not the best of the best, it is still one of the classics and in my opinion it made the top 10 list. Their döner never dissapointed. You should definitely try it if you are in Aachen.

The staff is really extremely nice and personable and the meat was also very good. Overall, the kebab isn't quite what I like from the side dishes, but that's a matter of taste. Very good and fair price. The staff definitely makes it worth a visit! Unfortunately, this is no longer a given these days...

Bad and my kebab was tasteless. I asked this man if I could go to the bathroom first and he said yes. When I came back down, he had already prepared my “kebab”! But I didn't say anything. He didn't make the kebab with chicken 🍗, but with minced meat - and without hot sauce, just the way he wanted?? Pfff… Then I wanted to eat there, but he packed it for me to take away. Simply bad. So I went to a park alone.

A really good kebab shop in Aachen! The location right in the historic center makes it a nice place to grab a quick meal. The kebab itself is also good. The meat and sauces are good and the flatbread is homemade. All in all I would say it's a pretty good snack for in between ;)

Salad is a tad bit too sweet for some reasons. A well done renovation has done wonders on the interiors of the place. Love to see that.

Delicious kebab with homemade bread, it feels like it's always open and there's always something going on, nice staff, always like to come here, but! The last three times I was there, in the evenings when there was a lot going on, you only got half the contents of your kebab here. That's really cheeky. Then the prices increase, but when I order a kebab, I don't want half a kebab.

Prices reasonable, food very tasty, open for a very long time. Can't say anything else about it, would eat there again.

The best kebab plate in a long time! Veal - crispy & juicy, great quality! Four different salads (fresh & spicy, tastes like homemade & fresh herbs were also at the start), three different sauces (tzatziki, chili & hummus). Really delicious. The fries were also great. Super cozy indoors. & at a truly unbeatable price. Absolute recommendation! If you're out and about in Aachen and don't stop by - it's your own fault :).

Worst Döner I have ever had. The sauce was non-existent, no flavors. I asked for scharf sauce but they didn't put it. The service was quick though. The place is really clean. Food is the only problem.

There are many sauces and, as befits a good kebab, a little sauce is first spread on the bread, then the kebab is filled and sauce is added on top. Very tasty and currently very affordable at €5.50. All doner dishes are very tasty, the bread they use is homemade (I think). Service and atmosphere are nothing special (normal for a kebap shop). If you are in the middle of Aachen and want to eat good doner then Deniz is a safe choice.

I've been having diarrhea and stomach pain since I ate a döner last night with the colleague on 26th August 2024 around 10pm. The standing guy there started sharping the device to cut the meat right in front of me and then cut the meat with it putting the metal particles in the meat. The other worker with beard casually touching the meat with his figers to fill the döner. I am still feeling sick with feelings of vomit and diarrhea twice already from it despite it being less than a day after. Incredible lack of hygiene measures very disappointed given the positive reviews they have on Google. I was hoping for a good meal and it turned out my appetite was gone very quickly. The food tasted good but I got sick from the food and I don't appreciate it at all! Usually when I go to a food place I hope to have a pleasant meal and to not get sick from it.

Always enjoy going here. Service is always friendly and in a good mood and the kebab tastes fantastic. A big plus point is that Deniz is one of the few kebab shops in Aachen that are open late!

The kebab is very good. What was particularly positive was the taste, which was rounded off by an extraordinary sauce, although some of the meat was unfortunately a little dry. There was a small piece of bone in my kebab meat.

Fraudulent cash withdrawal at the ATM owned by the place. They charge you an extreme withdrawal fee almost exceeding the amount of the cash you get without information about the fees.

Döner kebab was very cheap at €5.50, but tasted very bland except for the bread. The meat/salad ratio was ok, but the distribution in the bag was not. Also, a rat once ran through the back of the store, I wouldn't believe it if I hadn't seen it myself.

We ordered chicken Döner - they do it quickly and they make fresh bread which is a big plus. The food is cheap filling and tasty. Place is nice except of old toilets

[edit part available below] I got a kebab and said literally and clearly "without sauerkraut and without red cabbage" When the guy still put the two things on it, he removed half of the red cabbage and put salad on it. So there was still 50% of the red cabbage and sauerkraut too. He said "you can't taste it with the salad" but still had to pay for the kebab. not recommendable. [edit] I would now prefer to give a lot fewer stars. My review was incorrectly reported and temporarily suspended. I appealed and the Google team agreed with me. So the review was reported incorrectly because it was not positive. [Edit 2] After a while, my review was apparently reported as a “false report” a second time. Is freedom of expression really such a huge problem for you? [Edit 3] I just deducted one star from my rating because this review was reported here a third of the time, even though there was no false report here.

good kebab, also very good with fallafel. Bread is good homemade, the kebab looks small at first glance but there is an okay amount. €5 for a falafel bag is a good price. Unfortunately the quality has declined recently

The kebab at Deniz's now tastes so bad that it makes me want to eat it. Out of necessity I had to go there last week because nothing was open and I was completely disappointed again. Deniz absolutely NOT recommended!

I like this place. I eat döner here on some occasions. I like the döner. Taste is good. The main reason I like this place is the attitude of the staff. Last time, I saw that seating areas were renovated, so it is nice. Central location, accessible opening hours, nothing more to say.

The ambience is extremely good, especially for a kebab shop. There are plenty of seating options, it is warm and cozy. The staff are also very friendly.

Food was always okay, a standard kebab but tasty. Unfortunately, one time the employees made fun of my order, which was relatively unpleasant. Additionally, on my last visit, where I was sitting in the back, a mouse ran across the seats and disappeared somewhere in other seats. To be fair, it was a year ago and perhaps things have improved and this issue has been resolved, but I've lost my appetite for this store since then.
