Deniz Kebap Haus in Aachen

War defintiv mal einer der besten Döner in Aachen, beim letzten Besuch war aber das Fleisch nahezu ohne Geschmack und nicht gut durchgebraten und das Brot obwohl selbstgemacht schmeckte alt und nicht frisch.

Ich komme schon seit Jahren regelmäßig zum Döneressen hierher. Meistens ist es sehr voll, aber das Brot wird frisch gebacken und ist wirklich einzigartig in Aachen. Der Döner, aber auch alles andere, ist lecker und die Mitarbeiterinnen sehr freundlich. Mittags und generell tagsüber ist alles super, abends/nachts sind andere Mitarbeiter da und die Qualität deutlich schlechter. Es gibt online keine Speisekarte, keine Homepage und telefonische Vorbestellung ist schwierig. Man kann mit Karte bezahlen. (Juni 2026)

Ingesamt ziemlich abgerockter Imbiss, üner der Theke keinerlei Beleuchtung, alles etwas schmierig und unsauber. Preistafel etwas verwirrend. Der Döner ist so lala.... Mit der deutlich besseren Konkurrenz auf der anderen Strassenseite sollte man sich überlegen mal was zu renovieren.

Freundlicher Empfang und gut gefüllte Teller! Ein Imbiss der schmeckt! Wir hatten einen Dönerteller mit Pommes und Reis. Schnell, sauber, freundlich und lecker!

Absolut eines der besten Kebabhäuser überhaupt! Besonders die Falafel sind einfach hervorragend – außen schön knusprig, innen perfekt würzig und zusammen mit den frischen Soßen und dem knackigen Gemüse einfach unglaublich lecker. Das absolute Highlight ist aber das hausgemachte Brot: frisch, warm und richtig schön knusprig. Man merkt sofort, dass hier viel Wert auf Qualität gelegt wird und alles mit Liebe zubereitet wird. Dazu kommt noch das super freundliche Team. Alle sind immer nett, herzlich und gut gelaunt, sodass man sich direkt willkommen fühlt. Gerade auch spät abends ist es einfach perfekt, noch etwas wirklich Gutes zu essen zu fairen Preisen zu bekommen. Klare Empfehlung – ich komme immer wieder gerne vorbei!

Preis Leistung ist gut, aber der Kalb Föber ist echt schlecht. Besser den Hähnchen, der ist gut. Brot war lecker, Zwiebeln zu Krass und Cocktail ist hier irgendwie nicht was ich als Bonner erwartet habe.

Auf meine Frage, wie viele Gramm eine kleine Portion Pommes hat, fragte mich ein Mitarbeiter, warum ich das wissen wolle — als hätte ich ihn nach dem Umsatz dieses Ladens gefragt. Ich antwortete ihm, dass ich wissen möchte, wie viele Gramm die kleine Portion Pommes hat, weil ich Kalorien zähle. Daraufhin sagte er zu mir: „Hast du noch nie Pommes gegessen? Es ist genauso viel wie immer.“ Ich sagte ihm, dass meine Frage ganz einfach war: Wie viele Gramm hat die Portion Pommes — mehr nicht. Er arbeitet dort schon lange, und es ist einfach inakzeptabel, auf so eine einfache Frage keine Antwort zu wissen und so mit Kunden zu sprechen. Beim Fleisch habe ich von Anfang an gesehen, dass es am Spieß roh war, und sagte, dass ich warten kann, bis es richtig durchgegart ist. Trotzdem wurde meine Bitte ignoriert. Das Fleisch im Döner war roh. Ihr seid in den letzten Jahren deutlich schlechter geworden. Ich werde nicht mehr wiederkommen. Zahlung per Karte ist nicht möglich

Die Qualität wurde deutlich schlechter. Das Fleisch ist oft geschmacklos und es ist einfach nurnoch Zufall, ob man einen vernünftigen oder schlechten Döner bekommt. Früher waren die mal gut, würde Bewertungen, die älter als ein Jahr sind, deswegen nicht beachten.

Seit meinem ersten Besuch 2013 bis heute ist dieser Laden der beste Döner weit und breit.

Für den Preis ist die Portion wirklich gut. Sehr gute Qualität dafür.

Dönerbox, Fleisch kalt. Hatte Hähnchen bestellt, es kam Kalb. Hatte den Laden anders in Erinnerung

Selten so schlecht bedient worden. Der Herr hinter der Theke fragt, ob Ihnchen oder Kalbfleisch, ich antworte gemischt, er macht nur Kalb. Dann kam "Mit alles, ne?" Ich könnte ihn gerade noch stoppen. Die Krönung war dann aber mein Wunsch nach "ein wenig scharf", das Teil war kaum zu essen, soviel hat er mir drauf geknallt. Dazu kam, dass das Dürum zwar frisch gebacken, aber noch halb roh war. Also hätte man ein sauscharfes gummiartiges Genusserlebnis. Danke für nichts! Hinzu kommt dass der Laden auch noch sehr schmudeelig wirkt. Keine Ahnung, wo die 4,3 Sterne her kommen. Ist definitiv nicht gerechtfertigt.

Ohne jeden Zweifel einer der besten Döner in Aachen, welchen man hier über die Jahre lieben gelernt hat, und sich jedes Mal darauf gefreut und es sich hat schmecken lassen. Bestellt man heutzutage jedoch einen ohne Zwiebeln ( oder sonstige Wünsche ) wird man vom diesem äußert unfreundlichen, jüngeren, neueren Personal nicht nur dumm angeguckt sondern schlichtweg beleidigt als hätte man zuviele extra Wünsche... Es gibt genügend andere Döner Buden in Aachen. Danke für die schönen Zeiten, aber hier gehe ich nach nun mehr als 10 extrem negativen Erlebnissen NICHT mehr hin. Alles gute wünsche ich jedem, und hoffe mein Feedback hilft vielen weiteren Stammkunden und eurer Personal-Entscheidung.

Deniz Kebab Haus bietet auf nur 200 Quadratmetern das frischeste und leckerste Essen. Die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich, die Musik ist super und meine Bestellung kam schnell an 👍

Der beste Döner überhaupt, der sich ehrlich gesagt mit jedem Dönerladen in Deutschland messen kann. Die Pommes sind köstlich, das Brot wird direkt vor deinen Augen frisch zubereitet und die Fleischqualität ist außergewöhnlich.

Ich hatte einen Dönerteller mit Salat, Fleisch und Käse inkl Soße - Cocktail und Kräuter für 10,50€ , es war alles in allem okay…aber kein super Highlight.

Fantastisch! Der Döner ist besser als in der Türkei. Auch die Aufmerksamkeit des Personals und die Präsentation sind hervorragend, daher verdienen sie mehr als nur 5 Sterne. Ich habe es mir gemerkt; ab sofort ist das Deniz Kebap Haus meine erste Wahl, wenn ich in Aachen bin.

Bester Döner, frisches selbst gemacht Brötchen, alles frisch. Klasse. Currywurst und Pommes auch klasse.

Döner ganz gut. Service sehr schlecht.

Leider nicht mehr was es mal war. Seit ca 2-3 Monaten ist der Döner nicht mehr so gut. Wenig Soße und wenig Fleisch. Jetzt ist der auch noch 1 Euro teurer geworden (ist nicht viel, aber zum Gesamtpaket schon). Fleisch sieht auch nicht immer 100% durch aus. Teilweise muss man auch direkt davor stehen und einschreiten bei der Soßen Auswahl, sonst bekommt man irgendwas

Das Essen ist gut. Aber alles ist so teuer geworden. Ich sehe mich nach Alternativen um.

Einer der leckersten Döner, die ich in der letzten Zeit gegessen habe. Das Brot schmeckt wie frisch gebacken und hat von innen eine sehr schöne Strucktur. Wenn ich das nächste Mal in Aachen bin, komme ich auf jeden Fall wieder 💯

Der Hähnchen Döner war der schlechteste, den ich je gegessen habe. Das Fleisch selbst war nicht gut, das Brot, die Soße, alles war einfach nur furchtbar. Sie haben zwei kleine Tomaten hineingelegt und die Soße über Brot und Fleisch gegossen, um den Fleischgeschmack zu überdecken und zu verbergen, wie schlecht es war. Wir haben vier sirupartige Desserts für je einen Euro bestellt, und die waren auch furchtbar. Weder meiner Frau noch mir haben sie geschmeckt. Ich verstehe die positiven Bewertungen auch nicht. Die Leute haben ihren Geschmackssinn verloren; anders lässt sich das nicht erklären.

Ich bestellte einen Döner Nr. 3 mit Kartoffeln und Salat. Bekam ich aber nur einen normalen Döner mit ein paar Kartoffeln obendrauf, und das auch erst nach meiner Nachfrage. Das Brot war kalt und nicht frisch. Den Preis nicht wert.

Der Pomm-Döner war geschmacklich wirklich sehr lecker und frisch zubereitet. Leider stimmt das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis für mich nicht ganz. 6 Euro empfinde ich als etwas überteuert.

Endlich Mal wieder ein leckerer Döner, dessen Verzehr man noch nach zwei Tagen auf der Haut riechen kann.

Döner... :-/ Wo fängt man an. Auf Empfehlung des Hauses der Standard: Zaziki und Kräutersoße. Beide flüssig, das Brot ist aufgeweicht und ein kleiner See entsteht auf dem mitgegeben Teller. Das Kalbfleisch ist mild gewürzt der Eigengeschmacht nur erahnbar. Kross?Fehlanzeige. Ansonsten viel Krautsalat in flüssiger Soße. Ein Stück Tomaten in zwei Dönern gefunden. Scharfe Soße auf Ketchupbasis wird gezielt am Boden des Döner für einen feurigen Abgang platziert. Wie ist der Gesamtgeschmack? Brot von außen leicht warm, das Kalbsfleisch auch, dazwischen Salat und Kraut eher kalt und flüssiger Soße. Es ist eigentlich kein Kalbs- sondern ein Krautdöner. Leute, bitte macht Döner mit mehr Liebe! Einziges Plus: das selbstgebauten Brot. Damit steht man an der Startrampe zu einem ausgezeichneten Döner. Bitte überarbeitet das ganze Konzept - abgesehen vom Brot. Personal: nett + freundlich alles super, aber der Döner...

People are kind and helpful. Taste is good. Toilets should be more clear. And; I saw some dough prepared and kept without cover in the room upstairs which besides the toilets, it’s not nice.

The falafel and chicken are a real treat, the fries are particularly crispy, and the portions are generous. What more could you want!

For me, it's still the best kebab in Germany. I lived in Aachen eight years ago while I was studying. I've been a fan of this kebab ever since. Whenever possible, I'll come here from Dortmund just to eat it. The special thing is the homemade bread!!! Besides the bread, the sauces are also great. Very good prices. Very friendly staff. Delicious food. We visited four times during our five-day stay.

Ordered something three times – each time gristly, 50% raw meat. No control over the doneness, no awareness of quality, no discernible commitment to delivering anything edible at all. The staff smoke behind the counter, go to the bathroom, shake hands with strangers – and don't wash their hands afterward. You'd be more likely to find hygiene standards at Kaiserplatz.

A hectic kebab shop with very good prices. Sure, you won't get the highest quality products here, but you can't expect that for that price. The bread is homemade, or at least it looks that way. The kebab is often generously filled. Ordering is sometimes a little complicated because the people behind the counter are trying to handle a lot of customers, which sometimes leads to misunderstandings. But you can just say what you want, and in my experience, it's always done. Overall, the kebab unfortunately depends on the situation (I've had worse ones there, perhaps just not layered as well, etc.). But I still like getting my food there.

A pregnant woman was just here. The boss offered her free baklava and told her her husband could bring the money later. Love for people like that.

It was touted to me as the best kebab in Aachen, but I can't confirm that at all. Plus, there's cartilage upon cartilage in every bite.

My favorite falafel pie in Aachen! The bread is baked in-house, which is a huge plus! That's why the pizza is also great.

Top 10 worst kebabs of my life.

I have no idea how people can seriously write that this is the best kebab in Aachen. I don't want to unnecessarily badmouth a place, but the reviews don't reflect what you get at all. The "veal skewer" is, from the looks of it, 100% minced meat, which isn't necessarily bad, but it simply tastes of nothing. The bread may be freshly baked, but that doesn't mean anything if it also tastes of nothing and is rather dry. The sauces are also nothing special. Tastes are subjective, but anyone who calls this the best kebab really disqualifies themselves from any discussion.

Deniz is one of the goats when it comes to döner shops in Aachen. While not the best of the best, it is still one of the classics and in my opinion it made the top 10 list. Their döner never dissapointed. You should definitely try it if you are in Aachen.

The staff is really extremely nice and personable and the meat was also very good. Overall, the kebab isn't quite what I like from the side dishes, but that's a matter of taste. Very good and fair price. The staff definitely makes it worth a visit! Unfortunately, this is no longer a given these days...

Bad and my kebab was tasteless. I asked this man if I could go to the bathroom first and he said yes. When I came back down, he had already prepared my “kebab”! But I didn't say anything. He didn't make the kebab with chicken 🍗, but with minced meat - and without hot sauce, just the way he wanted?? Pfff… Then I wanted to eat there, but he packed it for me to take away. Simply bad. So I went to a park alone.

A really good kebab shop in Aachen! The location right in the historic center makes it a nice place to grab a quick meal. The kebab itself is also good. The meat and sauces are good and the flatbread is homemade. All in all I would say it's a pretty good snack for in between ;)

Salad is a tad bit too sweet for some reasons. A well done renovation has done wonders on the interiors of the place. Love to see that.

Probably the best kebab in Aachen

Delicious kebab with homemade bread, it feels like it's always open and there's always something going on, nice staff, always like to come here, but! The last three times I was there, in the evenings when there was a lot going on, you only got half the contents of your kebab here. That's really cheeky. Then the prices increase, but when I order a kebab, I don't want half a kebab.

Prices reasonable, food very tasty, open for a very long time. Can't say anything else about it, would eat there again.

The best kebab plate in a long time! Veal - crispy & juicy, great quality! Four different salads (fresh & spicy, tastes like homemade & fresh herbs were also at the start), three different sauces (tzatziki, chili & hummus). Really delicious. The fries were also great. Super cozy indoors. & at a truly unbeatable price. Absolute recommendation! If you're out and about in Aachen and don't stop by - it's your own fault :).

Worst Döner I have ever had. The sauce was non-existent, no flavors. I asked for scharf sauce but they didn't put it. The service was quick though. The place is really clean. Food is the only problem.

Freshly baked bread makes this kebab very tasty. Even the last bites are delicious with the bread. There are many sauces and, as befits a good kebab, a little sauce is first spread on the bread, then the kebab is filled and sauce is added on top. Very tasty and currently very affordable at €5.50. Very tasty durum. Our German is not very good, but this man makes sure you get what you want. With the first bite you will feel in seventh heaven.

All doner dishes are very tasty, the bread they use is homemade (I think). Service and atmosphere are nothing special (normal for a kebap shop). If you are in the middle of Aachen and want to eat good doner then Deniz is a safe choice.

I've been having diarrhea and stomach pain since I ate a döner last night with the colleague on 26th August 2024 around 10pm. The standing guy there started sharping the device to cut the meat right in front of me and then cut the meat with it putting the metal particles in the meat. The other worker with beard casually touching the meat with his figers to fill the döner. I am still feeling sick with feelings of vomit and diarrhea twice already from it despite it being less than a day after. Incredible lack of hygiene measures very disappointed given the positive reviews they have on Google. I was hoping for a good meal and it turned out my appetite was gone very quickly. The food tasted good but I got sick from the food and I don't appreciate it at all! Usually when I go to a food place I hope to have a pleasant meal and to not get sick from it.

Always enjoy going here. Service is always friendly and in a good mood and the kebab tastes fantastic. A big plus point is that Deniz is one of the few kebab shops in Aachen that are open late!
