Döner 10/10 und die Pommes sind super knusprig

Essen ist gut, die Leute sind echt nett. Fleisch am Spieß sieht frisch aus und schmeckt auch echt lecker. Meine neue Anlaufstelle in Lübbenau wenn ich einen leckeren Döner genießen möchte. Bis nächstes Mal 👌

Wir bestellten den klassischen Döner (Nr. 1), einen mit Knoblauchsauce und einen mit allen drei Saucen, jeweils mit allem Drum und Dran. Dazu gab es Ayran (ein Joghurtgetränk, salzig und cremig, das den Dönergeschmack gut ausgleicht – interessant!) und Pistazien-Baklava. Alles war unglaublich lecker. Die Angestellten waren sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich und hatten viel Geduld mit unseren eingeschränkten Englischkenntnissen. Nur Barzahlung möglich. Ein wunderbarer Ort, ich würde am liebsten jeden Tag wiederkommen!

Die Jungs dort sind jung, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich habe sie gebeten, alles, was sie hatten, schnell reinzupacken, und sie haben das super gemacht (10 von 10 Punkten). Ich kann sie nur empfehlen.

So mit Granatapfeldressing und Kräutern. Danke euch. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder ☺️ Ps. Auch wenns wir nicht essen. Aber schön, dass es auch vegane Varianten gibt.

Das Deniz Grill hat eine super Atmosphäre und das Essen ist absolut köstlich. Ich kann den Laden nur empfehlen – ein Besuch lohnt sich definitiv!

Die Einheimischen schwärmen davon, und als Reisender und Döner-Liebhaber konnte ich nicht widerstehen. Die beste dörfliche Hausmannskost gibt es im Spreewald bei Lübenau, aber auch den besten Döner! Seit ich ihn vor 10 Jahren entdeckt habe, ist keine Deutschlandreise komplett ohne einen großen, leckeren Döner. Ich habe mal gelesen, dass man nur einen Döner von einem Stand nehmen sollte, an dem der Salat direkt vorne steht, und genau das bietet der Deniz Grill. Der Besitzer war sehr geduldig mit meinen holprigen Deutschkenntnissen, und wir konnten meine Bestellung problemlos aufgeben. Das Sandwich war auf warmem, frischem Brot zubereitet und reichlich belegt mit einer köstlichen Kombination aus Salaten und hausgemachten Soßen. Die rote Soße ist richtig scharf! Mein Begleiter hatte Halume statt Fleisch und war genauso begeistert. Der Deniz Grill hat meinen bisherigen Lieblingsdöner, den Laden in Colditz, vom Thron gestoßen. Hmm, vielleicht sollte ich mal einen Ausflug planen, um die beiden direkt miteinander zu vergleichen! Wenn Sie ein echter Döner-Fan sind, müssen Sie unbedingt bei Deniz Grill vorbeischauen.

Ich habe hier schon oft gegessen, der Kebab ist sehr gut, der Service ist sehr nett, ich kann es nur empfehlen!

We always enjoy coming here when we visit Lübbenau and like to plan our journey to include a meal there. Friendly staff, good food, and in our case, especially the vegan selection with seitan, falafel, AND vegan dressing 👍👍👍, plus convenient free parking on-site. Feel free to come and see for yourself.

Best doner kebab in the world! Delicious meat, crispy bread, everything was delicious. The service was excellent, and I was even able to communicate a bit in Polish. The price? For just €7.50, I got a very tasty, large doner kebab that kept me full for the rest of the day. If I could, I'd give it 100 stars, not 5, because the service and the entire doner kebab shop deserve it.

Best kebab shop! We went here twice in a row because the veggie and vegan selection is amazing. The seitan box and seitan plate are served with perfect grilled vegetables and delicious sauces. Whether you're a tourist or a local, everyone should find something to eat here and definitely try it!

A very good selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes. My vegetarian dürüm with grilled vegetables was extremely delicious and a real treat. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Definitely recommended.

I'm from Berlin and was honestly skeptical at first about whether I should even eat a kebab here – after all, Berlin is considered the kebab capital. I went in anyway, and it was the best decision! The chef personally prepared my kebab – super friendly, extremely patient, and with real passion. The kebab itself? A-grade! The meat was perfectly seasoned, the salad crisp and fresh, and then that special sauce… simply amazing! I've rarely eaten anything like it, even in Berlin. Many Berlin shops could really learn a thing or two from this place – both in terms of taste and freshness. From now on, this is a must-stop for me whenever I'm in the area. Highly recommended!

Best kebab shop I've ever been to. I've never had such good kebabs. The meat was so fresh and so tasty. It looked juicy. I have to honestly say it was the best kebab I've ever eaten. I can only recommend it. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. We need more shops like this in Germany! We paid 42 euros for five people, including special requests and everything else. The price/performance ratio was also right.

If, like us, you come from the culinary south of Germany—specifically, from Munich—you carry certain expectations with you. Expectations fueled by a life spent between the Viktualienmarkt, Giesinger organic herbs, and the eternal argument about where to find the best kebab in Munich. And so, armed with a great hunger and the ambitious desire to discover Lübbenau's best kebab, we set out on a search. Our path led us to: Deniz Imbiss. A name as simple as it is promising. Exterior Appearance & Atmosphere Deniz Imbiss is located not far from the old town, surrounded by the hustle and bustle of tourists and the faint scent of Spreewald pickles in the air. The shop itself is, well, no architectural marvel, but it's also not an imposition. Functional, honest, straightforward. Just as a snack bar should be. No frills, no unnecessary decorative kitsch. Here, it's all about the essentials. Food. The order – an act of sober efficiency The ordering process was uneventful. The staff weren't cordial, nor cold, but – as the saying goes – "totally fine." No small talk, no "Where are you from?", no exuberant enthusiasm, but also no dislike. It was a matter-of-fact encounter between two worlds: hungry tourist meets fast-food worker with day-to-day business experience. The bread – solid foundation with room for improvement The bread was good. Not outstanding. Not homemade. But it had structure. A certain resilience against the juices of the meat and the moisture of the sauce. No sogginess after two minutes, no breakthrough when biting into it. It held up. It was, in a way, the Swiss Army knife of doner breads: it did what it was supposed to do without being overly glossy. The meat – honest substance The meat was good. Really. It had flavor. No sloppy, uninspired cold cuts, but juicy, seasoned, crispy edges included. You could tell: This wasn't just something shoved onto a skewer. Someone had at least a hint of ambition. Not a luxury Berlin doner with lamb fillet or hand-massaged veal, but solid, robust, satisfying. The Relationship – A Triangular Relationship in Balance Bread, salad, meat – this sacred triangle of the doner universe was in astonishingly harmonious balance here. None of the components pushed itself unduly to the fore. No salad massacre like with some urban vendors who see meat merely as decoration. No meat overkill that degrades the whole thing to a meat roll. No – there was a certain inner peace in the doner. Almost a meditative moment. The Sauces – Okay, but Unexciting Yes, the sauces. They were there. They didn't disturb us. They did their job. But they didn't make us think either. No explosion of flavors, no tangy interplay of yogurt, garlic, and heat. Simple sauces. Not bad, not good, just... there. Maybe that's enough. Maybe not. Speed of Service - Unhurried Pace We didn't have to wait forever. It was quick, but not so much that it felt like airport-level efficiency. It was the kind of service that gives you time to organize your thoughts, take in your surroundings, and mentally prepare for the kebab encounter. You can appreciate that—or ignore it. -- Conclusion: Deniz Imbiss in Lübbenau may not be the stuff kebab legends are made of. But it is the place where you get honest, solid craftsmanship. For anyone who isn't dazzled by show and Instagram glamour, but is looking for a good, honest, filling kebab, Deniz is a reliable address. Not the best kebab in Germany—but possibly the best in Lübbenau. And honestly: Sometimes okay is exactly what you need. Rating: 3.75 out of 5 slices of bread 🥙🥙🥙🥐 (with room for improvement) Tip for the owners: Maybe try a homemade sauce or homemade bread.

We ordered four Dürüm and got two drinks. Everything was perfectly prepared and the staff were very chatty and friendly. The food tasted better than ever. I don't think I've ever eaten such a tasty Dürüm before. There was enough sauce spread on the Dürum. There was enough meat and there wasn't too much salad and not too little. The flatbread was also nice and crispy and very tasty, not like any flatbread from other kebab shops. In any case, a top kebab that I can highly recommend. I would go again and again.
