Very tasty food, friendly service, what more could you want. Unfortunately a bit loud inside.

The atmosphere is perfect, totally cozy. We waited a little longer for the food, but it was worth it - the food was simply delicious! Everyone was friendly. Unfortunately we were only visiting Quedlinburg, otherwise we would be happy to return.

Sometimes you should listen to reviews you read before eating/visiting. After our visit I can only fully confirm the critics of the goulash, it's really a shame. It may sound harsh, but that was a pretty tasteless “some meat, lots of dumplings, filling filling”. There were certainly no Hungarian feelings, neither in terms of taste nor appearance. And it can't be that the employee tells you beforehand that you can add more seasoning if you want it spicy. There was a small, almost empty pot on the table with a red paste, similar to the Asian one. It didn't help. There was Spanish beer on the menu that wasn't available, but there was another beer that wasn't on the menu. The conditions there are actually right, good location, reasonably comfortable, staff quite friendly. But above all, I go out to eat to eat delicious food. And the negative guest review of the goulash is certainly not an isolated case. Just a benevolent 2 points...., please check the recipe and preparation.

Service Top everything clean and nice restaurant, unfortunately we were disappointed with the food. We had expected more zing, the seasoning was already very German. Unfortunately, the Pörkölt was just a dumpling pan with goulash sauce, 5 chunks of meat ended up on my plate (when we were with us there were only 3), which is quite cheeky for a meat dish advertised for 19.99. Luckily, my friend's egg dumplings were very lacking in seasoning. It would be nice if the food reflected the rest of the impression of the restaurant, then we would like to come back.

Totally mixed impressions...a friendly and nice team, cozy and pleasant atmosphere. Unfortunately I can't say anything good about the food. The Pörkelt with dumplings was poorly seasoned and was actually a dumpling pan with some sauce... There were 2 hazelnut-sized pieces of meat. My daughter-in-law had the colorful egg dumplings. Actually a spaetzle pan with scrambled eggs. Paprika was missing as well as salt and pepper... Plus point: the wine was tasty.....

Unfortunately, absolutely disappointing! We just wanted a bite to eat and decided on the Camembert. It was served well prepared, unfortunately without bread. Upon request, we were served a few slices of baguette with aioli. The Camembert was lukewarm and from “Kaufland” (it was written on the wooden packaging) and we also had to pay extra for the baguette… It’s a shame that has nothing to do with customer service!

I was on holiday in Quedlinburg for a week and was curious about Hungarian cuisine. Unfortunately, Lakoma is only open in the evenings. I ate mushroom goulash with dumplings and was a little disappointed by the lack of seasoning. Somehow I remembered the whole thing more clearly. Still, the food was good. I didn't really feel like I was in Hungary. The restaurant is housed in the premises of a former Spanish restaurant. Somehow the outdoor advertising wasn't changed, so at first I didn't know where Lakoma was actually located.

Unfortunately, our food was only partially delicious. The meat, sauce and coleslaw were delicious, but the salad was too coarsely picked and underseasoned and the potato wedges tasted strange, very hard and chewy. Too bad. Not good value for money for 24.90.

Delicious I was in the restaurant with friends in July. The courtyard is very authentic and cozy. Everything tasted good and we were happy with everything. I was overjoyed that I could also drink a Spanish coffee specialty, Barraquito, here. It was just as great as I know from Tenerife. The restaurant is worth a visit ❤️

How does such a cool shop come to Quedlinburg?!? Really good! Go there and enjoy the ambience, service and wonderful food - and I say that as a vegan.

The goulash was completely devoid of any Hungarian pizzazz. No onions, no peppers, not spicy, not spicy. The homemade dumplings were good. The open red wine (bull's blood) would still have had to breathe, so it was sold at too high a price

We had goulash soup and fries with nuggets for the kids. Restaurant in the back yard so nice ambience, nice staff and good food.

During our last visit to the restaurant, we were pleased to see that the menu had been updated in several places. In addition to the addition of several new vegetarian dishes, there is also new beer as Budweiser is now on tap, which is my personal favorite and goes great with the goose fat bread. The inner courtyard remains atmospheric and offers a little refreshment even in hot weather.

Unfortunately a big disappointment. We ordered goulash twice, a large and a small portion (see picture). The small portion is probably a joke. 4 pieces of meat and 5 potato wedges for 10€ is simply a rip-off for us, but opinions differ on that. We expected spice and spiciness from Hungarian goulash - unfortunately it didn't taste like anything, neither salt, pepper or spiciness. When asked, comparisons were made to the restaurant that had previously been there; the price for such a portion would have been the same there. Unfortunately, this statement didn't fill us up and is perhaps a reason why this restaurant no longer exists. Regarding the taste, we were told that we cook so that everyone likes it. Well, okay.

We were there on Sunday evening shortly before closing time and were very hungry, but were still served in an absolutely friendly and warm manner. I had the impression that the service staff was more interested in filling us up than getting off work on time 😄 Mushroom goulash with homemade gnockerl (?) = absolute recommendation for all vegetarians and meat eaters! We will probably come more often!

The last dive bar in Quedlinburg, extremely poor service and the food is also rather bad than good. Even 1 star is still too much. You wait over an hour for the food, and it is still almost cold. The service staff don't listen to you and start to argue. Better go somewhere else.

Unfortunately, the food was very poor. Vegetarian mushroom stew is just dumplings mixed with mushrooms and slightly colored with some sauce. The pork chop is dry, hard and stringy. Unfortunately, the potatoes are also not very fresh. Mojito very sour. The service was nice, but probably not very experienced. We were not convinced.

Very bad service. At 30 degrees, drink the drinks after 35 minutes. Eating took 2 hours. Food not as stated on the menu. Unfriendly answers when asked. Never there again.

Great service, food and ambience. Would love to come back. It's a small, cozy restaurant. In summer it's perfect to spend time outside with a glass of wine.

Unfortunately, the taste of the food was not convincing. Meat was very dry and not very seasoned. Only the potatoes and vegetables were good. The goulash soup wasn't really good either! Unfortunately, the service staff and chef couldn't handle criticism either. So I don't think the restaurant will last long. It's a shame because the atmosphere and the menu were really great and promising. P.S. We were in a group of 6 people and no one ate...

Went here for the first time at the weekend and were very impressed. The food was very tasty 😋 and tasty and the price/performance ratio was also okay. We would love to come back when we are in Quedlinburg again. There is still room for improvement when it comes to communication, but no reason for deductions at this point.

A very cozy Hungarian restaurant with incredibly tasty and large dishes also for vegetarians and vegans!

The food was quite good, but a bit too expensive, especially the dishes without meat. A service person was new, so the service was a bit chaotic... I can't even imagine what it would have been like with the additional outside tables if the weather was nice... And if there are no more pancakes at 7 p.m., then that doesn't mean that that they are made fresh, because the ingredients are all shelf-stable... So overall OK, but too expensive for what is on offer.

We had to wait an hour for the food. Drinks had long since been consumed, no demand for refills. Previously our order had been lost. We had something to drink after 20 minutes. We ordered three different Hungarian dishes. Everything was completely unseasoned and tasteless like hospital food. Salt and pepper were available upon request. On top of that, we felt completely ripped off. In the picture is the "sauce" of the Pörkölt to see that in contrast to Goulash is cooked with a little addition of water or broth (according to the extract from the menu). A bad joke. Hunger drove it in. The other picture shows the wild mushroom ragout. I didn't know that farmed mushrooms grew in the forest. And if you are serving tough meat, it would be advisable to have sharp knives and not dull breakfast knives ready! Clearly not recommended!

The food was quite ok. The service was a bit confusing, but it was only the 2nd day after opening.

Lakoma has now become a great Hungarian restaurant. The owner has changed. We had a super delicious classic goulash (not so much water and sauce). Great tender meat. Hearty sauce. Plus a juicy, freshly prepared cucumber salad. The schnitzels with potato wedges were very filling. Fried to perfection and juicy (since they were hand-breaded, the thinner tips were a little drier) Very attentive, non-intrusive staff. Unfortunately, some tables had to remain free later. From Wednesday (Thursday Ascension Day) to Saturday the kitchen was emptied. And supplies stalled a bit after the reopening. This was published quite openly. No stupid talk. My respect. We'll definitely come back. Good luck to you.

I don't know where to start, we were happy to enjoy Hungarian cuisine again, but unfortunately it was a disaster. The alleged waiter was unfriendly and absolutely not involved in this work, he knew nothing about the menu. Food arrived after more than 45 minutes, by which time others who came after us had already eaten. Schnitzel Letscho had no taste, salmon was warm but mashed potatoes were cold or potato wedges were black and cold. The second beer didn't come at all. If we wanted to pay, we should be patient, the third time he came and couldn't even do the math. So never, ever again... it's a shame and it was almost €54 and there wasn't much going on

It's only been open for 3 days so there are probably still a few teething problems. Unfortunately, one of the four meals was cold and it took a little longer to arrive. But the goulash soup was very good, which is why 4 ⭐️.

At the beginning I would like to emphasize that this is a new restaurant, unfortunately the reviews were also taken from the previous one. You can sit well outside. Unfortunately, the price/performance ratio is very poor and only a "fancy" presentation of the food cannot disguise the quality. The aioli didn't taste like anything and the main courses were cold and the meat was dry. Inattentive and seemingly overwhelmed service was the lesser evil. I had to go to the counter myself to pay. All in all, not recommended and one can only hope that the owners might come up with something else.

First the positive, it's nice to sit in the courtyard... The baguette was delicious, the aioli lacked salt and garlic, it just tasted bland. The chicken fillet was in the pan for far too long and then it was over-baked. As a result, the edges were hard and the rest was completely dry. The pork medallions were also way too dry and the mashed potatoes were cold when they arrived. We would have liked to drink something more but they didn't pay any attention to us. We even had to go in to pay because the waitress wasn't there. Even though there weren't many guests there. It's a shame, we would definitely have come back if the service and food had been good, even if it was a little more expensive. But this visit did not convince us at all.

Backyard ambience - well that's how it works; Eating - not possible at all, meat was very firm and “fried twice to death”; Potato wedges were solid and huge and unappetizing; A lot of what was on the menu was no longer available at 6:30 p.m.! Sorry, I can't recommend it :(

I was there with my husband and child, very friendly young waiter and great atmosphere. You were welcomed warmly and served quickly. The food was a 10/10 The drinks were also completely okay. A big compliment to the waiter who entertained my daughter, we would love to come back!! 🙌🏻

The two of us ate here. When it came to my stew, I was surprised that it didn't come in a deep dish, but rather in a flat cylinder shape on a flat plate. I found it quite tasty, but I would have liked the portion to be a little larger. My friend wasn't quite as happy, her salmon was too dry and she found the prawns too rubbery. The service was attentive and friendly. I find it a bit strange that it is written on the door "No card payment possible today due to technical problems", but here on Google it says that (basically) only cash payment is possible. If payment is generally only possible in cash, then this should be communicated clearly.

Eating and drinking very comfortable. I recommend the rabbit leg but everything else is very tasty too 😋 Greetings to the chef 👍👍👍

The food was nothing special, the aioli for the starter had been prepared for a while and was a different color. The starter wasn't a tapas plate for two either. I've eaten better ones. Unimaginative...unfortunately And the waitress wasn't particularly interested. That's how it seemed to me. After the starter we left, it wasn't worth the money. Not recommendable.

Had pre-ordered in the restaurant...unfortunately very stressed staff...order was taken carelessly...after about an hour the tapas plate arrived...unappetizingly prepared...no bread and our son's meal was immediately whole Forgot... I won't recommend this restaurant... Price/performance doesn't fit... I know it much better from Spain and it's nicer, especially friendlier...

Very friendly reception and service. Even though it was busy, there was a surprisingly short wait. Tapas platters ordered vegetarian and normal for 2 people each. Tasted great and prices were absolutely reasonable. Gladly again.

We were here with 4 people and ate and drank excellently. The tapas taste great, like in Spain! You can get very good Spanish wine here and all the cocktails are freshly made. The service is friendly and attentive! We can only recommend the restaurant!

Although I work in Quedlinburg, I have never been here. This week I finally changed that. Together with my partner I ate the tapas platter for two for just under 40 euros. It was really tasty - thumbs up. Unfortunately, the dining room is very full, one or two fewer tables would do the ambience a lot of good. The biggest downer is the loud music, which really got on my nerves after an hour. The service was very attentive and had the situation well under control. The prices were too high in some areas, especially the drinks. I seem to remember that the Aperol costs €8.50 here. That's clearly too much for the restaurant you're sitting in here. Some other products were also significantly overpriced. When you call for such a price level, you also have to do the details really well. For the equally high price of the Creme Catalanne, it should no longer have any pieces, but should be really tender and creamy...

The food and service were top - “only” the seating was a bit special = outside in the tent at what felt like 2 degrees. Yes, there was a heating lamp over the table and blankets on every seat, but it was pretty cool from downstairs.

Went there today at 5 p.m. and were given a table in the empty restaurant at the tip of a finger. After about 5 minutes we got the cards, which have seen much better times. We were a bit shocked by the manageable number of tapas. But then everyone found something. We were a little surprised when we placed our order and were asked if we wanted the first two items as a starter. The cards were then taken away again, which we found very unusual for a tapas bar. As a starter we were given Ciabatta with Manchego and Ciabatta with Serrano ham. For €8.90 we each got two slices of ciabatta with Manchego and ham. For the "main course" we decided on shrimps (5 pieces for €15), anchovies (without further ado) and chicken with potatoes. The portions were very manageable compared to the price. The taste was okay, but nothing special. After we finished eating, we sat with our empty plates for almost 10 minutes. So it's really more of a Spanish restaurant than a tapas bar and from what was on the website there was almost nothing to be found. Better to go to Goslar or Wernigerode

Unfortunately I can only give one star. After a nice stroll through the old town, we were really looking forward to Spanish food. When we got there, we waited a whopping 25 minutes for our place to be shown (despite having a reservation). The staff, which was far too few for the evening, was completely overwhelmed. Since there wasn't much space inside, we were allowed to sit outside in the tent. It felt like 0°C outside, it wasn't significantly higher in the tent, but it was good. The menu was half torn where we got it. Choosing food was very difficult because there wasn't much to choose from other than tapas. When the food came, the shock came. Far too little and tapas main course for €26 not satisfactory. Even the hot dishes were totally cold. Hungry, we still ordered a dessert that was nowhere to be found on the menu. A highlight was the Creme Catalana. Our long waiting times were regularly bridged with schnapps, similar to the Greeks. Conclusion: Top location of the restaurant where the employees are unfortunately completely overwhelmed and the food is nothing special.

Well, what can you say? I was here almost exactly 2 years ago with my bestie, so I thought why not for our wedding anniversary, great food. It used to be like that. It was total service chaos, 4 people trying to wait and I would like to emphasize TRYING! Then came the food🙄 boring, bland, less on the plate and what was on it was edible at best! 40 euros for a mixed tapas plate that would be worth a maximum of 25 if the food had been good. For us it was never again and afterwards we went for a kebab because we couldn't get enough of that little bit! Thanks for the comment and yes I know it very well. I started in the catering industry at the age of 14 and worked in service, in the kitchen and in planning/purchasing. So don't worry, we'll never come back!

Unfortunately I can't say anything about the food. I was in Quedlinburg with my wife for the weekend and we wanted to go to the Spaniard. That's why I made a reservation in advance and received a confirmation via email shortly afterwards. When we arrived at the restaurant everything was full. The reservation had not been entered in the book. We should sit in the tent in the yard. We didn't want that in February and went somewhere else. The restaurant seemed cozy. Too bad for us. Maybe another time. Then I will call additionally.

Leider kein gemütlicher Abend. Völlig überbucht. Reservierungen konnten nicht eingehalten werden. Personal war einfach überfordert. Gemischte Tapasplatte war die absolute Enttäuschung, billig, wenig, fast alles kalt. Serrano falsch geschnitten, daher zäh. Es wurde kein Brot dazu gereicht, musste alles extra bestellt werden. Zum Rose' Wein wurde kein Kühler gereicht. Die Preise für diese Qualität sind völlig überhöht. Schade. Das neue Team kann bedauerlicherweise nicht das Niveau vom Vorgänger halten.

Order a few different small tapas dishes and each of them tasted really good. Pairing it up with the red sangria made it even more wonderful. Service was top notch inspite of it being a very hectic evening and the restaurant being quite full

Simply inauthentic! It started with an atmosphere that was unfortunately not very nice. First a sangria was ordered. What arrived was a more indefinable concoction in a cocktail glass, with no fruit. Actually, that should have been a warning sign because the food was about to get even worse. For starters we ordered aioli and mojo sauce with a ciabatta. The bread was old and dry and the mojo sauce tasted like a musty curry sauce. The main course included two warm tapas plates and a rabbit. The Canarian potatoes advertised were mushy, unseasoned potato wedges. The other tapas were also bad in taste, some of them even cold. The rabbit was also unseasoned and carelessly prepared. Overall just bad. Quedlinburg has many good restaurants, don't waste your evening in this restaurant.

Unfortunately, the food wasn't really great and the service was neither warm nor particularly friendly. Bread was no longer completely fresh, the aiolo came pre-portioned (uncovered) from a fridge at the bar. There was no fruit in the sangria, but that was what it said on the menu. Overall it was a bit cool in the restaurant.

Completely overrated and far too expensive restaurant for my taste. You don't have to drink an Aperol spritz at the Spaniard, especially not if it costs €10. It's better to go to Rimini. The rest is also far too expensive for the province.

Wir waren zum Weihnachtsfest hier und hatten schon vor längerer Zeit auf Grund der doch recht guten Bewertungen vorreseviert. Leider wurden nicht nur vom vom Essen enttäuscht. Ambiente eng und stickig mit seltsamer Deko im Fenster inklusive verdorbener Pflanzen. Als wir bestellen wollten wurde uns mitgeteilt,das es kein spanisches Bier vom Fass gibt, da die Zapfanlage defekt sei. Alternativen gab es nur ein ! anderes. Glücklicherweise konnte dann plötzlich doch noch das bestellte Bier serviert werden. Service war sehr freundlich. Nach einigen Hin und Her wegen der Bestellung,entschieden wir uns gegen den Rat der Bedienung, für die Tapas Platte für zwei. Angeblich sollte diese sehr umfangreich von der Menge der Tapas sein. Wohlgemerkt als Vorspeise für vier Erwachsene, als diese serviert wurde ,konnten wir nicht glauben das es die große Platte für zwei Personen sei,auf Nachfrage wurde dies jedoch bestätigt. Was soll ich sagen,leider für den Preis total überteuert und viel zu wenig um nicht zu sagen sehr übersichtlich. Auch nicht sehr appetitlich angerichtet und sehr einfallslos. Alle Tapas die ich jemals gegessen habe,waren besser. Da wir noch Hauptgerichte bestellt hatten wurden wir zum Glück wenigstens satt. Dazu muss gesagt werden das der Lachs zu tot gebraten war und auch die Kartoffeln kalt aber bei jeder der vier Portionen. Fazit des Abends: wir würden nicht noch einmal diese Lokal aufsuchen und auch nicht weiter empfehlen, völlig unverständlich wo her die vielen guten Bewertungen kommen. Ansonsten könnte es vielleicht mit einem Wechsel des Koches erklärt werden? Unverschämt teuer 180 € für vier Personen und nicht sehr schmackhaft. Schade und das zu Weihnachten .

Sehr nette Bedienung und leckere authentische spanische Küche. Sehr gute Portionen. Wir hatten gemischte Tapas vorweg und haben daher den Hauptgang nicht geschafft. Sehr zu empfehlen.
