Dedemoglu Baklava & Kebap Salonu in Stuttgart

The tomatoes were raw, the peppers were burnt to the point of being inedible, the bulgur pilaf was mushy, Adana is so cold that it doesn't satisfy, it's spoiled, it's not worth going there, we paid 70-80€ and left hungry.

The İskender wasn't the best I've ever had, but it was still delicious. It's a shame the bread cubes weren't toasted beforehand. The bell pepper (beaver) on top was unfortunately raw. The lotus trifle unfortunately didn't impress us. The lotus flavor was barely noticeable. The little cakes looked very nice, but they tasted rather disappointing – unless you're into buttercream. The Magnolia was okay. The biscuit portion was quite soft and the strawberries weren't particularly fresh, but they still tasted okay. For dessert, I would only order the baklava.

I only stopped in briefly to pick up my food – it was really delicious and freshly prepared, nothing to complain about! Unfortunately, the ventilation in the store isn't optimal: after just a few minutes, my clothes smelled strongly of food. Management should urgently improve this. Came in there asking for 3 pcs. of baklava, told us we can buy min 4. Said we want to pay in card and they stated that we need a minimum 10 euro purchase. No apologies for the inconvenience, but a rude intonation instead. We got take out dinner yesterday. The Adana kebab was not only made with minced meat. The meat contained cartilage (meat residue). The Iskender was swimming in the fat and was very heavy in the stomach. After dinner my husband had gastrointestinal problems. And we also paid €47 for the whole thing. Even in the cheapest snack bar you would get something better.

Disappointing visit – not recommended I ordered three pieces of cake, a small pastry, two lattes and a bottle of water - for which I was charged €36.50. That is clearly too much, especially since I was charged €5 too much. Despite asking, I was not given an invoice - very questionable. The quality of the desserts was disappointing. The cakes were definitely not fresh – estimated at least four days old. In addition, the lady at the counter was extremely unfriendly. We drank tripe and leg soup, both of them were delicious. The meat of the leg soup was plentiful but a little cold, and the tripe had very few pieces, it felt like I drank only water. The prices are reasonable, but tea is not a treat for those who drink soup :)

Ordered 2 lentil soups for 7€ each so 14€ + 2 melemen with sucuk i.e. scrambled eggs with sucuk but unfortunately not the good sucuk variety but the cheap extremely small portions. Great, unfortunately also lean, only you can squeeze in as much bread as you want. But most likely many people don't even eat that much. + 1 water and a cola ordered as a drink! Conclusion 50€ left behind for just breakfast And not even a dessert let alone a tea / cay / black tea was offered. Unfortunately, eating there has become too much of a luxury....😧🥲

The order is taken very late and the waiters do not see it. We ordered dessert and it came in tablespoons. It is a big and nice place, but you cannot eat it, you have to prove to the waiter that you came. He will see you, take your order and come back again in 30 minutes.

Despite the expensive dishes, the food is good - but unfortunately I can't say the same about the cakes. They only come in two sizes: either way too big (for 6-8 people) or way too small (for one person). The large cakes are definitely not a value for money winner (€35). What deserves the biggest deduction, however, is the unfriendly lady who seems as if she was there against her will. She even answers simple questions from customers with a grumpy expression on her face. My advice: If you are so unhappy with your job, maybe it would be better to quit the job. And if there is no other choice, it would at least be nice if you didn't take it out on the customer. Furthermore, when we asked for a candle, we only got one with great difficulty - as if we were asking for alms. Such behavior for a trifle of a few cents – that just doesn't suit Dedemoğlu.

The taste of the baklava we buy just before the Eid is far from the Baklava they always sell. You taste glucose, there is nothing like peanuts except the amount that is seen as decoration on it.

Unfortunately a disappointing experience. I reserved a table for Iftar two weeks ago. We arrived on time for Iftar - exactly at the time of breaking the fast - and were then turned away with the absurd reason that we should have arrived half an hour earlier. This information was not provided to us when making the reservation. Our table was already taken and now my guests and I have to wait, even though we got there on time and had a reservation. For a restaurant that explicitly offers Iftar seating, this is completely unprofessional and disrespectful. You should be able to rely on a reservation, especially on such an important occasion. We've been coming here for iftar dinner for a long time. Each of the dishes was very successful. I had Chicken Soup, Mixed Grill Plate and Meat Bread and each was very good.

A great restaurant with a wonderful ambience. The atmosphere is very inviting and stylish. The staff were okay, but the real reason for our visit was the desserts - and they absolutely convinced me! The Trilece was excellent, juicy and tasted exactly right. The coffee also went well with it. Two of my colleagues weren't quite as enthusiastic about the desserts as I was, but for my taste it was a real highlight. The prices are quite high, but still acceptable given the large selection. If you love sweets, you should definitely stop by here!

The tables are all dirty, as soon as you get there you have to have them cleaned and they are all set up too close, so you're basically eating with strangers. The food is not worth its price. The only thing I would recommend is the baklava. It could be better, I would only eat here if I had to and I was in a hurry.

2022: Soups and meatballs are awesome. 2024: I used to go there in 2022, but I didn't go there for a long time after 2023. I visited there for a long time and there were a lot of changes. - Breads that come together with soups became different and much smaller and less. We ordered 3 soups, but they served only 1 and that was a small one. In the past 6 to 7 cuts of bread were served. - Potato salad is gone. The potato salad that was served with a main plate dish is now gone. I really liked the Schwäbisches Kartoffelsalat, so I am personally sad about it. - Onion and parsley salad is gone.
