Dedemoglu Baklava & Kebap Salonu in Stuttgart

My wife and I went for dinner for the first time with our daughter, but this is a place I never want to pass by again. To start, my wife ordered kelle paça (head and neck) and I ordered tripe, but I've never tasted anything this bad. The tripe soup that was put in front of me was no different than the mush a 6 month old baby eats when they are transitioning to solid food. It was just plain flour mush, my daughter wanted grilled meatballs, but she could barely eat 2 of them. They were incredibly tasteless, bland, tasteless, and unsalted. Even looking at them, the meatballs were screaming for help. Then my wife ordered Adana, we said okay, this looks good, but we were suffering from heartburn all night, but thank God we made it to the morning. The staff was very attentive and fast, the place is quite comfortable and stylish. But has this kind of cuisine ever been in a place like this?!!

Great food, a bit long waiting time

This is the third time I've come here to buy dessert, but when I get home, the dessert I eagerly try ends up on the table in disarray. Such a large establishment would do well to stop selling dried-out, flavorless desserts.

I was there for the first time today, but certainly not the last! If you go anywhere else for breakfast, you're really out of luck. The Beyoğlu and Tarhana soups were very, very tasty, as were the eggs with suçuk and the freshly baked simits (sesame rings) that were served warm and fresh from the oven. We will definitely be back 💐❣️

For anyone who enjoys a Turkish breakfast, we recommend Dedemoglu on Mauserstrasse. The restaurant not only offers lunch and dinner but also a varied breakfast menu. The simits are amazing. Super fresh and delicious. You simply have to try them. The soups are also a feast for the palate😋 To round things off, you can enjoy delicious baklava. The people here are also professionals at work. Thanks, we'll be back...

The place is very nice. The staff are very polite. However, the restrooms are not clean. The bigger problem is that there is no prayer room in such a place. After dinner, I asked for tea. They said the stove was off and there was no tea. I think there should always be tea. It should be held in a small prayer room in a suitable location.

If you've never eaten at a restaurant before, you'll love this one. Six of us went and ate separately. Normally, we were served at the same time, so we ate every 15 minutes. The mixed grill menu is simply insatiable. Three chicken shish kebabs, three lamb shish kebabs, one meatball, and one chop. Terrible service, and it's a place you choose simply because of its name. Once you pay the bill, you'll understand what I mean. Never again.

Very good quality, tasty, portions aren't the biggest, value for money okay, service unfriendly, location loud, two women's restrooms and one men's restroom were borderline for such a large restaurant and were accordingly really dirty.

The food and service are excellent. My highlight was the Adana from the charcoal grill.

The price-performance ratio is completely out of place. The kebab plates are relatively small, the meat lacks flavor, and the fries are very dry.

Very simply designed. It's more like a cafeteria. The noise level is very high, as there's hardly any space between the tables. A large selection of Turkish dishes. No parking.

We always enjoy going there. The breakfast is excellent, the atmosphere is lovely, and the service is friendly and prompt.

When only McDonald's is open in Stuttgart, you can still get great food here. You saved us. Top location, like being in another world. 👍

Very authentic and delicious! Fresh ayran and delicious meat

I've always really enjoyed being a guest at this restaurant. But what I've experienced now has honestly disappointed and angered me. No longer offering traditional çay (Turkish tea) in a Turkish restaurant, simply because it justifies the fact that guests would otherwise "sit at the table too long" – that's an absolute no-go. çay is an integral part of Turkish culture and symbolizes hospitality. When a Turkish restaurant, of all places, stops serving tea just to free up space more quickly, it clearly shows that profit is paramount. As long as this questionable rule is in place, I will definitely not visit this establishment again. For me, this is no longer true hospitality, but pure calculation.

The Dedemoglu Restaurant offers authentic Turkish cuisine in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We ate here, and the food was freshly prepared, rich in flavor, and very filling. We particularly enjoyed the grilled specialties. The service was friendly and attentive, which made the visit very pleasant.

So first of all, please, how does a restaurant like this get such good reviews???? Because I really fell for it and was very disappointed. I don't mean to badmouth the place, this is just my own opinion. I was there with my husband and children. At first, we weren't really noticed at all, then someone came along who looked a bit listless to me. I ordered the mixed grill plate, my husband ordered kofte. The food arrived, and I thought, what small portions are these for the price? The skewer had gristle, which was completely unacceptable, and then one of the ribs was completely unseasoned and ten. Pure disappointment. I can't recommend it to anyone.

€9 for a takeaway kebab????? People, where is this going? This is no longer proportionate. As a company, we certainly won't be buying kebabs for €9 here.

I'm truly speechless, and not in a good way. Neither the two cakes nor the sütlaç were edible. The cakes tasted artificial and bland. But the biggest shock was the sütlaç. How could you mess up such a simple, traditional dessert? It was nowhere near a proper sütlaç in taste or consistency. If you can't make a dessert, you'd be better off not offering it at all, rather than serving your guests something like that. Absolutely disappointing and unacceptable. This was my first and last visit!!

Where Turks eat Turkish food, it can't taste bad and, lo and behold, it tastes excellent.

The meal for €26, I thought that a large plate would be brought out, 1 Adana smelled and tasted of gas, 1 Köfte, 3 pieces of chicken on a skewer, 3 pieces of beef on a skewer, 1 piece of lamb cutlet and a small tomato, 2 small slices of Yufka and 1 pepper, sorry, a small cup of bulgur, that would be a portion for €26, 1 Lahmacun for €14 and I didn't even get a salad as a side dish. In my opinion, everything is too expensive and there is no taste. The service wasn't outstanding either. I'd rather eat in Sifi or BB and get the best for my money, according to my taste. Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures.

I recommend business owners come to Berlin and try Turkish restaurants. The price-performance ratio is terrible. When you charge 19.90 for Adana, it should be extra. The waiters are good, the location is good, but the quality of the food is very poor. It's shameful to sell flour cookies as Kavala cookies. The stars are for the waiters. I'm not even taking into account the small tea.

We stopped by for breakfast. The soups were delicious. We were expecting a slightly different quality from a place that has been around since 1968. Unfortunately, the waiters seemed to have had enough of it.

A month ago I ate there, everything was warm and delicious. Unfortunately the portion wasn't that full for the €35 I paid. Yes, it is tasty but expensive and it's not worth it for empty plates. This evening I ordered Adana Kebab and Kuzu Sis and a few other dishes to take away. Everything was perfectly packaged. I paid €40 but unfortunately everything was cold. It took me 6 minutes to get home and eat it and when I opened everything it was really cold. The yogurt salad wasn't fresh and had a strange taste and there was just as little meat as last time. I'm very disappointed, at least I expected it to be tasty but it wasn't. 😣 The only thing that is very, very, very tasty is all the types of cake. But I'll never eat there again.

Really sad... You ask for a real Coke, and then you get a cheap, tasteless Coke. For dessert, I specifically ask for chocolate because I only like chocolate desserts, and instead I get something with icing, chocolate residue, and just whipped cream. Truly disappointing.

I went for lunch, and I was very pleased! I had the kelle paca soup, Adana kebab, open ayran, and Turkish coffee, and they were all delicious. The menu is so diverse, it's hard to decide :) The staff is also very friendly and professional. If the location is easy to reach, I definitely recommend it.

I was treated very unfriendly. My dessert request was refused for no reason, even though the customer before me had received the same. The employee responded to my request with rudeness and disrespect. This kind of service is unacceptable in a restaurant. I certainly won't be coming back.

We came here last week with my girlfriend and bought some cookies. The lady in the back was very uninterested and not friendly. We said good luck to you both, but she didn't even look at us. We said good luck to you both, and she raised her head a second time. We put her phone aside and then she started to help. The cookies we bought were not good and not fresh, we won't buy them again anyway. The staff is not friendly and the cookies we bought are not friendly either. We won't come again.

I eat here regularly. I was always satisfied until today. We couldn't finish our food so we had the rest packed up. But I noticed on my receipt that they charged me 1 euro because I had my food packed up. I've never had that happen anywhere else. If two people pay over 60 euros, I think that's enough. For me it's not about the 1 euro, it's a matter of principle. I tip the servers well above that, all the servers can attest to that. But the 1 euro really bothered me. I won't be eating there from now on.

The ambiance is better in any cafeteria. The decor is poorly designed and tasteless. The ceiling and the tables/chairs are simply outdated. The food came quickly, but was already cold. The Adana skewers were neither juicy nor particularly tasty. Having visited countless Turkish restaurants, I must say clearly that I won't be returning again.

This is a fairly standard bakery and restaurant for Stuttgart, but worth a visit if you’re nearby. It’s located in an industrial area, which matches the general vibe of the city. At Dedemoğlu Restaurant, the baklava didn’t look very appealing, but the cookies were pretty good. We had rice pudding and a few types of cookies — not bad overall. Don’t go with high expectations, but it’s definitely worth trying if you’re in the area.

Yesterday's food was absolutely catastrophic. Very bad. Never again. That was the last time.

I visited Dedemoglu in Feuerbach for the first time six months ago and had lentil soup and lahmacun. Unfortunately, it was disappointing: the soup didn't taste like lentils at all, and the lahmacun was only mediocre. The service was already disappointing back then. On my last visit, about three months ago, it was even worse: we waited over half an hour, but no one came to serve us. At some point, we just got up and left. Absolutely unacceptable for a restaurant. What I have to say, though, is that the bakery is top-notch. The desserts are truly delicious, and you can tell the quality. I wouldn't eat there again, but it's worth it for something sweet to go.

This was my first visit to the Dedemoglu Restaurant in Feuerbach, and I have to say, it was the best Turkish restaurant experience I've ever had in Germany. The appetizers were incredible; I've never experienced anything so intense in flavor. The meat was cooked to perfection and simply delicious. Despite the crowds, the service was fast and friendly. A special thank you to Mr. Eray; hats off to him for his friendliness and professionalism, even under pressure. Simply fantastic; I'll definitely be back. 👍🏼

NEVER AGAIN!!! This service lacks any competence. If my order is ignored, and after repeated polite inquiries, nothing happens. No information about the ordered dish, no information about whether I might want something else? NOTHING!! In the end, I have to leave hungry and annoyed, accompanied by ignorant stares from the waitresses, then why am I going to this restaurant?

When you order lahmacun, ask for ground meat. You pay 7.50 euros for your lahmacun. They've had the meat smelled before sending it off. Adana's rice was mushy in the old days. There's no trace left of it. No one makes money easily, so you should give your money its due.

The soups were delicious 😋 But €13.50 for two soups was very expensive, unfortunately.

We had lamb chops. They were very dry and inedible. When we complained, they put the chops back on the grill. Of course, to no avail. The chops were still dry. The rice is disgusting, and you can't get fries with this meal on the weekend. The desserts are overpriced and taste like artificial Dr. Oetker cream.

A clean and tidy shop with many variations of Turkish cuisine (mostly from the East). They specialize in baklava and other delicacies. Since these are matters of taste, I'll cautiously say, "I enjoyed it." Interesting hours ;) Meets expectations. Highly recommended

I used to recommend Dedemoğlu to everyone — not anymore. My last visit was a huge disappointment. Flies on the bread, ripped seats, dirty bathrooms, and worst of all, an incredibly rude waiter. He interrupted our order, rolled his eyes, and snapped, “We don’t serve tap water here.” The place has gone downhill fast. For these prices, there are far better options in Stuttgart. I won’t be returning — and I regret ever recommending it.

Lamb shish kebab and chops are very good.

The İskender wasn't the best, but it was still delicious. It's a shame the bread cubes weren't toasted beforehand. The bell pepper (beaver) on top was unfortunately raw. The lotus trifle didn't really impress us. The lotus flavor was barely noticeable. The little tarts looked very nice, but they tasted rather disappointing. The Magnolia was okay. The biscuit portion was quite soft and the strawberries weren't particularly fresh, but they still tasted okay. For dessert, I would only order the baklava here.

Even though closing time was 10:00 PM, they wouldn't let me in because they said they closed about half an hour earlier. If you're going to make a plan, do so accordingly. Don't waste your time.

Klar, ich helfe dir gerne dabei, eine sachlich formulierte, aber deutliche negative Rezension zu schreiben. So wirkt sie ernst genommen und glaubwürdig, ohne beleidigend zu sein. Hier ist ein Vorschlag für deine Bewertung: --- Bewertung für Dedemolo O'Glu (Stuttgart, Feuerbach): Ich habe mir einen Ismir Bombazil gekauft, den ich bisher eigentlich immer lecker fand – besonders wegen der cremigen Nutella-Füllung, wie ich sie kenne und erwarte. Doch diesmal war ich leider extrem enttäuscht. Statt der gewohnten Nutella war eine dunkle, sehr fettige und bittere Schokoladenfüllung drin, die stark nach billiger Kuvertüre schmeckte. Ich konnte das Produkt beim besten Willen nicht essen – der Geschmack war einfach unangenehm und hat mir absolut nicht zugesagt. Das Ganze hatte weder die gewohnte Qualität noch den erwarteten Geschmack. Für diese Izmir Bombazi, habe ich pro Stück 2€ gezahlt, was an sich schon ein sehr stolzer Preis für das kleine Dessert ist. Die 2€ waren noch akzeptabel da bisher Nutella drinne war. Aber mit dieser neuen bitteren Schokolade, die mir nicht runter ging, sind die 2€ 100% nicht gerechtfertigt.!!!!!! Nachdem ich nachgefragt habe, wurde behauptet es hätte sich nicht geändert. Aber den Unterschied zwischen Schokolade und bitterer Billig-Schokolade kann jeder Unterscheiden!!! Es wird dort alles Teurer und die Qualität lässt dabei nach. Kommt mir vor als, wenn nur noch der Profit an 1. Stelle steht!! Sehr schade, war bisher sehr gerne dort.

Ridiculous, this is supposed to be Adana-kuzu sis kombi. A mini portion, and it cost 23 euros. The portions are small. Not worth it.

The tomatoes were raw, the peppers were burnt to the point of being inedible, the bulgur pilaf was mushy, Adana is so cold that it doesn't satisfy, it's spoiled, it's not worth going there, we paid 70-80€ and left hungry.

I came for the first time upon recommendation. The food was very bad except for lahmacun and it was very expensive. The most important thing is that the people sitting right in front of the doors are smoking and the smoke is seeping inside, I was very disturbed. I only stopped in briefly to pick up my food – it was really delicious and freshly prepared, nothing to complain about! Unfortunately, the ventilation in the store isn't optimal: after just a few minutes, my clothes smelled strongly of food. Management should urgently improve this. Nevertheless: the food was top-notch, but the indoor climate could be improved.

Came in there asking for 3 pcs. of baklava, told us we can buy min 4. Said we want to pay in card and they stated that we need a minimum 10 euro purchase. No apologies for the inconvenience, but a rude intonation instead. Meat doner is great, recommended

We got take out dinner yesterday. The Adana kebab was not only made with minced meat. The meat contained cartilage (meat residue). The Iskender was swimming in the fat and was very heavy in the stomach. After dinner my husband had gastrointestinal problems. And we also paid €47 for the whole thing. Even in the cheapest snack bar you would get something better.

Disappointing visit – not recommended I ordered three pieces of cake, a small pastry, two lattes and a bottle of water - for which I was charged €36.50. That is clearly too much, especially since I was charged €5 too much. Despite asking, I was not given an invoice - very questionable. The quality of the desserts was disappointing. The cakes were definitely not fresh – estimated at least four days old. In addition, the lady at the counter was extremely unfriendly. I think it's a shame when people work in a job with direct customer contact but obviously don't enjoy it - especially when children are also present. I definitely won't visit this place again.
